0:10:44 > 0:10:49Then he explained why Miss Hoolie might be fed-up. It's her birthday.

0:16:09 > 0:16:12to find a birthday card from PC Plum.

0:16:12 > 0:16:17Spencer popped in to show me the cut-out boat for the nursery wall.

0:16:17 > 0:16:22He wanted some tips on the size and shape of the sails for his boat.

0:16:22 > 0:16:25He'd obviously forgotten it was my birthday.

0:16:25 > 0:16:30I tried not to look too hurt and suggested he see PC Plum instead,

0:16:30 > 0:16:32who's mad about sailing.

0:16:32 > 0:16:36PC Plum thought Spencer could make a pirate ship

0:16:36 > 0:16:40and showed him a picture book to get ideas.

0:16:40 > 0:16:44Then PC Plum explained why I seemed a little fed-up. It's my birthday.

0:16:44 > 0:16:47Spencer had forgotten all about it.

0:16:47 > 0:16:52So they decided to throw a party to cheer me up - a pirate party!

0:16:52 > 0:16:57Archie agreed to help, and he and Spencer set to work

0:16:57 > 0:17:01making pirate costumes, scarves and hats.

0:17:01 > 0:17:06Later, Spencer returned to the nursery with his finished ship

0:17:06 > 0:17:10and told me to close my eyes for a surprise.

0:17:10 > 0:17:16When I opened them, I saw the fantastic pirate ship he'd made.

0:17:16 > 0:17:21There was Archie and PC Plum AND the children dressed as pirates!

0:17:21 > 0:17:24They all wished me a happy birthday

0:17:24 > 0:17:27and we had a fabulous pirate party!

0:17:29 > 0:17:34They HAD remembered my birthday after all!

0:17:34 > 0:17:38And do you know what? It was the best birthday surprise ever!
