0:01:57 > 0:01:58Oh, he's not in.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01He's probably out...selling flats without telling people.

0:02:01 > 0:02:02I'll leave a message. VOICEMAIL BEEPS

0:02:02 > 0:02:05Hi, landlord, it's Ricky.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08You need to come over here immediately.

0:02:08 > 0:02:10Love you... I mean, no! Bye! Bye!

0:02:10 > 0:02:13There's no way I'm letting this place be sold!

0:02:13 > 0:02:15I really need to leave my mark on it.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18That gives me an idea! I'm going to make...

0:02:19 > 0:02:22..the Art Ninja 3D initial!

0:02:23 > 0:02:25All I need is a bunch of toys.

0:02:26 > 0:02:28Here's some of my old toys, that's handy.

0:02:28 > 0:02:31So, I've got a big piece of card here and I'm going to start

0:02:31 > 0:02:34by drawing out my initial, a nice big R.

0:02:36 > 0:02:38I'm going to go quite angular for mine.

0:02:38 > 0:02:40I'm using a ruler, but you can go freehand

0:02:40 > 0:02:42and make a nice bubble letter.

0:02:42 > 0:02:44There we are. Just cut that out.

0:02:48 > 0:02:51Now, I need to cut this bit out, so to get my scissors in there,

0:02:51 > 0:02:53I'm going to poke a hole with a pencil

0:02:53 > 0:02:56and put a bit of modelling clay down to protect the desk.

0:03:01 > 0:03:04OK, and now, using the modelling clay and the pencil again,

0:03:04 > 0:03:06I'm going to poke two holes,

0:03:06 > 0:03:08so I can tie some string in and hang it up later.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12Now I've cut myself some cardboard strips.

0:03:12 > 0:03:14They're about two centimetres in width

0:03:14 > 0:03:15and they're going to work as an edge,

0:03:15 > 0:03:18so when I start putting my toys inside the letter,

0:03:18 > 0:03:22they won't fall out and I'm sticking them on with some sticky tape.

0:03:33 > 0:03:36Now, most of the edges are on, it's starting to form its shape,

0:03:36 > 0:03:39it's becoming 3D. Now on to the middle bits.

0:03:46 > 0:03:47OK.

0:03:47 > 0:03:50This is going to need painting, but I'm not going to do that now,

0:03:50 > 0:03:52I'm going to use my Ninja skills.

0:03:52 > 0:03:53Yah!!

0:03:53 > 0:03:56There you go, painted it a nice aqua blue.

0:03:56 > 0:03:58Obviously, you can paint yours whatever colour you like.

0:03:58 > 0:04:00Now, it's time to start using the toys.

0:04:00 > 0:04:03I'm going to be sticking them down with some strong glue.

0:04:03 > 0:04:06Not only is this an R for Ricky, but these are all my toys,

0:04:06 > 0:04:09so it will really personalise it.

0:04:09 > 0:04:10I'm sticking down smaller objects first,

0:04:10 > 0:04:13so they can be seen through the larger objects.

0:04:13 > 0:04:14It'll give it greater depth.

0:04:18 > 0:04:21Ah, a little skateboard, I remember this.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23Yeah!

0:04:23 > 0:04:26I'm being careful to make sure the two holes

0:04:26 > 0:04:28that I made early are clear,

0:04:28 > 0:04:30so later on, it's easier to tie my ribbon.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32Get the cow in there.

0:04:35 > 0:04:40I'll just mo-o-o-ove this one a bit to make sure it sticks.

0:04:41 > 0:04:44Hiyah! Ho!

0:04:44 > 0:04:47And I "nose" where this is going to go.

0:04:49 > 0:04:51Squeeze it in there.

0:04:51 > 0:04:54Now that's dry, I'm ready to paint it.

0:04:54 > 0:04:56Got that same nice aqua blue from earlier.

0:04:59 > 0:05:00Getting in there.

0:05:04 > 0:05:05I don't want to use too much paint

0:05:05 > 0:05:08cos I want to maintain all the details of the toys.

0:05:08 > 0:05:11I want to use just enough to leave a nice solid colour.

0:05:16 > 0:05:19Just changing brush now. There you go, really getting in there.

0:05:23 > 0:05:25Right, I got all those hard-to-reach areas.

0:05:25 > 0:05:29Now, I could wait for this to dry, but not me. I'm a Ninja!

0:05:29 > 0:05:31There we go, check that out.

0:05:32 > 0:05:36All I need to do now, is tie on a bit of ribbon and hang it up.

0:05:36 > 0:05:39I'm using a nice bit of orange ribbon to complement the blue.

0:05:40 > 0:05:42Now, I can hang it up.

0:05:45 > 0:05:49There you go, that's definitely put a bit more me around this place,

0:05:49 > 0:05:50and it looks awesome.

0:05:55 > 0:05:57Instead of toys, you can use anything you like.

0:05:57 > 0:06:00Here's one for Sarah, made with old art supplies

0:06:00 > 0:06:02and complete with gold glitter.

0:06:02 > 0:06:04And another representing Gavin's interests

0:06:04 > 0:06:06that he can hang on his bedroom door.

0:06:06 > 0:06:09KNOCK AT DOOR

0:06:09 > 0:06:11That must be the landlord.

0:06:11 > 0:06:13I think you're going to love this place.

0:06:13 > 0:06:15Just let yourselves in, why don't you?

0:06:15 > 0:06:17As the advert says, it's bijoux,

0:06:17 > 0:06:20but as you can see, it's exciting and full of potential.

0:06:20 > 0:06:23This is the living room, perfect for living in.

0:06:23 > 0:06:24BOTH CHUCKLE

0:06:24 > 0:06:27I could really see myself living here, it's very me.

0:06:27 > 0:06:31Who are you guys? They look...strangely familiar.

0:06:31 > 0:06:34This old table. You're going to want to get rid of THIS monstrosity.

0:06:34 > 0:06:36Ugh, simply ghastly!

0:06:36 > 0:06:40- Yes, one will definitely be putting an offer in.- Splendid!

0:06:42 > 0:06:43That's it then...

0:06:43 > 0:06:44The end of an era.

0:06:44 > 0:06:46Ciao.

0:06:46 > 0:06:48I think I'll do some art to...

0:06:48 > 0:06:50cheer myself up.

0:06:52 > 0:06:55Here's a quick art tip of how to draw a laughing character.

0:06:55 > 0:06:57Let's start with her head.

0:06:57 > 0:07:00Just add some hair quickly.

0:07:03 > 0:07:06Now the important bit, her expression.

0:07:06 > 0:07:09Give her a nice big mouth, crescent like that.

0:07:09 > 0:07:12And then just drag it all the way down.

0:07:12 > 0:07:14She's laughing really hard,

0:07:14 > 0:07:16so the mouth is super wide.

0:07:16 > 0:07:19Little nose and upside down half circles for her eyes ...

0:07:19 > 0:07:22cos they're closed.

0:07:22 > 0:07:23Let's draw her dress, here.

0:07:23 > 0:07:26Then I want her to be uncontrollably laughing with her hands

0:07:26 > 0:07:28just brought up to her face like this.

0:07:31 > 0:07:33And then I'm going to have her knees knocking together...

0:07:33 > 0:07:35with the giggles.

0:07:39 > 0:07:41There you go, she's vibrating with her chuckles.

0:07:41 > 0:07:43And that's it, a quick art tip.

0:07:46 > 0:07:48GIGGLING Go on, have a go yourself!

0:07:48 > 0:07:50It'll be a laugh.

0:07:51 > 0:07:52SQUELCH!

0:07:53 > 0:07:55BOTH LAUGH

0:07:57 > 0:07:59The idea of this flat being sold

0:07:59 > 0:08:01makes me want to scream like this

0:08:01 > 0:08:04AAARRRRRRRRRGH!

0:08:04 > 0:08:06I feel like my head is going to pop off!

0:08:08 > 0:08:11That does give me an idea to do some pop art.

0:08:11 > 0:08:14Selfie... AAAAAAAARRGH!

0:08:14 > 0:08:16There we go.

0:08:16 > 0:08:18I'll just print that out, like a Ninja.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22I've got some acetate back here,

0:08:22 > 0:08:25and I'm going to lay that sheet over my photograph,

0:08:25 > 0:08:28and with a marker pen, draw my main facial features.

0:08:28 > 0:08:30Start with my glasses.

0:08:32 > 0:08:35You need to use a permanent marker to draw on to acetate,

0:08:35 > 0:08:38otherwise your pen marks might smudge.

0:08:38 > 0:08:41Colouring in the glasses. There you go.

0:08:44 > 0:08:47Look at that. It's already looking really pop-arty.

0:08:47 > 0:08:50To turn myself into pop art, I'm going to need some dots.

0:08:50 > 0:08:54So, I'm going to use a hole punch to help me. Couple more...

0:08:56 > 0:08:59I'm just going to empty those dots out, look at that.

0:08:59 > 0:09:02If I stick these red dots onto my acetate outline,

0:09:02 > 0:09:06I'll transform myself into a Roy Lichtenstein-inspired picture.

0:09:08 > 0:09:11Wham! It's me, Roy Lichtenstein.

0:09:11 > 0:09:12You scared me there, Roy!

0:09:12 > 0:09:16Ha-ha... I do like to... POP art on people.

0:09:16 > 0:09:18Pop art? Get it?

0:09:18 > 0:09:20I used thick outlines, bold colours

0:09:20 > 0:09:23and I loved drawing comic strips.

0:09:23 > 0:09:25I also used dots called Ben-Day dots

0:09:25 > 0:09:29based on printing techniques from the 19th century.

0:09:29 > 0:09:33My work looks like it was created by photographic reproduction.

0:09:33 > 0:09:37And my work itself continues to be reproduced and copied to this day.

0:09:37 > 0:09:40So, you won't mind if I make a homage to your work here, then, Roy.

0:09:40 > 0:09:42Here's to you!

0:09:44 > 0:09:46Hey!

0:09:46 > 0:09:47Sorry, Roy!

0:09:47 > 0:09:50OK. I've got some gridded paper under here,

0:09:50 > 0:09:52I'm going to put my acetate outline onto it,

0:09:52 > 0:09:54that'll help me lay on my dots.

0:09:54 > 0:09:57Now, I'm going to turn my acetate over so that when I put the dots on,

0:09:57 > 0:09:58I don't have to redraw the lines

0:09:58 > 0:10:01and I'm going to angle it ever so slightly diagonally,

0:10:01 > 0:10:05cos it's more in keeping with the way that Roy did his work.

0:10:05 > 0:10:07Now, we start sticking them on.

0:10:07 > 0:10:10I'm using a cocktail stick, because it can get a little bit fiddly

0:10:10 > 0:10:13and it gives me a lot more control.

0:10:13 > 0:10:15And I'm positioning these dots

0:10:15 > 0:10:19one square unit of the grid paper apart.

0:10:19 > 0:10:22PVA glue is good because it dries transparent.

0:10:23 > 0:10:25Hiyah! Ho!

0:10:25 > 0:10:27That's the last dot done, a quick peek.

0:10:27 > 0:10:30Now, I'm going to move on to some painting.

0:10:30 > 0:10:33I'm using some bright, primary colours just like Lichtenstein.

0:10:33 > 0:10:34A bit of red for my top.

0:10:34 > 0:10:36I've got some yellow,

0:10:36 > 0:10:38that's for my hair.

0:10:38 > 0:10:41And a bit of blue, for the top of my shirt.

0:10:41 > 0:10:43I'll start with the yellow.

0:10:43 > 0:10:45I'm using acrylic paint because it sticks better to acetate.

0:10:47 > 0:10:49Remember I'm painting on the back here,

0:10:49 > 0:10:51so it doesn't matter if I go over the lines.

0:10:52 > 0:10:54Now, a bit of blue for my shirt.

0:10:54 > 0:10:57You don't have to use paint, you could use coloured markers.

0:10:57 > 0:10:58Finally, some red.

0:10:59 > 0:11:02I'm painting the acetate on top of some white paper,

0:11:02 > 0:11:05it's just easier to see where I'm painting.

0:11:06 > 0:11:09I think that's done. Let's check it out.

0:11:12 > 0:11:13Time for another selfie.

0:11:15 > 0:11:16I look a bit dotty!

0:11:18 > 0:11:20Just print that out. Ninja skills.

0:11:20 > 0:11:22Well worth a frame.

0:11:22 > 0:11:25There you go, a perfect, pop-up portrait.

0:11:31 > 0:11:33'Art Ninja!'

0:11:33 > 0:11:35KNOCK AT DOOR

0:11:35 > 0:11:39That better not be more people coming to view the flat!

0:11:39 > 0:11:42Oh, you again! Come to show some more people around, I suppose?

0:11:42 > 0:11:45Fooled you, Ricky. It's me!

0:11:45 > 0:11:48Gavin! I was just pretending to be an estate agent!

0:11:48 > 0:11:50You mean what I think you mean?

0:11:50 > 0:11:51Yeah, the flat's not for sale!

0:11:51 > 0:11:55Only kidding, mate, just my little joke! Ha-ha! Your face!

0:11:55 > 0:11:57RIPPING

0:11:57 > 0:12:00Very funny, Gavin. Now, get out, you big, practical joker.

0:12:00 > 0:12:01No more from you.

0:12:01 > 0:12:05When Gavin's in the mood for pranks, he's hard to keep up with -

0:12:05 > 0:12:08a bit like this picture, because it's animated.

0:12:08 > 0:12:10HE PUFFS

0:12:10 > 0:12:13Skateboarding is thirsty work.

0:12:14 > 0:12:17Hey, dude, how about this to wet your whistle?

0:12:17 > 0:12:18Thanks, bro.

0:12:26 > 0:12:29Whoa! I thought my cup was going to take off!

0:12:30 > 0:12:33- No, it's just an animation. - A "plane" awesome one.

0:12:33 > 0:12:36To make this sweet cup animation, you'll need.

0:12:36 > 0:12:39Plastic cups, some paints,

0:12:39 > 0:12:41a permanent marker pen,

0:12:41 > 0:12:43and a tablet with animation software.

0:12:43 > 0:12:47And you can make this animation in just three Ninja moves.

0:12:47 > 0:12:49Ninja move number one.

0:12:49 > 0:12:52Decide what you're going to animate. I'm going to do a little red plane.

0:12:52 > 0:12:55So, I need to grab my cups and my pen.

0:12:57 > 0:12:59I'm going to start drawing

0:12:59 > 0:13:02my separate frames around the outside of one of the cups.

0:13:05 > 0:13:09That's my first frame, and I reckon I can get one, two, three...

0:13:09 > 0:13:11four more round that, so five frames in all.

0:13:11 > 0:13:13I'm going to change it ever so slightly.

0:13:14 > 0:13:16So, the body of the plane stays the same,

0:13:16 > 0:13:19but I'm going to have the wings level out a little bit.

0:13:21 > 0:13:24I'm drawing my plane freehand, but you could use a stencil.

0:13:28 > 0:13:30There we go, I'm going to paint that red.

0:13:30 > 0:13:32I'm using acrylic paint here.

0:13:32 > 0:13:34It's great, because it's very opaque

0:13:34 > 0:13:37and gets a good covering on the plastic cup.

0:13:40 > 0:13:42Ninja move number two.

0:13:42 > 0:13:44Now, it's time to paint my mid-ground and my background.

0:13:44 > 0:13:46Now, my mid-ground's going to be clouds,

0:13:46 > 0:13:49so I'm going to take another one of the plastic cups

0:13:49 > 0:13:50and get some white paint.

0:13:54 > 0:13:55The clouds are going to done now,

0:13:55 > 0:13:57I'm going to move on to the background,

0:13:57 > 0:13:59and that one's going to be an all-blue cup.

0:13:59 > 0:14:02You can add extra clouds to it, I'm going to keep mine plain.

0:14:02 > 0:14:03Just going to mix up a bit of paint.

0:14:09 > 0:14:13There we go, a nice, blue cup. I'll just leave those two to dry.

0:14:14 > 0:14:18I'm adding outlines to my clouds and birds to my blue sky.

0:14:18 > 0:14:20Ninja move number three.

0:14:20 > 0:14:23So, now, it's time to start shooting the animation.

0:14:23 > 0:14:26So, I need to put my cups within each other, so I have a background,

0:14:26 > 0:14:28a mid-ground and a foreground all working together nicely.

0:14:28 > 0:14:31The technique we're using here is called "parallaxing".

0:14:31 > 0:14:33You know, when you look out of a car window, as you're driving along,

0:14:33 > 0:14:35objects very close move very quickly,

0:14:35 > 0:14:37and objects in the distance move very slowly.

0:14:37 > 0:14:40The background is going to move a tiny, tiny amount,

0:14:40 > 0:14:41the mid-ground's going to move more

0:14:41 > 0:14:45and the foreground plane is going to move a whole frame each time.

0:14:45 > 0:14:46I'll take the first frame.

0:14:46 > 0:14:48CAMERA CLICKS

0:15:00 > 0:15:03OK, I've added some sound effects and I've compiled my movie.

0:15:03 > 0:15:06I think it's time to take a look at our mini masterpiece.

0:15:08 > 0:15:11PLANE DRONES

0:15:15 > 0:15:18- OK, guys, what do you think of the animation?- Good work.

0:15:18 > 0:15:20I'll drink to that.

0:15:23 > 0:15:24PHONE RINGS

0:15:24 > 0:15:26'Hi, Ricky, it's your mum.'

0:15:26 > 0:15:30Of course it is! You're the only person that uses that phone.

0:15:30 > 0:15:32'Here's what's coming up.'

0:15:32 > 0:15:36Cast your eyes on some amazing plaster art.

0:15:36 > 0:15:39There's some soap that simply poo-mazing.

0:15:39 > 0:15:44And there's epic art that should win the World Cup, and I'm not joking.

0:15:44 > 0:15:45You never can tell with mum.

0:15:45 > 0:15:48- BOTH:- Ricky, Ricky, Ricky!

0:15:48 > 0:15:50It's the Ninja Apprentices.

0:15:50 > 0:15:54Ricky, can you make art with a jar of jam?

0:15:54 > 0:15:58- Sorry, it's a bit of a sticky subject.- Oh...

0:15:58 > 0:16:01Hi, Ricky, it's Nero from The 4 O'clock Club.

0:16:01 > 0:16:03Oh, hiya!

0:16:03 > 0:16:06(Another CBBC peep trying to get in on the act!)

0:16:06 > 0:16:09Quick question. Can you make something out of a tape dispenser?

0:16:09 > 0:16:13- Not today, you should be getting off to your own show!- Come on!

0:16:14 > 0:16:15Hey, what's this guy got?

0:16:15 > 0:16:18Ricky, can you make art with an old sock?

0:16:18 > 0:16:21All right, I pick you!

0:16:21 > 0:16:22Yeah.

0:16:22 > 0:16:24- What's your name, dude? - Almo.

0:16:24 > 0:16:28- Nice to meet you, Almo. And where you from?- Bristol.- Ah, yes!

0:16:28 > 0:16:30So, art with an old sock,

0:16:30 > 0:16:32I'm going to make a fake plaster cast

0:16:32 > 0:16:34- you can fool your mates with.- Yeah.

0:16:34 > 0:16:36I'll just go and grab some bits.

0:16:36 > 0:16:39- So, I've got myself an old bottle here.- OK.

0:16:39 > 0:16:41I'm going to carefully chop the top off.

0:16:41 > 0:16:43I've taken off the lid, cos that way

0:16:43 > 0:16:45it's easier to squeeze, and I can cut it.

0:16:46 > 0:16:49This bit can be a bit tricky, so get an adult to help you.

0:16:49 > 0:16:51There you go, take the top off.

0:16:51 > 0:16:54I'm just going to chop the bottom off, as well.

0:16:54 > 0:16:56Again, just squeeze that to get my scissors in.

0:16:59 > 0:17:03- Now, I'm just going to cut all the way down the bottle...- Yeah.

0:17:03 > 0:17:06..which means I can change the size of it so it can fit me properly.

0:17:07 > 0:17:09Just make sure. I'll put my arm in.

0:17:09 > 0:17:12A little bit of overlap, that's pretty good for mine.

0:17:12 > 0:17:15So, I'm going to stick that, at that point, together.

0:17:15 > 0:17:16Just using some masking tape.

0:17:16 > 0:17:20You can use regular tape, but I've just got masking tape to hand.

0:17:23 > 0:17:26I'm going to put some masking tape on the inside, too,

0:17:26 > 0:17:28so the join doesn't scratch me when I put it on.

0:17:29 > 0:17:30There you go.

0:17:30 > 0:17:32Now, I think I'm going to cut

0:17:32 > 0:17:35a little U shape for my thumb to go through.

0:17:35 > 0:17:37Then it looks really authentic.

0:17:41 > 0:17:44I'm going to put a little bit of tape around the top of this U there,

0:17:44 > 0:17:46so the plastic doesn't scratch me.

0:17:46 > 0:17:47It's just safety stuff.

0:17:47 > 0:17:50And I'll do the same all the way along the top and on the bottom.

0:17:50 > 0:17:53- What would your dream art project be?- Hmm.

0:17:53 > 0:17:55A ginormous cardboard castle.

0:17:55 > 0:17:57A massive cardboard castle!

0:17:57 > 0:17:59- Would you live in it?- Yes.

0:17:59 > 0:18:02Would you live in it alone, or would you invite friends over?

0:18:02 > 0:18:04Invite a few friends.

0:18:04 > 0:18:05Yeah. Here we go.

0:18:05 > 0:18:08I've got some cotton wool here and I'm going to stick it round the top

0:18:08 > 0:18:12and the bottom and around the thumb hole so it looks like a real cast.

0:18:12 > 0:18:14Just like that to the edges,

0:18:14 > 0:18:17and I'm just going to tape it over with some masking tape.

0:18:22 > 0:18:25There you go. I'll do the same at the bottom.

0:18:29 > 0:18:31There we are. It's looking pretty good.

0:18:31 > 0:18:34- I think it's time to use the sock. - Yeah.

0:18:36 > 0:18:37I'm going to chop off the toes.

0:18:41 > 0:18:43And then, I'm going to chop it again

0:18:43 > 0:18:46just before the material changes pattern... So, after the heel.

0:18:48 > 0:18:50And now, I'm going to slide it over the bottle,

0:18:50 > 0:18:53a great use for a stinky, old sock!

0:18:57 > 0:18:58So, it covers up all the tape.

0:18:58 > 0:19:01It's really starting to take shape now.

0:19:01 > 0:19:03So, my thumb's meant to go through here.

0:19:03 > 0:19:05I've got to make a little hole for it.

0:19:10 > 0:19:11Ah, yeah, that's looking really good,

0:19:11 > 0:19:13but it doesn't feel very good at the moment.

0:19:13 > 0:19:16I think it could do with a bit of stiffness to it.

0:19:16 > 0:19:19So, I'm going to cover it in a layer of PVA glue.

0:19:19 > 0:19:20So, just start pasting it on.

0:19:21 > 0:19:23Really get it on nice and thick.

0:19:26 > 0:19:29The PVA will make it stiff like a real cast.

0:19:29 > 0:19:31Now, I need to wait for that to dry

0:19:31 > 0:19:35- or I could use some Ninja skills. What do you think?- Ninja skills!

0:19:35 > 0:19:37Hiyah!

0:19:37 > 0:19:39Yeah, Ninja skills.

0:19:39 > 0:19:42Right, Almo, cast your eyes on this.

0:19:42 > 0:19:44So, it's dried, rock solid, and, look,

0:19:44 > 0:19:46I've got all this artwork drawn on it.

0:19:46 > 0:19:48You can even get your mates to draw on it

0:19:48 > 0:19:50without the pain of hurting your arm.

0:19:50 > 0:19:52- What do you think of it? - It's awesome, Ricky.

0:19:52 > 0:19:55What mark would you give it, other than a scribble of course?

0:19:55 > 0:19:57I give it...ten.

0:19:57 > 0:19:58Ah, yeah!

0:19:59 > 0:20:02Great suggestion, Almo. Thanks, dude, bye-bye.

0:20:03 > 0:20:07Why not try and prank your mates with a fake cast?

0:20:13 > 0:20:15- TV:- 'Hey, you there.

0:20:15 > 0:20:17'Someone been winding you up?'

0:20:17 > 0:20:18Other than you?

0:20:18 > 0:20:22'Well, now, you can play practical jokes on your mates with this...'

0:20:23 > 0:20:26..delightful soap that looks like poo!

0:20:28 > 0:20:30Here's how you make it.

0:20:31 > 0:20:36Take a bar of soap and grate it into a bowl.

0:20:40 > 0:20:42Great!

0:20:45 > 0:20:47Done.

0:20:48 > 0:20:51- Now, pop that in the microwave... - BEEPING

0:20:51 > 0:20:52..for ten seconds.

0:20:54 > 0:20:56PING!

0:20:56 > 0:20:57Warm.

0:20:57 > 0:21:00Now, take a tablespoon of coffee

0:21:00 > 0:21:03and add some warm water...

0:21:05 > 0:21:06..and stir...

0:21:08 > 0:21:10'..until it's a nice paste.'

0:21:13 > 0:21:15Add that to your soap...

0:21:18 > 0:21:20..and mix it with your hands.

0:21:23 > 0:21:25Really get in there.

0:21:29 > 0:21:31Now, mould it into a sausage shape.

0:21:40 > 0:21:43Shape it as desired.

0:21:45 > 0:21:46Classic.

0:21:48 > 0:21:49Fake poo soap!

0:21:49 > 0:21:52Remember it's not real,

0:21:52 > 0:21:56but it's excellent for cleaning you from top to bottom.

0:21:56 > 0:21:57TING!

0:21:57 > 0:22:01To be fair, I do like most of the products he sells,

0:22:01 > 0:22:02this isn't my favourite though.

0:22:02 > 0:22:04It's probably my number two.

0:22:04 > 0:22:07I really want to get Gav back for his prank.

0:22:07 > 0:22:11If only Gavin had left his most treasured possession behind!

0:22:11 > 0:22:13Near the front door, for instance.

0:22:13 > 0:22:16ETHEREAL SPARKLING Hang on, what's this?

0:22:17 > 0:22:19"Gav's Secret Diary"!

0:22:21 > 0:22:23This will come in handy.

0:22:24 > 0:22:28Hi, Rich. Grab Sarah and meet me at the warehouse.

0:22:38 > 0:22:40Ninja skills.

0:22:40 > 0:22:42- Hey, guys, thanks for coming down. - Hey, Ricky.

0:22:42 > 0:22:44So, you remember how Gavin always likes to play

0:22:44 > 0:22:46- those practical jokes on us. - Yeah...

0:22:46 > 0:22:50It's time to get Gav back for all his pranks, and I have here...

0:22:50 > 0:22:52ETHEREAL SPARKLING ..his secret diary.

0:22:52 > 0:22:54I bet he's desperate to get this back,

0:22:54 > 0:22:56and I'm going to make it very hard for him.

0:22:56 > 0:22:57SHE SLURPS

0:22:57 > 0:23:01Sarah, do you mind not slurping when I'm telling you our cunning plan.

0:23:01 > 0:23:02That's not very cordial!

0:23:02 > 0:23:04No, but it does give me an idea,

0:23:04 > 0:23:06but if only we had more cups and more cordial.

0:23:06 > 0:23:08What, like that?

0:23:09 > 0:23:12That should do it! But first,

0:23:12 > 0:23:13we better get our Ninja on.

0:23:15 > 0:23:17WHOOSHING AIR

0:23:17 > 0:23:19CRACKING, CRUNCHING

0:23:21 > 0:23:22Art Ninja!

0:23:22 > 0:23:23Art Ninja...?

0:23:23 > 0:23:25SHE SLURPS

0:23:27 > 0:23:30Because Gavin takes the cup for being the biggest prankster,

0:23:30 > 0:23:32we're going to make some epic art

0:23:32 > 0:23:34using cups and lots and lots of squash.

0:23:34 > 0:23:37We're going to carefully place the cups together,

0:23:37 > 0:23:40squash Gavin's diary behind them and then he won't be able to get it back

0:23:40 > 0:23:43- without spilling all the drinks. - Sneaky.

0:23:43 > 0:23:46So, we need to start a little production line.

0:23:46 > 0:23:49So, how many do you want of these, Ricky? Just a couple?

0:23:49 > 0:23:51Um, yeah. About 3,066.

0:23:51 > 0:23:533,066!

0:23:53 > 0:23:55Approximately. SHE GROANS

0:23:59 > 0:24:01Ricky, how are these cups going to make art?

0:24:01 > 0:24:02Good question, my friend.

0:24:02 > 0:24:05Well, once they're filled with different colours

0:24:05 > 0:24:07and placed in the right order,

0:24:07 > 0:24:10from above, they'll make a giant picture.

0:24:10 > 0:24:11Let's get some more.

0:24:27 > 0:24:29Can I have a drink?

0:24:29 > 0:24:30- Yeah.- Cheers.

0:24:30 > 0:24:31Hey, you guys, pack it in!

0:24:31 > 0:24:34- We need that juice for the art. - It's thirsty work, this.

0:24:39 > 0:24:40SHE SLURPS

0:24:49 > 0:24:54Ricky, we've laid all these cups, but I still have no idea what it is.

0:24:54 > 0:24:56Well, from this angle, it doesn't make much sense,

0:24:56 > 0:24:59but all these separate little circles of colour, from above,

0:24:59 > 0:25:02- will make an amazing picture. - I can't wait to see it.

0:25:08 > 0:25:09And that's it!

0:25:09 > 0:25:12Using 500 litres of liquid and 6,000 cups,

0:25:12 > 0:25:14we've made a colossal clown!

0:25:18 > 0:25:20- He's incredible!- It looks awesome!

0:25:20 > 0:25:21I'm super-stoked with this.

0:25:21 > 0:25:23Look how all the colours join together,

0:25:23 > 0:25:26and from above, it makes a beautiful picture.

0:25:26 > 0:25:29And now time to play our prank on Gavin.

0:25:29 > 0:25:32I called him earlier and told him to come and get his secret diary,

0:25:32 > 0:25:34but I'm going to place it on one side of the cups

0:25:34 > 0:25:37and when he tries desperately to get it back,

0:25:37 > 0:25:39he'll spill ALL of the juice. HE LAUGHS

0:25:39 > 0:25:42ALL LAUGH MANIACALLY

0:25:46 > 0:25:48PHONE RINGS Oh, hang on, guys.

0:25:48 > 0:25:50- Oh, it's Gav. ..Hey, dude? - 'Hi, Ricky.'

0:25:50 > 0:25:52I can't make it down to the warehouse today,

0:25:52 > 0:25:55I've got a very important appointment.

0:25:55 > 0:25:56'Sorry, mate.'

0:25:56 > 0:25:57Catch you later.

0:25:57 > 0:26:01He's not coming. He says he's got an important appointment.

0:26:03 > 0:26:06Well, there's one very important appointment, but that's it!

0:26:06 > 0:26:09There's nothing else in here, no juicy gossip, no nothing.

0:26:10 > 0:26:15Um, Ricky, how are we going to get out of here without getting soaked?

0:26:16 > 0:26:19You've literally painted us into a corner!

0:26:19 > 0:26:21HE FACEPALMS

0:26:21 > 0:26:23That's not the worst of it.

0:26:23 > 0:26:26- I think I drank too much juice. - Oh, no, don't tell me...

0:26:26 > 0:26:28I need a wee.

0:26:28 > 0:26:30I think I need one, too.

0:26:30 > 0:26:32Oh, guys! Oh, you're making me need one.

0:26:32 > 0:26:35At least, we made some fantastic art.

0:26:36 > 0:26:38Ooooh, I'm going to wee!

0:27:04 > 0:27:06- 'Art Ninja!' - OWL HOOTS

0:27:09 > 0:27:13It's OK, we eventually got out without any accidents

0:27:13 > 0:27:15and Gavin was none the wiser.

0:27:15 > 0:27:16No change there.

0:27:16 > 0:27:20Today has taught me a valuable Art Ninja lesson.

0:27:20 > 0:27:22Before you do art with soft drink,

0:27:22 > 0:27:24make sure you stop and think.

0:27:24 > 0:27:27PPPPBBBBBPPPPPT! Oh, another Gav prank!

0:27:27 > 0:27:30He's only gone and put a whoopee cushion in my bed.

0:27:31 > 0:27:32It's here somewhere.

0:27:34 > 0:27:36It's definitely here somewhere.

0:27:40 > 0:27:42There's no whoopee cushion.

0:27:43 > 0:27:45It must've been me. HE SNIFFS

0:27:45 > 0:27:48Urrrrrrrrgh!
