0:00:04 > 0:00:06Guys, check out all this equipment.
0:00:06 > 0:00:07Wow! It must be for us.
0:00:07 > 0:00:09Let's do a performance on the show.
0:00:09 > 0:00:11We have made it.
0:00:11 > 0:00:13Not only are we Blue Peter presenters,
0:00:13 > 0:00:16we also get to be pop stars. I love today!
0:00:16 > 0:00:20Sorry, sorry, sorry. But this is for me to perform later on.
0:00:20 > 0:00:22Yes. We're going to have to...
0:00:22 > 0:00:26We knew that. We knew that. Loving your work. OK.
0:00:26 > 0:00:28I prefer hip-hop.
0:00:43 > 0:00:44Hello!
0:00:44 > 0:00:46Welcome to Blue Peter.
0:00:46 > 0:00:49Coming up on today's show: find out the top three nominations
0:00:49 > 0:00:53for the Blue Peter book awards 2016 best storybook.
0:00:53 > 0:00:56As well as that, we're going to be joined in the studio by the lovely
0:00:56 > 0:00:58Karen Harding,
0:00:58 > 0:01:01performing her brand-new single, Open My Eyes.
0:01:01 > 0:01:04Your eyes are open, Linds. Always start on a strong joke.
0:01:04 > 0:01:05You two!
0:01:05 > 0:01:09First up, time to see the first part of my epic Sport Relief challenge
0:01:09 > 0:01:13where me and a giant inflatable ball battle it out on the water.
0:01:18 > 0:01:22This year, Sport Relief 2016 is going to be huge.
0:01:22 > 0:01:27We wanted to do something epic to inspire you to get involved.
0:01:27 > 0:01:30So I'm going to attempt to run across that.
0:01:30 > 0:01:32The Irish Sea!
0:01:39 > 0:01:43Training harder than I've ever trained before.
0:01:43 > 0:01:45Bringing together a team of top engineers.
0:01:47 > 0:01:50Can I survive the elements?
0:01:50 > 0:01:53Can I control this incredible craft?
0:01:53 > 0:01:55Can I become the Wave Runner?
0:01:59 > 0:02:03Sport Relief has raised over £260 million for good causes,
0:02:03 > 0:02:06both here in the UK and abroad.
0:02:06 > 0:02:10This year, we want you to walk, run, swim, or cycle
0:02:10 > 0:02:13yourself proud with Blue Peter.
0:02:13 > 0:02:16So, to get you in Sport Relief spirit, we wanted to do something
0:02:16 > 0:02:19so tough that it's never been done before.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22Back in September, we came up with the idea of running
0:02:22 > 0:02:2520 miles across the Irish Sea.
0:02:25 > 0:02:28So running on water? How's that going to work?
0:02:29 > 0:02:30Argh!
0:02:32 > 0:02:33Yeah, not like that.
0:02:35 > 0:02:37One way would be to use one of these. A Zorb.
0:02:37 > 0:02:41A giant ball full of air that can be used on land... or water.
0:02:42 > 0:02:44Perfect. Challenge sorted.
0:02:45 > 0:02:49I'm going to run the Irish Sea.
0:02:49 > 0:02:50Whoa!
0:02:50 > 0:02:54Er, yeah, this is a lot trickier than it looks.
0:02:56 > 0:02:58Do you know what, guys?
0:02:58 > 0:03:01This isn't going to work.
0:03:01 > 0:03:04I think we're going to need some help.
0:03:04 > 0:03:06# Count down to the scientist! #
0:03:06 > 0:03:10What I need is a team of elite engineers who can take a Zorb ball
0:03:10 > 0:03:14and turn it into a souped up sea crossing machine.
0:03:14 > 0:03:16Meet brothers Grant and James who have been
0:03:16 > 0:03:19building inventions since they were 12.
0:03:19 > 0:03:22I'm excited to be here because I am used to Blue Peter makes
0:03:22 > 0:03:25but this one is kind of the make to end all makes, isn't it?
0:03:25 > 0:03:27What are we dealing with?
0:03:27 > 0:03:30Well, somehow, we've got to propel you across the water,
0:03:30 > 0:03:32so we've come up with this design.
0:03:32 > 0:03:35- Can I have a look?- Yeah, here we go.
0:03:35 > 0:03:36Ha! Awesome!
0:03:36 > 0:03:40Do you know what? That's not at all what I was expecting.
0:03:40 > 0:03:43It makes me want to physically see it.
0:03:43 > 0:03:45Fortunately, we've got a little mock-up for you.
0:03:45 > 0:03:49What a treat! Hey, Grant! Here it is!
0:03:49 > 0:03:52This is a one 20th scale of the model you'll be in.
0:03:52 > 0:03:54I was going to say, it needs to be a bit bigger than that!
0:03:54 > 0:03:57The plan is to build a frame around the inflatable ball
0:03:57 > 0:03:58which will have paddles on it.
0:03:58 > 0:04:00The paddles will help the structure move
0:04:00 > 0:04:03through the water and allow me to control it.
0:04:03 > 0:04:06Grant uses his drill to demonstrate how it should work.
0:04:06 > 0:04:10Whoa! I see!
0:04:10 > 0:04:13So, with paddles I'm actually going to travel across the water.
0:04:13 > 0:04:17Exactly. This pushes the water out of the way and pushes you along.
0:04:17 > 0:04:19I see. I'm really excited.
0:04:19 > 0:04:20You guys have loads of work to do.
0:04:20 > 0:04:22I've got even more to do in the gym.
0:04:22 > 0:04:25Thank you very much. See you next time. Thanks, guys.
0:04:25 > 0:04:27I'll start training now.
0:04:27 > 0:04:30This world-first challenge is tougher than anything
0:04:30 > 0:04:31I have attempted before.
0:04:31 > 0:04:33It could take up to 15 hours
0:04:33 > 0:04:36and that means I need to be seriously fit.
0:04:36 > 0:04:40Back in October, I met sports scientist Greg White.
0:04:40 > 0:04:44He trained David Walliams and Davina McCall for their incredible
0:04:44 > 0:04:47Sport Relief challenges and two years ago he prepared me
0:04:47 > 0:04:50for my gruelling mountain marathon.
0:04:50 > 0:04:53Today is really all about Lindsey's overall fitness.
0:04:53 > 0:04:56Her heart, her lungs, her aerobic capacity.
0:04:56 > 0:04:58It is about her strength in preparation
0:04:58 > 0:05:00for this challenge.
0:05:03 > 0:05:07Greg uses special equipment to measure how fit I am.
0:05:07 > 0:05:09Drive in and out. Good. Very nice indeed.
0:05:10 > 0:05:14I'll be facing 20 miles of freezing open water.
0:05:14 > 0:05:16- Keep driving!- Keep going.
0:05:16 > 0:05:18Let's go! We're not stopping yet.
0:05:18 > 0:05:21So Greg needs to know exactly what my body can handle.
0:05:23 > 0:05:27The nice thing for you is that you have got an engine but we need
0:05:27 > 0:05:30to fine tune it. Particularly for this challenge.
0:05:30 > 0:05:33Yeah. Whoo!
0:05:33 > 0:05:36Oh! Dripping.
0:05:36 > 0:05:39You were pushing out about 160 watts.
0:05:39 > 0:05:42We need that much, much higher. You've got to be really strong.
0:05:42 > 0:05:44In that Zorb you've got to be really strong.
0:05:44 > 0:05:48I don't know how I'm going to do this. Urgh!
0:05:48 > 0:05:51Greg puts together an intensive training plan designed to turn me
0:05:51 > 0:05:52into the Wave Runner.
0:05:52 > 0:05:55Over the next four months, I'll build up
0:05:55 > 0:05:59to running a staggering six hours in one go.
0:05:59 > 0:06:02Meanwhile, our engineers begin putting together my wave
0:06:02 > 0:06:06running machine - hand building every single piece.
0:06:06 > 0:06:08It's literally one-of-a-kind.
0:06:08 > 0:06:12There's a lot of hard work and late nights going to building it
0:06:12 > 0:06:15but once you see the thing finished and in action,
0:06:15 > 0:06:18it's going to pay off.
0:06:18 > 0:06:22By December, it's time to test this incredible machine on water
0:06:22 > 0:06:24for the first time.
0:06:24 > 0:06:26I have no idea what to expect.
0:06:26 > 0:06:31I've got to say, I'm feeling quite nervous this morning.
0:06:31 > 0:06:34Oh, my goodness! It's over there.
0:06:34 > 0:06:38It looks awesome! It's absolutely huge.
0:06:38 > 0:06:40I did not expect that.
0:06:44 > 0:06:47It really does look like a spaceship.
0:06:47 > 0:06:50That is now my best friend.
0:06:50 > 0:06:53This has made the challenge very real.
0:06:53 > 0:06:55It looks amazing and I just want to get
0:06:55 > 0:06:57inside but I'm not sure how.
0:06:57 > 0:06:59I'll push off the boat. Argh!
0:07:01 > 0:07:04I mean...! Wow!
0:07:04 > 0:07:06This is not what I expected. OK.
0:07:06 > 0:07:09This is officially my first time in the Zorb.
0:07:09 > 0:07:12Cos it's my first time, I want to show you what it's like.
0:07:12 > 0:07:14Have a look at this.
0:07:14 > 0:07:17That is going to be my view for hours and hours.
0:07:17 > 0:07:20My first ever steps, I'm trying to take.
0:07:20 > 0:07:22Wow!
0:07:22 > 0:07:26Wait! What do I do?
0:07:26 > 0:07:27Walk a big step forward.
0:07:27 > 0:07:29Use your hands as well. Keep going.
0:07:29 > 0:07:32Oh, my goodness! Argh!
0:07:32 > 0:07:35It takes awhile to get going and at first I am struggling.
0:07:35 > 0:07:37Argh!
0:07:37 > 0:07:41But I slowly start to work out a technique
0:07:41 > 0:07:42to get me moving.
0:07:42 > 0:07:45My first ever steps of this whole challenge.
0:07:47 > 0:07:49I'm so wet!
0:07:49 > 0:07:51Do you know what?
0:07:51 > 0:07:54That is so much tougher than I thought it was going to be.
0:07:54 > 0:07:57It's wet in there. It's claustrophobic.
0:07:57 > 0:07:58It's hard to breathe.
0:07:58 > 0:08:00It's hard to even make the ball move.
0:08:00 > 0:08:03I think there's going to have to be a lot of changes made
0:08:03 > 0:08:03if it is going to work.
0:08:03 > 0:08:06We're going to have to go back to the workshop and see
0:08:06 > 0:08:07what we can do on this.
0:08:07 > 0:08:09I've got to go back to the gym.
0:08:09 > 0:08:11I didn't know how much arm strength that was going to take.
0:08:11 > 0:08:15It's worrying. It is really scary, this challenge.
0:08:15 > 0:08:18Next week, I step up my training.
0:08:18 > 0:08:21My wave running machine faces its biggest test yet.
0:08:21 > 0:08:24And the scale of my challenge hits home.
0:08:24 > 0:08:26I don't see how I'm meant to get from
0:08:26 > 0:08:28one country to another in that.
0:08:28 > 0:08:30It doesn't seem possible.
0:08:36 > 0:08:39It is going to be a really tough challenge.
0:08:39 > 0:08:40Fingers crossed, I can do it.
0:08:40 > 0:08:44Remember, if you want to get involved with Sport Relief,
0:08:44 > 0:08:46you don't have to go in a giant ball across the sea.
0:08:46 > 0:08:49You can do something a little bit more simple, like this.
0:08:49 > 0:08:52Making lots of sweaty socks. We're loving these.
0:08:52 > 0:08:54Feast your eyes on some of the ones we like,
0:08:54 > 0:08:58after I hold the line in my mouth.
0:08:58 > 0:09:01Look at Alicia. She's 12, from Dorset
0:09:01 > 0:09:04and she's made a fantastic sock. It's got dots and swirls.
0:09:04 > 0:09:06Alicia is doing a...
0:09:06 > 0:09:08for Sport Relief.
0:09:08 > 0:09:10A sponsored silence! That's why I went silent!
0:09:10 > 0:09:12- Nice one.- It's a play on words!
0:09:12 > 0:09:15Patrick from Northern Ireland, where I'm setting off
0:09:15 > 0:09:18for my challenge, actually, he's done a Thursday sock.
0:09:18 > 0:09:22He's going to be swimming twice a week for Sport Relief.
0:09:22 > 0:09:23More than I do, Patrick! Well done.
0:09:23 > 0:09:26Kizzy from Berkshire, is doing pretty much the same thing
0:09:26 > 0:09:28but with running. She's doing a sponsored run.
0:09:28 > 0:09:32Well done, Kizzy. I love your effort and I love your sock as well.
0:09:32 > 0:09:34That's really cool. Nice Blue Peter sock.
0:09:34 > 0:09:37Frederick from Hampshire, we love this one, he's doing yoga
0:09:37 > 0:09:40for Sport Relief. Radzi, give it a smell.
0:09:40 > 0:09:43He's used smelly pens. What does it smell like?
0:09:43 > 0:09:44It smells like coconuts.
0:09:44 > 0:09:46And bananas.
0:09:46 > 0:09:48Coconuts and bananas, we love it.
0:09:48 > 0:09:52If you want to send in a sweaty sock, all you have to do is head

0:10:05 > 0:10:07Also, why don't you check out
0:10:07 > 0:10:09our Mother's Day card make?
0:10:09 > 0:10:11Very important. Get your mum a card.

0:10:28 > 0:10:30This week, the theme is Sport Relief.
0:10:30 > 0:10:34I'm really nervous for my wave runner challenge but when you send
0:10:34 > 0:10:39in amazing post, it really does help me and makes me really happy.
0:10:39 > 0:10:43Lisa has sent this in. Look at me, going through the waves.
0:10:43 > 0:10:45I like that there is a kite there helping me on.
0:10:45 > 0:10:47I really love this. Thank you so much.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55Lily from Amersham and Joshua, as well,
0:10:55 > 0:10:56they have made these.
0:10:56 > 0:11:00You can see, the little wave running machine.
0:11:00 > 0:11:03I'm actually inside this one.
0:11:03 > 0:11:06There I am amongst the waves. Thank you so much for sending those in.
0:11:06 > 0:11:08It really makes a difference.
0:11:08 > 0:11:10It's all about Sport Relief today.
0:11:10 > 0:11:12On the badge wall, feast your eyes on what
0:11:12 > 0:11:13Fahaan here has made.
0:11:13 > 0:11:17This is Barney and myself in our velodrome challenge
0:11:17 > 0:11:20cycling our hearts out. Thank you very much.
0:11:20 > 0:11:22This next picture is good because I'm in the lead in this one.

0:11:24 > 0:11:27There's me in the front. And Radzi in the back.
0:11:27 > 0:11:29Charlie makes an appearance, our coach, saying,
0:11:29 > 0:11:31"They're going to need some training." Yes, we are.
0:11:31 > 0:11:34- If I move the stick, we move. - That's really cool!
0:11:34 > 0:11:35Your 3-D pictures are so good.
0:11:35 > 0:11:37Please keep them coming in!
0:11:37 > 0:11:39And earn yourself a Blue Peter badge.
0:11:39 > 0:11:41What's there to lose? Where'd you send it in?
0:11:41 > 0:11:43The address is beneath us right now:
0:11:43 > 0:11:46Camera two. My favourite shot. 'ello!
0:11:46 > 0:11:49It's time for the shortlist for the best story in the
0:11:49 > 0:11:52Blue Peter book awards... I'm done now.
0:11:55 > 0:11:57These eager readers have been getting their teeth into
0:11:57 > 0:12:02- the Blue Peter book awards 2016. - ALL:- Hi!
0:12:02 > 0:12:05They've been working through the shortlist
0:12:05 > 0:12:09and we want to know what they think of the three story books.
0:12:09 > 0:12:12So, let's get started.
0:12:12 > 0:12:14The Nowhere Emporium by Ross MacKenzie is a mystical shop
0:12:14 > 0:12:18that travels through time and moves from place to place.
0:12:18 > 0:12:22It's fuelled by its customers' imaginations yet no-one who's been
0:12:22 > 0:12:24inside can remember going there.
0:12:24 > 0:12:27But this all changes when one day, a boy called Daniel Holmes
0:12:27 > 0:12:31stumbles through the doors and meets the mysterious shopkeeper.
0:12:31 > 0:12:36Daniel returns the next day and begins a compelling adventure.
0:12:36 > 0:12:38The Nowhere Emporium is my favourite book because it had loads
0:12:38 > 0:12:40of drama and it was a page-turner.
0:12:40 > 0:12:44It had adventure, it had horror,
0:12:44 > 0:12:47and magic, that's all in one book.
0:12:47 > 0:12:50It was also a bit scary because near the end,
0:12:50 > 0:12:52it seemed like all hope is lost.
0:12:52 > 0:12:55They're talking about all the wonders and how you can create
0:12:55 > 0:12:58anything that you wanted from the book.
0:12:58 > 0:13:01It makes you feel like you're actually in the story.
0:13:01 > 0:13:03It never had that part where you think, "OK,
0:13:03 > 0:13:05"I'll just quickly skip through this part."
0:13:05 > 0:13:08It's always interesting. It's hooking you.
0:13:08 > 0:13:11When something bad happens, I was like,...
0:13:11 > 0:13:14If you like mystery and fantasy, then you should definitely
0:13:14 > 0:13:16read this book.
0:13:16 > 0:13:20Next is The Boy Who Sailed The Ocean In An Armchair.
0:13:20 > 0:13:22Beckett Rumsey is all at sea.
0:13:22 > 0:13:25One night his dad suddenly runs away with him and his brother Billy
0:13:25 > 0:13:27leaving Dad's girlfriend behind.
0:13:27 > 0:13:30In The Boy Who Sailed The Ocean In An Armchair by Lara Williamson,
0:13:30 > 0:13:33Beckett, Billy and a snail called Brian
0:13:33 > 0:13:35go on an emotional search for happiness -

0:14:31 > 0:14:34He's not ready for the day when he suddenly turns green.
0:14:34 > 0:14:36Green?! What does it mean?
0:14:36 > 0:14:38Is he ill or is he a superhero?

0:15:10 > 0:15:14I stayed up past my bedtime just because I wanted to read this book.
0:15:14 > 0:15:17Have I mentioned it's astounding?
0:15:17 > 0:15:20I read it in the break at lunch, and in class,
0:15:20 > 0:15:23and then I got told off because I was reading.
0:15:23 > 0:15:27Some parts make you laugh, some parts you feel scared and funny.

0:17:11 > 0:17:15- What are you doing? - Just wondering.- What?
0:17:15 > 0:17:17Think about Tim Peake, an amazing astronaut,
0:17:17 > 0:17:19right there, in space.
0:17:19 > 0:17:21Not just him, his mission patch, do you remember?
0:17:21 > 0:17:23That Troy designed?
0:17:23 > 0:17:25- Oh, yeah, the one with the Apple? - Yeah.- Coming to earth.
0:17:25 > 0:17:27- It was amazing, wasn't it? - It was amazing.
0:17:27 > 0:17:29Floating around somewhere in space.
0:17:29 > 0:17:31How did that competition go by the way?
0:17:31 > 0:17:34Did you not know? Mate, it was amazing, we've got a film.
0:17:34 > 0:17:36Can we roll the film, please?
0:17:38 > 0:17:40It all started with a competition to design
0:17:40 > 0:17:42something very special.
0:17:42 > 0:17:46There were over 3,000 applications, but there
0:17:46 > 0:17:48could only be one winner.
0:17:48 > 0:17:51All the way back in 2014, Blue Peter
0:17:51 > 0:17:54gave you the chance to design the mission patch to be worn
0:17:54 > 0:17:57by the very first British European Space Agency astronaut
0:17:57 > 0:18:01to journey to the International Space Station - Tim Peake.
0:18:01 > 0:18:05I'm absolutely delighted that this is going to be the patch I will wear
0:18:05 > 0:18:07up into space.
0:18:07 > 0:18:10In the end, the winning design was this one.
0:18:10 > 0:18:13And its designer, Troy, got to see it revealed
0:18:13 > 0:18:14by Tim himself.
0:18:14 > 0:18:17Troy's patch really stood out, it told a great story
0:18:17 > 0:18:20of the Soyuz launching to the International Space Station
0:18:20 > 0:18:22with Sir Isaac Newton's apple falling to
0:18:22 > 0:18:24Earth under Earth's gravity.
0:18:24 > 0:18:26A very striking, colourful patch, loved it.
0:18:26 > 0:18:27It's amazing.
0:18:27 > 0:18:30So with Tim proudly wearing his beautifully designed patch,
0:18:30 > 0:18:34I caught up with him at his astronaut training centre
0:18:34 > 0:18:36just weeks before he was due to blast off.
0:18:36 > 0:18:38Tim, it's genuinely really nice to see you,
0:18:38 > 0:18:41the last time I saw you, you didn't have the patch on.
0:18:41 > 0:18:43It's fantastic, I know, I love wearing it.
0:18:43 > 0:18:45And people ask me all the time about the patch, I just love
0:18:45 > 0:18:48explaining all the details in it.
0:18:48 > 0:18:51I got some amazing access as Tim gave me a guided tour
0:18:51 > 0:18:54of a replica of the space station he will be living, working
0:18:54 > 0:18:56and sleeping in.
0:18:56 > 0:18:58It gives you a little bit of personal space,
0:18:58 > 0:19:01where you have your sleeping bag, personal belongings.
0:19:01 > 0:19:03You wear it like a jacket, really?
0:19:03 > 0:19:06That's right, yeah, normally Velcro it to the wall and step in it.
0:19:06 > 0:19:09If you don't strap yourself in, you float around while asleep?
0:19:09 > 0:19:11And your arms will naturally float up in front
0:19:11 > 0:19:14of your face. Some astronauts have reported being woken up
0:19:14 > 0:19:16by their own arm hitting them in the face
0:19:16 > 0:19:18because it was floating around!
0:19:18 > 0:19:20- Amazing!- You get into that natural sleeping position.
0:19:20 > 0:19:23You've got some work to do while you are here, haven't you?
0:19:23 > 0:19:27Yeah, so I'll be spending a lot of my time in the Columbus module
0:19:27 > 0:19:30doing scientific experiments, let me show you the way.
0:19:30 > 0:19:31I can't even get out!
0:19:31 > 0:19:34Being on this mock-up gives you a great idea of how Tim
0:19:34 > 0:19:36is spending his six months in space.
0:19:36 > 0:19:38Let's talk about what the mission is for.
0:19:38 > 0:19:41There are 25 different experiments I've signed up for,
0:19:41 > 0:19:44which are all going to be done on myself, ranging
0:19:44 > 0:19:45from investigating my gut,
0:19:45 > 0:19:49samples of saliva, urine and blood and allsorts.
0:19:49 > 0:19:51In order to complete these experiments,
0:19:51 > 0:19:55every part of the space station is jam-packed with special equipment.
0:19:55 > 0:19:59One of the great things is the floor and the roof are just as useful work
0:19:59 > 0:20:03spaces as the walls, so we pack everything
0:20:03 > 0:20:04into the whole volume of Columbus.
0:20:04 > 0:20:07In the deck we have lots of our life-support systems,
0:20:07 > 0:20:12water cooling systems, air ventilation filters, power supply.
0:20:12 > 0:20:13The things we need to survive.
0:20:13 > 0:20:16What about the stuff we have to physically keep ourselves alive
0:20:16 > 0:20:18with, the food?
0:20:18 > 0:20:21Yes, food is mostly tinned food, fresh food is very hard to come by.
0:20:21 > 0:20:23Whenever we get a supply vehicle, maybe there will be a small
0:20:23 > 0:20:26amount of fresh food on there if we are lucky.
0:20:26 > 0:20:30Just for you, I brought up the subject we all want to know about.
0:20:30 > 0:20:32I'm going to ask the loo question, Tim.
0:20:32 > 0:20:34How, where, what happens?
0:20:34 > 0:20:38OK, so the loo just uses air, a vacuum pump that keeps airflow
0:20:38 > 0:20:40going in the right direction, whether it
0:20:40 > 0:20:42is a number one or number two,
0:20:42 > 0:20:44just rely on that vacuum pump with the airflow
0:20:44 > 0:20:46to keep everything in the right place.
0:20:46 > 0:20:49You see that patch, Troy? You're a genius.
0:20:49 > 0:20:52Your patch is going to be in space with Tim every step of the way.
0:20:52 > 0:20:54It's out of this world!
0:20:56 > 0:20:59On the 15th of December, with the eyes of the world watching,
0:20:59 > 0:21:02British astronaut Tim Peake blasted off
0:21:02 > 0:21:05to space and into the history books, to take his place
0:21:05 > 0:21:07on the International Space Station.
0:21:08 > 0:21:12The Soyuz rocket he was on board lifted off with such force
0:21:12 > 0:21:15that he was in the Earth's orbit in just over eight minutes.
0:21:15 > 0:21:17Now, that's fast.
0:21:21 > 0:21:24Since then, it's been an eventful few months for Tim,
0:21:24 > 0:21:27he's become the first British astronaut to do a spacewalk.
0:21:27 > 0:21:29He spent Christmas flying at 17,000 miles an hour,
0:21:29 > 0:21:33and he's had space fans in the UK gripped to what he's doing.
0:21:33 > 0:21:36OK, let me try and give you a demonstration of water
0:21:36 > 0:21:38and just how it will form a sphere, which also
0:21:38 > 0:21:40means it's easier to drink.
0:21:42 > 0:21:45If only there was a way for us to get an update on how Tim
0:21:45 > 0:21:47and Troy's patch are doing up in space.
0:21:49 > 0:21:51Well, maybe there is.
0:21:52 > 0:21:55Munich station on space to ground four.
