:02:05. > :02:12.Here with 'You're Not Alone' - it's Joe and Jake!

:02:13. > :02:16.# Heartbeat, when you're not around its beating slow,

:02:17. > :02:21.# And it's something that I've never known

:02:22. > :02:32.# I'll be, I'll be the answer you've been waiting for

:02:33. > :02:36.# I'll be the truth that you've been looking for

:02:37. > :02:43.# You're not alone, we're in this together,

:02:44. > :02:52.# All that you want is right here forever

:02:53. > :03:20.# And when you fall I'll be your parachute

:03:21. > :03:30.# I-I-I feel like I'm dancing in the sky

:03:31. > :03:43.# You're not alone we're in this together

:03:44. > :03:46.# All that you want is right here forever

:04:51. > :05:11.Joe and Jake, straight up top. Thank you so much. Welcome to Blue Peter.

:05:12. > :05:16.Let's start at the beginning. Eurovision Song Contest. In two days

:05:17. > :05:20.you will be performing in Stockholm. How are you feeling? Pretty nervous.

:05:21. > :05:25.It is starting to kick in, but we will do everything we can to do

:05:26. > :05:31.everybody proud. We have our fingers crossed for you. What is lovely is

:05:32. > :05:37.that the public voted for you. Yes, it is amazing, that the UK public

:05:38. > :05:45.backed us and voted for us. We owe them a good result. And do we think

:05:46. > :05:53.they can do the business? Yes! Did you watch when you were younger? We

:05:54. > :06:01.did. Any favourites? My favourite was the winner from last year. I am

:06:02. > :06:09.a fan of Jena G. If you can beat her... All the best of luck. If you

:06:10. > :06:14.love Eurovision as much as we do, the second round is on tonight but

:06:15. > :06:19.the final is on BBC One on Saturday at 8pm.

:06:20. > :06:24.If you are having a Eurovision party, head to our website where Joe

:06:25. > :06:30.and Jake give their top three party tips. Check it out. If you are on

:06:31. > :06:37.the website and you fancy a laugh, find out what happened when they met

:06:38. > :06:39.Diddy Dick and Dom. Very funny. Onto another Lindsey against Radzi

:06:40. > :06:54.head-to-head, on the water and surfboards. I am ready. The beach is

:06:55. > :07:06.that way. Catching the first wave of the day, breaking the surface of the

:07:07. > :07:13.water. The freedom, the ride. Surfing. Some say it is in the soul.

:07:14. > :07:21.Lindsey. Be quiet, and try to make this look really cool. Are we

:07:22. > :07:26.missing something? What? A beach. Yes, fair point. When you think of

:07:27. > :07:31.surfing you probably don't imagine a lake in the Welsh countryside. This

:07:32. > :07:37.is surf Snowdonia, which attracts some of the best surfers in the

:07:38. > :07:42.world, like four times Welsh champion, Joe Denison. We can see

:07:43. > :07:50.how big the waves are, but we are not at a beach. How does this work?

:07:51. > :07:54.It is really simple. There is a big snowplough that goes down the pier

:07:55. > :07:59.and creates the waves, just like this. It goes through the water and

:08:00. > :08:05.pushes the water out of the way and you get good waves. So it creates a

:08:06. > :08:09.wave on each side. You made it look so easy. I don't think we will look

:08:10. > :08:17.like that. I have done a lot of surfing. On the internet. The

:08:18. > :08:24.snowplough creates a two metre waves every 90 seconds. Joe is going to

:08:25. > :08:30.give us a masterclass, but we need to start on dry land. This is the

:08:31. > :08:36.front and this is the tale. The top, where we will be standing. And the

:08:37. > :08:41.fins help you with steering. But before we even think about steering,

:08:42. > :08:46.we need to master standing up. When you are lying on the board, keep

:08:47. > :08:52.your toes together. You can see the waves coming. Look over your

:08:53. > :09:04.shoulder, start to paddle. Quick! Right, one, two, and you are

:09:05. > :09:11.surfing. OK! I am surfing. You are off! Time to get in the water?

:09:12. > :09:27.Sounds good. We are getting in the water. Lindsey. Shall we go? Yes, I

:09:28. > :09:33.love a water based challenge. First, Joe wants us to get used to catching

:09:34. > :09:38.the waves. We need to lie down and paddle as hard as we can with our

:09:39. > :09:46.arms. And when you get it right, it is so much fun.

:09:47. > :09:56.Now we have a feel for the waves, it is time to try and stand up. This is

:09:57. > :10:03.so much harder than it looks. And Joe has not finished with us yet. We

:10:04. > :10:07.have time for one more surf session. We are going to do a challenge.

:10:08. > :10:15.Whoever stands up for the longest on a wave will be crowned Blue Peter

:10:16. > :10:19.surfing superstar. Wow! So, it is the best of three waves. Who can

:10:20. > :10:27.stay up the longest? I am first. Here we go. That didn't quite go to

:10:28. > :10:37.plan. Unlucky. My turn. No, got the timing all right. Around two. I

:10:38. > :10:44.managed to catch the wave. But again, I just can't stand up. Lets

:10:45. > :10:50.see if I can do better. I am actually up! That must count,

:10:51. > :11:00.surely. Time for my final go. I cannot let Radzi win. Nearly. Oh,

:11:01. > :11:09.no. Come on, one last chance to get it right. This is the one. I am

:11:10. > :11:21.surfing. I am actually surfing. I am up, balancing, I think I have done

:11:22. > :11:26.it. I just surfed a wave properly! I loved it. I absolutely loved it.

:11:27. > :11:31.When you get it, you feel on top of the world. Here you go. I think you

:11:32. > :11:43.won this fair and square today. Look at that. Hit the water and go and

:11:44. > :11:48.ride it in. Let's go. I will paddle! I surfed the wave. Yes! I will let

:11:49. > :11:53.you have that because I have never seen you happier. If you want more

:11:54. > :12:00.surfing silliness, head online where you can see us having a go at surf

:12:01. > :12:04.or turf. Have a look at this little girl. This is Shelley, and she will

:12:05. > :12:10.be hiding somewhere. She is somewhere in the studio. If you can

:12:11. > :12:15.spot her, let us know where she is. Let's talk about Dream Big, our

:12:16. > :12:19.latest competition, launched last week, involving Stephen Spielberg

:12:20. > :12:27.and Roald Dahl's Big Friendly Giant. This is how to apply. As part of

:12:28. > :12:31.Roald Dahl's 100th birthday celebrations and to mark the arrival

:12:32. > :12:36.of the Big Friendly Giant to the big screen, we are launching a giant

:12:37. > :12:41.competition. We want you to create your very own dream story. It can be

:12:42. > :12:47.about anything, anywhere, at any time. The winning entry will be

:12:48. > :12:55.turned into an amazing animation, and we have got a very special panel

:12:56. > :13:02.lined up to judge them. Joining Ruby is Roald Dahl's youngest daughter,

:13:03. > :13:07.Lucy. I will be looking for a clear story, great characters and real

:13:08. > :13:12.imagination. And the winner will be in with a chance of meeting a

:13:13. > :13:17.Hollywood legend. I am Stephen Spielberg, director of the BFG.

:13:18. > :13:23.Details of how to enter are on the BBC website. Now it is your turn to

:13:24. > :13:29.trim bash backward Dream Big. You want to apply, don't you? Let's

:13:30. > :13:33.talk about the details. Your dream needs to be original, including

:13:34. > :13:38.original characters and settings. You need to make sure that you draw

:13:39. > :13:42.a beginning, a middle and the end. That is really important. It will

:13:43. > :13:46.all be on the form, so make sure you fill it out. If scoring is not your

:13:47. > :13:51.thing, don't worry, just get your ideas down, make them clear,

:13:52. > :13:58.engaging and magical. Jumped onto the website and download your form.

:13:59. > :14:01.It looks something like this. It is three pages long. Make sure you fill

:14:02. > :14:06.out all the details. If you missed any of them today, head to the

:14:07. > :14:12.website for the terms and conditions. Also important is the

:14:13. > :14:19.closing date, Monday, 12 noon on the 23rd of May. We are only accepting

:14:20. > :14:23.postal entries. So apply now. Well, after the show. We are very excited

:14:24. > :14:30.to have Iggy back and excited that she has brought along her new owner,

:14:31. > :14:36.Callum. Hello, Callum. How are you? Welcome to the studio. Iggy knows

:14:37. > :14:45.that we are live, so she is having a snooze. I am glad you are awake. You

:14:46. > :14:51.have had a busy day. Newsround, ABC breakfast, Radio Leeds, all over the

:14:52. > :14:56.place. You are a celebrity couple. You have had her for two and a half

:14:57. > :15:03.months. How has it been going? Really well. She moved in in

:15:04. > :15:10.February and we have been training. As you have seen from last week, we

:15:11. > :15:15.have mastered college and my Nan 's and all that. It is going great.

:15:16. > :15:23.Would you say it has changed your life? Yes. Definitely. Not even just

:15:24. > :15:26.getting out and about but my independence in general. It is a new

:15:27. > :15:33.friend and a new thing to look after. Have you introduced her to

:15:34. > :15:38.all your friends? They love her. I know she works hard, but you like to

:15:39. > :15:43.chill out as well. What do you do when you are just hanging out? She

:15:44. > :15:52.loves playing in the garden, or just playing around the house. She loves

:15:53. > :15:58.her toy. Now, enough about Iggy. We love her, but we love you and we

:15:59. > :16:04.want to know about you. What are you into? I play golf occasionally. I

:16:05. > :16:10.love music and I'm getting into DJ. I am seeing what I can do with that.

:16:11. > :16:17.Also, I started stand-up comedy not long ago. Has she been along to

:16:18. > :16:23.watch you and had a laugh? I don't think she likes my jokes. Come on,

:16:24. > :16:31.Iggy. You have to be supportive. Someone has told us it is your

:16:32. > :16:36.birthday today. 17, everyone. So, you did not know we were going to do

:16:37. > :16:42.this but Radzi is coming on and we have a little surprise which we will

:16:43. > :16:46.put next to you. It is your very own Iggy cake. It is magic, and the most

:16:47. > :16:55.lifelike cake I have ever seen. It could be a member of her family. And

:16:56. > :17:01.apparently it is made of chocolate. Your favourite. Yes. Also, we did

:17:02. > :17:10.not want to leave Iggy out, so we have a little bone. Iggy. A little

:17:11. > :17:15.birthday bone. She likes that. Callum, thank you for coming in. You

:17:16. > :17:17.are hanging around for a chat later and for your favourite Iggy moments.

:17:18. > :17:23.Thank you, Callum. This bone smells really meaty,

:17:24. > :17:30.doesn't it? There's far too many moments

:17:31. > :17:43.to talk about so we've put In 2014 new Blue Peter puppy came

:17:44. > :17:50.along and we were all instantly in love. Good girl! In just two years

:17:51. > :17:59.she has grown from an adorable pup to a confident, clever guide dog.

:18:00. > :18:04.This is Iggy's story. Iggy was the seventh in a litter of eight putts.

:18:05. > :18:07.She was always destined for guide dogs training, and after just six

:18:08. > :18:16.weeks it was time to see if she had what it takes. She passed with

:18:17. > :18:22.flying colours, of course. Nice one, Iggs. Just two weeks later she

:18:23. > :18:28.joined us in the Blue Peter studio for her first live TV debut. I can

:18:29. > :18:36.reveal the Blue Peter guide dog's name is Iggy. Hello, Iggy. Hello,

:18:37. > :18:43.Iggy. After settling into life as a Blue Peter dog and having some puppy

:18:44. > :18:46.sleepovers with me it was time for Iggy to meet the family that would

:18:47. > :18:55.chain her for the next year of her life. -- train her. By now it was

:18:56. > :18:58.clear you were all huge Iggy fans. From him in Leeds, check it out.

:18:59. > :19:07.Either from Bristol, Lovett. She was getting used to life in the

:19:08. > :19:12.spotlight, hanging out with some pretty big celebs. Please welcome

:19:13. > :19:21.Iggy the Labrador! Another showbiz dog even wrote a song about her.

:19:22. > :19:27.# When you came here I thought you replaced me!

:19:28. > :19:32.# Iggy took it all in her stride, she wasn't fussed. When her brothers

:19:33. > :19:36.and sisters paid her a birthday visit, it was another matter. Very

:19:37. > :19:41.exciting for them. We are getting them twisted. They are having such a

:19:42. > :19:45.good time, look how happy they are! Although she's pretty chilled out,

:19:46. > :19:50.when she wants to be, Iggy can be just a little bit cheeky. But it's

:19:51. > :19:55.not just been about Blue Peter. Iggy was also undergoing tough training

:19:56. > :20:00.to become a guide dog. There was no guarantee she'd make it all the way.

:20:01. > :20:08.Good. But when the time came for me to put my trust in her, she didn't

:20:09. > :20:12.let me down. Iggy, forward. Good girl. Now Iggy is fully trained and

:20:13. > :20:18.has formed a special bond with her new owner, Callum, helping him live

:20:19. > :20:23.a more independent life. We are also proud of Iggy and what she has

:20:24. > :20:25.achieved in just two years and we wish her the very best of luck on

:20:26. > :20:36.her new adventure. APPLAUSE I was loving those Iggy moment as

:20:37. > :20:40.much as she is loving that bone, she has been nibbling at it throughout.

:20:41. > :20:46.To celebrate Iggy we have covered the studio in your brilliant Iggy

:20:47. > :20:50.posters, even more than she had on her birthday. A super yellow badge

:20:51. > :20:56.wall, Iggy faces everywhere. Catriona, aged 10,

:20:57. > :21:15.from Edinburgh has sent this. Floppy tale, googly eyes. You have

:21:16. > :21:16.gained yourself a silver badge. This next piece of post is a double

:21:17. > :21:22.whammy. From Lucy and

:21:23. > :21:34.Ellie, both aged 9, This says hello, my name is Iggy.

:21:35. > :21:39.I'm getting bigger and starting to train as a guide dog. I'm a big girl

:21:40. > :21:50.now and ready to be a guide dog for Callum. Iggy, you are in a all of

:21:51. > :21:56.the post, you are a bit of a celeb! Jessica, aged seven, this is made of

:21:57. > :22:01.origami, very creative. Guide dog jacket on, and a little badge.

:22:02. > :22:06.Jessica, you have earned a badge, good job, my friend. I've got the

:22:07. > :22:16.joke about origami, you'll crease up! No, I'm on my own. Jacob from

:22:17. > :22:23.London played made this fantastic poster. His favourite egg toy,

:22:24. > :22:30.although Callum is on a trampoline, that's dangerous. Callum, have you

:22:31. > :22:40.got a trampoline? I've not, no, but I will do after that. Callum laughs

:22:41. > :22:44.in the face of health and safety. Of course we are huge fans of Iggy, but

:22:45. > :22:49.we are not the only ones. Performing with a quartet

:22:50. > :23:13.from the BBC Philharmonic # The first two years were lots of

:23:14. > :23:20.fun # But now your guide dog training's

:23:21. > :23:31.done # A brand-new life has just begun

:23:32. > :23:43.# You'll always be our Iggy pup # Remember girl on Radio 2

:23:44. > :23:50.# The birthday cake and we made few # So proud you started this new job

:23:51. > :23:55.# We love you, no matter what # So worry not

:23:56. > :24:10.# You'll always be our Blue Peter dog

:24:11. > :24:18.# Blue Peter friend for life # One dog like this one year we'll

:24:19. > :24:24.see you right # When you need a guide

:24:25. > :24:33.# One dog like this will see you right

:24:34. > :24:43.# You graduated guide dog high # And now is the time to say goodbye

:24:44. > :24:53.# You've graduated guide dog high # And now's the time to say goodbye

:24:54. > :24:58.# Blue Peter friend for life # One dog like this one year would

:24:59. > :25:07.see you right # When you need a guide

:25:08. > :25:09.# One dog like this one here will see you right

:25:10. > :25:21.#. Thank you! All right? One take. That was so brilliant. Ten out of

:25:22. > :25:26.ten. Head online for a karaoke version

:25:27. > :25:43.of Hacker's goodbye song We had similar questions coming in

:25:44. > :25:45.for Callum. This one says" when you are blind, do you just see whiteness

:25:46. > :25:54.or Black Mass? " It is hard to me to describe because

:25:55. > :26:00.I have always been blind. With mean never having site, you don't really

:26:01. > :26:12.know what they are, to be honest. I suppose just blackness. This one

:26:13. > :26:18.says, in what ways will Iggy help you in day-to-day life? Basically,

:26:19. > :26:22.with a cane like I used to use, the main difference is, if you are out

:26:23. > :26:27.and about and there is an obstacle, you come into contact with it, so

:26:28. > :26:34.you have to hit the bin, parked car or whatever, find your own way

:26:35. > :26:38.round, whereas Iggy can see, and she can guide me round. Many times she

:26:39. > :26:43.has walked me past something and I haven't even known it was there.

:26:44. > :26:48.She's a little hero. We've got a favourite moment here, it says "I

:26:49. > :26:53.loved when she had a bath and everybody got water everywhere", and

:26:54. > :27:00.we love that, too. I just want to thank the guide dogs team so much.

:27:01. > :27:05.All the trainers, even Iggy's puppy walker there is just so much hard

:27:06. > :27:23.work that goes into it. Thank you so much, Callum, and thanks for coming

:27:24. > :27:27.in. Blue violet spotted Shelley. Make sure you are watching next

:27:28. > :27:33.time, it is the fan club takeover. You can control the show through the

:27:34. > :27:38.fan club. We will send one of these two items, can you see them, there?

:27:39. > :27:48.We will send into space. This is not a drill, I'm not joking. Get online

:27:49. > :27:53.and vote. We will explain how you can become an official Blue Peter

:27:54. > :28:00.fan. It's going to be a special shows. It will indeed. I can barely

:28:01. > :28:01.hear you because Iggy is chewing on that bone so much. See you next
