6:03:39 > 6:03:41The pleasure is all ours.

6:03:41 > 6:03:43It's not the first time you've been on the show before?

6:03:43 > 6:03:45No, I came on about four years ago with Billy,

6:03:45 > 6:03:49but we're big fans of the show so it's great to be back.

6:03:49 > 6:03:52And rewind the clock, then, you had Barney the dog

6:03:52 > 6:03:54and you had Helen and you put them through their paces.

6:03:54 > 6:03:57We did and do you know what? Helen done really, really well.

6:03:57 > 6:03:58- She surprised us.- She is very good,

6:03:58 > 6:04:01she always gives it the absolute beans.

6:04:01 > 6:04:03However, normally if you were part of the F2,

6:04:03 > 6:04:06there'd be two of you, there'd be Billy as well.

6:04:06 > 6:04:08Billy couldn't be here cos, sadly, he's at home with his family.

6:04:08 > 6:04:10But together, I think anyone that knows what you do,

6:04:10 > 6:04:13they love the fact that you work together so, so well.

6:04:13 > 6:04:15- What is it that gives you that kind of X factor?- Do you know what?

6:04:15 > 6:04:17We love tekkers and we love banter

6:04:17 > 6:04:21and we combined the two and it just makes for unbelievable content.

6:04:21 > 6:04:23On top of that, we also get to work with the best players

6:04:23 > 6:04:26in the world so that's a big part of it as well.

6:04:26 > 6:04:30And that unbelievable content has made over 700 million views online.

6:04:30 > 6:04:31Yeah, that's right.

6:04:31 > 6:04:34We get over 100 million views every month

6:04:34 > 6:04:38and we've built a social reach to 11.4 million...

6:04:38 > 6:04:40- With your hands in the air. - ..as it stands.

6:04:40 > 6:04:42- It feels good.- It feels good.

6:04:42 > 6:04:45- And as well as that, you're also published authors.- That's right.

6:04:45 > 6:04:47We've got the book right here, feast your eyes on it.

6:04:47 > 6:04:49- What's it all about? - We're so proud of this book.

6:04:49 > 6:04:53Obviously it's called How To Play Like A Pro so it covers that.

6:04:53 > 6:04:56If there's any kids out there who want to know what it takes

6:04:56 > 6:04:59to make it as a pro, we've asked all the pros what they think

6:04:59 > 6:05:01and we've put that in the book. On top of that,

6:05:01 > 6:05:05there's some really juicy stories about our experiences with -

6:05:05 > 6:05:07if you like Messi, if you like Ronaldo,

6:05:07 > 6:05:09- if you like Neymar... - Messi!- ..Pogba,

6:05:09 > 6:05:11there's stories about all of them

6:05:11 > 6:05:14that you've never heard before from our personal experiences.

6:05:14 > 6:05:16So make sure you get your hands on the book.

6:05:16 > 6:05:18It doesn't get much better than those players

6:05:18 > 6:05:21you just mentioned there but as well as that, talking about Blue Peter,

6:05:21 > 6:05:23you'll be doing a challenge right here in the studio

6:05:23 > 6:05:25- later on in the show.- That's right. - So, you up for that?

6:05:25 > 6:05:27- I'm up for it.- Fantastic.- Brilliant. - And to you at home,

6:05:27 > 6:05:30if you have any questions that you would like to ask

6:05:39 > 6:05:41take a look at this now!

6:05:41 > 6:05:47Hey, F2, my question is, who is your favourite ever footballer?

6:05:47 > 6:05:50- Wow.- What a question, Toby. - Toby, what a great question.

6:05:50 > 6:05:53My favourite ever footballer, I'm going to say someone

6:05:53 > 6:05:55- that we've filmed with in the past...- Yes.

6:05:55 > 6:05:58- ..and we also filmed with again two weeks ago.- No.

6:05:58 > 6:06:01And we're posting the video we filmed with them in a few weeks...

6:06:01 > 6:06:03- Behave yourself. - ..it's Lionel Messi.

6:06:03 > 6:06:06- The big man himself, Lionel Messi. - Yes.- I'm excited. Barney.

6:06:06 > 6:06:08Thank you very much, from one legend to another -

6:06:08 > 6:06:11I think Radzi wasn't referring to me, but it kind of works.

6:06:11 > 6:06:13We can talk about Charlotte as if she's a legend.

6:06:13 > 6:06:14Look at the picture she's sent in, it's amazing.

6:06:14 > 6:06:17It is a Blue Peter themed Olympic pic.

6:06:17 > 6:06:19We've got a podium, Blue Peter and a gold medal.

6:06:19 > 6:06:22Congratulations, you've got a Blue Peter badge on its way to you.

6:06:22 > 6:06:24Now, someone who's really special is Tom from Norwich.

6:06:24 > 6:06:26He's 11 and he's done this poster.

6:06:26 > 6:06:30- Now, it's wishing Blue Peter a happy 58th birthday.- Yay!

6:06:30 > 6:06:33- Cos on Sunday, Blue Peter was 58. - Happy birthday, Blue Peter!

6:06:33 > 6:06:35- Yay!- Happy birthday.- So thank you very much for that, Tom.

6:06:35 > 6:06:36You've got a Blue badge.

6:06:36 > 6:06:39It's also our camera guy's birthday today, as well - Adrian.

6:06:39 > 6:06:41Happy birthday, Adrian! CHEERING

6:06:41 > 6:06:44He's doing this shot right now, he's very good.

6:06:44 > 6:06:46James from Bristol, you genius, salute you,

6:06:46 > 6:06:48look what you've sent into us.

6:06:48 > 6:06:50You've actually made this on a chopping board,

6:06:50 > 6:06:52inspired by Liz Pichon,

6:06:52 > 6:06:55clearly a lot of the Big Badge Wall is inspired by Liz Pichon

6:06:55 > 6:06:58and you are a genius. But, Jez, the question is over to you,

6:06:58 > 6:07:01Abigail from Surrey sent in this colossus clock,

6:07:01 > 6:07:03what do you like so much about it?

6:07:03 > 6:07:05Well, the reason why I've picked this clock out

6:07:05 > 6:07:07is because she's used the glitter, it's so sparkly

6:07:07 > 6:07:10and the first thing I saw when I looked at this,

6:07:10 > 6:07:12I was drawn to the clock, it stands out.

6:07:12 > 6:07:14- So that's my favourite.- Like a disco clock, it's really nice.

6:07:14 > 6:07:16- Barney, was it new or was it second-hand?- No, stop it.

6:07:16 > 6:07:19Hey, very good. You can have that one, high-fives all round.

6:07:19 > 6:07:21Olivia, who's nine, over here

6:07:21 > 6:07:24has done a really actually very beautiful picture

6:07:24 > 6:07:26of me doing a not-so beautiful sport,

6:07:26 > 6:07:29deer calling. Where I made this noise, "Guuuuh!"

6:07:29 > 6:07:32And I like how she's spelt it because that's how it sounded.

6:07:32 > 6:07:33It does.

6:07:33 > 6:07:36Isabel, you're a hero, thank you so much, you've got a badge.

6:07:36 > 6:07:39And as well as post, we've another question in for Jez.

6:07:39 > 6:07:42Hi, F2, my name's Harrison and this is William.

6:07:42 > 6:07:45What was the toughest skill you learned?

6:07:45 > 6:07:47- Ooh, these are good questions.- Wow.

6:07:47 > 6:07:50Hello, Harrison. Hello, William.

6:07:50 > 6:07:55I'm going to say the toughest skill is doing skills with my buddy Billy

6:07:55 > 6:07:58at exactly the same time. It's so hard,

6:07:58 > 6:08:01that's why you don't see very many people in the world doing it.

6:08:01 > 6:08:03We've spent years mastering it

6:08:03 > 6:08:08and I'd say doing skills in synchrony with your buddy

6:08:08 > 6:08:11- is the hardest skill. - It is off the charts.- Yeah.

6:08:11 > 6:08:13- It looks awesome.- Now, guys, I don't want to alarm you,

6:08:13 > 6:08:15- I know we're live, Barney... - I'm alarmed!

6:08:15 > 6:08:17..but something's happened to your Blue Peter badge.

6:08:17 > 6:08:19- I'm a bit worried.- Oh, you've spotted that, have you?

6:08:19 > 6:08:21- What have you done? - Don't worry.- Really?- It's all good.

6:08:21 > 6:08:23- I tell you what.- OK. - Take this tablet.- Yeah.

6:08:23 > 6:08:25You'll notice there's an app running on it,

6:08:25 > 6:08:27all you've got to do is point that - as in point the camera...

6:08:27 > 6:08:29- What?- ..at my badge and watch what happens.

6:08:29 > 6:08:31- OK, let's give it a go, see what happens. Hold it up.- Yeah.

6:08:31 > 6:08:32Hold it and watch what happens.

6:08:32 > 6:08:35- BLUE PETER THEME PLAYS - Whoa!

6:08:35 > 6:08:38- How cool is that?- What just happened? That was great.

6:08:38 > 6:08:40That is an augmented reality Blue Peter badge.

6:08:40 > 6:08:44- If you want to find out how we did this, watch this.- Wow.

6:08:46 > 6:08:49# When Barney comes down to the woods today

6:08:49 > 6:08:52# He's in for a big surprise... #

6:08:52 > 6:08:56But this is no teddy bears' picnic - in fact, the creatures that are here

6:08:56 > 6:09:00are a little bit bigger than teddy bears and they're a lot scarier.

6:09:00 > 6:09:01One word...

6:09:01 > 6:09:02dragon.

6:09:02 > 6:09:04ROARING

6:09:06 > 6:09:08I'm visiting Dragon Matrix.

6:09:08 > 6:09:12It began as a fantasy comic, but has now been turned into

6:09:12 > 6:09:16what is claimed to be a fully interactive experience

6:09:16 > 6:09:18at this forest near Dundee.

6:09:18 > 6:09:20So, how do you do that?

6:09:20 > 6:09:23Well, I've come to meet creator Simon to find out more.

6:09:23 > 6:09:25If you were to explain it as an experience,

6:09:25 > 6:09:27let's say somebody who's heard of Dragon Matrix

6:09:27 > 6:09:28but they don't know what is,

6:09:28 > 6:09:30how would you explain to them what it is?

6:09:30 > 6:09:33Well, I would say it's like a computer game

6:09:33 > 6:09:34that's come to life.

6:09:34 > 6:09:37So don't sit in your bedroom, come out into the woods at night

6:09:37 > 6:09:41in the dark where it's a bit scary and it's not over-lit

6:09:41 > 6:09:42and you're going around with a torch

6:09:42 > 6:09:45and suddenly you discover all these amazing things.

6:09:45 > 6:09:48Overlaying that whole thing is this augmented reality world.

6:09:48 > 6:09:50You find these creatures in the woods

6:09:50 > 6:09:54and they give you messages and guide you on your way.

6:09:54 > 6:09:56So, the comic has been turned into an app

6:09:56 > 6:10:00that lets adventurers experience it as they move through the trees

6:10:00 > 6:10:03and it's all down to augmented reality.

6:10:03 > 6:10:05But what on earth is that?

6:10:05 > 6:10:09Well, if app designer Colin can't tell us, no-one can.

6:10:09 > 6:10:12Augmented reality is a technique

6:10:12 > 6:10:15where you can bring computer animated creatures,

6:10:15 > 6:10:18models and graphics into our world

6:10:18 > 6:10:20and you can see the results on your device's camera.

6:10:20 > 6:10:23All you have to do is point your camera on your device at this,

6:10:23 > 6:10:26- it's a matrix marker. - OK, shall I do that?

6:10:26 > 6:10:28- Yes.- OK.- See what happens.

6:10:29 > 6:10:32Something magical... Here we are. A cat has appeared.

6:10:32 > 6:10:34Yes, that is a Cheshire cat.

6:10:34 > 6:10:35Amazing.

6:10:35 > 6:10:38The guys here have taken this technology

6:10:38 > 6:10:40and moved the adventure into the woods.

6:10:40 > 6:10:43Players scan a series of boards along a route.

6:10:43 > 6:10:47With each one, new characters appear, and the ultimate goal...

6:10:47 > 6:10:49is to find a dragon.

6:10:49 > 6:10:51I'm told that to get the full effect,

6:10:51 > 6:10:53you have to wait for darkness.

6:10:54 > 6:10:58I cannot wait to have a go for myself.

6:10:58 > 6:11:01So, it's five hours later, it is completely dark.

6:11:01 > 6:11:03Let's go find a dragon.

6:11:03 > 6:11:06Will you come with me, though, cos I'm scared? OK.

6:11:06 > 6:11:08Luckily, I won't be on my own.

6:11:08 > 6:11:12Joining me on my quest are Elwyn, Adam and Ben.

6:11:12 > 6:11:15All new recruits to the Dragon Protection League

6:11:15 > 6:11:18begin their training here at the Dragon Museum.

6:11:20 > 6:11:21We arrive at marker number one

6:11:21 > 6:11:26and meet the first of 20 digital characters along the trail.

6:11:26 > 6:11:28It just says "Welcome to the Dragon Protection League."

6:11:28 > 6:11:31OK. Oh, he's the head of the Dragon Protection League.

6:11:31 > 6:11:35- So what now, do we go through? What do you reckon?- Yeah.- Yeah.

6:11:35 > 6:11:36I've been in the woods all day,

6:11:36 > 6:11:39but the special effects the guys have used here

6:11:39 > 6:11:42have totally transformed the atmosphere.

6:11:42 > 6:11:46It's even more scary at night, because it's night-time.

6:11:46 > 6:11:49Even though I understand a little about how the technology works,

6:11:49 > 6:11:50I am totally absorbed.

6:11:52 > 6:11:55Troll alert, please take care.

6:11:55 > 6:11:58Apparently we've just had a troll alert.

6:11:58 > 6:12:00But as well as the computer-generated trolls,

6:12:00 > 6:12:03the creators say that it's the real-life actors

6:12:03 > 6:12:06you meet along the way that make the experience original.

6:12:08 > 6:12:10Blue Peter, stay safe.

6:12:10 > 6:12:14Stay on the path and beware of the trolls.

6:12:14 > 6:12:18'That beard is definitely not made by a computer.

6:12:18 > 6:12:21'It's fascinating to see technology and clever design

6:12:21 > 6:12:23'being used to build another world.'

6:12:23 > 6:12:26It's like one huge Blue Peter make,

6:12:26 > 6:12:28so much creativity has gone into making the Dragon Matrix

6:12:28 > 6:12:31a real world, and if you look at these lamps, for example,

6:12:31 > 6:12:34that are hanging from the trees, they're actually milk bottles.

6:12:34 > 6:12:37So what do you reckon's in here?

6:12:37 > 6:12:40'As our trail comes to an end, we find our dragon.

6:12:40 > 6:12:42'But this isn't quite the last stop.'

6:12:42 > 6:12:45There's one more matrix to look at...

6:12:45 > 6:12:47which is actually really cool.

6:12:47 > 6:12:50'And with a scan of a special final marker,

6:12:50 > 6:12:53'Blue Peter has its own part of the story.'

6:12:53 > 6:12:58BLUE PETER THEME PLAYS

6:12:58 > 6:12:59How good is that?

6:12:59 > 6:13:02BLUE PETER THEME PLAYS

6:13:02 > 6:13:03That's so cool.

6:13:03 > 6:13:05'But what did my fellow adventurers think?'

6:13:05 > 6:13:07CAMERA CLICKS

6:13:07 > 6:13:10It was a good experience, like, they're cool

6:13:10 > 6:13:13and you actually get to interact with whatever's on your device.

6:13:13 > 6:13:16I thought it was amazing with the mythical creatures.

6:13:16 > 6:13:19It's really cool how the real world is put together

6:13:19 > 6:13:21with animated images.

6:13:22 > 6:13:25I have to say, that genuinely was an amazing experience,

6:13:25 > 6:13:28augmented reality bringing this virtual world

6:13:28 > 6:13:30of trolls, witches and dragons to life.

6:13:30 > 6:13:32And, by the way, I wasn't really scared.

6:13:34 > 6:13:36Oh, my goodness!

6:13:36 > 6:13:37Scaredy-cat.

6:13:37 > 6:13:40- Yeah, I had to change my underpants pretty soon after that.- Barney!

6:13:40 > 6:13:43That was pretty scary. Now, let's talk about a competition.

6:13:43 > 6:13:46Back in September, we launched the Blue Peter Big Day Out competition,

6:13:46 > 6:13:47the chance for you to design a poster

6:13:47 > 6:13:49that would be seen by millions of people

6:13:49 > 6:13:51on the Underground stations across London.

6:13:51 > 6:13:53- Now, this is so cool, isn't it? - It's really good.

6:13:53 > 6:13:55We had over 3,000 entries in the end,

6:13:55 > 6:13:57so I'm not sure how the judges managed

6:13:57 > 6:13:58- to really whittle it down. - It was hard.

6:13:58 > 6:13:59But in the end they did,

6:13:59 > 6:14:02so let's have a look at our runners-up.

6:14:02 > 6:14:04- Wow.- So we have three age categories.

6:14:04 > 6:14:07We have the 6-8s, we have the 9-11s and the 12 to 15.

6:14:07 > 6:14:09You can see here, looking at the 6-8 category,

6:14:09 > 6:14:12- I mean, the standard.- Look at all the colour.- Unbelievable.

6:14:12 > 6:14:14And everyone's really got the same idea, as well -

6:14:14 > 6:14:17- it has to be an eye-catching design. - Yeah, lots of buses.

6:14:17 > 6:14:19Has to stand out. I love that bottom-right one

6:14:19 > 6:14:20- with the silhouetting on it. - Lots of Big Bens.

6:14:20 > 6:14:22Very clever use of silhouette there.

6:14:22 > 6:14:2412-15, you can see a bit more detail in these pictures.

6:14:24 > 6:14:27You can see all the iconic landmarks in those, they're amazing.

6:14:27 > 6:14:29- I don't how the judges chose. - It was very, very tough.

6:14:29 > 6:14:31But we did manage to get them down to the top three,

6:14:31 > 6:14:33- would you like to see those? - I would love to, Barney.

6:14:33 > 6:14:35Follow us down here, we've got our own Badge Wall for this.

6:14:35 > 6:14:37OK, I'm going to do the big reveal.

6:14:37 > 6:14:41- Here we go.- For the 6-8 category, the winner was...

6:14:41 > 6:14:42- Max.- Yay!

6:14:42 > 6:14:44So he was our favourite out of that age category,

6:14:44 > 6:14:45for very good reason.

6:14:45 > 6:14:48This is, I think, brilliant, because it's got eyes and character.

6:14:48 > 6:14:51- We love googly eyes on Blue Peter. - When you go and see the landmarks,

6:14:51 > 6:14:52you don't think about them seeing you,

6:14:52 > 6:14:54you think about you seeing them,

6:14:54 > 6:14:55but Max has turned that on its head,

6:14:55 > 6:14:57he's put "Travel around London and let the sights see you."

6:14:57 > 6:14:59- It's brilliant.- So much detail

6:14:59 > 6:15:01- and there's a wiggly worm in it, so it's a winner for me.- Exactly.

6:15:01 > 6:15:02Let's have a look at this one.

6:15:02 > 6:15:06In the 9 to 11 category, it's Oliver from Manchester.

6:15:06 > 6:15:08Can I just point out that, firstly,

6:15:08 > 6:15:10Oliver has nearly all of the Blue Peter badges,

6:15:10 > 6:15:11so he's a bit of a legend?

6:15:11 > 6:15:13As well as that, you can tell that he's really...

6:15:13 > 6:15:15- He's really done his homework. - He's done everything.

6:15:15 > 6:15:18There's the landmarks, and he's got the facts in there.

6:15:18 > 6:15:20It's brilliant, Oliver, you're a legend, very well done.

6:15:20 > 6:15:22It works very well as a poster, that, as well.

6:15:22 > 6:15:24- Could you do the big reveal for me, please?- Ready?

6:15:24 > 6:15:26- Esha.- Yay!

6:15:26 > 6:15:29With a beautiful design. There's so many little bits of detail in this.

6:15:29 > 6:15:31- Unbelievable.- I used to have a poster when I was younger,

6:15:31 > 6:15:32I used to try and find a duck.

6:15:32 > 6:15:34Every time you look at this you find something different.

6:15:34 > 6:15:37Look, there's somebody having a selfie outside Number Ten.

6:15:37 > 6:15:39- Wow!- There's people walking on the road.- In the puddles

6:15:39 > 6:15:41- and it's raining, of course. - There's the Underground.

6:15:41 > 6:15:44They're all just absolutely brilliant but, of course...

6:15:44 > 6:15:46- There can only be... - BOTH: One winner.

6:15:46 > 6:15:47- It's like we've done it before. - That was weird.

6:15:47 > 6:15:49- We hadn't practised that. - It worked really well.

6:15:49 > 6:15:51I wonder if the drumroll will happen now.

6:15:51 > 6:15:53DRUMROLL Oh, it did.

6:15:53 > 6:15:55This is going so well. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

6:15:55 > 6:15:58the winner of the Blue Peter Big Day Out competition is...

6:15:58 > 6:16:00Max! APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

6:16:02 > 6:16:05- Yay! Mate, you are a genius.- Max! - Welcome to the studio.

6:16:05 > 6:16:08You look so excited. Thank you for coming on Blue Peter today

6:16:08 > 6:16:11and well done for your incredible design.

6:16:11 > 6:16:12How does it feel that, as of tomorrow,

6:16:12 > 6:16:16everyone's going to be able to see your design on a poster in London?

6:16:16 > 6:16:19- Is that pretty cool?- Yeah!

6:16:19 > 6:16:22- Bet you can't wait, can you? - Max, tell me about the eyes,

6:16:22 > 6:16:24why did you decide to put eyes on the landmarks?

6:16:24 > 6:16:30Because I tried it with just the buildings,

6:16:30 > 6:16:34- but it didn't stand out... - Of course.

6:16:34 > 6:16:36..so I put the eyes on to make it stand out.

6:16:36 > 6:16:38It's a touch of genius, it really is.

6:16:38 > 6:16:41It's quite literally eye-catching. It's very clever.

6:16:41 > 6:16:42Can you read something for me as well?

6:16:42 > 6:16:44Just read this bit here.

6:16:44 > 6:16:47"Travel around London and let the sights see you!"

6:16:47 > 6:16:49Max, there are professionals that couldn't do it as well

6:16:49 > 6:16:53- as you've done it. It's absolutely genius.- Are you sure you're not 25?

6:16:53 > 6:16:56Yes, have you done this before? Are you a professional?

6:16:56 > 6:16:57Now, the great thing about this is,

6:16:57 > 6:16:59it is going to be seen by millions of people -

6:16:59 > 6:17:01and we're actually going to London tonight

6:17:01 > 6:17:03so that tomorrow we get an access all areas tour

6:17:03 > 6:17:06of London Underground and next week, you get to see that film.

6:17:06 > 6:17:07Now, I've got to say, Max,

6:17:07 > 6:17:09there's one reason today I'm wearing dungarees -

6:17:09 > 6:17:11it's because, inside, I've got a little present for you.

6:17:11 > 6:17:14It is your very own Orange badge. Well done, Max.

6:17:14 > 6:17:16APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Well done, mate.

6:17:16 > 6:17:19And if you see Max's design when you're out and about in London,

6:17:19 > 6:17:22take a selfie, take a pic and let us know. Well done, buddy.

6:17:22 > 6:17:24That's a great idea and you can see the runners-up

6:17:24 > 6:17:26and, of course, the winners online on the Blue Peter website

6:17:26 > 6:17:29in their very special gallery so make sure you're watching that.

6:17:29 > 6:17:31Radzi.

6:17:31 > 6:17:33I'm always amazed at just how talented

6:17:33 > 6:17:36so many of the Blue Peter viewers, you, are.

6:17:36 > 6:17:39Now, though, when you are joined by one half of the F2 Freestylers,

6:17:39 > 6:17:42it would be rude not to set them a challenge,

6:17:42 > 6:17:44and, courtesy of you at home, we have done just that.

6:17:44 > 6:17:46We've teamed up with Match Of The Day Kickabout

6:17:46 > 6:17:49and we're calling this the Football Freestyle Showdown.

6:17:49 > 6:17:50Yes, indeedy-doodly.

6:17:50 > 6:17:52It will work very, very simply

6:17:52 > 6:17:54because you've, all week, been sending in

6:17:54 > 6:17:55your silky football skills.

6:17:55 > 6:17:58We picked out a few of them and we're going to ask Jez later on

6:17:58 > 6:18:03to put them together back-to-back in one single routine - one chance.

6:18:03 > 6:18:06Let's take a look at these clips.

6:18:06 > 6:18:07So here we have the first trick.

6:18:07 > 6:18:10- James and Tobi, what are we seeing here, Jez?- Wow, love that.

6:18:10 > 6:18:13So that's the Around The World. They've obviously mastered that.

6:18:13 > 6:18:16That's a little bit of a tricky one for their age, as well.

6:18:16 > 6:18:18In fact, so, if I hold the ball here...

6:18:18 > 6:18:20- You can't practice, these are the rules.- Yeah.

6:18:20 > 6:18:22But could you show us how you do that or what you need to do?

6:18:22 > 6:18:25Sure, of course. So I would say the key point for Around The World

6:18:25 > 6:18:28is when you do make contact with the ball, don't hit it central,

6:18:28 > 6:18:31go slightly off centre and what that will allow you to do

6:18:31 > 6:18:34is kick the ball up, but also bring your whole foot around the ball.

6:18:34 > 6:18:37Thank you, there's a top tip right there. Next trick.

6:18:40 > 6:18:45Oh, yes, Brooke and David, they've just smashed out the Rainbow Flick.

6:18:45 > 6:18:46- Love that. - And clearly Brooke loves that.

6:18:46 > 6:18:49She's got the confidence as well, she's just like, "Yeah."

6:18:49 > 6:18:50- Absolutely!- Yeah.

6:18:50 > 6:18:53- Can we see...?- That just happened.

6:18:53 > 6:18:55A tip for that would be, I'd say...

6:18:55 > 6:18:57I like to put it at the back of my heel

6:18:57 > 6:19:00but, again, slightly off centre and then look for the ankle,

6:19:00 > 6:19:02put that on the ball and you are set up to roll the ball up

6:19:02 > 6:19:04- and, bang. Here we go. - So it's slightly in front.

6:19:04 > 6:19:06Slightly in front and off centre, yeah.

6:19:06 > 6:19:09- Thank you very much, sir.- Yep. - It's time for trick number three.

6:19:09 > 6:19:11Remember, you have to do all these back-to-back

6:19:11 > 6:19:13in your own order.

6:19:13 > 6:19:15So that's Connor.

6:19:15 > 6:19:16OK, so what Connor's gone for there

6:19:16 > 6:19:18is a bit of, a nice bit of footwork.

6:19:18 > 6:19:20He's done some step overs as well. Out of all the tricks,

6:19:20 > 6:19:23the step overs, I would say, they are the most match applicable.

6:19:23 > 6:19:26So if want to beat your defender. Boom!

6:19:26 > 6:19:29And what is it about Cristiano Ronaldo that makes him so effective,

6:19:29 > 6:19:30cos he's off the charts?

6:19:30 > 6:19:32He loves a step over - and I'll tell you what,

6:19:32 > 6:19:35when he smashes out a step over, he puts his whole body into it

6:19:35 > 6:19:37so the defender, "See you later."

6:19:37 > 6:19:39- He's gone, he's gone to the shop. - Goodnight, Vienna.

6:19:39 > 6:19:42- See you later, mate. Thanks for coming.- Trick number four.

6:19:43 > 6:19:46- OK, here's...- Euan looks... Oh, he's comfortable.

6:19:46 > 6:19:47He's just smashed that Touzani.

6:19:47 > 6:19:50That trick was hard, by the way.

6:19:50 > 6:19:53That's a tough trick, I tell you what, when I was Euan's age,

6:19:53 > 6:19:56- I couldn't do that so...- There you go. You heard it here first.

6:19:56 > 6:19:58Euan, you are very talented, my friend.

6:19:58 > 6:20:00Now the time for the final trick.

6:20:02 > 6:20:04- Oh!- Stop it.

6:20:04 > 6:20:06He's got it more than once.

6:20:06 > 6:20:07Luca, get out, fella.

6:20:07 > 6:20:10- Get out! - Right, OK, so it's official.

6:20:10 > 6:20:12What we'll do is we will source a wheelie bin

6:20:12 > 6:20:15and you'll have to put a wheelie shot in your routine,

6:20:15 > 6:20:17- are you up for it?- Mate, get on the phone to the council,

6:20:17 > 6:20:19all right, because I am up for this challenge.

6:20:19 > 6:20:21Get the wheelie bin in, let's do the thing.

6:20:21 > 6:20:23It is time to do it. I think it's that time of year again.

6:20:23 > 6:20:26I know what you're talking about, it's Christmas, aren't you?

6:20:26 > 6:20:29It's that time of year. You come down the stairs at 5:30am,

6:20:29 > 6:20:30unless you haven't got stairs in your house,

6:20:30 > 6:20:33then you open your presents and you all sit round having a singsong.

6:20:33 > 6:20:35- Barn.- I wondered when you were going to stop me.

6:20:35 > 6:20:38- I'm talking about Children In Need. - Oh, that's just as exciting!

6:20:38 > 6:20:41- Yeah.- I'd like a pony, though.

6:20:41 > 6:20:45Children In Need 2016 is almost here and we want you to do...

6:20:45 > 6:20:47Did someone say goo?

6:20:47 > 6:20:49Oh, Radz, it's DO your thing.

6:20:49 > 6:20:51Oh.

6:20:51 > 6:20:52You could make a cake.

6:20:52 > 6:20:54With a special ingredient...

6:20:54 > 6:20:55goo.

6:20:55 > 6:20:58You could put on a fancy dress costume.

6:20:58 > 6:21:01- By wearing goo.- No, Radz.- Oh.

6:21:01 > 6:21:03Or you could do a sponsored silence.

6:21:06 > 6:21:09So whatever you're doing for Children In Need,

6:21:09 > 6:21:11we want to know about it.

6:21:11 > 6:21:13All you have to do is go on the Blue Peter website,

6:21:13 > 6:21:15print out your template and send us your...

6:21:17 > 6:21:19- Goo!- Yeah, that's your bit, Radz.

6:21:19 > 6:21:20Get creative, decorate your goo,

6:21:20 > 6:21:23cut it out and send it to us, along with your pledge slip

6:21:23 > 6:21:26and tell us what you're doing to raise money for Children In Need.

6:21:26 > 6:21:28When you've done that, the address you need is...

6:21:32 > 6:21:35We want to cover the entire Blue Peter studio in your goo

6:21:35 > 6:21:37for the Children In Need special.

6:21:37 > 6:21:39Send it to us, please, by 16th November.

6:21:39 > 6:21:43So go on and do your thing for Children In Need.

6:21:43 > 6:21:44Yeah, GOO on.

6:21:46 > 6:21:48- You're so funny, Barney. - I write all my own comedy.

6:21:48 > 6:21:51We can tell. OK, so, this year for Children In Need,

6:21:51 > 6:21:53we want you to do your thing or GOO your thing.

6:21:53 > 6:21:57- No, please come back, cos I need you for this bit...- Yeah, you do.

6:21:57 > 6:21:59We want you to create your very own goo splats.

6:21:59 > 6:22:01Loads of you have been getting in touch, as you can see,

6:22:01 > 6:22:04cos you've splattered our big Blue Peter Badge Wall over here.

6:22:04 > 6:22:07If you haven't got in touch, that's OK, there's still plenty of time.

6:22:07 > 6:22:09Go to the Blue Peter website, here are the details.

6:22:09 > 6:22:13You've got to download your template, print it out, cut it out

6:22:13 > 6:22:15and stick something on it that's really pretty and send it to us.

6:22:15 > 6:22:18We'll put it onto our wall, like Louise has done here

6:22:18 > 6:22:20and on the back you need to write down what you're going to do

6:22:20 > 6:22:22to raise money. Louise is doing an 11-mile cycle ride.

6:22:22 > 6:22:26- That's the hefty ride. Good luck. - We've got rainbow and a pot of gold,

6:22:26 > 6:22:28to symbolise the money she's making, I guess.

6:22:28 > 6:22:30This one down here is quite hypnotic, this one.

6:22:30 > 6:22:33I stared at this one before for five hours and on the back of it,

6:22:33 > 6:22:35it's told us that she is doing a pyjama party at school.

6:22:35 > 6:22:37- Ooh.- Which is good. - We should do that on BP.

6:22:37 > 6:22:39- I'd love to. Onesies!- OK, fine.

6:22:39 > 6:22:42This one's from DanTDM.

6:22:42 > 6:22:43I'm being serious, he did this.

6:22:43 > 6:22:46You can see his little diamond in the middle,

6:22:46 > 6:22:47he's done these buttons that he's stuck on

6:22:47 > 6:22:49and the lightning bolt, it's very cool.

6:22:49 > 6:22:51And if you want to see what happened when DanTDM

6:22:51 > 6:22:54and Ricky from the Kaiser Chiefs, an unlikely pairing,

6:22:54 > 6:22:56got together and made these little goo splats,

6:22:56 > 6:22:58you can go online and do it.

6:22:58 > 6:23:00- Linds.- Yes.- I've got a joke for you.

6:23:00 > 6:23:02- OK.- What do the trolls say to the Blue Peter presenter?

6:23:02 > 6:23:05- I don't know.- Run VT. - I don't get it.

6:23:05 > 6:23:08No, I meant actually run the VT cos you'll find out why that's funny.

6:23:08 > 6:23:10I don't get it.

6:23:10 > 6:23:13My name is Branch and I'm a troll.

6:23:13 > 6:23:17This autumn sees the arrival of the trolls to our big screens.

6:23:17 > 6:23:20In this hair-raising comedy adventure,

6:23:20 > 6:23:23the trolls see their world under attack from the evil Bergens.

6:23:23 > 6:23:26Branch, we just got attacked by a Bergen.

6:23:26 > 6:23:28- A Bergen.- It took everybody.

6:23:28 > 6:23:30Dad!

6:23:30 > 6:23:33And an unlikely duo have to unite to save their village.

6:23:33 > 6:23:36So I've come to meet two of the biggest names in Hollywood

6:23:36 > 6:23:40and two stars of Trolls, Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick.

6:23:40 > 6:23:43Justin, Anna, absolute pleasure to meet you.

6:23:43 > 6:23:46- We've come from Blue Peter. Yes. - Is that a Blue Peter badge?

6:23:46 > 6:23:48- There you go.- Can I have one? - Of course you can.

6:23:48 > 6:23:51- Thank you.- I'd like one too. - And here you go, Justin.

6:23:51 > 6:23:53- I thought you maybe only came with one.- Not at all.

6:23:53 > 6:23:57Wait, if I wear this all day, are other TV shows going to be jealous?

6:23:57 > 6:23:59- Super jealous.- It actually looks perfect with that outfit.

6:23:59 > 6:24:01- Like it belongs?- Yeah.

6:24:01 > 6:24:03- What's your plan?- To rescue everybody and make it home safely.

6:24:03 > 6:24:05We did it!

6:24:05 > 6:24:08So you're going to scrapbook them to freedom?

6:24:08 > 6:24:09Solid burn, Branch.

6:24:09 > 6:24:12So Justin, you play Branch, Anna, you play Poppy.

6:24:12 > 6:24:15In one word, how would you describe your characters?

6:24:15 > 6:24:17- Grumpy.- OK.

6:24:17 > 6:24:19- Joyful. - Well, we'd like to change that,

6:24:19 > 6:24:22we'd like to change Branch and so we thought how can we best do that?

6:24:22 > 6:24:24- Of course with British humour.- Oh.

6:24:24 > 6:24:29So we asked the Blue Peter viewers to send in their best one line gags

6:24:29 > 6:24:32and we thought you could tell us which ones you think

6:24:32 > 6:24:35are the best that might make Branch, possibly, less grumpy.

6:24:35 > 6:24:38- Do you want me to go first?- Yes.- OK.

6:24:38 > 6:24:41What did the buffalo say to his son when he left for college?

6:24:42 > 6:24:44BISON!

6:24:44 > 6:24:46- Oh.- Oh!

6:24:46 > 6:24:49Do you want to hear a joke about a broken pencil?

6:24:49 > 6:24:50Yes, please.

6:24:50 > 6:24:53- Never mind, it's pointless.- Hey!

6:24:53 > 6:24:55Why did the shark not eat a clown?

6:24:56 > 6:24:58Because he tasted funny.

6:24:59 > 6:25:02- I like... - Oh, that's some gentle humour.- Yeah.

6:25:02 > 6:25:03That's some gentle humour.

6:25:03 > 6:25:05Why did the chicken cross the road?

6:25:05 > 6:25:08Cos he couldn't stop the feeling.

6:25:08 > 6:25:10- Oh, playing the crowd.- Oh! - Playing the crowd.

6:25:10 > 6:25:11Knows his audience.

6:25:11 > 6:25:13Why do elephants have trunks?

6:25:14 > 6:25:16Well, they'd look really funny with suitcases.

6:25:16 > 6:25:18Of course they would.

6:25:18 > 6:25:20What is it called when a cat wins a dog show?

6:25:22 > 6:25:25- A cat-has-trophy!- Oh!

6:25:25 > 6:25:27Oh, that is...

6:25:27 > 6:25:29- That's a phonetic joke, that one. - That was a deep joke.

6:25:29 > 6:25:31That's like a two-parter.

6:25:31 > 6:25:33Do we think any of these possibly has turned Branch

6:25:33 > 6:25:35from the dull colour to the bright blue?

6:25:35 > 6:25:37- The pointless pencil. - Yeah, that one got me.

6:25:37 > 6:25:38- Done.- It's a classic.

6:25:38 > 6:25:41So, pointless joke wasn't pointless, it was-spot on.

6:25:41 > 6:25:43Well, Justin and Anna, thank you very, very much.

6:25:43 > 6:25:46It's been an absolute pleasure and you're now proud owners

6:25:46 > 6:25:49- of the Blue Peter badge.- Thank you. - This is solid right here.

6:25:53 > 6:25:55Cupcake?

6:25:55 > 6:25:57OK, well, don't eat a cupcake if it comes out of a bot-bot,

6:25:57 > 6:26:01- especially if it's a chocolate one. - Those two were very funny indeed

6:26:01 > 6:26:03and if you'd like to see more where that came from,

6:26:03 > 6:26:05jump onto the Blue Peter website

6:26:05 > 6:26:07where we did a quickfire question around.

6:26:07 > 6:26:10We saw Justin Timberlake talking about jelly.

6:26:10 > 6:26:11Now, earlier in the show,

6:26:11 > 6:26:15we asked you guys to ask this guy over here your "questiones".

6:26:15 > 6:26:17His name's Jez, he's a football freestyling legend

6:26:17 > 6:26:20so let's kick off with BeigeAthleticBear

6:26:20 > 6:26:23who says, "What's the favourite thing about what you do?"

6:26:23 > 6:26:25Favourite thing about what I do. What a great question.

6:26:25 > 6:26:31I would say all of the top-level players that we get to film with.

6:26:31 > 6:26:35- Incredible.- That's so fun, yeah. - JediJumpingMeerkat...- Nice.- ..says,

6:26:35 > 6:26:38"How did you get into freestyling?"

6:26:38 > 6:26:41I saw a commercial when I was quite young,

6:26:41 > 6:26:43I think I was ten years old at the time

6:26:43 > 6:26:45and I wanted to do the trick so I got a ball,

6:26:45 > 6:26:48went outside and started trying them. It was that simple.

6:26:48 > 6:26:49- Practice, practice, practice. - That's it.

6:26:49 > 6:26:52It's amazing what a difference being inspired at ten years old

6:26:52 > 6:26:54can make to your life. You either want to do it or you don't.

6:26:54 > 6:26:57- Kieran says, "What's an easy...?" - Why are you still wearing this hat?

6:26:57 > 6:27:01It's really cosy. "What's an easy move that someone could master?"

6:27:01 > 6:27:03So basics, I guess, where you could start.

6:27:03 > 6:27:05I would say everyone should start with kick ups,

6:27:05 > 6:27:06that's the foundation of everything.

6:27:06 > 6:27:08I can't even do that, and I've tried so much.

6:27:08 > 6:27:10Yeah, once you learn how to do some kick ups,

6:27:10 > 6:27:13- then you're ready to move on to actual creative skills, yeah.- OK.

6:27:13 > 6:27:15- Nice.- My final question is,
