:00:18. > :00:23.Hallo and welcome to the One Show with Patrick Kielty, Alex Jones and
:00:24. > :00:29.Iwan Thomas. We are welcoming, direct from Heathrow, each with a
:00:30. > :00:31.medal around their necks, 30 of our Olympic heroes.
:00:32. > :00:40.CHEERING The first on our red carpet, it is
:00:41. > :00:47.the women's flyweight gold medallist, Nicola Adams! With her,
:00:48. > :00:57.the superheavyweight medal winner, Joe Joyce. And Josh Buatsi. We've
:00:58. > :01:00.also got our amazing golden hockey team led by the captain Kate
:01:01. > :01:05.Richardson-Walsh, Helen Richardson-Walsh and goalkeeper
:01:06. > :01:13.Maddie Finch. CHEERING Joined by Hannah Macleod, Susannah
:01:14. > :01:21.Townsend, Alex Danson, Lily Owsley, Georgie Twigg, Sophie Bray, Laura
:01:22. > :01:26.Unsworth and Crista Cullen. We have the gold winning sailors Hannah
:01:27. > :01:33.Mills and Saskia Clarke and the kayak gold winners Joe Clarke and
:01:34. > :01:45.Liam Heath. And from the pool, the double Silver Medal winner, Jazz
:01:46. > :01:50.Carlin. We have the rowers, Helen Glover, Matthew Langridge, Matt
:01:51. > :01:52.Gotrel and William Satch with gold medals and Silver Medal winning
:01:53. > :01:58.Polly Swan and Karen Bennett. We have the one and only gold winning
:01:59. > :02:05.medallist -- gold-medal winning cyclist Ed Clancy and from the rugby
:02:06. > :02:12.sevens, Dan Bibby, Phil Burgess and Tom Mitchell winning silver medal
:02:13. > :02:20.was. Team GB, everyone! Add Silver Medal 's. -- silver medals. We have
:02:21. > :02:24.to thank them for their performances in Rio and for delaying their return
:02:25. > :02:31.home to be with us. We are joined by Will Satch, Laura Unsworth, Hannah
:02:32. > :02:39.Mills and Saskia Clarke and the boxer, Nicola Adams. Nicola, talk us
:02:40. > :02:44.through the flight. Basically it looked like a party bus all the way
:02:45. > :02:48.home. Yeah it was, a lot of fun, British Airways did a good job
:02:49. > :02:53.entertaining us and it was nice to feel appreciated for the hard work
:02:54. > :03:01.we did in Rio. A long flight, who stuck the place and who faded? I
:03:02. > :03:05.think I was the first one to fade! Well, you had a special set, I
:03:06. > :03:14.believe? I flew the flight back with Adam Peaty! All the way. There he is
:03:15. > :03:16.at the front. One of the brilliant things, previous Olympics apparently
:03:17. > :03:23.all of the medal winners are meant to be in the seats up front but this
:03:24. > :03:28.time we had more medal winners than those seats, so how did it work? I
:03:29. > :03:34.don't know but somehow we ended up and the front, it was amazing. Best
:03:35. > :03:37.experience ever. I'm looking at the Lady at the end, Laura, I saw a
:03:38. > :03:43.picture of someone dressed as British Airways cabin crew. 70 extra
:03:44. > :03:48.bottles of champagne on the flight. Are you responsible for where they
:03:49. > :03:52.went? Maybe! It was the hockey girls's fault, we had the majority.
:03:53. > :03:58.We thought we would give the hostess is a rest and do their jobs for
:03:59. > :04:03.them. I think you did very well. Saskia, we saw a tweet from you with
:04:04. > :04:09.your luggage yourself and Hannah. Was it a good idea to have all of
:04:10. > :04:13.Team GB with the same red bag when you got back to the airport? It
:04:14. > :04:17.looked a nightmare but I think we got lucky because we were taken to a
:04:18. > :04:21.press conference and our bags arrived there. Then we forgot about
:04:22. > :04:26.them, actually. Behind you, the hockey girls who were starting the
:04:27. > :04:31.singing, when you were taking off from Rio, was the singing still
:04:32. > :04:34.happening whenever Nicola was walking off the plane? I think that
:04:35. > :04:41.the hockey girls were partying into the night, I think that they win.
:04:42. > :04:45.They are the hard-core? Yeah. Nicola, first off the plane, we'll
:04:46. > :04:50.was flying the plane home, Laura was in charge of champagne, the hockey
:04:51. > :04:54.girls in charge of singing and Hannah and -- Hannah and Saskia
:04:55. > :05:01.making sure the banks were sorted. Give it up for flying home Team GB
:05:02. > :05:07.-- the bags. CHEERING Plenty of celebrations on the way
:05:08. > :05:11.home. The good news is that the celebrations will continue with a
:05:12. > :05:17.parade in Manchester. You were part of the 20 12th two, can you describe
:05:18. > :05:23.the feeling of being on the bus -- the tour in 2012. Is it the best
:05:24. > :05:27.feeling? Yes, fantastic to go away and have so much success, and
:05:28. > :05:30.sharing it with the nation who gave us so much support, that's what it's
:05:31. > :05:38.all about. The streets are going to be packed. Job, I heard that as a
:05:39. > :05:44.tribute to you, there is something special happening? -- Joe. My town
:05:45. > :05:48.is organising a homecoming for me, which is an honour and they are
:05:49. > :05:52.going to parade me around in a canoe. They are going to carry you
:05:53. > :05:57.down the street in a canoe? Six people are going to carry me round
:05:58. > :06:00.and parade me and hopefully there will be a good reception back home
:06:01. > :06:06.in stone. Some good Twitter moments coming on. There will be some good
:06:07. > :06:10.selfies from the top of the canoe. Can I just squeeze in. Helen Connor
:06:11. > :06:17.you have done this before, you have a parade in Penzance -- Helen, you
:06:18. > :06:20.have done this before. There is a lot of talk about receiving honours
:06:21. > :06:25.but you don't think it should be automatic? I feel like bringing the
:06:26. > :06:29.medals home is the most important thing, that's our job, anything else
:06:30. > :06:34.is an amazing extra but it isn't something we expect. If it comes it
:06:35. > :06:37.is a bonus and it shows the country is proud but we want to bring the
:06:38. > :06:45.medals home and anything else is special. Absolutely. I will swap
:06:46. > :06:49.with you. At the end, Matt, a golden rower. Great Britain, second in the
:06:50. > :06:56.world, everybody, isn't that an achievement! CHEERING
:06:57. > :07:00.When you were out in Rio, were you feeling the pressure in terms of
:07:01. > :07:05.Japan? I think we were focused on our own event and really focused on
:07:06. > :07:11.winning. When the first medal came in it started rolling and
:07:12. > :07:14.snowballed, when the floodgates opened it kept going and before we
:07:15. > :07:17.know it we were climbing up the table and by the end, the last
:07:18. > :07:20.couple of days we were pushing to really try and keep that second
:07:21. > :07:24.place, which is an amazing achievement. When you go to Tokyo,
:07:25. > :07:29.do you think that there will be a lot of pressure on Team GB? Yeah it
:07:30. > :07:33.is going to be hard, the Chinese won't be happy that we have taken
:07:34. > :07:37.their spot in the second place so they are going to push pretty hard.
:07:38. > :07:42.Nobody thought we could surpass London and we have done. I think
:07:43. > :07:47.that the sky is the limit. Definitely. I have to say, you look
:07:48. > :07:51.very fresh. Have you had a shower yet, have you been home? I have had
:07:52. > :07:59.a shower but I haven't had any sleep. You all look superb.
:08:00. > :08:04.Brilliant. Well, we've got 30 medallists with us from boxy,
:08:05. > :08:09.hockey, sailing, kayaking and rugby and of course we are going to hear
:08:10. > :08:13.about the highs and lows -- boxing. And the four years of training
:08:14. > :08:17.leading up to the Olympics. First it is only right, shall we do it one
:08:18. > :08:24.more time, shall we look at some more golden moments? Here we go.
:08:25. > :08:31.COMMENTATOR: He is bringing it home, this is brilliant, he has
:08:32. > :08:35.obliterated the world record. Olympic champion, Adam Peaty of
:08:36. > :08:44.Great Britain. Joe Clarke of Great Britain is the Olympic champion. It
:08:45. > :08:49.is gold, pure gold, they've done it. It is a golden start for Great
:08:50. > :08:54.Britain. Great Britain, Glover and Stanning, they are history makers.
:08:55. > :08:59.They are the Olympic champions. It was never in doubt. Well done, Great
:09:00. > :09:06.Britain, from the gun to the tape, the entire way. The awesome foursome
:09:07. > :09:12.have done it. Out of this world. Historic moment for British sport as
:09:13. > :09:22.well. Max Whitlock, double Olympic champion. Justin Rose of Great
:09:23. > :09:28.Britain takes Olympic gold. Laura Trott is Britain's most successful
:09:29. > :09:34.female Olympian of all time. It's a golden hat-trick in Rio for Jason
:09:35. > :09:41.Kenny. Andy Murray is a double Olympic gold medallist. Giles Scott
:09:42. > :09:47.winning Great Britain's fifth Olympic gold-medal in the men's
:09:48. > :09:50.heavyweight class. A glorious golden double four Alistair Brownlee. Gold
:09:51. > :09:58.medal, Hannah Mills and Saskia Clarke. The Welsh wonder striking
:09:59. > :10:01.gold again. Nick Skelton, a big start, taking gold for Great
:10:02. > :10:11.Britain. Extraordinary performance. Great Britain, the history makers,
:10:12. > :10:17.the hockey history makers. Liam Heath, the most successful British
:10:18. > :10:21.Olympic paddler of all time. Nicola Adams with a triumphant roar, being
:10:22. > :10:27.crowned Olympic champion for the second successive time. Mo is going
:10:28. > :10:38.to get gold for Great Britain again. The double double, four Olympic gold
:10:39. > :10:43.medals. They can't get past Mo So many fantastic moments, but
:10:44. > :10:48.Friday nights, between Nick Skelton and these girls, the hockey girls, I
:10:49. > :10:55.was on the floor! Is so were many others. So emotional.
:10:56. > :10:58.Congratulations, Kate, as the captain, after 13 gruelling years
:10:59. > :11:03.you have got the gold, after bronze in London which was fantastic. You
:11:04. > :11:07.stepped on the plane not knowing how it was going to go, but you have
:11:08. > :11:11.stepped off having inspired many young girls. How different was
:11:12. > :11:16.stepping off the plane compared to when you got on? I was so emotional,
:11:17. > :11:21.it has been the most epic two weeks of our lives. We hope we have
:11:22. > :11:26.inspired youngsters and older people do go out and have a go. You
:11:27. > :11:32.absolutely have to. You got to carry the flag. Yeah. It was epic, the
:11:33. > :11:37.weather was truly British, rain and wind. We could see people with
:11:38. > :11:42.umbrellas and I thought hang on, this is supposed to be Rio. The
:11:43. > :11:47.Copacabana, what happened? It was good, standing with the flag,
:11:48. > :11:50.representing Team GB. Every athlete has done very well, whether you
:11:51. > :11:56.medal or not, everybody gave everything. Helen, you scored one of
:11:57. > :12:01.the winning penalties -- medal. How did you cope with the pressure? I
:12:02. > :12:08.don't know anything about hockey but I was on the edge of my sofa. Quite
:12:09. > :12:13.relieved it went in. I knew that if we got a couple of goals, then Maddy
:12:14. > :12:17.would save at least a couple of theirs. We had a shoot out
:12:18. > :12:21.competition against Dutch in the Europeans and I think they were a
:12:22. > :12:25.bit afraid going into the shoot at. Maddy, you had the best, it is
:12:26. > :12:31.written on your water bottle, the same thing that we have on the
:12:32. > :12:39.bottom of gin and tonics. What is it? Stay big? We can write that on
:12:40. > :12:45.it tonight. How do you relax in a penalty shoot out? You just keep
:12:46. > :12:48.looking at these guys, you forget about the millions of people
:12:49. > :12:52.watching and you just imagine you are back at Bish, doing the
:12:53. > :12:59.training. You train for those moments -- Bisham. Really confident
:13:00. > :13:04.going into it. Amazing because you didn't make the last Olympics, this
:13:05. > :13:08.is your first and you were absolutely great. A lot of girls
:13:09. > :13:15.will be interested in getting into a team like you guys. How do you go
:13:16. > :13:18.about it, what's the best way? Go to your local hockey, wherever the
:13:19. > :13:23.nearest place is, they can give you eight stick in your hand, get used
:13:24. > :13:28.to what it feels like -- a stick. That is what we did and now we are
:13:29. > :13:33.here with the ultimate around our necks, it is really that simple. You
:13:34. > :13:37.have got one. This is the thing, you have been together for so long, what
:13:38. > :13:42.is it going to be like when you finally say goodbye and go home?
:13:43. > :13:46.Really emotional, we were just saying that we don't know what to do
:13:47. > :13:50.with ourselves because we are used to being together 24-7 for the last
:13:51. > :13:56.three weeks and we won't know what to do. It will be so quiet! Speaking
:13:57. > :14:05.of quiet, I need to find out who is the lead singer because... Where is
:14:06. > :14:14.she? Someone is always in a chorus of singing "Free from desire!" Why
:14:15. > :14:19.that song? I don't know, the crowd were so good, we had so much family,
:14:20. > :14:24.they started it and one of the boyfriends had a drum and it became
:14:25. > :14:28.the song of that game and then the song of every night and then the
:14:29. > :14:33.song on the plane. It is a good chance. It is going to be the song
:14:34. > :14:39.of every reunion that you have, even when you are old! Because you are
:14:40. > :14:45.superstitious, that has to be your song for life now. Girls, thank you
:14:46. > :14:49.so much, it is a joy to have you with us. You have inspired so many
:14:50. > :14:54.young girls, and older ones actually! We are going to your Mac
:14:55. > :15:00.now. The water now, Saskia and Hannah, silver in 2012, can you
:15:01. > :15:06.believe you are in London with a gold medal? -- going to Iwan. By
:15:07. > :15:13.donor when it will sink in. It isn't a dream -- I don't know when it will
:15:14. > :15:17.sink in. It is an adrenaline rush, being on the plane and seeing our
:15:18. > :15:23.families again that we have missed for a month, it is so amazing, I
:15:24. > :15:27.can't begin to describe it. In Rio, how did you get up for the last day,
:15:28. > :15:28.you knew that as long as you didn't sink, you were gold medallists, how
:15:29. > :15:39.did you prepare? Hanna checked the boat about 20
:15:40. > :15:45.times. We just went through the normal routine. We just had to go
:15:46. > :15:54.out and do it and get through the race. Luckily it was great. Well
:15:55. > :16:00.done, everyone. Brilliant. And a man who had big shoes to fill, my heart
:16:01. > :16:09.was in my mouth, after the first day you were in 17th place of 23. What
:16:10. > :16:15.went wrong? I just had a shocker on that first race. Fortunately I had
:16:16. > :16:22.another and I pulled my socks up and ended up winning. If anyone wants to
:16:23. > :16:26.get into sailing at home, what can they do? There are local sailing
:16:27. > :16:32.club is all around the country, just find one of those. There are many
:16:33. > :16:37.beginners courses. It is a great sport, not that well known but give
:16:38. > :16:45.it a go. And do they have to be as tall as you are? No, you just met
:16:46. > :16:51.Hannah! Good point. Joe, for me your celebration was one of the best. On
:16:52. > :16:54.paper you were not meant to win? It is always good to defy the odds. We
:16:55. > :16:59.heard about your celebration, you have come back to London Olympic
:17:00. > :17:07.champion, and you will be walking through the town. I think it is
:17:08. > :17:12.sinking in, I have had a bit more time to get my head around it,
:17:13. > :17:17.finishing early on. Stepping off the plane was getting back to reality,
:17:18. > :17:24.the crowd reminding me what it was like to be on top of the podium
:17:25. > :17:30.again. Have you been having early nights? Obviously! Correct answer! I
:17:31. > :17:36.love the gym, how can I get shoulders like that! The strength
:17:37. > :17:40.programme, what we put into the programme, it is a crucial part of
:17:41. > :17:46.it. We have gone for strength to weight ratio. And you have come home
:17:47. > :17:51.with extra weight around your neck, two medals. You dream of it but
:17:52. > :17:56.having them hanging round your neck is just amazing. Is there enough
:17:57. > :18:04.time for me to get my shoulders big enough? I hope so.
:18:05. > :18:08.Back to you. Who can forget Adam Peaty's grandmother, she became
:18:09. > :18:13.famous watching her grandson become the 100 metre breaststroke champion.
:18:14. > :18:16.And what about the families of other Team GB members? We have been to
:18:17. > :18:24.meet some of those who watched from home.
:18:25. > :18:29.I'm the father of Jack Laugher. I did not go to Rio, my wife and
:18:30. > :18:34.daughter and her friends did. I preferred to be at home because I am
:18:35. > :18:41.quite nervous. I preferred to stay and watch it on the telly with our
:18:42. > :18:46.feed the dog. The first competition was Synchro, Jack and Chris
:18:47. > :18:51.together. It was something I looked forward to for four years. It
:18:52. > :18:56.suddenly hit me just how big this was. I just burst into tears. It was
:18:57. > :19:04.just all the pressure, the expectation that had built up over
:19:05. > :19:10.such a long time. It is gold for Jack and Chris! The memory of the
:19:11. > :19:16.whole event was seeing Jack kneeling down just in tears, pouring out of
:19:17. > :19:27.him. When he comes to CS he will be bringing medals. Our boys, Jack
:19:28. > :19:37.Colson! -- when he comes to see us. Jack calls them. Tonight all the
:19:38. > :19:44.family is here and so excited. I spoke to my daughter last night and
:19:45. > :19:59.asked how she was. A big moment, the semifinal. 50 seconds to decide. The
:20:00. > :20:07.headshot. Commiserations. I am in shock at the moment. It is OK, it is
:20:08. > :20:27.fine. We wanted gold but we will go for bronze. There she is! Cracking
:20:28. > :20:35.shot. There is another one. Very proud of the anchor. Now she is a
:20:36. > :20:45.bronze medallist in the Olympics. -- Bianca. My name is Meg Barker. In
:20:46. > :20:48.the lead up to the race I was more nervous than Eleanor. She seemed to
:20:49. > :20:54.handle it really well, just enjoying the experience. What an Olympic
:20:55. > :21:03.final we have on our hands. I watched Eleanor here in my house in
:21:04. > :21:10.Manchester. When it came on I was not relaxed, I was so scared! It is
:21:11. > :21:16.going to be a ride to glory. I could not sit still, I was pacing around
:21:17. > :21:21.the living room. My sister went up to the crowd and my family was
:21:22. > :21:25.there, I burst into tears. I never cry but I cried my eyes out. I just
:21:26. > :21:32.wanted to be there and celebrate with them.
:21:33. > :21:37.Seeing Eleanor on the podium getting the medal was surreal. It was 12
:21:38. > :21:40.years ago this week we had our first session together and never thought
:21:41. > :21:45.it would be like this. We just did it for fun. I have never seen her
:21:46. > :21:51.smile like that, I could tell how happy she was. It makes sense that
:21:52. > :21:55.the supportive friends and families were key as well as the hard work,
:21:56. > :22:03.obviously, to the success of Team GB. Jazz Carlin, congratulations.
:22:04. > :22:08.You paid tribute to your father, saying he started you off when you
:22:09. > :22:13.were little. What age was that? As soon as I could get in the water,
:22:14. > :22:19.from a baby, I was never afraid. He used to take me every week. So I
:22:20. > :22:24.have a lot to thank him for. And your mum and dad managed to make it
:22:25. > :22:29.over to support you. Was it more or less pressure to have them there? I
:22:30. > :22:34.always like to see them in the stands, my dad always raised in a
:22:35. > :22:39.Rangers shirt! It is nice knowing that they're there. They have been
:22:40. > :22:44.there throughout Myhill career. And your dad take some credit, he said
:22:45. > :22:52.it was his lucky shirt that did it! It was definitely not! He can get
:22:53. > :22:57.rid of that! And fact of the day, your mum cannot actually swim. My
:22:58. > :23:01.mum doesn't like swimming, she has never been comfortable in the water.
:23:02. > :23:07.On holiday I tried to get her in but she's not a big fan, it was my dad
:23:08. > :23:13.who got me into swimming. You have trained so hard, what was the food
:23:14. > :23:19.that you dream does after all that? I'm missing my mum and cooking, I
:23:20. > :23:25.just a nice home roast dinner. As soon as I finished completing it was
:23:26. > :23:33.onto the pizza and ice cream. All the people in Swansea are thrilled.
:23:34. > :23:41.Thank you so much. Now then, most decorated Yorkshiremen, Ed. It is
:23:42. > :23:46.nice to know. You said you could not believe it that you were mobbed when
:23:47. > :23:51.you got off the plane a few days ago. When you're out there was it a
:23:52. > :23:56.bit like being in a bubble? Absolutely, you have no idea what is
:23:57. > :24:01.going on back home. You just get an inkling, people saying well done on
:24:02. > :24:06.Twitter. You kind of expected at the home Olympics, in London. Out there
:24:07. > :24:12.Eurojust in a bubble and have no idea. As soon as I got off the
:24:13. > :24:16.flight there were 30 paparazzi. It is something we never experienced
:24:17. > :24:22.before. Well you will get no peace now, all these people are going to
:24:23. > :24:29.follow you! Your heroes! Now rugby, no one expected this result.
:24:30. > :24:36.Brilliant. Silver. You did so well against Argentina, and against South
:24:37. > :24:41.Africa. My husband is New Zealand, can you imagine. But your parents
:24:42. > :24:45.were there. I was lucky, my mum and dad, my sister and girlfriend and a
:24:46. > :24:53.few mates were out as well, great travelling support. It was pretty
:24:54. > :24:56.awesome having them. And your girlfriend, or fiancee, was eight
:24:57. > :25:01.months pregnant. Were you not worried that the silver would bring
:25:02. > :25:07.on an early baby! Just a bit! With that Argentina match going to extra
:25:08. > :25:12.time. She said if I go into labour it is your fault! She was happy for
:25:13. > :25:18.me but also panicking a bit at the same time. A silver medal and
:25:19. > :25:23.shortly a baby, what a month for you! And Phil, you have already had
:25:24. > :25:29.a party thrown for you in Loughborough. What was it like to
:25:30. > :25:32.stand on the podium and still hear the national anthem? It was a
:25:33. > :25:37.surreal experience. We talked about at the whole time, what we wanted to
:25:38. > :25:42.aim for, but getting up there, I was lost for words and I still am. I
:25:43. > :25:45.cannot really see it was a great experience, it was phenomenal,
:25:46. > :25:50.getting to sing the national anthem and all that, just to think this is
:25:51. > :25:56.really incredible and I loved every minute. The boys would agree that
:25:57. > :26:04.everyone has done a sterling job. Beyond brilliant. And Patrick is
:26:05. > :26:12.with the boxers, also doing a sterling job. The safest man in the
:26:13. > :26:21.UK standing beside the GB boxers! Come on! We have got Nicola, Josh,
:26:22. > :26:29.and Joel. Nicola, what an amazing achievement. Has it sunk in, first
:26:30. > :26:34.British boxer to win back-to-back in 92 years, double Olympic champion.
:26:35. > :26:39.You are now back home, how does it feel? It feels amazing. It has been
:26:40. > :26:47.a long four years and it has been tough. I had a shoulder operation,
:26:48. > :26:52.ankle injury, and in the past five months I became European, world and
:26:53. > :26:56.double Olympic champion. So I completed the Grand Slam titles. The
:26:57. > :27:06.most accomplished amateur boxer in Britain that we have ever had.
:27:07. > :27:09.Whenever we see you, we saw you in 2012 as Olympic champion and we just
:27:10. > :27:15.assumed that you would go to defend the title but it was really tough.
:27:16. > :27:19.It was really tough, the girl I was competing against in the finals was
:27:20. > :27:23.a three-time world champion. The girl in the semifinals was a
:27:24. > :27:28.five-time world champion and Olympic silver medallist. I had some tough
:27:29. > :27:33.competitions. I just have got that desire and will to win and I work
:27:34. > :27:43.hard in the gym, I listen to the coaches, and never give up. Guys,
:27:44. > :27:51.were you watching when Nicola won a match? Josh, you're the first in the
:27:52. > :27:56.team to take a home. It was pressure off, but the support was great. When
:27:57. > :28:00.Nicola was boxing we were all screaming our heads. All supporting
:28:01. > :28:07.each other. Overall the team spirit was good. I'm not the only one in
:28:08. > :28:15.the country, but I think that Joe was robbed. You landed some many
:28:16. > :28:20.punches. These statistics do not like, I put 110% in and thought I
:28:21. > :28:26.would get the nod at the end. But it wasn't to be. The good thing is that
:28:27. > :28:36.you're guaranteed a ticker tape through London. Who is your trainer?
:28:37. > :28:47.Sadiq Khan. They will put a word in and you are -- you will have your
:28:48. > :28:52.ticker tape reception. Sounds good! And what other for tonight? You
:28:53. > :29:11.don't have to make the wait any more. -- weight. A few drinks. Helen
:29:12. > :29:20.Glover, you do find it your London title but you were quite late to the
:29:21. > :29:24.sport? -- you defended in London title. I had never tried rowing
:29:25. > :29:31.before and they tested my fitness and looked at my height and put me
:29:32. > :29:34.into it. You're not the tallest. I'm quite small for this board, it takes
:29:35. > :29:42.all shapes and sizes, anyone could have a go. Karen, this young lady is
:29:43. > :29:50.getting married soon. You'll attended a hen do in Brazil, any
:29:51. > :29:53.gossip? We had it all well organised, everything planned out
:29:54. > :29:59.and someone forgot all the Games in the taxi. So we had to make them up
:30:00. > :30:07.on the spot. One of those was when you say a vegetable without showing
:30:08. > :30:11.your teeth. I'm not going to do it! Then every time a waiter came over
:30:12. > :30:20.with were saying, here is the stripper! But there was none. Well
:30:21. > :30:29.done, the first team in history to come back with a medal. Matthew, you
:30:30. > :30:33.are Polly's boyfriend, she got silver medal before you, did you
:30:34. > :30:37.feel pressured to bring back the gold? Luckily we were on the water
:30:38. > :30:43.at the time and had no idea how they were getting on. We saw them at the
:30:44. > :30:47.start and they got off slowly, but we focused on our own race. I only
:30:48. > :30:53.found out what happened later. It was nice to see them over on the
:30:54. > :31:01.podium. And did anyone lose a forfeit? She has got to do the
:31:02. > :31:07.house-cleaning for the next year! I'm not allowed, I always do a bad
:31:08. > :31:17.job! Well you do a great job for Great Britain, well done. You're all
:31:18. > :31:23.big lads. The average man, how much do you eat? Last count was about
:31:24. > :31:38.6000 calories on an average day. We do put it away. The Cox also eats a
:31:39. > :31:45.lot. You eat and drink a lot, you either party animals! Well done out
:31:46. > :31:52.there. Fantastic. Thanks to all our Olympic heroes. And good luck to all
:31:53. > :31:54.the Paralympians in the next couple of weeks. I'm going out there too.
:31:55. > :31:57.What a show it has been tonight. I'll be heading to Edinburgh
:31:58. > :32:00.for a series of shows from the Festival, where we'll be
:32:01. > :32:02.bringing you an exclusive look A proper divorce is built on
:32:03. > :32:22.a solid foundation of hate. A proper divorce is built on
:32:23. > :32:28.a solid foundation of hate.
