0:01:07 > 0:01:10car aerials and even windscreen wipers.

0:01:10 > 0:01:12And it's not very healthy for them,

0:02:22 > 0:02:26- Hello, Kip!- Oh! Hi, Andy!

0:02:28 > 0:02:32What's this you're making? Looks like some kind of flying saucer.

0:02:32 > 0:02:36Oh, it isn't a flying saucer, Andy.

0:02:36 > 0:02:39It's my perfectly portable pressure cooker.

0:02:39 > 0:02:43- If you lift up the lid...- Right. - You put the food in there...- OK.

0:02:43 > 0:02:47And then you close the lid, press the button, it cooks the food,

0:02:47 > 0:02:50and before you know it, you've got a delicious meal.

0:02:50 > 0:02:53- Cool!- It's the perfect fast food. - Can we try it?

0:02:53 > 0:02:55I could do with some food at the moment.

0:02:55 > 0:02:57We need to go food shopping.

0:02:57 > 0:03:00There isn't anything to put in it just yet.

0:03:00 > 0:03:02All right. We'll try it later.

0:03:02 > 0:03:03So, what have you been up to?

0:03:03 > 0:03:07This morning, I've been feeding the rhesus monkeys.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10- Lots of monkey nuts, then?- Sometimes.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13But they also eat fruit and even dog biscuits.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15DOG biscuits?!

0:03:15 > 0:03:19But surely they wouldn't find dog biscuits in the wild?

0:03:19 > 0:03:22No, Kip! Not in the wild!

0:03:22 > 0:03:25No, monkeys eat lots of different things in the wild.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28Rhesus monkeys, well, they eat leaves and roots.

0:03:28 > 0:03:33Marmosets eat spiders and lizards.

0:03:33 > 0:03:38In fact, there's even one type of monkey that eats mussels.

0:03:38 > 0:03:40Oh! You mean muscles like mine?

0:03:40 > 0:03:42GROWLS AND GROANS

0:03:47 > 0:03:48Erm... Not quite like those.

0:03:48 > 0:03:51The mussels I'm talking about are the ones that you find on a beach

0:03:51 > 0:03:53and they're inside a shell.

0:03:53 > 0:03:56Oh! THOSE kind of mussels!

0:03:56 > 0:03:59- Oh, I LOVE them!- Yeah, so do I.

0:03:59 > 0:04:03In Africa, there's a group of monkeys called Chacma baboons.

0:04:03 > 0:04:06They live by the sea. And when the tide goes out,

0:04:06 > 0:04:09they go over to the rocks and they search for the mussels.

0:04:09 > 0:04:11When they find them, they open up the shells

0:04:11 > 0:04:13and pop them into their mouths.

0:04:13 > 0:04:15Oh, I'd love to see that!

0:04:15 > 0:04:17Then you know what this sounds like, don't you, Kip?

0:04:17 > 0:04:20- BOTH: - It's time to go on a wild adventure!

0:04:28 > 0:04:30Two, gizmo.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32Check.

0:04:32 > 0:04:36Three, my perfectly portable pressure cooker.

0:04:36 > 0:04:39- Check.- Just in case we need it.

0:04:39 > 0:04:43And last but not least, the Kipmobile.

0:04:43 > 0:04:44Seatbelts on!

0:04:46 > 0:04:48Hit it, Kip!

0:05:22 > 0:05:24Lift off!

0:05:29 > 0:05:31Ahhh... Ha-ha-ha-ha!

0:05:31 > 0:05:34Woo-hoo-hoo! We're in space!

0:05:34 > 0:05:37So, where to, Andy?

0:05:37 > 0:05:39Right at the bottom of Africa, Kip.

0:05:39 > 0:05:42That's where we'll find our beachcombing Chacma baboons.

0:05:42 > 0:05:45Then Africa it is! Go, CatNav! Go!

0:05:45 > 0:05:48Woah!

0:06:00 > 0:06:04Perfect landing, Kip. Now, let's go and find ourselves some baboons.

0:06:04 > 0:06:07Ooh, I can't wait to see them eating mussels!

0:06:07 > 0:06:09And looking for mermaid's purses.

0:06:09 > 0:06:11- MERMAIDS purses?- Yeah.

0:06:11 > 0:06:15Don't worry. They're not really purses belonging to mermaids.

0:06:15 > 0:06:19- Aren't they?- It's a special pouch that protects a shark's egg.

0:06:19 > 0:06:21Then, when the tide gets really low,

0:06:21 > 0:06:26like it is now, the Chacma baboons come over to the water's edge

0:06:26 > 0:06:29and then they search for the eggs to eat.

0:06:29 > 0:06:32Now, if we're quick, we should be able to spot some.

0:06:32 > 0:06:34Actually, you know what, Andy?

0:06:34 > 0:06:38I think I might just stay with the Kipmobile. After all, if the...

0:06:38 > 0:06:41Oh! If the tide turns, the Kipmobile might just float away. Yeah!

0:06:41 > 0:06:46Kip, I don't think the water's going to come all the way up here.

0:06:46 > 0:06:49Well, you never know, do you?

0:06:49 > 0:06:51LAUGHS

0:06:51 > 0:06:53- But be careful!- Thanks, Kip. I will.

0:06:56 > 0:07:00Where there are sharks' eggs, there are sharks!

0:07:00 > 0:07:02And the last thing I want to see is a shark!

0:07:02 > 0:07:05But a mermaid, that's different.

0:07:07 > 0:07:10I wonder if there are any actually out there?

0:07:13 > 0:07:16Mermaids! Where are you?

0:07:23 > 0:07:25Woa-ho-ho!

0:07:28 > 0:07:32These baboons are tucking in to a tasty shellfish dinner.

0:07:32 > 0:07:37Inside these hard shells are little creatures called mussels.

0:07:37 > 0:07:38Now, when the tide goes out,

0:07:38 > 0:07:41you can find lots of mussels sticking to the rock.

0:07:41 > 0:07:44They grow in clumps, too, to protect themselves

0:07:44 > 0:07:47from the powerful waves that come crashing down.

0:07:47 > 0:07:51But there's one thing that they can't protect themselves from...

0:07:51 > 0:07:53These guys.

0:07:53 > 0:07:55Baboons. They LOVE eating mussels.

0:07:55 > 0:07:58With their powerful jaws and sharp teeth,

0:07:58 > 0:08:04they find it easy to crack into the shell and eat the tasty food inside.

0:08:08 > 0:08:12And baboons aren't the only ones who like eating mussels.

0:08:12 > 0:08:15No. We do, too. Humans.

0:08:15 > 0:08:18But we have two cook ours, which is a shame, really,

0:08:18 > 0:08:20cos I'm really hungry.

0:08:23 > 0:08:27Hang on a minute! I know! Oo-hoo!

0:08:31 > 0:08:34Kip's perfectly portable pressure cooker! Of course!

0:08:34 > 0:08:37This'll cook them in a jiffy.

0:08:37 > 0:08:40Ahh!

0:08:40 > 0:08:44Now to find me some mussels. Ah-ha!

0:08:53 > 0:08:55WHISTLES

0:08:55 > 0:08:56Hiya.

0:09:04 > 0:09:07WHISTLES

0:09:07 > 0:09:09Look at how many mussels I found on the beach!

0:09:09 > 0:09:12There are thousands of mussels on the beach,

0:09:12 > 0:09:16so I'm sure it'll be fine if I just take a few for my tea.

0:09:16 > 0:09:17Yeah?

0:09:17 > 0:09:21So, what I have to do, to use Kip's perfectly portable pressure cooker,

0:09:21 > 0:09:25is to close it, press this button...

0:09:25 > 0:09:26and then wait for it to go "ping".

0:09:28 > 0:09:31Something missing here. Hang on.

0:09:31 > 0:09:33Ah! That's better!

0:09:33 > 0:09:36Don't worry. I've got something for you.

0:09:36 > 0:09:40Oh! Sorry. I think your mates must have eaten them.

0:09:40 > 0:09:41I'll leave them here.

0:09:41 > 0:09:43And whilst I'm waiting for this to go "ping",

0:09:43 > 0:09:46I'll go find some baboons eating sharks' eggs.

0:09:46 > 0:09:48See ya!

0:09:56 > 0:10:01Look! I found a mermaid's purse!

0:10:01 > 0:10:04But not before the baboons have got to it.

0:10:04 > 0:10:06Look, they've split it in two

0:10:06 > 0:10:09and taken the shark's egg from inside.

0:10:09 > 0:10:12You're a hungry fella.

0:10:12 > 0:10:14Hi, Andy! How's it going? Is everything OK?

0:10:16 > 0:10:17Everything's perfect, Kip.

0:10:17 > 0:10:20'Now the tide is really low,

0:10:20 > 0:10:22'the baboons are able to get to the sharks' eggs.

0:10:22 > 0:10:28'The only thing is, they have to get them out the seaweed first. Look!'

0:10:30 > 0:10:32They're full of protein, just like the eggs we eat.

0:10:32 > 0:10:35Except these ones are bright pink inside.

0:10:35 > 0:10:39Wow! That's an amazing colour!

0:10:40 > 0:10:42'Ah! It's exactly what I wanted to see!'
