0:01:15 > 0:01:17Hello. I'm Andy.

0:01:17 > 0:01:20I work in the dinosaur gallery of the National Museum.

0:01:20 > 0:01:23Hatty's working on a brand-new display

0:01:23 > 0:01:26all about dinosaurs that lived 145 million years ago.

0:01:26 > 0:01:31She's asked me to bring this box, but said to be extra careful.

0:01:31 > 0:01:34Hatty, I've got the box you asked for.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37Don't worry. I've been very careful with it.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40That's a small skeleton!

0:01:41 > 0:01:45- I see you're admiring my Allosaurus. - Allosaurus.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48A magnificent little fellow.

0:01:48 > 0:01:51It was one of the deadliest dinosaurs in North America.

0:01:51 > 0:01:56Not as big as Tyrannosaurus rex but he had much longer arms,

0:01:56 > 0:02:00deadly teeth and a jaw that opened very wide.

0:02:01 > 0:02:06- Really? He seems a bit too small though.- That's cos he's a baby,

0:02:06 > 0:02:10but his mum and dad would have been almost ten metres long.

0:02:10 > 0:02:15- That's about the same size as a lorry.- He was quick, too.

0:02:15 > 0:02:17Sounds like a deadly hunter.

0:02:17 > 0:02:21He would have eaten anything he could sink his jagged teeth into.

0:02:21 > 0:02:24What about the babies? What did they eat?

0:02:24 > 0:02:27Now, that's where the box comes in.

0:02:27 > 0:02:29# La-da-da. #

0:02:33 > 0:02:34- Ready?- Ready.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40- A dragonfly.- That's right.

0:02:40 > 0:02:44Baby Allosaurus ate dragonflies, so I thought I'd put this little

0:02:44 > 0:02:48beauty in that box to show what the baby Allosaurus ate.

0:02:51 > 0:02:55I didn't realise dragonflies lived in the time of the dinosaurs.

0:02:55 > 0:02:58They've been around for hundreds of millions of years.

0:02:58 > 0:03:03The first dragonflies were so big that their wings were half a metre

0:03:03 > 0:03:07- from tip to tip.- So they really did look like giant flying dragons.- Yes.

0:03:07 > 0:03:13But by the time of Allosaurus they were small, just like this one...

0:03:13 > 0:03:17- wherever it is. - What's the matter?- It's gone.

0:03:18 > 0:03:22- Oh!- Oh, no. - It must be around here somewhere.

0:03:22 > 0:03:25I'm not too sure, Hatty.

0:03:31 > 0:03:36- Dragonfly!- Hatty, I'm sorry. I think it's gone.

0:03:36 > 0:03:40What are we going to do? The museum opens soon and I wanted to put

0:03:40 > 0:03:44the dragonfly in the box to show what the baby Allosaurus ate.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47- Don't worry, I'll sort it out. - There's no time.

0:03:47 > 0:03:48CLOCK CHIMES

0:03:50 > 0:03:52SCREECHING

0:03:54 > 0:03:56I'll make time.
