0:03:36 > 0:03:40- So, how do they keep warm in the wild?- All sorts of ways, Kip.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Some animals lay in the sun to keep warm, like lizards.

0:03:43 > 0:03:47There are some animals that ruffle their feathers, like birds,

0:03:47 > 0:03:49and there's even a clever monkey that lives in a place

0:03:49 > 0:03:52that's freezing cold, and the way it keeps warm

0:03:52 > 0:03:55is by taking a nice warm bath.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57Monkeys having baths!

0:03:57 > 0:04:00- You know what this sounds like, don't you?- I certainly do, Kip.

0:05:18 > 0:05:23- Ha-ha!- Woo! We're in space!

0:05:23 > 0:05:25So, where to, Andy?

0:05:25 > 0:05:29The mountains of Japan, Kip! That's where we'll find the snow monkeys.

0:05:29 > 0:05:34Then Japan it is! Go Cat-Nav, go! Waa!

0:05:34 > 0:05:37Whoo-hoo-hoo! Yeah.

0:05:41 > 0:05:47Wow! Those are beautiful mountains!

0:05:47 > 0:05:51They're called the Japanese Alps, and they're full of animals.

0:05:51 > 0:05:55By the way, these snow monkeys -

0:05:55 > 0:05:57they're not dangerous, are they?

0:05:57 > 0:06:01Well, if you get them cross, maybe. If you get too close to them

0:06:01 > 0:06:03and they don't know you. Nah, you'll be fine!

0:06:03 > 0:06:06Right. Well, er...

0:06:06 > 0:06:10Hey, I've got a great idea!

0:06:10 > 0:06:13Why don't we land here and you go on alone?

0:06:13 > 0:06:16Oh, well don't you want to see the snow monkeys?

0:06:16 > 0:06:21Of course but, er, but, well, I was just worried

0:06:21 > 0:06:23that the engine might freeze

0:06:23 > 0:06:26and then we wouldn't be able to get back.

0:06:26 > 0:06:28All right, Kip. No problem.

0:06:28 > 0:06:32Right, well, then, I guess we'd better laa-and!

0:06:42 > 0:06:46Right, Kip. Time for me to go.

0:06:46 > 0:06:50- OK. But call me if you need anything. - I will.

0:06:50 > 0:06:53- Oh, and, Andy?- Yeah?

0:06:53 > 0:06:56- Be careful.- Ah, I always am, Kip!

0:07:07 > 0:07:10This is the life. Out in the wilderness with lovely fresh air!

0:07:10 > 0:07:15Now all I've got to do is find some snow monkeys.

0:07:15 > 0:07:20Snow monkeys, where are you?

0:07:21 > 0:07:23I think I've found them!

0:07:23 > 0:07:27Hey, you cheeky monkey, stop monkeying around, I'm cold enough.

0:07:27 > 0:07:30Look, can you stop throwing snowballs and show me

0:07:30 > 0:07:32where the hot springs are?

0:07:32 > 0:07:34Oo, that worked, they're off.

0:07:34 > 0:07:38Oh, I guess I follow them now. Hang on!

0:07:38 > 0:07:42Hah, those monkeys really are cheeky.

0:07:42 > 0:07:44And they're really good at throwing.

0:07:44 > 0:07:46Ah!

0:07:47 > 0:07:48Ah!

0:07:51 > 0:07:53Look at that fox!

0:07:53 > 0:07:56All these animals in the snow. Brrr!

0:07:56 > 0:08:00And they're not even cold. Brrrr!

0:08:05 > 0:08:09Well, now I'm really, really cold. But look!

0:08:09 > 0:08:11I've found the hot spring...

0:08:12 > 0:08:15..with lots of snow monkeys in it!

0:08:15 > 0:08:19This is exactly what I wanted to show you!

0:08:19 > 0:08:23Time to get these off and join them for a dip!

0:08:32 > 0:08:34Aw!

0:08:42 > 0:08:46All right, good to see you. Nice, hello.

0:08:47 > 0:08:49Oh, that's better.

0:08:49 > 0:08:52There's nothing like being in a nice hot spring

0:08:52 > 0:08:56to warm you up on a snowy and cold day.

0:08:56 > 0:08:59Ah! Ho, ho.

0:08:59 > 0:09:03Oh, look at her! It's so warm in here that her face has turned pink!

0:09:03 > 0:09:07Oh, I forgot, I don't want to attract their attention

0:09:07 > 0:09:11because they can get quite grumpy with strangers. Ahem!

0:09:11 > 0:09:12I know.

0:09:12 > 0:09:15I'm going to do what they do and try fit in.

0:09:15 > 0:09:17Right, OK.

0:09:17 > 0:09:21Now, to show that they like each other,

0:09:21 > 0:09:23they groom each other's fur,

0:09:23 > 0:09:27which means picking the bugs from their fur and eating them.

0:09:27 > 0:09:30Er, but I'm not going to eat mine, no. Anybody?

0:09:30 > 0:09:33Fancy a bug?

0:09:33 > 0:09:34How's it going, Andy?

0:09:34 > 0:09:37Ah, it's going really well, Kip.

0:09:37 > 0:09:39I'm in a hot spring right now,

0:09:39 > 0:09:42monkeying around with the snow monkeys. Take a look!

0:09:47 > 0:09:49What do they eat, Andy?

0:09:49 > 0:09:53They eat lots of the same foods that we eat - fruit, berries, seeds.

0:09:53 > 0:09:56In fact, that's why they're going under the water,

0:09:56 > 0:10:00to eat the seeds that have landed in the pool and sunk to the bottom.

0:10:00 > 0:10:03And I'd show you them doing it but I don't really want

0:10:03 > 0:10:05to take my eyes off these guys.

0:10:05 > 0:10:08Just in case they get a bit grumpy whilst I'm under the water.

0:10:08 > 0:10:13You could always use the possibly perfect peeking pipe.

0:10:13 > 0:10:15Of course!

0:10:16 > 0:10:19Um, I'm just going to...

0:10:19 > 0:10:21Right, so round here somewhere...

0:10:21 > 0:10:25Oh, there it is. Ah, ha!

0:10:29 > 0:10:32Ha, ha. Because of Kip, now I can see

0:10:32 > 0:10:36what the macaques are doing above the water and...

0:10:36 > 0:10:39below the water, too!

0:10:39 > 0:10:42Like this guy!

0:10:42 > 0:10:46Wow, Kip, this is even better than I expected.
