0:02:42 > 0:02:47TOGETHER: This is the story of Esmeralda the Snake.

0:02:47 > 0:02:53Esmeralda the Snake lived in a burrow in a sandy hill

0:02:53 > 0:02:57where the desert meets the jungle.

0:02:57 > 0:03:03Esmeralda was very house-proud. She was always tidying up.

0:03:09 > 0:03:13On the other side of the jungle, in another burrow,

0:03:13 > 0:03:16lived Herbert the Warthog.

0:03:17 > 0:03:20Herbert was not so tidy.

0:03:20 > 0:03:23HE BURPS

0:03:24 > 0:03:30One day, the big rains came to the savannah.

0:03:30 > 0:03:33It rained, and rained, and rained.

0:03:41 > 0:03:46By the time the rains stopped, Herbert's home was flooded.

0:03:46 > 0:03:48Oh!

0:03:48 > 0:03:53I'll have to go and stay with a friend.

0:03:58 > 0:04:01- Hey, Herbert!- Oh!

0:04:01 > 0:04:07- What's up, Warthog?- Ah, Giggles, Tickles - I was looking for you.

0:04:07 > 0:04:12You see, my house has been flooded and I've got nowhere to stay.

0:04:12 > 0:04:18- Could I...?- Of course! You can stay with us as long as you like.

0:04:18 > 0:04:21Just climb up and get comfortable.

0:04:24 > 0:04:30'It was then that Herbert discovered something.'

0:04:30 > 0:04:33I'm scared of heights!

0:04:33 > 0:04:36Oh!

0:04:36 > 0:04:42Herbert couldn't stay with us, so he kept on looking for somewhere to go.

0:04:44 > 0:04:50- It looks like I'll have to get used to being homeless.- Hello, Herbert!

0:04:50 > 0:04:55Oh! Hello, Esmeralda. That's a nice burrow you've got there.

0:04:55 > 0:04:59Yes, I'm lucky. It's warm and dry.

0:04:59 > 0:05:02We've had such a lot of rain lately.

0:05:02 > 0:05:07Tell me about it. My home has been washed away. I have nowhere to stay.

0:05:29 > 0:05:33Make yourself at home.

0:05:33 > 0:05:35Oh.

0:05:35 > 0:05:41Esmeralda was already regretting offering Herbert a place to live.

0:05:41 > 0:05:46So she decided to go over a few house rules.

0:05:46 > 0:05:52Most importantly, you mustn't touch my collection of neat things.

0:05:52 > 0:05:55Wouldn't dream of it.

0:05:55 > 0:05:59I'll just fetch a few essentials.

0:06:02 > 0:06:07- Herbert!- Esmeralda, don't be such an old fusspot.

0:07:27 > 0:07:33Who are you calling a wiggly worm? My lovely house is in a mess.

0:08:03 > 0:08:06Esmeralda went to sleep.

0:08:06 > 0:08:12She didn't hear the big sandstorm blowing in from the desert.

0:08:12 > 0:08:15It blew, and blew, and blew,

0:08:15 > 0:08:18until it blew away Esmeralda's home.

0:08:27 > 0:08:32Now Esmeralda was homeless, too. SHE SIGHS

0:08:38 > 0:08:43- What are you doing here? - The big wind blew away my home.

0:09:55 > 0:09:58'one for Herbert's messy things,

0:09:58 > 0:10:02'and one that was half-neat and half-messy,

0:10:02 > 0:10:09'where they could have fun together and invite lots of friends.'

0:10:10 > 0:10:15And so Herbert the Warthog and Esmeralda the Snake
