:00:20. > :00:22.. This programme contains strobe Hello. Welcome to the One Show.

:00:22. > :00:27.Tonight, we are live from Television Centre!

:00:27. > :00:32.CHEERING It's a very excited audience. We

:00:32. > :00:37.are the warm up. What we hope it will be the biggest ever Children

:00:38. > :00:43.In Need. After eight days and 411 gruelling miles, our brilliant Team

:00:43. > :00:47.Rickshaw will cross the finishing line later on. We have Pudsey there.

:00:47. > :00:53.We have some of Team GB medallists and of course, their lovely

:00:53. > :00:56.families. It's going to be very, very emotional. What better way to

:00:56. > :00:59.start our show than with one of the biggest bands in the world. Can you

:00:59. > :01:05.hear the screams. Welcome One Direction!

:01:05. > :01:11.CHEERING Hi boys. Nice to have you here. A

:01:11. > :01:15.lot of fans, weirdly. I wasn't expecting that one. You've probably

:01:15. > :01:21.heard about our six brilliant youngsters and what they've done

:01:21. > :01:30.this week from Llandudno to London tonight. If you were doing the

:01:30. > :01:37.Rickshaw Challenge, who would be the keen peddler? Liam. He's very

:01:37. > :01:40.competitive. Who is the most lazy? Zane. Would you be too busy doing

:01:40. > :01:45.your hair? No, just I probably would stop off somewhere and hope

:01:45. > :01:52.the boys didn't realise. And who would be the coach then? Who's the

:01:52. > :01:56.bossy one? I think Louis would have motivational chants. You're agreed,

:01:56. > :02:00.that's good. Thank you to everyone for your donations so far. We've

:02:00. > :02:06.raised so much already. The totesal will come before the end ftd show.

:02:06. > :02:16.If you would like to donate, here's how to do it. To show your support

:02:16. > :02:19.

:02:19. > :02:24.For full terms and conditions visit bbc.co.uk/Pudsey.

:02:24. > :02:28.That's how you do it. Please donate during the show, if you can. Do it

:02:28. > :02:33.now. We saw you exactly a year ago tonight, which is weird. Are you

:02:33. > :02:37.wearing the same thing, because I am? Similar, yeah. We've been

:02:37. > :02:41.wearing it since. Since I saw you last, basically your career has

:02:41. > :02:46.gone stratospheric. What a great word. You can use that one. You've

:02:46. > :02:53.even cracked America now. You've gone. Have you left us? Absolutely

:02:53. > :02:58.not. Not true. America, your single was the fastest one to get to

:02:58. > :03:02.number one by a non-US band right? On the pre-order I think that's

:03:02. > :03:08.right, yes. Why do you think it's worked so well for you there?

:03:08. > :03:13.don't know. Fluked it I think. it a bit weird, all this attention

:03:13. > :03:17.you get? Is it scary sometimes? Absolutely. You never expect to see

:03:17. > :03:20.a lot of people screaming at you and stuff. We love it though. It's

:03:20. > :03:29.incredible. You were on some massive shows over there. Saturday

:03:29. > :03:39.Night Live. And the Ellen Degeneres show. Your fans won't have seen you

:03:39. > :03:46.

:03:46. > :03:49.like this before. This is Saturday CHEERING

:03:49. > :03:56.Now then, Harry, what exactly was going on there? That's us before

:03:56. > :04:00.hair and make up. Oh, yeah! All right. Having a jig. You're back

:04:00. > :04:05.home now. You have a new album and a new single which is called Little

:04:05. > :04:11.Things. Correct. Before we talk about it, let's have a look.

:04:11. > :04:19.# I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth

:04:19. > :04:27.# But if I do, it's you # Oh, it's you they add up to.

:04:27. > :04:32.# I'm in love with you. # And all these little things #

:04:32. > :04:39.CHEERING It's lovely. It's so nice, isn't

:04:39. > :04:45.it? It's going to be, it's been a busy 2012. 2013, I believe you guys

:04:45. > :04:50.are on tour and is it a sell out already? Erm... In most places yes.

:04:50. > :04:53.You haven't got one ticket left for me? Yeah, we could squeeze one.

:04:53. > :04:57.Brilliant. Thank you very much. Before the end of the show we would

:04:57. > :05:03.like you to launch the big Children In Need number. Will you do that?

:05:03. > :05:07.That would be amazing. Yes. In the meantime, this is how Team Rickshaw

:05:07. > :05:12.felt today with the finish line in sight. Celebrities have been doing

:05:12. > :05:15.it for years. This time it's been different. Six young people with

:05:15. > :05:22.determination and a belief in their abilities, pushing themselves for

:05:22. > :05:29.others in need. Lauren, Darren, Ciaran, gentleman milla, Jack and

:05:29. > :05:33.James -- Jamilla, Jack and James, with just one day head of them with

:05:33. > :05:37.Team Rickshaw. We're facing incredible hills. We've faced

:05:37. > :05:43.terrible weather and now we're about to face horrific traffic.

:05:43. > :05:47.Less than 38 miles to go now. know. If you think back then and

:05:47. > :05:53.there's one moment that sticks out in your mind... It was when I

:05:53. > :05:56.arrived in Bath. Seeing my dad there on the stage. It was just a

:05:56. > :06:00.great feeling. We've had a tough year, but we've supported each

:06:00. > :06:07.other throughout. What was the worst bit? Probably all the hills

:06:07. > :06:14.in Wales. They took their toll. There was still more hills to come.

:06:14. > :06:20.Come on Jack. This is your last mile. Gosh. How do you sum it up?

:06:20. > :06:24.Tgz a fantastic journey. I've enjoyed every bit of it. That, my

:06:24. > :06:29.friend, is that. Excellent. Where exactly are we heading? Windsor

:06:29. > :06:33.Castle. Excellent. For the changing of the guard. You think changing of

:06:33. > :06:37.the guard. I think cup of tea with the Queen. It was time for a change

:06:37. > :06:43.of rider too. Come on Windsor, no I meant come on James. I'm tired. I'm

:06:43. > :06:46.tired. Did this all turn out like you thought it would? It's been

:06:46. > :06:48.really hard, but I don't know, I've just enjoyed it. What's been the

:06:48. > :06:58.best thing about the whole experience depor you? I think the

:06:58. > :07:00.

:07:00. > :07:04.people. I liked the atmosphere. CAR HONKS HORN

:07:04. > :07:14.In Windsor Team Rickshaw were in for a surprise. We had the

:07:14. > :07:14.

:07:14. > :07:20.privilege of joining the Coldstream Guards on parade. Attention! With

:07:20. > :07:26.that push, the rest of our six reflect on what a week it's been.

:07:26. > :07:31.How's that, a bit easier? Yeah. thought we'd put a few hills in for

:07:31. > :07:34.you Lauren. Because it's your last bit. You're so kind! Can you

:07:34. > :07:40.believe it's nearly over? I'm going to miss everyone. What would you

:07:40. > :07:45.like to do next? More challenges, keep them coming. That is it.

:07:46. > :07:49.Has it changed you in any way? I think I'll be more willing to do

:07:49. > :07:56.stuff like this in the future. I really enjoyed it. Even the bits

:07:56. > :08:02.that have been tough, I enjoyed them as well. This was a great

:08:02. > :08:06.experience with some really great people. Some parts were hard, but

:08:07. > :08:14.we managed to pull through and get to the end. What's it been like

:08:14. > :08:19.having your dad here as well? seen me grow up and what we've been

:08:19. > :08:22.through together, to see me do something like this must make him

:08:22. > :08:29.quite proud. It's been such a great experience. I didn't think that I'd

:08:29. > :08:33.make it to the end. Why? Because when I hurt my knee and my back,

:08:33. > :08:37.usually in a normal circumstance I'd be like, no, I'm not doing it.

:08:37. > :08:42.I thought that I couldn't let the team down, so I had to push on. For

:08:42. > :08:45.me to be a part of this, such a big thing and for us as a team, to work

:08:45. > :08:55.together, knowing that Children In Need has helped us all and to be

:08:55. > :09:09.

:09:09. > :09:12.able to get that support from It certainly has been a big thing.

:09:13. > :09:19.Now then, the rickshaw is about to arrive. All the families are here

:09:19. > :09:23.already. We have Jamilla's mum and sister here. Here is Sydney. We've

:09:23. > :09:26.not met you before, Darren's brother. No, not yet. You've been

:09:26. > :09:31.following their challenge all week. Very closely indeed, yes. What did

:09:31. > :09:37.you make of it? Fantastic what they've done, what they've overcome,

:09:37. > :09:40.the barriers they've broken down to all, each all have their own

:09:40. > :09:44.personal challenges and they've done exceedingly well. Darren has

:09:44. > :09:47.really pushed himself. Oh, he has. He's done well. While we were on

:09:47. > :09:52.the bike yesterday, he spoke specifically about Jamie, who

:09:52. > :09:54.you've brought with you tonight? Yeah, my guide dog, of course.

:09:54. > :10:00.you think Darren would be able to complete the challenge in the style

:10:00. > :10:04.that he has done it? Not the style and not to the high standard that

:10:04. > :10:08.he has done. He's just proved us all wrong, not just me, my mum, dad,

:10:08. > :10:12.the whole family. He's done excellent. You should be very proud.

:10:12. > :10:17.You know what, the big moment has arrived. I can now reveal that Matt

:10:17. > :10:23.and Team Rickshaw are coming around that corner! Over to you Matt.

:10:23. > :10:29.ease up a bit because we're going left here. Go left.

:10:29. > :10:39.APPLAUSE And straight on. That's it. Here we

:10:39. > :10:58.

:10:58. > :11:08.go, then! The end of 411 miles! Everybody, come on. There's your

:11:08. > :11:18.finish line. Come on team. Let's get it over the line! CHEERING AND

:11:18. > :11:28.APPLAUSE We did it! We've done it! An unbelievable sight. They've done

:11:28. > :11:28.

:11:28. > :11:31.it. Unbelievable, my word. Isn't it wonderful that they've decided to

:11:31. > :11:37.do it together with Darren getting off. Come on over. Families come on

:11:37. > :11:46.in. Come on. Be careful. Everybody round. Who have we got over here?

:11:46. > :11:49.Ian! It is so good to see you again. Your boy, obviously, Jack here,...

:11:49. > :11:54.Unbelievable. It's fantastic. I think so proud of him. So proud of

:11:54. > :11:59.everything he's done and all of the guys. They've been amazing. What a

:11:59. > :12:04.team. And Sam, Jack's sister. You can tell you're his sister. Don't

:12:04. > :12:06.say that. What do you make of what your brother has done? I think it's

:12:06. > :12:09.absolutely amazing. Considering what he's been through, something

:12:09. > :12:13.like this, I never thought he would do something like this ever. He's

:12:13. > :12:17.proved everyone wrong and everyone who has done the Rickshaw Challenge

:12:17. > :12:22.are inspiration aling. It's brilliant. Everybody are --

:12:22. > :12:26.inspirational. It's brilliant. Sydney is here Darren's brother.

:12:26. > :12:30.Hello. Nice to meet you. What do all your family back home make of

:12:30. > :12:35.what your brother has done? Absolutely outstanding. The

:12:35. > :12:40.barriers they've overcome, the great heights, they've pushed

:12:40. > :12:45.themselves. Absolutely overwhelmed, the whole family is outstanding,

:12:45. > :12:50.they've done exceedingly well. Darren, and the whole team. Darren

:12:50. > :12:54.was saying to me, he cannot wait to see the dog. So there we are.

:12:54. > :13:03.Jamie's here as well. Don't forget Jamie. Get in.

:13:03. > :13:06.CHEERING It's so emotional with Team

:13:06. > :13:10.Rickshaw here. Before you go to kick off Children In Need well and

:13:10. > :13:20.truly tonight, we'd like you to launch the official number. So

:13:20. > :13:26.

:13:26. > :13:32.Remember, that those phone lines are open now. You can ring any time

:13:32. > :13:35.from now on. Thank you so much boys. Thank you. Team Rickshaw have

:13:35. > :13:41.arrived, but you lot across the UK have been doing various things to

:13:41. > :13:47.raise money for Children In Need. Evenlet -- even the Olympians,

:13:47. > :13:54.Rebecca Adlington and Anthony Ogogo having a bake-off.

:13:54. > :13:58.Four time Olympic medallist Rebecca Adlington. Double Gold Medal winner

:13:58. > :14:02.Pete Reed. Olympic medallist and world champion Keri-Anne Payne.

:14:02. > :14:06.Commonwealth and Olympic medal winner Anthony Ogogo. This summer

:14:06. > :14:11.they worked their socks off at London 2012. Today it's just as

:14:11. > :14:17.hard as they face the Children In Need cake bake challenge. Rebecca

:14:17. > :14:21.and Pete's team have helped from zed arts in Manchester. Kerry an

:14:21. > :14:25.and Antony's reds have bakers from home start in Soth Ribble. Both

:14:25. > :14:30.organisations have benefited from Children In Need. You have an hour-

:14:31. > :14:35.and-a-half to bake 200 cakes each. So with the help of champion baker

:14:35. > :14:39.Sandra, teams, let's bake! The public will eat the cakes later and

:14:39. > :14:44.decide how much they want to donate. The team that raises the most money,

:14:44. > :14:47.they win. As our teams get stuck in, I spy an expert. Do you do a lot of

:14:47. > :14:51.baking? I love it, yes. Looks like the blue team have an immediate

:14:51. > :14:55.advantage in Rebecca's cooking skills, whereas the red team, they

:14:55. > :14:59.seem intent on getting the mixture everywhere. Try to keep the mix in

:14:59. > :15:03.the bowl please. Look at the mess everywhere. Yeah, we're getting

:15:03. > :15:11.stuck in. The kids are making less mess than you though. Spoke too

:15:11. > :15:14.soon. The blue team are cleaner and more organised. You're doing well.

:15:14. > :15:24.Red team, you seem to be taking it less seriously than the blue team,

:15:24. > :15:27.

:15:27. > :15:31.if you don't mind me saying. As time runs out it's about remaining

:15:31. > :15:38.focus. Olympic athletes know all about that - don't they? It's the

:15:38. > :15:45.little rascals. It's the big rascal. Oi! The ovens are hotting up and so

:15:45. > :15:49.is the rivally. -- rivalry. Clean down, now. While the cakes are

:15:49. > :15:59.baking, our teams get ahead with the decorations. Hot tray coming

:15:59. > :16:01.

:16:01. > :16:07.I think it is meant to be Pudsey! This is the new Team GB. They are

:16:07. > :16:15.out of time. Let's get them to market!

:16:15. > :16:19.Tory market has been trading for 500 years but I am willing to bet

:16:19. > :16:25.they have never had Olympians selling their food here!

:16:25. > :16:30.This will help Children In Need, are you ready?! Let's see some

:16:30. > :16:33.donations for Children In Need! Both teams have the same amount of

:16:34. > :16:41.cakes to shift but which athletes will go the extra mile to bring in

:16:41. > :16:47.the cash? The Blue Team are a lot nicer than the red team! They are

:16:47. > :16:52.part of Team GB but today they are on opposite sides. I have a range

:16:52. > :17:01.from a mystery taster to come but I think Rebecca has recognised him.

:17:01. > :17:07.Didn't you winner the British Baker of? She is star-struck! Not bad,

:17:07. > :17:17.look at that. It is a little bit dry. The blue team have got a

:17:17. > :17:21.

:17:21. > :17:30.better bake. Neisse flavour. -- nicer. The blue team have got it.

:17:30. > :17:36.Anybody else want some cupcakes? Delicious! Anybody?! Team GB,

:17:36. > :17:41.brilliant. Here is at the result! Thank you to the people of Chorley.

:17:41. > :17:51.I can't believe how much has been raised for Children In Need. One

:17:51. > :17:59.

:17:59. > :18:08.A grand total of 932, but the winning team today: The Blue Team!

:18:08. > :18:13.Well done! CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Rebecca,

:18:13. > :18:19.punching the air as if you had just won another Olympic medal!

:18:19. > :18:28.We have got something for you, congratulations. It is a bit bigger

:18:28. > :18:31.venue Olympic medal. APPLAUSE We haven't got time to

:18:31. > :18:35.play the national anthem. This is not the last be would see a

:18:35. > :18:41.few tonight because the Olympians have come together to work on a

:18:41. > :18:45.special project. We got asked to do a little dance, to all go out of

:18:45. > :18:52.our comfort zone and do a special dance, so I did a bit of swimming,

:18:52. > :18:59.and I am not a dancer! Did they say, show us what you can do? And adapt

:18:59. > :19:04.it? I was with Ellie Simmonds. We were trying to come up a dance with

:19:05. > :19:09.swimming in it and there is only one! That is all we could do!

:19:09. > :19:15.me and Nicola Adams, then we busted some moves together! I was pulling

:19:15. > :19:23.out some dance moves I have not done since the school disco!

:19:23. > :19:29.Brilliant, isn't it. You are still within your sport then? Not mixing

:19:29. > :19:35.boxing and swimming? Dancing is as far out of my comfort zone as I can

:19:35. > :19:40.go! Audley Harrison might agree! can see all of this on the Children

:19:40. > :19:47.In Need show at this evening? will stop and to remind you at home,

:19:47. > :19:56.the number is above our heads! don't have to wait until the main

:19:56. > :20:00.show to donate, you can do it now. 03457. 33. 22. 33!

:20:00. > :20:06.So was this the first time you had met some of the other Olympians?

:20:06. > :20:10.Quite a lot of us know each other from the Olympic Games. We met some

:20:11. > :20:17.people in Beijing. But it is always nice to come together and get to

:20:17. > :20:21.know each other. I have enjoyed it over the past few months. And with

:20:21. > :20:27.the home games, you have been given to all sorts of premieres and

:20:27. > :20:36.things like that! We have a lovely photo of you in a very nice dress!

:20:36. > :20:41.Twilight, yeah. It was amazing! I am a big fan! What are the plans?

:20:41. > :20:46.Back in the gym, training hard. I have got a big decision to make

:20:46. > :20:52.whether to turn professional so I am thinking of my options. Where

:20:52. > :20:56.are you? I am flitting between the two. London was such a successful

:20:56. > :21:02.stock it was amazing to be part of Team GB and to do that again would

:21:02. > :21:07.be brilliant. But I nearly failed to qualify for London so you never

:21:07. > :21:12.know what is coming to happen. But I could try to turn professional...

:21:12. > :21:19.A at the moment, just concentrate on the dancing, which people can

:21:19. > :21:29.see later on in Children In Need. Also up on stage, the best girl

:21:29. > :21:30.

:21:30. > :21:39.band of the 21st century, Girls Aloud! Yes! Also, random. Lord

:21:39. > :21:46.Sugar is visiting the Queen Vic. And Russell Brand will be with Anne

:21:46. > :21:51.Widdecombe on the dance floor! We've NTC two blokes who have taken

:21:51. > :22:01.raising money for Children In Need to new heights -- we went to see.

:22:01. > :22:07.This is a pole but no ordinary pole. Two electricity engineers from

:22:07. > :22:12.Swansea, for them, the top of this pole will be home for the next 24

:22:12. > :22:22.hours! They plan to stay up there for two days and two nights to

:22:22. > :22:23.

:22:23. > :22:27.raise money for Children In Need, without a break! Best of luck.

:22:27. > :22:30.boys are in for sleep deprivation, muscle cramps and exposure to the

:22:30. > :22:37.elements so it is my job to keep their spirits up and their stomachs

:22:37. > :22:45.full! Just 40 the hours to go! Sleep tight and we will see you in

:22:45. > :22:51.the morning! -- 48 hours! Thursday. I have just had a cup of tea and it

:22:51. > :22:59.is starting to rain, but other than that, it is all good. All the best,

:22:59. > :23:03.hairy chest. The next day. Mike and Jason have survived the first night

:23:03. > :23:09.but they are tired and hungry so why have a range of a Michelin-

:23:09. > :23:15.starred chef, Stephen Terry, to give them a treat -- so I have

:23:15. > :23:24.arranged. It is a fantastic world breakfast, sausages, lava bread,
