7:00:30 > 7:00:31Coming up on today's show,
7:00:31 > 7:00:34we've got some amazing camera tech from BBC One's The Hunt.
7:00:34 > 7:00:37I take to the skies with one of these amazing flying cameras.
7:00:37 > 7:00:41- I want one! - How hard can this camera lark be?
7:00:41 > 7:00:43You need to... No, no, you need to...
7:00:57 > 7:01:00CHEERING
7:01:00 > 7:01:03- Hello! Welcome!- Hello.
7:01:03 > 7:01:05You are watching Blue Peter. You know that.
7:01:05 > 7:01:07It is live.
7:01:07 > 7:01:11You will see two of my favourite things, gadgets and going fast.
7:01:11 > 7:01:14Stay tuned and I'll tell you all about it later.
7:01:14 > 7:01:18We will also be revealing the winner of our totally wild
7:01:18 > 7:01:20Wolfblood competition.
7:01:20 > 7:01:23One of you will get the chance to appear in the new series.
7:01:23 > 7:01:26That is in 20 minutes' time. Keep watching!
7:01:26 > 7:01:29Look who is back in the studio, it's little Iggy!
7:01:29 > 7:01:32Hello, how are you doing?
7:01:32 > 7:01:35She has been doing a brilliant job.
7:01:35 > 7:01:38Training hard, making new friends, and she has moved house.
7:01:38 > 7:01:39It has been all go for Iggy.
7:01:39 > 7:01:41Can't wait to find out how she's got on.
7:01:41 > 7:01:45Now, take a look at that, I suggest you put it on your Christmas list,
7:01:45 > 7:01:50a brand-new camera, only £300,000. Look at what it can do!
7:01:53 > 7:01:56'By the time it is a young adult, a tiger can move
7:01:56 > 7:02:00'without making a sound.
7:02:07 > 7:02:13'But to get close to its prey, it must also be out of sight.'
7:02:13 > 7:02:14Beautiful shots.
7:02:14 > 7:02:17Like a movie. I would like a huge Blue Peter welcome
7:02:17 > 7:02:19to two people who can tell us more about it,
7:02:19 > 7:02:23Hugh Pearson and Gavin Thurston. Welcome to the show.
7:02:23 > 7:02:26Hugh, you are the producer, and you are a cameraman, Gavin.
7:02:26 > 7:02:30Let's talk about the show itself. How would you describe it?
7:02:30 > 7:02:32The Hunt is a wildlife series
7:02:32 > 7:02:34all about predatory animals and their prey.
7:02:34 > 7:02:36We are looking at how predators catch their prey
7:02:36 > 7:02:38and how prey try to escape.
7:02:38 > 7:02:40You must have seen some incredible stuff.
7:02:40 > 7:02:42We've been fortunate enough to see some amazing things.
7:02:42 > 7:02:45Predators come in all shapes and sizes.
7:02:45 > 7:02:48We started off with the small ones - we got, you know, army ants.
7:02:48 > 7:02:52Army ants are some of the top predators in the rainforest.
7:02:52 > 7:02:55Some amazing spiders, chameleons,
7:02:55 > 7:02:57so small predators as well as big ones,
7:02:57 > 7:02:59lions, tigers, and the blue whale,
7:02:59 > 7:03:02the biggest predator that has ever lived.
7:03:02 > 7:03:05You can see the size of it here, next to our cameraman. A big animal!
7:03:05 > 7:03:08Just stunning shots. This has got us thinking today.
7:03:08 > 7:03:11How cool would this be, to have a job like this?
7:03:11 > 7:03:14If you could chase any wild animal in the world, anywhere -
7:03:14 > 7:03:16little brother doesn't count - where would you go?
7:03:16 > 7:03:18What animal would it be? Get in touch.
7:03:18 > 7:03:22Leave us a message and we will read out as many as we can later.
7:03:22 > 7:03:25Let's talk gadgets. My favourite things.
7:03:25 > 7:03:28The big one behind you, Gavin, what is that?
7:03:28 > 7:03:32A gyro-stabilised camera system. It has a camera inside that ball.
7:03:32 > 7:03:36It has a very long zoom lens, so you can zoom in on animals
7:03:36 > 7:03:39from a long way, so you can film them without disturbing them.
7:03:39 > 7:03:42But despite whatever you put it on, if it is shaking around,
7:03:42 > 7:03:44like a helicopter or boat or Land Rover,
7:03:44 > 7:03:46those images are perfectly steady.
7:03:46 > 7:03:48We have a boaty shot, let's have a look.
7:03:48 > 7:03:51The first thing we see is not this camera,
7:03:51 > 7:03:52it is a normal camera filming it.
7:03:52 > 7:03:55Off the coast of Canada, filming humpback whales.
7:03:55 > 7:03:59Everything is rocking around, waves, bumpy.
7:03:59 > 7:04:04With the special camera, rock-steady image, big close-ups.
7:04:04 > 7:04:08The only way you can get that shot is using a camera like this.
7:04:08 > 7:04:09It's beautiful.
7:04:09 > 7:04:12It helps because you have got those shots with the orchestra and
7:04:12 > 7:04:15Sir David Attenborough doing the voice-over, it does not get better.
7:04:15 > 7:04:18Where else have you used this? Is it just boats?
7:04:18 > 7:04:21Originally it was designed to go on a helicopter,
7:04:21 > 7:04:23but you can put it on a boat, a Land Rover.
7:04:23 > 7:04:27Here it is on a Land Rover actually in Africa.
7:04:27 > 7:04:31- Going very quickly! - That's Jamie filming hunting dogs.
7:04:31 > 7:04:34What a shot!
7:04:35 > 7:04:39Another idea Jamie had was to stick it on an elephant.
7:04:39 > 7:04:42- And why not? - It worked very well.
7:04:42 > 7:04:45That's the whole point of the camera, it stabilises the movement.
7:04:45 > 7:04:47We have tried to recreate it in the studio.
7:04:47 > 7:04:50Bring in the elephant! Only kidding!
7:04:50 > 7:04:52But we can bring in Lindsey.
7:04:52 > 7:04:55- I'm going to have a go... - Don't call me an elephant, Barney!
7:04:55 > 7:04:57Technically, I think I might have done!
7:04:57 > 7:05:00I understand cameras, but how do I control it?
7:05:00 > 7:05:03It is a bit like one of those TV game control units
7:05:03 > 7:05:05you might have for your television.
7:05:05 > 7:05:08A joystick on the right, controlling up and down.
7:05:08 > 7:05:11You have got a focus wheel, zoom control.
7:05:11 > 7:05:13Stick your hands on and have a go.
7:05:13 > 7:05:16I've got a bit of help from Katie, who will give me
7:05:16 > 7:05:18a helping hand controlling it.
7:05:18 > 7:05:20Lindsey, you have got to pretend to be an animal.
7:05:20 > 7:05:24- You are dressed like a cheetah! - Leopard, I would say.
7:05:24 > 7:05:28So, I'm going to try and follow you. You've got to be all leopardy.
7:05:28 > 7:05:30- OK, here I am. - I have got you.
7:05:30 > 7:05:33- Come on.- She's a very fast leopard. - Very fast leopard!
7:05:33 > 7:05:36Go for the close-up, Barney.
7:05:36 > 7:05:38Close-up, OK.
7:05:38 > 7:05:40That has gone horribly wrong.
7:05:40 > 7:05:43I genuinely am trying to keep up with you.
7:05:43 > 7:05:44Lindsey, you look cool!
7:05:45 > 7:05:49Now, animals don't stand and smile at you, they are very difficult
7:05:49 > 7:05:51to chase, as we have realised.
7:05:51 > 7:05:53You have got to know what you are doing.
7:05:53 > 7:05:56Exactly, that comes with experience of watching behaviour and so on,
7:05:56 > 7:05:58but there are no rehearsals.
7:05:58 > 7:06:01Every time it does something, you get one take.
7:06:01 > 7:06:04I could do this all day! Well, Lindsey and Katie, for now,
7:06:04 > 7:06:07thank you very much. Let's talk about the little dude next to you.
7:06:07 > 7:06:10This is a normal camera, but it does something special.
7:06:10 > 7:06:13This camera, with this lens on the front, enables you to get
7:06:13 > 7:06:17in really close and see things you would not see with your naked eye.
7:06:17 > 7:06:19We have some footage. This is incredible.
7:06:19 > 7:06:21Filmed by a legend of the industry.
7:06:21 > 7:06:22Alistair McEwan,
7:06:22 > 7:06:26this is in Madagascar, these chameleons, and it's using
7:06:26 > 7:06:28this sort of array that these special lenses get
7:06:28 > 7:06:33close-up shots like this, tight on the eyes and the feet.
7:06:33 > 7:06:35The praying mantis in the same place.
7:06:35 > 7:06:37All of these are predators.
7:06:37 > 7:06:40In The Hunt, we wanted small predators as well as big.
7:06:40 > 7:06:41A praying mantis, cool predator.
7:06:41 > 7:06:44A shot like that, you can only get with these lenses.
7:06:44 > 7:06:47Well, we don't have any praying mantises in the studio, but we do
7:06:47 > 7:06:49- have a subject for you to film, Gavin.- We do.
7:06:49 > 7:06:52I'm not going to tell you what it is, but see if you can guess what
7:06:52 > 7:06:54it is when it comes into focus. I need some more light.
7:06:54 > 7:06:56OK, there's the light for you.
7:06:56 > 7:06:59Just to give you a sense of scale and how close it will get.
7:06:59 > 7:07:01Do you know what that is yet?
7:07:01 > 7:07:02There it is.
7:07:02 > 7:07:05What a beautiful thing to finish on, the Blue Peter badge.
7:07:05 > 7:07:07Thank you for bringing your gadgets in and talking to us.
7:07:07 > 7:07:10It's a brilliant series. You've done some amazing work.
7:07:10 > 7:07:13If you want to see The Hunt, Sunday, BBC One, 4:50pm.
7:07:13 > 7:07:16If you do not want to wait, don't worry,
7:07:16 > 7:07:18here's another incredible shot.
7:07:18 > 7:07:20Boys, thank you very much.
7:07:22 > 7:07:24'Portia is a jumping spider.
7:07:28 > 7:07:32'Able to leap up to 50 times her own body length.
7:07:36 > 7:07:38'Nowhere seems beyond her reach.'
7:07:42 > 7:07:46- Wow!- There are some things that immediately inspire you to get
7:07:46 > 7:07:50involved and The Hunt does that. Incredible.
7:07:50 > 7:07:53Someone else who is incredible is little Iggy.
7:07:53 > 7:07:56If you have been wondering where she has been, she has been
7:07:56 > 7:08:00working harder than ever in her journey to become a guide dog.
7:08:00 > 7:08:04We are so proud and we have been there every step of the way.
7:08:06 > 7:08:08'Today is a big day for Iggy.
7:08:08 > 7:08:11'After living with her puppy dog trainer Anna for a year,
7:08:11 > 7:08:13'it is time to move on and move out.'
7:08:13 > 7:08:15- Ready to go.- Ready!
7:08:15 > 7:08:18'I have come to Anna's house to help pack Iggy's bags.
7:08:18 > 7:08:20'Well remembered, Iggy!'
7:08:20 > 7:08:22Come on, let's get in the car.
7:08:22 > 7:08:25'Now she is a year old, she must train full-time,
7:08:25 > 7:08:29'so she needs to live at the guide dog school.'
7:08:29 > 7:08:32Here we are, this is Iggy's home for the next six months.
7:08:32 > 7:08:36- Hi, Richard.- Hi, Lindsey. - Good to see you.- And you.
7:08:36 > 7:08:38Shall we take her inside?
7:08:38 > 7:08:40We will look after her. Won't we?
7:08:40 > 7:08:43You can see behind me there, Anna is saying her final goodbyes
7:08:43 > 7:08:46to Iggy, which is going to be a bit emotional.
7:08:46 > 7:08:49In a minute, Richard and I will go and see her new home.
7:08:50 > 7:08:52- Through here?- That's it.
7:08:52 > 7:08:54Her kennel is coming up on the right.
7:08:54 > 7:08:57I can see her name! Shall we take her in?
7:08:57 > 7:09:00- Yeah. Let's take in.- Come on, then. - Her new home.
7:09:00 > 7:09:06'As well as a new home, Iggy gets to meet her new trainer, Kath.'
7:09:06 > 7:09:07She has been here with you once before,
7:09:07 > 7:09:09so she knows it a little bit.
7:09:09 > 7:09:12She is happy, relaxed, nice and settled already.
7:09:12 > 7:09:15What happens next? Does she stay in here the whole time?
7:09:15 > 7:09:17She'll spend the next two weeks in here,
7:09:17 > 7:09:19getting used to the environment, nice and gently,
7:09:19 > 7:09:22then she will move into the next kennel block
7:09:22 > 7:09:25and Kath will take her through the next stages of training.
7:09:25 > 7:09:29The next phase of Iggy's training has begun.
7:09:29 > 7:09:33I thought I would be sad, but I have been really happy
7:09:33 > 7:09:35and it is so nice to see how settled
7:09:35 > 7:09:37and calm Iggy is in her brand-new home.
7:09:40 > 7:09:43Over the next three months, they become firm friends.
7:09:43 > 7:09:45Good girl!
7:09:45 > 7:09:50Now Kath can start Iggy's obedience and harness training.
7:09:50 > 7:09:53The harness is the connection between the guide dog and owner.
7:09:53 > 7:09:56So it is essential that Iggy gets used to wearing one.
7:09:56 > 7:09:57Over the coming weeks,
7:09:57 > 7:10:01Iggy takes on a variety of obstacle courses to train her for what
7:10:01 > 7:10:04she might encounter working outdoors.
7:10:05 > 7:10:07She gets to have a bit of fun too!
7:10:08 > 7:10:11'Three months later, I am back to see if she can do
7:10:11 > 7:10:13'an obstacle course with me.'
7:10:13 > 7:10:16Shorten your stride a bit, give her room to come across.
7:10:16 > 7:10:19'Don't worry, Iggy is not invisible.
7:10:19 > 7:10:22'Before I catch up with her, I have to learn about how to use
7:10:22 > 7:10:23'the harness correctly.'
7:10:23 > 7:10:26There is more to think about than you would realise!
7:10:26 > 7:10:27There certainly is.
7:10:27 > 7:10:30After a practice walk with Richard, I'm keen to see how
7:10:30 > 7:10:33- the harness works with Iggy. - Good girl.
7:10:33 > 7:10:35Well, Richard, I did like you playing the role of Iggy there,
7:10:35 > 7:10:38- but I've got to say I actually prefer Iggy in the harness.- Fair enough.
7:10:38 > 7:10:41It's nice to get a go at this. What are we going to do first?
7:10:41 > 7:10:45What we'll do first is we'll get her to up-sit. Iggy, up-sit. That's it.
7:10:45 > 7:10:49- Good. Then you just slide your right foot back half a pace.- Oh, yeah.
7:10:49 > 7:10:52- Slide it like that?- Swing your right arm and tell her, forward.
7:10:52 > 7:10:54- And will she just go? - She'll just go.
7:10:54 > 7:10:57- Iggy, forward.- That's it. Good.
7:10:57 > 7:10:59Then just keeping your left arm nice and relaxed,
7:10:59 > 7:11:01- try and look straight ahead.- OK.
7:11:01 > 7:11:04Then we just keep talking to her. Good girl, find the way.
7:11:04 > 7:11:07- Wow, you can feel it with the harness.- You can.
7:11:07 > 7:11:09You can feel exactly what Iggy's doing.
7:11:09 > 7:11:11So, Iggy's done really well with the training there.
7:11:11 > 7:11:14I think she's got her head around the course. There's only one
7:11:14 > 7:11:17thing left to do to see if we can both do it, get the blindfold on.
7:11:17 > 7:11:21It's important in Iggy's training for her to be in complete control
7:11:21 > 7:11:23and wearing a blindfold helps bring me
7:11:23 > 7:11:27get a step closer to what it might be like for people with sight loss.
7:11:27 > 7:11:30- OK, Iggy, forward.- That's it. Good.
7:11:30 > 7:11:34- We are going so fast.- You've got to project confidence now.- OK, sorry.
7:11:34 > 7:11:38- Good girl, Iggy.- That's it. - Good girl.
7:11:38 > 7:11:42- I have no idea where we are on the course now.- No.- No idea.
7:11:42 > 7:11:45'I feel completely out of my comfort zone.
7:11:45 > 7:11:48'It feels so weird putting my trust in Iggy.
7:11:48 > 7:11:52'She's done really well but how will she do out on the streets?'
7:11:54 > 7:11:57Blindfold is on. I can't see anything.
7:11:57 > 7:12:00'Out here there are many more distractions to take her
7:12:00 > 7:12:01'mind off the job.'
7:12:01 > 7:12:05- Here we go.- Ready?- Yeah.- Forward.- OK.
7:12:05 > 7:12:08Iggy, forward.
7:12:08 > 7:12:10To the crossing.
7:12:10 > 7:12:13Oh, there's the bump so we're nearly there.
7:12:13 > 7:12:17'Iggy started confidently and seems to be in complete control.'
7:12:17 > 7:12:20- OK, so we're here now. So foot back.- Yes.
7:12:20 > 7:12:23Iggy, forward. Wow!
7:12:23 > 7:12:24We are on the road.
7:12:24 > 7:12:27'It's amazing to see how far Iggy has come.
7:12:27 > 7:12:31'She is taking it in her stride and I am so proud.'
7:12:31 > 7:12:34- Can you feel that?- Yes, I can feel it.- She got you across. Well done.
7:12:34 > 7:12:36Yeah, Iggy, good girl!
7:12:36 > 7:12:39I think she has done a great job today. Thank you so much, Kath.
7:12:39 > 7:12:41Well done, Iggs. Good job.
7:12:44 > 7:12:46- I was so proud of little Iggy. - She's awesome.
7:12:46 > 7:12:49We are about to show off how brilliant she is because, even
7:12:49 > 7:12:53since that film, Iggy's been learning loads more new skills,
7:12:53 > 7:12:55which we want to demonstrate today, so we're going
7:12:55 > 7:12:58to do something called blindfolded recall.
7:12:58 > 7:13:00Hopefully it's going to work on live television!
7:13:00 > 7:13:02The idea is that Iggy needs to know what to do
7:13:02 > 7:13:06and how to return to her owner safely and correctly whenever she's working.
7:13:06 > 7:13:08- So, Rads, I'll pass Iggy to you. - I'll chat with Iggy.
7:13:08 > 7:13:10- This is where I blindfold you, isn't it?- OK.
7:13:10 > 7:13:12Let's do it here before you start to move.
7:13:12 > 7:13:13That way you don't know where you're going.
7:13:13 > 7:13:16This is to simulate what it might be like to have loss of sight.
7:13:16 > 7:13:18I just feel so vulnerable. It's amazing.
7:13:18 > 7:13:21- You know where we're walking to. Step coming up. Step now.- OK.
7:13:21 > 7:13:24And another one. If you face that way.
7:13:24 > 7:13:26I'm going to face this way.
7:13:26 > 7:13:29I don't know which way I am facing or where Iggy has gone really.
7:13:29 > 7:13:30Where's Iggy's lead? Thank you.
7:13:30 > 7:13:33So, the idea is Iggy should touch my legs when I call her

7:14:41 > 7:14:43Isla from Bristol. Iggy, it's especially for you.
7:14:43 > 7:14:45- Iggy, it's for you! - It's a moveable Iggy.

7:15:05 > 7:15:08She's just gone into hibernation.
7:15:08 > 7:15:11She looks very cosy in that newspaper.
7:15:11 > 7:15:12Shelley, have a nice nap

7:15:14 > 7:15:18- Can I do one quick one?- Go on.- Grace has sent this in. Look, I want one.
7:15:18 > 7:15:22This is me poking my head out of Big Ben in Westminster.
7:15:22 > 7:15:24It says, "I want one. Dreams can come true."
7:15:24 > 7:15:27Grace, thank you so much. We love hearing from you.
7:15:27 > 7:15:30And we've got another one from Iona and Santa. Cool name, right?
7:15:30 > 7:15:32Santa, brilliant.
7:15:32 > 7:15:37It's this one, a huge big 3D cut-out of the badge and all of us and Iggy
7:15:37 > 7:15:39who looks particularly adorable.
7:15:39 > 7:15:42That's amazing. Thank you so much for sending that in.
7:15:42 > 7:15:45Thank you to all of you who sent anything this week and it's also
7:15:45 > 7:15:48worth pointing out that if you want to get a badge,
7:15:48 > 7:15:49send some post to us.
7:15:49 > 7:15:51We love hearing from you.
7:15:51 > 7:15:54Our address is:
7:15:56 > 7:15:58However, we are having a little bit of a delay
7:15:58 > 7:15:59cos so many of you are sending in post to us,
7:15:59 > 7:16:02but we are endeavouring to get it back to you ASAP.
7:16:02 > 7:16:04Camera Two, I've got a question.
7:16:04 > 7:16:07What do you get if you cross a gadget with a race?
7:16:07 > 7:16:10A very happy Barney. Watch this.
7:16:12 > 7:16:15It's taking the tech world by storm.
7:16:16 > 7:16:19Blink and you might miss it.
7:16:20 > 7:16:22And it's so cool.
7:16:22 > 7:16:25Look, I'm wearing sunglasses and it's not even sunny.
7:16:25 > 7:16:27This is drone racing.
7:16:30 > 7:16:33I told you it was cool!
7:16:35 > 7:16:37Drones are unmanned aerial vehicles
7:16:37 > 7:16:40that are often used to capture amazing footage like this.
7:16:40 > 7:16:43Gentle, dreamy shots. Lovely.
7:16:43 > 7:16:47But when it comes to racing them, it's all about speed.
7:16:48 > 7:16:51So, in a race, drones must complete four laps
7:16:51 > 7:16:52of this specially-designed course.
7:16:52 > 7:16:55They have to fly at about two metres above the ground
7:16:55 > 7:16:56and they go very, very quickly.
7:16:56 > 7:16:59Simply, the fastest drone wins.
7:17:01 > 7:17:05The man in charge of the drone racing league in the UK is Nigel.
7:17:05 > 7:17:09Drones have become very popular over the last year, 18 months
7:17:09 > 7:17:11- and people want to race them. - And this is a racing drone?
7:17:11 > 7:17:13This is a racing drone, yeah.
7:17:13 > 7:17:16Camera on the front. That's what the pilots see.
7:17:16 > 7:17:17In the middle is the flight controller,
7:17:17 > 7:17:19the little computer that runs everything.
7:17:19 > 7:17:24And on the back is a battery to run the four motors and propellers.
7:17:24 > 7:17:26They can have everything set up
7:17:26 > 7:17:29and ready to race for less than the cost of a games console.
7:17:29 > 7:17:31You can't just try these in your back garden.
7:17:31 > 7:17:34- There are certain rules for drones. - No. It's about being sensible
7:17:34 > 7:17:36and we encourage people to come to model clubs like this one.
7:17:36 > 7:17:38There you can learn to fly them properly.
7:17:38 > 7:17:41Just get out there and have a go, that's the best bet.
7:17:41 > 7:17:44But before I have a go, I need to learn to fly these things.
7:17:44 > 7:17:47The way it is done is so awesome.
7:17:47 > 7:17:51It's called first person view, or FPV.
7:17:51 > 7:17:55Racers wear wraparound goggles that receive a video link from the drone.
7:17:55 > 7:17:58Basically a drone's eye view.
7:17:58 > 7:18:00And this is what I looks like.
7:18:00 > 7:18:02Unbelievable!
7:18:02 > 7:18:07And to show me how it works, Luke is one of the UK's best drone racers.
7:18:08 > 7:18:10I'm going to watch you flying as you fly.
7:18:10 > 7:18:12If you are going to do what I know you can do,
7:18:12 > 7:18:15I'm going to need to sit down for this. OK, Grandad's ready.
7:18:17 > 7:18:21So I have tuned in to Luke's feed and he is fast.
7:18:21 > 7:18:23Oh, my goodness, that is insane.
7:18:23 > 7:18:27It's like watching a really cool computer game.
7:18:27 > 7:18:30Oh, mate, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
7:18:33 > 7:18:35Can you talk me through what I am seeing here,
7:18:35 > 7:18:38apart from my life flashing before my eyes?
7:18:38 > 7:18:41You are seeing me go through gates about a metre off the ground
7:18:41 > 7:18:44and probably around 40mph speeds.
7:18:44 > 7:18:47I can go faster, but I have to land now because my battery is out.
7:18:47 > 7:18:48That's fine by me.
7:18:48 > 7:18:51Your battery might be out. My stomach's gone!
7:18:51 > 7:18:54That was phenomenal. Now it is my turn to give it a go.
7:18:54 > 7:18:56What could possibly go wrong?
7:18:59 > 7:19:01Push forward gently.
7:19:01 > 7:19:04- As long as you keep moving forward, it's a lot easier.- OK.
7:19:04 > 7:19:07- It goes up really high really quick, doesn't it?- Yeah.
7:19:07 > 7:19:09- Now you should be able to see us. - Oh, this is weird.
7:19:09 > 7:19:13This actually makes you feel a bit dizzy.
7:19:13 > 7:19:17Oh, that was weird. I just make myself feel really sick.
7:19:17 > 7:19:20It's hard because you have no concept at all of where you are.
7:19:21 > 7:19:23'This is really tough.
7:19:23 > 7:19:26'It takes a lot of practice to crack this technique.
7:19:26 > 7:19:29'I'm struggling to keep the drone under control,
7:19:29 > 7:19:32'let alone go around the course. Whoops!'
7:19:32 > 7:19:34- I think I'll be better if I fly without FPV.- Yeah.
7:19:34 > 7:19:38I do feel a bit seasick. It's weird. It's really strange, but fun.
7:19:38 > 7:19:41You've got to try it. You've got to give it a go.
7:19:41 > 7:19:43So, my challenge.
7:19:43 > 7:19:47How many laps can Luke complete in the time it takes me to do one?
7:19:47 > 7:19:52The course is made up of four gates and has two tights bends.
7:19:52 > 7:19:55Up for the challenge, some of Britain's best young racers,
7:19:55 > 7:19:57Adam, Luke,
7:19:57 > 7:20:01Lewis and me, minus the goggles.
7:20:01 > 7:20:03Bring it on.
7:20:06 > 7:20:10Here we go, bringing drone racing to the masses, in three, two, one, go!
7:20:10 > 7:20:14'Luke and Adam fly off the start and leave me behind.
7:20:14 > 7:20:17'But there's a problem for Lewis.
7:20:17 > 7:20:19'Wipe-out!'
7:20:20 > 7:20:23I'm going to fly over that side for now.
7:20:23 > 7:20:26'Even without the goggles, it's not going to plan.
7:20:26 > 7:20:28'Ah, the sun's come out!
7:20:28 > 7:20:30'Luke is absolutely flying.
7:20:30 > 7:20:32'I'm struggling to go under the first gate,
7:20:32 > 7:20:35'and he's already done a lap.'
7:20:36 > 7:20:38Go on, Luke. I'm with you, buddy.
7:20:38 > 7:20:41'Look, a tractor. I can see my house.'
7:20:42 > 7:20:45'Back to the real race, and Luke is clocking up the laps,
7:20:45 > 7:20:48'and so is Adam.
7:20:48 > 7:20:51'But then this happens.
7:20:51 > 7:20:54'Adam is out. Let's see that again. Unlucky!
7:20:54 > 7:20:59'That just leaves me and Luke left in it.
7:20:59 > 7:21:03'All right, show off. Luke's even doing flips now.'
7:21:03 > 7:21:06- Have you done a lap yet? - I'm just on the way round now, yeah.
7:21:06 > 7:21:08'This is it, the final bend.
7:21:08 > 7:21:13'Luke is so fast, going under every single gate.
7:21:13 > 7:21:15'And here comes Barney, finally landing.'
7:21:15 > 7:21:19He finally completes his lap. It took me 20 minutes.
7:21:19 > 7:21:22Luke did 12 laps in the time it took me to do one.
7:21:22 > 7:21:25That's why we've got a champion on our hands.
7:21:27 > 7:21:30So there you have it. Drone racing. It was fast, it was cool.
7:21:30 > 7:21:32Luke did 12 laps, I did one.
7:21:32 > 7:21:34That doesn't matter, it's all about the practice.
7:21:34 > 7:21:37Can I borrow your winning drone, Luke, thank you?
7:21:37 > 7:21:40I am going to have one more go. Well, two more goes.
7:21:40 > 7:21:44I might just have three... four more goes on it.
7:21:44 > 7:21:47I might just have a couple of...
7:21:47 > 7:21:49I'll be back tomorrow.
7:21:49 > 7:21:51I'll bring it back. Don't worry.
7:21:51 > 7:21:55- He's so naughty.- How cool are drones?
7:21:55 > 7:21:59- Barney did return the drone to its rightful owner.- No, I didn't!
7:21:59 > 7:22:01He did, he did.
7:22:01 > 7:22:04If you want to see an exclusive clip of Luke, the legend,
7:22:04 > 7:22:06flying his drone, simply jump on to the Blue Peter website.
7:22:06 > 7:22:09I can assure you it's definitely worth the watch.
7:22:09 > 7:22:14Now, it is time for the moment I've been pumped about all episode.

7:22:34 > 7:22:39as well as Leona Vaughan, who plays Jana, and our very own Radzi.
7:22:39 > 7:22:41I can't believe you were able to choose them.

7:24:13 > 7:24:16the video that she entered, we really thought was genuinely
7:24:16 > 7:24:18fantastic and made her a truly worthy winner.

7:25:24 > 7:25:28Well, I just got a needle and did very untidy stitches
7:25:28 > 7:25:30cos I'm not very good at stitching anyway,
7:25:30 > 7:25:33so it came in handy for once!
7:25:33 > 7:25:36But your costume wasn't clean, it was very muddy and dirty.
7:25:36 > 7:25:41- How did you do that?- My mum scraped her foot all over me!
7:25:41 > 7:25:45- And you were covered in mud.- Yeah. My brother enjoyed doing it as well.
7:25:45 > 7:25:48I bet he did. So there's just two more things for me to do.

7:26:44 > 7:26:46I'll kick things off.
7:26:46 > 7:26:47Brown Biscuit Puffin says,
7:26:47 > 7:26:50"I'd be a wolf, because so many people know it as being scary
