0:00:24 > 0:00:25SHE SCREAMS

0:00:25 > 0:00:28Most importantly, I make ninja moves.

0:00:28 > 0:00:29Some people call me the...

0:00:31 > 0:00:33Art Ninja!

0:00:33 > 0:00:37Today, I'll show you how to shimmer with a shiny selfie.

0:00:37 > 0:00:41There is a beautiful bouquet with a hidden surprise,

0:00:41 > 0:00:45and things get daring with this dino animation!

0:00:46 > 0:00:47Because today it's...

0:00:54 > 0:00:56It's a new day.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58I better get my ninja on!

0:00:58 > 0:00:59And my clothes!

0:01:14 > 0:01:16LOUD THUD

0:01:16 > 0:01:17What's that noise?

0:01:17 > 0:01:18GLASS BREAKING

0:01:18 > 0:01:22It's coming from the kitchen... I need something - and fast!

0:01:22 > 0:01:25CHOIR SINGS

0:01:28 > 0:01:30It's all I could find.

0:01:30 > 0:01:32Come on, Ricky, you can do this, you're brave,

0:01:32 > 0:01:34you're a ninja! Slowly...

0:01:34 > 0:01:37Slowly... I'm going to sneak up on our intruder...

0:01:37 > 0:01:39CRASHING CONTINUES

0:01:39 > 0:01:40Here they come...

0:01:43 > 0:01:44Hey!

0:01:44 > 0:01:47Gav! What are you doing here?

0:01:47 > 0:01:49I came around to make you breakfast, mate.

0:01:49 > 0:01:50And your door was unlocked.

0:01:50 > 0:01:52So I just let myself in.

0:01:52 > 0:01:53I thought I locked it last night.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55Thanks for cooking me breakfast though.

0:01:55 > 0:01:59- Where is breakfast?- Yeah, about that, it's a bit tricky.

0:01:59 > 0:02:01There's nothing here!

0:02:01 > 0:02:03Not even my favourite mug?

0:02:03 > 0:02:06Gone, too! But don't worry though, I did manage to find you this!

0:02:07 > 0:02:08It's got corn flakes in it.

0:02:08 > 0:02:11Oh, yeah, sorry.

0:02:11 > 0:02:12Forgot the milk.

0:02:15 > 0:02:16- Cheers.- Cheers!

0:02:16 > 0:02:20Gav! That's the cup I use to clean my brushes!

0:02:20 > 0:02:21This is all too weird!

0:02:21 > 0:02:23Who's taken my stuff?

0:02:23 > 0:02:26Scissors, pencils, brushes, it's all here!

0:02:26 > 0:02:30If I have been robbed, they haven't taken anything expensive!

0:02:30 > 0:02:32Did someone say expensive?

0:02:32 > 0:02:34- Who are you?!- I am

0:02:34 > 0:02:37Gustav Klimt from Vienna, Austria.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40I am well known for using goldleaf in my work.

0:02:40 > 0:02:42Here's an example now.

0:02:42 > 0:02:46My portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer sold at auction

0:02:46 > 0:02:49for 135 million dollars!

0:02:49 > 0:02:51That is a lot of money!

0:02:51 > 0:02:54- You're telling me!- You didn't happen to see who took my stuff?

0:02:54 > 0:02:56You should have set a trap!

0:02:56 > 0:02:58That would have foiled them!

0:02:58 > 0:03:01Foiled! Because you're on foil!

0:03:01 > 0:03:02Ha-ha-ha-ha!

0:03:02 > 0:03:07I'm going to make a shiny selfie inspired by you, Gustav Klimt.

0:03:07 > 0:03:09- Good luck, Ricky!- Thanks, Gustav!

0:03:11 > 0:03:14I got myself a nice big printout of moi.

0:03:14 > 0:03:16And I've got a bowl of old sweet wrappers.

0:03:16 > 0:03:18I'm going to chop these in to strips.

0:03:18 > 0:03:19Let's start with the red one.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21You need a good handful of each colour.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28Let's get this sort of light gold colour

0:03:28 > 0:03:31and do the same. And I'm doing different widths.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Some quite thin, some quite thick.

0:03:33 > 0:03:38So I'm using wrappers, but you can use anything shiny you like.

0:03:38 > 0:03:40Need some blue, as well.

0:03:42 > 0:03:43And some silver.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47It's a good little pile to start with.

0:03:47 > 0:03:50By using a glue stick, I'm going to fill in the red part of my top here.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53I'm going to stick them on, but always going vertically,

0:03:53 > 0:03:55because that's what Klimt was known for.

0:03:55 > 0:03:58I'm using three different types of wrappers on this bit

0:03:58 > 0:04:01to give it a variety of colour and texture.

0:04:06 > 0:04:08Here we go.

0:04:08 > 0:04:10Now I'm going to move onto the blue part of my top.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13And that's going be a mix of this blue foil,

0:04:13 > 0:04:16and some different textures of silver.

0:04:19 > 0:04:21I'm going to add a stripy collar.

0:04:24 > 0:04:27Here we go. Now I can cut away the background.

0:04:31 > 0:04:32I'm also using this opportunity to

0:04:32 > 0:04:35trim off the overhanging bits over the shoulders.

0:04:35 > 0:04:37And I'm going to tidy up along the bottom.

0:04:37 > 0:04:39Just to give it a nice straight edge.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41How do I look?

0:04:43 > 0:04:45Now I need to make a background, for my picture.

0:04:45 > 0:04:49Klimt also experimented with using embossed backgrounds.

0:04:49 > 0:04:51So I'm going to do the same here.

0:04:51 > 0:04:52I'm sticking down some triangles.

0:04:58 > 0:05:01I'm going to cut out some squares from these wrappers

0:05:01 > 0:05:02to make my background.

0:05:10 > 0:05:12When I'm going to make the triangles

0:05:12 > 0:05:14I'm using the foil based material,

0:05:14 > 0:05:16because it means when they're stuck down,

0:05:16 > 0:05:19you can push them into the edges to bring out the shapes underneath.

0:05:23 > 0:05:26I'm using three different materials with different textures,

0:05:26 > 0:05:29and I'm layering them up to give them a Klimt feel.

0:05:30 > 0:05:33I've also taken some different coloured wrappers

0:05:33 > 0:05:35and layered them up as triangles and ovals,

0:05:35 > 0:05:38and I'm going to stick them around in the background.

0:05:40 > 0:05:42Now it's time to bring the whole picture together.

0:05:43 > 0:05:45Bit of glue along the back here.

0:05:51 > 0:05:55There we go, a shiny selfie inspired by Gustav Klimt!

0:05:55 > 0:05:58And I think it's so good it deserves a frame.

0:06:00 > 0:06:03I'm not sure this will fetch millions at auction, but to me,

0:06:03 > 0:06:04it's priceless.

0:06:17 > 0:06:18Fancy flowers!

0:06:18 > 0:06:21- Who are they from?- There's a note.

0:06:23 > 0:06:28- Kiss.- Wow! A secret super fan? And a kiss! This is exciting!

0:06:28 > 0:06:29I wonder who it could be?

0:06:31 > 0:06:33I don't know. It was just a delivery guy that gave them to me.

0:06:33 > 0:06:36I think. I didn't really see him, to be honest.

0:06:37 > 0:06:39Best put these down on the table.

0:06:40 > 0:06:43Hang on, where's the table gone?

0:06:43 > 0:06:45- What?- Something fishy's going on around here.

0:06:45 > 0:06:48Gav, you need to stay here and keep guard.

0:06:48 > 0:06:52Definitely. Nothing or no-one will get past me.

0:06:52 > 0:06:54- Keep guard, all right?- Yes, sir!

0:06:54 > 0:06:56Agent Gavin, at your service! Sir!

0:06:58 > 0:07:00It's always nice to receive flowers.

0:07:00 > 0:07:04But I hope this super fan thing isn't a joke.

0:07:04 > 0:07:05That gives an idea!

0:07:05 > 0:07:06I'm going to make...

0:07:06 > 0:07:10..the Art Ninja joke flowers!

0:07:10 > 0:07:14I got myself an old plastic bag here, that I've cut into two strips.

0:07:14 > 0:07:16I'm going to fold them in half, long ways.

0:07:16 > 0:07:20And then just pinch, and twist along the folded edge.

0:07:20 > 0:07:23And I'm doing this at about 2cm intervals.

0:07:23 > 0:07:25I don't want to do it too hard and damage the plastic.

0:07:25 > 0:07:28And these strips will become the petals for my flower.

0:07:28 > 0:07:32I got a strong, and on the bendy end,

0:07:32 > 0:07:35I'm going to put a little bit of double-sided sticky tape.

0:07:35 > 0:07:37And then I'm going to roll the plastic around it.

0:07:37 > 0:07:40I'm rolling this as tight as I can.

0:07:42 > 0:07:45OK. I'm going to do the other one here.

0:07:45 > 0:07:47And I'm going to roll this one a little bit looser.

0:07:53 > 0:07:55Make sure it's all flush against the top on the table,

0:07:55 > 0:07:58I'm just going to tie around this with a piece of string.

0:08:00 > 0:08:04Just shape it a little bit. This technique has given me a rose.

0:08:04 > 0:08:06I'm going to put a little bit of

0:08:06 > 0:08:07double sided sticky tape over the string.

0:08:07 > 0:08:10And now I've got a little strip of green plastic bag.

0:08:10 > 0:08:13And I'm just going to twist it round here, like this,

0:08:13 > 0:08:15all way down the stem as I twist.

0:08:15 > 0:08:16And cut off the excess.

0:08:18 > 0:08:20Stick that down with a bit of sticky tape to hold it in place.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22I'm going to make a different style of flower.

0:08:22 > 0:08:25So I have some more pieces of plastic bag here,

0:08:25 > 0:08:26cut into rectangles.

0:08:26 > 0:08:28And I'm going to layer them up, alternating colours.

0:08:28 > 0:08:30So, yellow and pink.

0:08:32 > 0:08:35Now I'm going to fold these, concertina style.

0:08:35 > 0:08:36So, just back and forth.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44Using a pair scissors, I'm just going to round off the edges.

0:08:46 > 0:08:47I've got another bit of string,

0:08:47 > 0:08:49just going to tie it around the centre.

0:08:49 > 0:08:53Just loosely to begin with, so I can slide another straw through it.

0:08:53 > 0:08:56And I'm going to line it up with the bendy bit at the top of the straw.

0:08:56 > 0:08:59Tie that much tighter. Bend both ends of the straw up,

0:08:59 > 0:09:01and stick them together with tape,

0:09:01 > 0:09:04catching the ends of the string as you go.

0:09:04 > 0:09:06And now I'm going to fan out the petals.

0:09:07 > 0:09:09And then I'm going to start separating the layers,

0:09:09 > 0:09:12and that is what's going to give this flower its form.

0:09:13 > 0:09:15And again, I'm going to wrap around

0:09:15 > 0:09:17a strip of green plastic carrier bag.

0:09:17 > 0:09:19Secured at the end with sticky tape.

0:09:19 > 0:09:21Look at that.

0:09:21 > 0:09:23And this flower is a peony.

0:09:23 > 0:09:25But if I'm going to make a bouquet,

0:09:25 > 0:09:27I'm going to need some more of these flowers,

0:09:27 > 0:09:28so I'm going to use my ninja skills.

0:09:32 > 0:09:33APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

0:09:36 > 0:09:38Thank you!

0:09:39 > 0:09:42Now I'm going to stick the flowers around this kitchen roll tube.

0:09:47 > 0:09:48Lovely.

0:09:50 > 0:09:53And here's some leaves that I made by sandwiching a straw

0:09:53 > 0:09:55between two layers of green plastic bag

0:09:55 > 0:09:57and cutting them into long, thin, leaf shapes.

0:09:57 > 0:10:00I'm putting these on the outside, using sticky tape.

0:10:02 > 0:10:07I've got another plastic bag with a nice pattern to wrap the bouquet.

0:10:07 > 0:10:09Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about this one.

0:10:09 > 0:10:10This one is the special one.

0:10:10 > 0:10:11It's the joke flower!

0:10:11 > 0:10:13I've got a squeezy travel bottle here.

0:10:13 > 0:10:16So I've got myself a balloon, and I'll chop the top off.

0:10:16 > 0:10:18Here we go.

0:10:18 > 0:10:19Don't need that bit.

0:10:19 > 0:10:21Slide it up the stem.

0:10:24 > 0:10:26And then just hold it in place with some sticky tape.

0:10:28 > 0:10:29Put some water my travel bottle.

0:10:31 > 0:10:33About half full.

0:10:35 > 0:10:38And I'm going to put the end of my straw into it.

0:10:38 > 0:10:42And I'm putting this balloon around the edges to seal the bottle.

0:10:42 > 0:10:44This will stop any water escaping.

0:10:44 > 0:10:45And slide that up.

0:10:45 > 0:10:48Through the kitchen roll, into the centre.

0:10:48 > 0:10:51Like that. I wonder what they smell like.

0:10:52 > 0:10:54LAUGHTER

0:10:54 > 0:10:57A lovely bunch of flowers, with a silly surprise.

0:10:57 > 0:10:58Look out!

0:10:58 > 0:11:00You don't have to mix squirty flowers like mine,

0:11:00 > 0:11:02there's a whole bunch of ways you can make them!

0:11:02 > 0:11:05How about making a splash with this underwater scene?

0:11:07 > 0:11:10Or these fang-tastic monster flowers?

0:11:10 > 0:11:12GROWLING

0:11:12 > 0:11:14I wonder how Gavin's getting on.

0:11:21 > 0:11:23None shall pass.

0:11:23 > 0:11:24Gav, it's me!

0:11:25 > 0:11:28Oh, sorry, mate! I didn't see you with these on!

0:11:28 > 0:11:30So, did anything else arrive?

0:11:30 > 0:11:31Nope, nothing.

0:11:31 > 0:11:33Nada, not a sausage.

0:11:33 > 0:11:35What about this then?

0:11:38 > 0:11:42Kiss kiss. Two kisses!

0:11:42 > 0:11:44I wonder what it is! Lift with your knees.

0:11:47 > 0:11:49Let's open it up!

0:11:51 > 0:11:54Oh, mate! Let me help you!

0:11:54 > 0:11:56Let's get you sat down.

0:11:56 > 0:11:59What? Where's the chair gone?

0:11:59 > 0:12:01Must've been taken, too!

0:12:01 > 0:12:03You need to up your guard game, mate.

0:12:03 > 0:12:04OK, boss.

0:12:06 > 0:12:10No-one needs to move this picture, it moves itself.

0:12:10 > 0:12:11It's animated.

0:12:13 > 0:12:16So, Ricky, what sort of animals do you think live here?

0:12:16 > 0:12:18Crows, pigeons, squirrels...

0:12:18 > 0:12:20Dinosaurs!

0:12:20 > 0:12:22ROARING

0:12:28 > 0:12:31Guys! It's just an animation!

0:12:31 > 0:12:33So, to make this monstrous animation,

0:12:33 > 0:12:35you'll need some modelling clay,

0:12:35 > 0:12:38a mini manikin, a camera, some green fabric

0:12:38 > 0:12:41and a computer with animation software.

0:12:41 > 0:12:44And you can put it together in just three ninja moves.

0:12:44 > 0:12:46Ninja move number one.

0:12:46 > 0:12:48So first thing we need to do, is get ourselves

0:12:48 > 0:12:50a bit of video to make our animation along to.

0:12:50 > 0:12:53Now, we're going to need these guys to act out

0:12:53 > 0:12:54being attacked by the dinosaur.

0:12:54 > 0:12:59THROUGH MEGAPHONE: Duck, jump, throw the stick, run away!

0:12:59 > 0:13:00Ninja move number two.

0:13:00 > 0:13:02Now this bit's really fun.

0:13:02 > 0:13:04You get to build your dinosaur.

0:13:04 > 0:13:06I'm going to mould the clay over the mini-manikin,

0:13:06 > 0:13:08and this will work as an armature.

0:13:08 > 0:13:12An armature is basically a skeleton inside of an animation model

0:13:12 > 0:13:15that helps it stay in place when you're animating.

0:13:15 > 0:13:17You can pick up mini-manikins from any good craft shop.

0:13:17 > 0:13:19Ninja move number three.

0:13:19 > 0:13:20It's time to start shooting!

0:13:20 > 0:13:22You remember that video we shot earlier?

0:13:22 > 0:13:24I'm going to make the dinosaur's movements

0:13:24 > 0:13:27join up with what Richard and Ella did.

0:13:27 > 0:13:32Now, I have to splice my dino-less shot with my dino animation.

0:13:32 > 0:13:34Oh, so excited!

0:13:34 > 0:13:35And I've shot all of our dino frames,

0:13:35 > 0:13:38so I think it's time to take a look at our mini masterpiece.

0:13:38 > 0:13:40ROARING

0:13:53 > 0:13:55Mate, that was worth all the hard work.

0:13:55 > 0:13:57- It did turn out great, right? - Yeah!- Yeah!

0:14:01 > 0:14:03PHONE RINGS

0:14:03 > 0:14:04Hi, Ricky. It's your mum.

0:14:04 > 0:14:06Just phoning to say I'm missing you.

0:14:06 > 0:14:09I miss you too, Mum. But I've always got your photo.

0:14:10 > 0:14:12Hang on, where's it gone?

0:14:12 > 0:14:14Make sure you don't miss what's coming up.

0:14:14 > 0:14:18You won't be able to resist using a candle for this great picture.

0:14:18 > 0:14:21There's a big surprise from this little guy.

0:14:21 > 0:14:23- Magic!- And you'll be involved in

0:14:23 > 0:14:25some absolute ba-lunacy at the gallery.

0:14:25 > 0:14:29Ricky, I'm not being funny, but I think someone's stealing your phone.

0:14:29 > 0:14:31DIAL TONE

0:14:31 > 0:14:32What on earth...?

0:14:34 > 0:14:36Gav, did you see who took the phone?

0:14:36 > 0:14:37What? No.

0:14:37 > 0:14:40- I've been pretty busy. - What's going on around here?

0:14:40 > 0:14:43- Ricky, Ricky, Ricky! - It's the ninja apprentices.

0:14:43 > 0:14:45I wonder if they've seen anything?

0:14:46 > 0:14:48Can you make art with a baked potato?

0:14:48 > 0:14:51Sorry, I don't want to make art that's half-baked.

0:14:51 > 0:14:53Aw...

0:14:53 > 0:14:56- Hey! You, Ricky Martin! Art Ninja man!- Oh, gosh!

0:14:56 > 0:14:58Hacker, you're naked!

0:14:58 > 0:15:01Well, what did you expect? I'm a dog, cocker!

0:15:01 > 0:15:05- Fair point.- Can you make some art with this scrubbing brush?

0:15:05 > 0:15:07I'm sorry, but this time I'm going to have to give you the brush off.

0:15:07 > 0:15:09See you!

0:15:11 > 0:15:12Hey! What have you got?

0:15:12 > 0:15:15Ricky, can you make art with a candle?

0:15:15 > 0:15:17I've always had a burning desire to do that.

0:15:17 > 0:15:21- I choose you.- Yay!

0:15:21 > 0:15:23- What's your name?- I'm Caitlin.

0:15:23 > 0:15:26- Lovely to meet you, Caitlin. And where are you from?- I'm from Derry.

0:15:26 > 0:15:28- Can I borrow your candle? - Sure.

0:15:29 > 0:15:31Great. I'll just go and get some more bits.

0:15:32 > 0:15:35So I've got some paper, some watercolour paints

0:15:35 > 0:15:36and obviously your candle.

0:15:36 > 0:15:38And I'm going to snip the wick off.

0:15:39 > 0:15:42And now I'm going to use it to sketch out my picture.

0:15:43 > 0:15:45By the way, this is watercolour paper.

0:15:45 > 0:15:48I've noticed you've got some art on the wall behind you.

0:15:48 > 0:15:49I drew myself as an art ninja.

0:15:49 > 0:15:53- Suits you.- And then I've got the turtles.

0:15:53 > 0:15:55I'm pleased you like turtles,

0:15:55 > 0:15:57cos my picture is something that lives in a similar place.

0:15:57 > 0:16:01I can't really see what I'm drawing.

0:16:01 > 0:16:04If I look to the edge of my paper like that and let the light reflect

0:16:04 > 0:16:07across it, I can see the reflection of the wax.

0:16:07 > 0:16:09- Do you want to see it?- Yeah!

0:16:09 > 0:16:10Well, can you see it?

0:16:11 > 0:16:13- No.- But don't worry.

0:16:13 > 0:16:15Soon everything will become clear.

0:16:15 > 0:16:18I'm just going to grab some masking tape and tape it down.

0:16:18 > 0:16:22Because when the paper gets wet, it might try and crease up.

0:16:22 > 0:16:24I'm taping mine to the desk.

0:16:24 > 0:16:26But if you want, you can tape yours to a tray.

0:16:26 > 0:16:28And I'm going to start with a light orange.

0:16:30 > 0:16:34Now what's happening here is the wax resists the water,

0:16:34 > 0:16:36leaving behind white lines.

0:16:36 > 0:16:39So, Caitlin, I really love your turtle picture,

0:16:39 > 0:16:42- but what's your favourite animal?- Baby pigs.

0:16:42 > 0:16:44Can you do a baby pig impression?

0:16:44 > 0:16:45SHE OINKS

0:16:50 > 0:16:52Any guesses of what I'm drawing?

0:16:52 > 0:16:55It hangs out in the same place as the turtle.

0:16:55 > 0:16:57Fish?

0:16:57 > 0:16:58It's pretty close!

0:17:00 > 0:17:02Now I want to do some blue round the outside.

0:17:02 > 0:17:05There's no need to be to neat here, and it's going to

0:17:05 > 0:17:06end up with a messy edge,

0:17:06 > 0:17:08but I think it's going to add to the picture.

0:17:10 > 0:17:12I was always going to be an art ninja.

0:17:12 > 0:17:13What do you want to be when you grow up?

0:17:13 > 0:17:18A famous artist, a teacher, a pop star...

0:17:18 > 0:17:19You're going to be busy.

0:17:20 > 0:17:23Now I'm going to move on to some green.

0:17:23 > 0:17:25And it's fading in nicely with the blue.

0:17:26 > 0:17:28There we go. I'm just going to add some purple,

0:17:28 > 0:17:30giving parts of my painting depth.

0:17:32 > 0:17:36One last little finishing touch, a little bit of black.

0:17:36 > 0:17:40Right, I'm all done here. I'll just take off the masking tape.

0:17:40 > 0:17:41Are you ready to see it?

0:17:41 > 0:17:43- Yes.- What do you think?

0:17:43 > 0:17:45It's so good!

0:17:45 > 0:17:49- So what would you score it? - I'd give it a...ten!

0:17:49 > 0:17:51Ah, a 10? You must be a fan!

0:17:51 > 0:17:54I'm so happy with that score, I'm going to give it a frame.

0:17:54 > 0:17:58- Thank you very much for your suggestion, Caitlin. Bye-bye!- Bye!

0:18:08 > 0:18:11Here's a quick art tip of how to draw a 3-D object.

0:18:11 > 0:18:14So I'm going to start by drawing myself a couple of dots,

0:18:14 > 0:18:15and these are going to be guides,

0:18:15 > 0:18:19because I'm going to make my objects 3-D by using vanishing points.

0:18:19 > 0:18:21So I'm going to join these dots up.

0:18:21 > 0:18:25Just rough for now. I'm going to draw a present,

0:18:25 > 0:18:26which is basically a cube.

0:18:26 > 0:18:29I'm just going to draw a line straight in the middle here.

0:18:29 > 0:18:31And that's going to be one edge of my cube.

0:18:31 > 0:18:34I'm going to draw lines from this point out my vanishing points.

0:18:34 > 0:18:37Now I'm going to draw the two outside edges of my box...

0:18:38 > 0:18:41..and join those up with the opposite vanishing points.

0:18:42 > 0:18:44And that's the main body of my cube,

0:18:44 > 0:18:47so to make this into a present I'm going to add a bow on the top

0:18:47 > 0:18:49and I'm going to do this in pen.

0:18:50 > 0:18:52Two nice big loops in the ribbon.

0:18:55 > 0:18:57Just go over the structure of the box.

0:19:02 > 0:19:04But I'm not drawing in the lines behind the bow.

0:19:06 > 0:19:09Finally, just letting that ribbon continue down the front of the box.

0:19:11 > 0:19:16There we go. There's a quick art tip of how to draw a 3-D object.

0:19:27 > 0:19:29Oh, yeah. I know! I know!

0:19:29 > 0:19:31Who's Gav chatting to?

0:19:31 > 0:19:33Maybe he's caught my mystery super fan.

0:19:33 > 0:19:35You're so right.

0:19:35 > 0:19:36Cheers, Dave.

0:19:37 > 0:19:38- Gavin?!- Oh!

0:19:39 > 0:19:40You're meant to be on the lookout

0:19:40 > 0:19:43for stuff going missing and strange deliveries.

0:19:44 > 0:19:45What's all this lot?!

0:19:45 > 0:19:47What?! I can't believe it.

0:19:47 > 0:19:49I literally have no idea how that happened.

0:19:49 > 0:19:51Hm! I wonder.

0:19:52 > 0:19:55I know. Oh...

0:19:55 > 0:19:56Tell you what though, oh...

0:19:56 > 0:19:58Did you see what he was wearing?

0:20:01 > 0:20:04Hello? Hello?

0:20:07 > 0:20:08Maybe that's how.

0:20:08 > 0:20:10I'm sorry, Ricky.

0:20:10 > 0:20:12It so won't happen again.

0:20:12 > 0:20:16You need to sort your act out.

0:20:16 > 0:20:18OK, OK. I'm on it.

0:20:19 > 0:20:21Ommm...

0:20:21 > 0:20:23It's the Grand Master.

0:20:23 > 0:20:25Ommm... Whoa!

0:20:25 > 0:20:27I'm OK, man!

0:20:27 > 0:20:30- Greetings, dude!- Hi, Grand Master.

0:20:30 > 0:20:34You're one mystery intruder that I'm a big fan of.

0:20:34 > 0:20:39Thank you! Lesson 721 to enlightenment.

0:20:39 > 0:20:43Mystical monochrome to technicolour masterpiece!

0:20:43 > 0:20:46Magic self-colouring picture.

0:20:46 > 0:20:49Let's do it! Grab a colourful picture

0:20:49 > 0:20:52and cover with a piece of acetate.

0:20:52 > 0:20:57Use a black pen to draw around the picture and any dark features.

0:20:57 > 0:21:00The simpler the picture the better, dudes.

0:21:00 > 0:21:05Grab a piece of paper and cut a thin strip off,

0:21:05 > 0:21:07leaving a little piece at the end.

0:21:08 > 0:21:11Do this on two edges!

0:21:11 > 0:21:14Cut this end into a wiggly line,

0:21:14 > 0:21:17as it will help reveal your picture better.

0:21:17 > 0:21:22Move the acetate and put the black paper on top of your picture and put

0:21:22 > 0:21:25the acetate back on top.

0:21:25 > 0:21:28Tape the two pictures together at one end

0:21:28 > 0:21:33and these little edges at the other to stop the paper falling out.

0:21:35 > 0:21:37Put a frame over the top of your picture

0:21:37 > 0:21:40and use tape to hold it in place

0:21:40 > 0:21:41on just three sides.

0:21:43 > 0:21:45Slide the paper in and out.

0:21:45 > 0:21:48Monochrome to technicolour magic!

0:21:51 > 0:21:55Lesson number 721 complete.

0:21:55 > 0:21:58- My mind is blown, man! - FIREWORKS

0:21:58 > 0:22:00I'm most enlightened.

0:22:01 > 0:22:02Who took your paint pot?

0:22:02 > 0:22:04Search me, dude.

0:22:06 > 0:22:09Ommm...

0:22:09 > 0:22:11Ommm...

0:22:11 > 0:22:13I need to put a stop to this.

0:22:14 > 0:22:16Wait! Come back here!

0:22:16 > 0:22:18CRUNCHING

0:22:18 > 0:22:19What was that noise?

0:22:21 > 0:22:23Oh, a secret super fan!

0:22:23 > 0:22:25Let's see who you are.

0:22:25 > 0:22:27Gav? You're my secret super fan?

0:22:27 > 0:22:30Sorry, Ricks. They got away again.

0:22:30 > 0:22:32Gav! You better have a good explanation for this.

0:22:32 > 0:22:35Well, actually, I spotted the lesser spotted chaffinch

0:22:35 > 0:22:36and I started noting

0:22:36 > 0:22:39it in my bird spotter jotter and...

0:22:39 > 0:22:41Well, they left these.

0:22:42 > 0:22:45"You've been invited to the Art Ninja exhibition

0:22:45 > 0:22:48"from your secret super fan, kiss, kiss, kiss.

0:22:48 > 0:22:50Mm! Three kisses.

0:22:57 > 0:22:58Let's go.

0:23:13 > 0:23:15Ninja skills.

0:23:15 > 0:23:16Where are we?

0:23:17 > 0:23:19It looks like the Tate Liverpool.

0:23:19 > 0:23:21The Art Ninja exhibition must be here.

0:23:30 > 0:23:32Get your Art Ninja badges here!

0:23:32 > 0:23:34Sarah!

0:23:38 > 0:23:42- Er, you're all right...- No, I mean did you put on this exhibition?

0:23:42 > 0:23:44No. I thought you did.

0:23:44 > 0:23:46I got this invite, so I thought I'd sell some Art Ninja merch,

0:23:46 > 0:23:49- make a bit of money.- Well...

0:23:49 > 0:23:50Then who's my super fan?

0:23:50 > 0:23:54I don't know. But they've gone to a lot of effort.

0:23:54 > 0:23:57Although there's not that much actual art,

0:23:57 > 0:23:59considering this is a gallery.

0:23:59 > 0:24:01True, but we can put that right.

0:24:01 > 0:24:03But first, we'd better get our Ninja on.

0:24:11 > 0:24:13Art ninja!

0:24:13 > 0:24:14Strike a pose.

0:24:14 > 0:24:15- BOTH:- Art ninja!

0:24:15 > 0:24:17You're going to have to pay for those.

0:24:20 > 0:24:22Let's make some art.

0:24:22 > 0:24:24But we haven't got any materials.

0:24:24 > 0:24:26We've got balloons.

0:24:26 > 0:24:28Sarah, pop those badges down over there,

0:24:28 > 0:24:30because pins and balloons don't mix.

0:24:30 > 0:24:31Good idea.

0:24:33 > 0:24:35Here you go. Take that and put little strips

0:24:35 > 0:24:37of double sided sticky tape all along one side.

0:24:43 > 0:24:45Come and put yours next to mine, parallel.

0:24:45 > 0:24:47We're going to make a frame.

0:24:49 > 0:24:50There you go, that's nice.

0:24:56 > 0:24:57We want two lines of the darker blue,

0:24:57 > 0:25:00- and then fade it out with the lighter ones.- Fab.

0:25:22 > 0:25:24You're my new mate! Not Ricky.

0:25:24 > 0:25:27"We're way cooler than Ricky is!"

0:25:27 > 0:25:29Er, Gav?

0:26:18 > 0:26:19The finishing touch.

0:26:42 > 0:26:44Hey, Gavin. Come and have a look at the art.

0:26:44 > 0:26:46That's not me. I'm over here.

0:26:46 > 0:26:49Hang on, if that's Gav, who's that?

0:26:49 > 0:26:53Nan? What are you doing here?

0:27:11 > 0:27:13Good plan, Nan. Let's go.

0:27:15 > 0:27:16Where was our invite?

0:27:33 > 0:27:36Still, we made some pretty epic art.

0:27:36 > 0:27:40But if I ever see another balloon it'll be too soon.
