:01:53. > :02:01.gear. You need a unique look to stand out. That is definitely

:02:02. > :02:04.unique. A wrestler's entrance music is so important. You have to choose

:02:05. > :02:09.a song that shows you mean business, it needs to be epic, and to show

:03:07. > :03:10.and lots of things to empower youth. If any viewers want to be

:03:11. > :03:14.superstars, what do you say to them? I would say, getting the best

:03:15. > :03:18.possible shape of your life and dedicate yourself. Learn, find a

:03:19. > :03:22.good school, and get ready for the greatest trip you could imagine. I

:03:23. > :03:29.would like to be a superstar but only a wicked name. What do you

:03:30. > :03:35.think of the Radzi Rumble? I like the alliteration. What do you think

:03:36. > :03:43.of Brands because if I joined you guys it would be Brand New Day.

:03:44. > :04:01.Let's have a huddle. Brand-new day... Yes! Happy days. Boys, you

:04:15. > :04:27.one of these! If you believe you can do it, you can become a superstar. I

:04:28. > :04:30.am a superstar. , Yes, you are. You have the hair, the outfit. There is

:04:31. > :04:38.only one thing you need to do. What's that?! Wrestle! I can't

:04:39. > :04:41.wrestle. OK, so it seems like I'm not quite cut out to be a wrestling

:04:42. > :04:45.superstar but I have loved every minute of my time in the ring and as

:04:46. > :04:52.for my outfit, I think I will give it back to Barney. I have been in a

:04:53. > :05:04.wrestling ring! You look so happy. He has done this all day. Was that

:05:05. > :05:09.the most you have smiled ever? Watch online, to check out this exclusive

:05:10. > :05:16.clip, of me teaching the guys the Radzi happy dance. What would your

:05:17. > :05:20.wrestling Dabiq two I think my wrestling name would be Little

:05:21. > :05:24.Rosler. A mixture of little and Rosler. If we had Barney, it would

:05:25. > :05:27.be a triple threat. Head online to the Blue Peter

:05:28. > :05:30.website to leave your unique wrestler name, and we'll try

:05:31. > :05:33.and read as many as we can Now, we know you all love

:05:34. > :05:41.to enter our Blue Peter competitions and, boy, have we got something

:05:42. > :05:49.immense to announce right now. This one is absolutely incredible.

:05:50. > :05:53.Have a look at this. I am in London at the Southbank Centre to tell you

:05:54. > :06:03.about an incredible brand new blue Peter competition. You will need to

:06:04. > :06:12.open up your imagination, travel to incredible places. Because we want

:06:13. > :06:16.you to dream big. This year, one of the world's greatest children

:06:17. > :06:21.authors, Roald Dahl, would have celebrated his 100th birthday. And

:06:22. > :06:26.one of his most famous creations, the BFG, is about to hit the big

:06:27. > :06:35.screen. It is the story of a Big Friendly Giant, and the dreams that

:06:36. > :06:41.he captures. Inspired by this, we want you to create your very own

:06:42. > :06:46.dream story. If you could dream of anything, what would it be, and

:06:47. > :06:52.where would you go? Let your imagination run wild. To enter, you

:06:53. > :06:55.need to dream up the setting and the characters. Right on the plot, and

:06:56. > :07:04.it must be completely original. It can be about anything, anywhere

:07:05. > :07:08.at any time. Next, right down and draw the beginning, middle and the

:07:09. > :07:12.end scene so that we can capture your dream exactly as you have

:07:13. > :07:17.imagined it. Because we will be turning one of your dreams into its

:07:18. > :07:22.own amazing animation. And we have got a very special panel lined up to

:07:23. > :07:29.judge them. I play Sophie in the movie. Joining Ruby on the judging

:07:30. > :07:35.team is someone very special indeed. I am Lucy Dahl, Roald Al's youngest

:07:36. > :07:43.daughter and I am one of the judges for this exciting competition. --

:07:44. > :07:47.Roald Dahl. My dad told me bedtime stories every night and at the end

:07:48. > :07:51.of the story he told us that our dreams could country, so dream big.

:07:52. > :07:56.I will be looking for a clear story, great characters and real

:07:57. > :08:00.imagination. But that is not all. One of you will be in with the

:08:01. > :08:06.chance of showing your animation to a Hollywood directing legend. I am

:08:07. > :08:10.Stephen Spielberg, the director of the BFG. That's right, Stephen

:08:11. > :08:16.Spielberg. How amazing would that be?! We are very excited to

:08:17. > :08:24.introduce Blue Peter's giant competition to celebrate the release

:08:25. > :08:27.of the BFG. We are totally excited. All the details of how to enter this

:08:28. > :08:34.competition is on our website. Make your dream as preposterous as

:08:35. > :08:44.possible. My dad told me there is no limit to your imagination so now it

:08:45. > :08:46.is your time to dream big. I think that is an absolutely awesome

:08:47. > :08:50.competition. We need to talk details. Remember, your story needs

:08:51. > :08:55.to be completely original. With all your own characters

:08:56. > :08:58.and settings, it's all about using Remember, it's not just

:08:59. > :09:01.about the words, you need to draw the beginning,

:09:02. > :09:04.middle and end of your Dream Big story but don't worry if drawing

:09:05. > :09:06.or writing isn't your thing. We're interested in how

:09:07. > :09:08.original, creative and The top 15 stories will

:09:09. > :09:14.earn the much sought after Orange Blue Peter Competition

:09:15. > :09:20.Badge. From those 15, three top entries

:09:21. > :09:23.from each age category, will be chosen and granted a special

:09:24. > :09:31.invitation to the BFG And the overall winner will have

:09:32. > :09:35.their animation turned into real life.

:09:36. > :09:38.The closing date is 12 noon on 23rd May and we will only accept entries

:09:39. > :09:46.by post, so what are you waiting for?

:09:47. > :09:49.As soon as the show's finished, head online to the Blue Peter

:09:50. > :09:53.There are three pages you need to complete, so make sure you read

:09:54. > :09:59.And don't worry if you missed any of these details, all the info

:10:00. > :10:01.you need is on the website, including the all important

:10:02. > :10:11.Basically, dream big. Go for it, be magical. And I think when it comes

:10:12. > :10:16.to sleeping, I am pretty good. I can sleep anywhere. You are amazing. He

:10:17. > :10:22.falls asleep all the time, on shoots, on location. Another film of

:10:23. > :10:28.them sleeping. You do not like mornings. That is the key, I don't

:10:29. > :10:32.like mornings. So what is so important about dreaming? Please

:10:33. > :10:38.welcome Collett, to answer our questions. I'm doing an interview on

:10:39. > :10:44.a bed for this and feeling pretty good about life.

:10:45. > :10:46.The average person spends 25 years of their life sleeping.

:10:47. > :10:48.So, an average 12 year old would have already

:10:49. > :10:58.It is a really complicated area but in simple terms, why is sleep so

:10:59. > :11:03.important? You are right, we spend about a third of our lives asleep.

:11:04. > :11:07.But sleep is so important because it is a lot to do with how we learn and

:11:08. > :11:13.how our brains look after ourselves. So if you are looking to learn how

:11:14. > :11:17.to play the piano or to kick a perfect goal in football, and you

:11:18. > :11:21.want to practice and practice and practice, it is actually when you

:11:22. > :11:26.are asleep that your brain turns that experience into long-term

:11:27. > :11:29.memory, and therefore you learn. You also need sleep because your brain

:11:30. > :11:34.needs time to sort out what it was doing during the day. So it does a

:11:35. > :11:40.tidy out, cleans itself out and has a relaxed. And your body needs to

:11:41. > :11:45.rest so you can grow muscles and bones, to be fresh and ready for the

:11:46. > :11:52.day ahead. It really is a special process. I know there are stages,

:11:53. > :11:59.but what are they? There are two types of stage, NREM, which is up of

:12:00. > :12:05.three main parts, including light sleep, when you're drifting out of

:12:06. > :12:09.sleep. So here is me sleeping now. Stage two is deeper. He spent most

:12:10. > :12:14.of your night in stage two. I look comfortable. And then stage three is

:12:15. > :12:21.really deep sleep, when you are out cold. And then there is REM sleep,

:12:22. > :12:32.rapid eye movement sleep, which is dreaming sleep.

:12:33. > :12:34.Have you ever seen a dog twitching and making wuffing

:12:35. > :12:38.That's when they are in REM sleep, and probably dreaming

:12:39. > :12:42.How do you know what's going on when people are asleep?

:12:43. > :12:50.What is going on here? I am setting you up with electrodes. When you are

:12:51. > :12:54.asleep, your brain has different activity patterns, difference to

:12:55. > :12:59.when you are awake. If we look here... These are your pictures.

:13:00. > :13:06.This is you in stage one, light sleep. You can see smooth, quiet

:13:07. > :13:10.signals they are. And that is in your deep sleep. Here, you are

:13:11. > :13:19.actually out cold, well and truly asleep. Could you tell if I was

:13:20. > :13:24.freshly asleep? You did fall asleep quickly, were you tired? I was,

:13:25. > :13:30.yeah. This one, do you remember dreaming? I dreamt, but don't

:13:31. > :13:37.remember it. Talking of that, what our dreams? It is a natural part of

:13:38. > :13:40.your nights sleep. Nightmares, even though they are frightening, they

:13:41. > :13:43.are normal. It is a normal thing going on and most people grow out of

:13:44. > :13:47.them. They are not something to worry about but if nightmares are

:13:48. > :13:59.concerning, then you should talk to your parents about it. But they are

:14:00. > :14:02.a normal relaxing thing. Actually, it is when important

:14:03. > :14:04.a normal relaxing thing. Actually, consolidation studies going on. It

:14:05. > :14:11.is a fascinating area. A lot of our viewers have asked questions. Green

:14:12. > :14:15.and Peral asked, what is sleep, that bit between your eyes? During the

:14:16. > :14:16.day, you are bleating away, bit between your eyes? During the

:14:17. > :14:20.you are asleep, you are bit between your eyes? During the

:14:21. > :14:23.all those hours bit between your eyes? During the

:14:24. > :14:27.you are not getting a chance to wipe your eyes. It is just two years,

:14:28. > :14:34.maybe some oil from your skin, maybe skin cells, everything is fine and

:14:35. > :14:39.natural. Give it a white in the morning. Magenta says, why do we

:14:40. > :14:44.sleep walk or sleep talk? That is an important question, because when you

:14:45. > :14:47.are in that deep stage sleep, you have partially woken up but you are

:14:48. > :15:01.still out cold. Why can I never remember my dreams

:15:02. > :15:06.when I wake up? It is a sign of good quality nights sleep. Most of all,

:15:07. > :15:11.we remember our dreams if we are woken up and disturbed. What top

:15:12. > :15:20.tips can we have for a perfect night's sleep? Have a routine. Same

:15:21. > :15:25.bedtime every night. Calm, quiet, relaxed and cool room. Tablets,

:15:26. > :15:33.phones, televisions give off blue light. That mimic sunlight and it

:15:34. > :15:39.tells your brain to stay awake. They are not good for you. A good, calm

:15:40. > :15:45.routine and enjoy your sleep. It's good for you. As natural as eating

:15:46. > :15:50.and breathing. I'm sure that everyone would agree that what you

:15:51. > :15:59.have said is fascinating. A round of applause please for Collett. Behind

:16:00. > :16:01.our heads is a dream catcher. If you would like to make one, the details

:16:02. > :16:08.of how to do it are online. Now onto this week's Big Badge Wall,

:16:09. > :16:24.full of your amazing post you've If you can see yourself on there,

:16:25. > :16:28.you have got a blue Peter Bradshaw. -- a blue Peter badge.

:16:29. > :16:30.Armadillos are trending on the wall this week.

:16:31. > :16:32.Mark, 7, from Glazebury, has sent in a picture

:16:33. > :16:46.And I love this armadillo booklet sent in from Jessica, 7, from Kent.

:16:47. > :16:53.He is wearing a little badge. If I open up the booklet, she has

:16:54. > :17:00.included loads of brilliant fact about Armadillos.

:17:01. > :17:06.She also asks, "What did Mellon, the armadillo feel like?

:17:07. > :17:18.She really did feel like a melon. I loved feeling her. Did you say, what

:17:19. > :17:22.would my face looked like made out of a puppy mache balloon?

:17:23. > :17:27.Sent in from Larissa, 9, from Rossendale.

:17:28. > :17:30.I like this picture of me playing hockey, which has

:17:31. > :17:33.been sent from Sara, 11 from Lochgelly.

:17:34. > :17:39.I have got my plaits and my hockey stick and I am really going for it.

:17:40. > :17:43.It's even got the newly designed Sport Badge 2016 on there.

:17:44. > :17:50.We launched it last week in all its glory. I like it.

:17:51. > :17:54.Poppy, aged 10 from Conwy has created this Diddy Barney,

:17:55. > :17:58.after he visited the set of Diddy TV.

:17:59. > :18:12.With a greener screen. Thanks for sending them in. If you have made

:18:13. > :18:17.them and reached the wall, you have got a blue Peter badge.

:18:18. > :18:20.So, if you want the chance to see your Iggy art work

:18:21. > :18:25.Talking of Iggy, we know you all love seeing our Guide Dog

:18:26. > :18:28.through her training over the last couple of years, well the time has

:18:29. > :18:30.finally come for Iggy to meet her new owner and friend

:18:31. > :18:42.Meet Callum, he lives with his mum in Bradford and there is a new

:18:43. > :18:50.addition to their family, e.g.. Iggy. I would describe his

:18:51. > :18:56.personality as mischievous, and cheeky. Similar to how she has been

:18:57. > :19:00.in the studio on the live show. Her favourite game is to find a slipper

:19:01. > :19:08.or a trainer or hide it in a random place. Callum has been blind since

:19:09. > :19:13.birth and recently used a cane to help him get around. He has never

:19:14. > :19:22.had a guide dog so when Nicky came into his life, it was a big change.

:19:23. > :19:30.I was nervous at first because I have never had a pet dog. At the

:19:31. > :19:38.same time, I was so excited. Cal used to find a simple journeys quite

:19:39. > :19:46.tricky. Before Iggy joined our family, it was a real task to get

:19:47. > :19:52.around. My mum would have to go out and make sure there weren't too many

:19:53. > :19:57.things in my way. Now, Iggy can get me around a lot safer. But walking

:19:58. > :20:05.around with Iggy took a lot of getting used to. Sometimes the dog

:20:06. > :20:13.might go too fast for me. But she was perfect. I was told that the way

:20:14. > :20:20.I was walking was like a robot because I was nervous but once I get

:20:21. > :20:26.over that I was all right. As well as a 15 minute walk to his Nana's

:20:27. > :20:31.house he is also able to make the journey to college without his mum's

:20:32. > :20:35.help. I have a ten minute bus ride and from the bus stop I have to walk

:20:36. > :20:40.to the station and get on a train for a couple of minutes. Then I have

:20:41. > :20:46.a five-minute walk to college. To get through that with a cane is more

:20:47. > :20:52.complicated than with a dog. Iggy can see and so she can guide me

:20:53. > :20:59.around things that aren't safe. It is confidence that you don't get a

:21:00. > :21:06.cane. Having Iggy has changed Callum's life totally. He has his

:21:07. > :21:15.independence and his mobility. They are best friends and she is just

:21:16. > :21:21.amazing. In just a few months, Iggy and Calum Howarth become a very

:21:22. > :21:27.special team. She has changed my life so much. I can't wait for what

:21:28. > :21:32.is coming in the future. I can't wait for the adventures that we're

:21:33. > :21:39.going to have. Watching that, I had a tea in my life. It is so nice to

:21:40. > :21:44.see how well they are getting on. Iggy is really changing his life.

:21:45. > :21:47.Speaking of which, they are both going to be in the studio next week.

:21:48. > :21:50.From one special dog to another, it's time for an amazing

:21:51. > :21:53.performance from Agent Pudsey and Agent Ashleigh, as they take

:21:54. > :21:55.on some pesky cat burglars to save the world,

:21:56. > :24:45.APPLAUSE CHEERING

:24:46. > :24:53.What a little hero. Pudsey is brilliant. That show looks like it

:24:54. > :24:57.is going to be incredible. Apart from amazing acrobatics, what can we

:24:58. > :25:01.expect from the show? There is something for everyone and we want

:25:02. > :25:07.the audience to get involved with the show. We go around the world,

:25:08. > :25:15.basically. He is a super dog. He has a jet pack.

:25:16. > :25:18.Pudsey has been in the news recently involving Simon Cowell, how's

:25:19. > :25:39.He was in trouble with Simon but it's all OK now.

:25:40. > :25:41.We're touring around theatres in the UK,

:25:42. > :25:47.And if you want to see more from Pudsey , head

:25:48. > :25:50.online as he answers some of your questions.

:25:51. > :25:52.Earlier in the show, we asked you what your wrestler

:25:53. > :26:14.I would be called the tiny talkative tormentor. Because I talk too much.

:26:15. > :26:23.Hot cookie would be my name. My signature move would be the fists of

:26:24. > :26:31.Fury. It sounds awesome. Earthquake erupting. I would be fast and scary

:26:32. > :26:38.like an earthquake erupting. I would be called Bacon lady. I love bacon.

:26:39. > :26:46.I would shoot it at people. You have to be careful. You have to rasher

:26:47. > :26:58.the bacon. Big bicep Bob. As simple as that. I would be Bush EB because

:26:59. > :27:03.my hair is bushy. Have you said these in? A might have done. I

:27:04. > :27:06.apologise in advance. If you've been on the Fan Club page

:27:07. > :27:09.on the Blue Peter website today, you'll know we've been playing

:27:10. > :27:11.Presenter Bingo. I said the secret phrase 'triple

:27:12. > :27:14.threat' earlier in the show. We've got a special Fan Club

:27:15. > :27:25.takeover show in two weeks time, so head online and tell us

:27:26. > :27:39.what you want to see on the show There is a chat with a huge

:27:40. > :27:45.celebrity. It's me. Next week, we will be celebrating all things Iggy.

:27:46. > :27:50.We are celebrating her amazing last two years on the show. We have

:27:51. > :27:59.something special coming from hacker T dog. Make sure you are here. Same

:28:00. > :28:02.time, next week.
