7:34:23 > 7:34:26I'm wearing my pyjamas, because, I don't know when,

7:34:26 > 7:34:28but, like, we're going to be doing a pyjama day.

7:34:28 > 7:34:31A pyjama day sounds like something I want to do every week.

7:34:38 > 7:34:40So, I can't believe I'm saying this.

7:34:40 > 7:34:42Over the past few weeks, you've seen me face my fears.

7:34:42 > 7:34:45You've seen me battle the weather and time itself.

7:34:45 > 7:34:47Well, it's finally here.

7:34:47 > 7:34:50The time when you're going to get to see the final part

7:34:50 > 7:34:53of my Children In Need Blue Peter RAF Falcons special.

7:34:56 > 7:34:57It's time to jump with the Falcons.

7:34:57 > 7:35:00- I'm actually going to be jumping with the Falcons?- Yes.

7:35:00 > 7:35:02I can't tell you how much that means to me.

7:35:04 > 7:35:09I've earnt the right to make a dream of a lifetime come true.

7:35:09 > 7:35:12With the help of some of the RAF's finest instructors,

7:35:12 > 7:35:16I've passed an intensive skydive course.

7:35:16 > 7:35:18We landed it on our feet!

7:35:18 > 7:35:21Meaning I get to perform a freefall jump

7:35:21 > 7:35:24with their iconic parachute display team -

7:35:24 > 7:35:26the RAF Falcons.

7:35:27 > 7:35:30It's been an incredible journey

7:35:30 > 7:35:35in which I've pushed myself to the absolute limit.

7:35:35 > 7:35:39And after all that, I've got to attempt to put everything together

7:35:39 > 7:35:43in what could be the most spectacular routine

7:35:43 > 7:35:48Blue Peter and the Falcons have ever attempted as one.

7:35:48 > 7:35:52Blue Peter presenters jumping with the Falcons is a legendary challenge

7:35:52 > 7:35:55that stretches back more than 50 years.

7:35:55 > 7:36:00I found I was enjoying flashing through the air at 120mph.

7:36:00 > 7:36:03I'd become the first woman in Britain to freefall

7:36:03 > 7:36:05over 16,000 feet.

7:36:07 > 7:36:09Now, for Children In Need,

7:36:09 > 7:36:13I'm attempting to write a new unique chapter

7:36:13 > 7:36:15in what's an already amazing story...

7:36:19 > 7:36:23..as I try to freefall.

7:36:28 > 7:36:32For my challenge, I'll be part of two of the team's signature moves -

7:36:32 > 7:36:34a freefall formation,

7:36:34 > 7:36:37then the famous parachute stack.

7:36:37 > 7:36:38If all of this wasn't enough,

7:36:38 > 7:36:42I'll then attempt to hit a special target on the ground.

7:36:43 > 7:36:45Apart from Blue Peter presenters,

7:36:45 > 7:36:48the Falcons have never jumped with a civilian before,

7:36:48 > 7:36:52so it's up to team coach Flight Sergeant Ceri Marshman

7:36:52 > 7:36:54to make sure we're all up to speed.

7:36:54 > 7:36:56Welcome to the team, Radzi.

7:36:59 > 7:37:04In the first of our two jumps, we'll try a freefall formation,

7:37:04 > 7:37:06creating a pattern in the air,

7:37:06 > 7:37:08before opening our parachutes.

7:37:08 > 7:37:10I'll be in the middle

7:37:10 > 7:37:12and will have to maintain total control

7:37:12 > 7:37:14for the Falcons to form around me.

7:37:14 > 7:37:16What we're going to have is Alex and Mark,

7:37:16 > 7:37:18you're going to launch him out.

7:37:18 > 7:37:20Al and John, you're going to be out the side,

7:37:20 > 7:37:23and then me and Smithy, we're going to be first divers

7:37:23 > 7:37:24to build the bottom of the formation.

7:37:24 > 7:37:26We'll all have to stay together

7:37:26 > 7:37:29whilst leaving the plane at the same time,

7:37:29 > 7:37:31which requires amazing precision.

7:37:33 > 7:37:36OK, fellas, set yourself up in the mock-up.

7:37:36 > 7:37:37- Check out.- OK.

7:37:37 > 7:37:39Wing tip, out, in, out.

7:37:42 > 7:37:45Radzi, keep your head up, maintain our arch to maintain the freefall

7:37:45 > 7:37:48and then you come and join in last at the front edge.

7:37:48 > 7:37:49Any questions?

7:37:51 > 7:37:55Once in the air, we'll only have 40 seconds to get in formation,

7:37:55 > 7:37:59so we use trolleys to rehearse who goes where and when.

7:37:59 > 7:38:01We only get one chance at this

7:38:01 > 7:38:03so it's really important that I get it right.

7:38:03 > 7:38:06OK, 7,000 feet.

7:38:06 > 7:38:086,000 feet.

7:38:08 > 7:38:105,000 feet.

7:38:10 > 7:38:114,000 feet.

7:38:11 > 7:38:13Skydive over.

7:38:16 > 7:38:22Jump two is something no Blue Peter presenter has ever done before -

7:38:22 > 7:38:24the iconic Falcon stack.

7:38:24 > 7:38:26I'll be at the bottom

7:38:26 > 7:38:30as each member of the team forms a giant column under parachute.

7:38:30 > 7:38:34I'll have to turn at the right time so the team can stay in sync.

7:38:34 > 7:38:36Radzi, you're going to join our canopy stack.

7:38:36 > 7:38:39If you look at the board, this is our stack.

7:38:39 > 7:38:42The T signifies which way the wind is coming from.

7:38:42 > 7:38:45So what you'll see in the canopy is us slightly above you

7:38:45 > 7:38:48forming a full canopy stack with smoke - and you'll be lowest.

7:38:48 > 7:38:52One wrong move and you can risk tangling parachutes,

7:38:52 > 7:38:55and that can lead to serious problems,

7:38:55 > 7:38:59so we practice again and again.

7:38:59 > 7:39:01Ready, set, go.

7:39:01 > 7:39:04Turning right, 180, turning right now.

7:39:04 > 7:39:06Smoke on, smoke on, smoke on now.

7:39:06 > 7:39:08Alternate stack now.

7:39:08 > 7:39:09After all this,

7:39:09 > 7:39:14I'll be trying to touch down on a Blue Peter targets on the ground.

7:39:14 > 7:39:18This is the most complex challenge the Falcons have ever attempted

7:39:18 > 7:39:20with Blue Peter.

7:39:20 > 7:39:22We are trying to make history.

7:39:22 > 7:39:26Just one mistake from me ruins this entire challenge.

7:39:26 > 7:39:28There's a lot of responsibility on my shoulders,

7:39:28 > 7:39:31and I just want to do it well.

7:39:34 > 7:39:36As I try to take everything in,

7:39:36 > 7:39:39my instructor, Tony, has something he wants me to see.

7:39:39 > 7:39:40- Hey, Radzi.- Hey, Tony.

7:39:40 > 7:39:44- I want you to watch that before you get in the plane.- Oh, wow.

7:39:44 > 7:39:46This is huge.

7:39:46 > 7:39:48That's my sister, Rufaro.

7:39:48 > 7:39:51You've got this. I love you.

7:39:51 > 7:39:54- We're were all thinking about you. - Mum!

7:39:54 > 7:39:56Really proud of you and wish you all the best.

7:39:56 > 7:39:58You take care. See you soon.

7:39:58 > 7:40:01I know you, so I know you're just going to want to

7:40:01 > 7:40:02get out there and do it.

7:40:02 > 7:40:04We're really proud of you. Go for it, Radz!

7:40:04 > 7:40:07That means... That... Yeah.

7:40:07 > 7:40:10There's nothing more to say, other than we've just got to do it.

7:40:10 > 7:40:12Done them proud.

7:40:12 > 7:40:15- Well, thank you very much. - Really good.

7:40:15 > 7:40:17When I began my training,

7:40:17 > 7:40:19I never imagined I would get this far...

7:40:21 > 7:40:26..and now I find myself surrounded by the best in the business.

7:40:26 > 7:40:28The RAF Falcons - I'm jumping with them!

7:40:28 > 7:40:31When I saw Simon Thomas take on this challenge,

7:40:31 > 7:40:34it inspired me to become a Blue Peter presenter.

7:40:34 > 7:40:37- Are you ready to skydive, Simon? - Ready to skydive.

7:40:37 > 7:40:38In the door after me.

7:40:38 > 7:40:43Fast forward a lot of years, I'm now sat here as one,

7:40:43 > 7:40:46doing the very challenge that inspired me.

7:40:46 > 7:40:51So, hopefully this might inspire one of you to do exactly the same.

7:40:51 > 7:40:55I'm so determined to do my thing for Children In Need.

7:40:55 > 7:40:58First up, the freefall formation.

7:40:58 > 7:41:00- OK, mate.- Check in.- OK.

7:41:00 > 7:41:03- Check out.- OK. - Wing tip, out, in, out.

7:41:05 > 7:41:08I leave the plane with two of the Falcons.

7:41:08 > 7:41:11This time, I just can't afford to move side to side

7:41:11 > 7:41:15because we make the line that the rest of the team can form around.

7:41:16 > 7:41:18We get into position,

7:41:18 > 7:41:21then the other Falcons start to arrive.

7:41:26 > 7:41:29It's so hard to maintain control.

7:41:29 > 7:41:33One slip from me, though, and the whole thing will fall apart.

7:41:37 > 7:41:40Time is running out before we have to pull our parachutes.

7:41:40 > 7:41:43I just don't want to let the rest of the team down.

7:41:45 > 7:41:47And then...

7:41:53 > 7:41:57At exactly the same time, they're gone.

7:41:57 > 7:41:59They make that look so easy!

7:42:06 > 7:42:10That was one of the most incredible things I've ever done.

7:42:10 > 7:42:12The Falcons were on there in seconds.

7:42:12 > 7:42:13They were quick, weren't they?

7:42:13 > 7:42:16And I just tried to remember what you've taught me -

7:42:16 > 7:42:18stay relaxed, keep symmetrical.

7:42:18 > 7:42:19- It did look good.- Yeah.

7:42:19 > 7:42:23You were enjoying it, cos you were smiling, tongue was sticking out.

7:42:23 > 7:42:24RADZI LAUGHS That was good. Well done.

7:42:24 > 7:42:28- Now time for part two. - You achieved it, well done.- Yes!

7:42:28 > 7:42:30That's only half the challenge.

7:42:30 > 7:42:34As they get ready for the second jump, it dawns on me -

7:42:34 > 7:42:37this could be the last time I ever jump out of a plane.

7:42:37 > 7:42:43So, here we go, my last ever jump, and it's with the Falcons.

7:42:43 > 7:42:45Come on!

7:42:45 > 7:42:48Is there a better way to finish?

7:42:48 > 7:42:51I'm going to be a part of the Falcons stack,

7:42:51 > 7:42:56and try to land on the Blue Peter target.

7:42:56 > 7:43:00The skill here is controlling my flight under the parachute.

7:43:00 > 7:43:06First, I need to move smoothly and slowly so they can stack above me.

7:43:06 > 7:43:10If I can do it, I write Blue Peter history.

7:43:11 > 7:43:13That's all copied. The drop zone's clear.

7:43:13 > 7:43:15Start the challenge when you're ready.

7:43:15 > 7:43:17Wing tips out, in, out.

7:43:19 > 7:43:21No, Radzi! I've lost control again.

7:43:21 > 7:43:23I need to steady myself.

7:43:23 > 7:43:26The Falcons can't jump until I level out.

7:43:27 > 7:43:31The team now have to catch me and get into formation.

7:43:34 > 7:43:35Whoo!

7:43:36 > 7:43:38We are open.

7:43:39 > 7:43:44I need to get into a turning pattern so the rest of the stack can follow.

7:43:46 > 7:43:48Above me, they start to form.

7:43:53 > 7:43:55Whoo!

7:43:55 > 7:44:00The combination of concentration and adrenaline

7:44:00 > 7:44:03is absolutely unbelievable.

7:44:03 > 7:44:06As I check my canopy, I see them!

7:44:06 > 7:44:09Oh, my goodness, they're directly above me.!

7:44:13 > 7:44:19I'm the first civilian to ever join an RAF Falcon stack.

7:44:19 > 7:44:21To be gliding through the air as a team
