0:00:51 > 0:00:55We have a very interesting bird over here, spoonbill.

0:00:55 > 0:00:59They're called spoonbills due to the shape of their bills -

0:00:59 > 0:01:00they're like spoons.

0:01:00 > 0:01:04Are you saying I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth?

0:01:52 > 0:01:54Oh! Hello, Andy.

0:01:54 > 0:01:57Kip, what are you doing with my gizmo?

0:01:57 > 0:02:01Well, you know how sometimes things get a bit smelly on our adventures?

0:02:01 > 0:02:02Yes...?

0:02:02 > 0:02:06I thought that I might make a few tweaks to your gizmo.

0:02:06 > 0:02:08Oh, great.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11"Tweaks"? Hang on a minute, what kind of tweaks?

0:02:11 > 0:02:14If you smell something a bit pongy,

0:02:14 > 0:02:19then all you have to do is activate the super sweet-smelling sensor

0:02:19 > 0:02:22- and then there'll be no more nasty smells.- Brilliant.

0:02:22 > 0:02:25Yeah, now all I need to do is test it.

0:02:25 > 0:02:28So, er, what have you been doing?

0:02:28 > 0:02:30I've been to see the water birds

0:02:30 > 0:02:33to make sure they have everything they need.

0:02:33 > 0:02:36Oh. I guess water birds can't be that smelly

0:02:36 > 0:02:39if they've been swimming in the water.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42Well, some of the water birds swim on top of the water,

0:02:42 > 0:02:46- but there are some that like walking.- Walking?

0:02:46 > 0:02:47In the shallow water.

0:02:47 > 0:02:51And there's this one bird that dives under the water

0:02:51 > 0:02:53and swims with the fish.

0:02:53 > 0:02:58- Really?- Yup. The bird that I'm talking about is called a gannet

0:02:58 > 0:03:00and they're fantastic at fishing.

0:03:00 > 0:03:04What they do is that they fly high in the sky over the ocean,

0:03:04 > 0:03:06looking for fish.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09When they spot the fish, they dive right into the water

0:03:09 > 0:03:12and swim under the water, chasing the fish.

0:03:12 > 0:03:17A bird that dives into the water and swims like a school of fish,

0:03:17 > 0:03:18I'd love to see that!

0:03:18 > 0:03:23- What are we waiting for, Kip? - BOTH: Time to go on a wild adventure.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26We'll see them going headfirst into the water

0:03:26 > 0:03:27and swimming like fish!

0:03:27 > 0:03:32- We can test my super sweet-smelling sensor.- Come on, let's go!- Yeah!

0:04:39 > 0:04:42- So where to, Andy?- South Africa, Kip.

0:04:42 > 0:04:47That's where gannets go high-diving into huge schools of fish.

0:04:47 > 0:04:51Right, then South Africa, here we come. Go, cat nav, go!

0:04:51 > 0:04:54Whoa-ho-ho-ho-hooooo!

0:05:00 > 0:05:04- Ah, this is what it's all about, Kip.- Ah, yeah.

0:05:08 > 0:05:12We're looking for the lush, green cliffs of South Africa.

0:05:12 > 0:05:16Oh. Well, in that case, I think we've found them.

0:05:20 > 0:05:24Whoa, there are loads of them! Going to make landing tricky.

0:05:24 > 0:05:27Ah, let's see, where...?

0:05:27 > 0:05:29Oh! There's a spot!

0:05:30 > 0:05:35- Ah! Well, this is better. - Perfect landing, Kip.- Thanks, Andy.

0:05:35 > 0:05:38Right, it's time to be on our way.

0:05:38 > 0:05:42I should probably stay behind to make sure that...er...

0:05:42 > 0:05:45oh, those waves don't soak the Kipmobile.

0:05:45 > 0:05:49After all, we don't want to get any salty water in the engine now, do we?

0:05:49 > 0:05:52Of course not. That wouldn't be good.

0:05:52 > 0:05:56No. But don't let that stop you from going, Andy.

0:05:56 > 0:05:59- Oh, don't worry Kip, it won't. - KIP LAUGHS

0:06:27 > 0:06:30Wow! That's an awful lot of birds!

0:06:30 > 0:06:32Yep, that's right, Kip.

0:06:32 > 0:06:35And I tell you what, it's really quite stinky here.

0:06:35 > 0:06:37Phwoar!

0:06:37 > 0:06:39'Why does it smell so bad?'

0:06:39 > 0:06:42It's because of the stinky fish they eat, Kip.

0:06:42 > 0:06:44The smell is really strong!

0:06:44 > 0:06:50I know, Andy! Why don't you use my super sweet-smelling sensor?

0:06:50 > 0:06:54Good idea! You're a genius, Kip. See you later.

0:06:54 > 0:06:57Those waves may be pretty big,
