7:37:35 > 7:37:38I feel a bit silly talking to you like this, but that was amazing.
7:37:38 > 7:37:41Bit of a funny back story as to how you ended up on Blue Peter
7:37:41 > 7:37:43cos it's all down to the fans, isn't it?
7:37:43 > 7:37:47Yes, pretty much the fans started a campaign online

7:38:16 > 7:38:19Well, actually, it's funny you should say that
7:38:19 > 7:38:22cos speaking of that, we've got a little photo. Let's have a look.
7:38:22 > 7:38:26Because back in 2009, this is Tristan. Yes, I'm sorry.
7:38:26 > 7:38:28You didn't know we were going to do this,
7:38:28 > 7:38:30but in 2009 you were on BP when you were 12.
7:38:30 > 7:38:32You're now back doing something else.
7:38:32 > 7:38:34We all know that equals a silver badge.
7:38:34 > 7:38:37So, without further ado, you've earned your very own
7:38:37 > 7:38:40Blue Peter silver badge.
7:38:40 > 7:38:43- How good is that? - Wow, this is amazing.
7:38:43 > 7:38:45- Speechless. - Yeah, I'm speechless right now.
7:38:45 > 7:38:47Don't put it on just yet cos you can't come here
7:38:47 > 7:38:49and not get involved, can you?
7:38:49 > 7:38:52I mean, you have sung a song, but MauveSewingBear said
7:38:52 > 7:38:55they'd like to see a dance-off with you guys.
7:38:55 > 7:38:57So I'm going to split you into two teams.
7:38:57 > 7:39:02You have had some rehearsal time. We've got Team One, Team Two.
7:39:02 > 7:39:04And the losers are going to have a forfeit
7:39:04 > 7:39:06when we announce BP Fan Of The Month.
7:39:06 > 7:39:07Are you guys ready?
7:39:07 > 7:39:11- So ready.- Ready.- Three, two, one. Cue the music.
7:39:13 > 7:39:16Here we go. Nice.
7:39:18 > 7:39:20OK, interesting.
7:39:20 > 7:39:22Lovely. Lovely.
7:39:22 > 7:39:24- Here we go.- Wow.
7:39:24 > 7:39:25HOOTER
7:39:25 > 7:39:29Stop. That hurt my eyes. That was bad, AND you've had rehearsal time.
7:39:29 > 7:39:32- Yeah, I know. - It's time to announce the winner.
7:39:32 > 7:39:35The winner of the dance-off goes to Team One!
7:39:37 > 7:39:41- I'm sorry, you guys.- It was a fix. - It wasn't a fix, how dare you?
7:39:42 > 7:39:45So, I think it is pretty safe to say that that was incredible.
7:39:45 > 7:39:48However, something else which is incredible is something
7:39:48 > 7:39:52which PurplePug has requested. You wanted to see a massive challenge.
7:39:52 > 7:39:55Well, you're about to see part two of my genuinely incredible,
7:39:55 > 7:39:59genuinely terrifying Children In Need Freefall Challenge.
7:39:59 > 7:40:01Enjoy, darlings. It's #awesome.
7:40:03 > 7:40:07To inspire you to do your thing for Children In Need this year,
7:40:07 > 7:40:11I've taken on the biggest challenge of my life.
7:40:11 > 7:40:13Wow!
7:40:13 > 7:40:16I'm attempting to become part of Blue Peter history
7:40:16 > 7:40:19and perform a freefall skydive routine
7:40:19 > 7:40:22with the legendary RAF Falcons.
7:40:22 > 7:40:26I'm actually going to do that. It's really brought it home.
7:40:26 > 7:40:29Join me as I try to freefall.
7:40:32 > 7:40:35In part one, I undertook ground training
7:40:35 > 7:40:37with the Falcons back in the UK.
7:40:37 > 7:40:39Wing tip, out.
7:40:39 > 7:40:41In.
7:40:41 > 7:40:42Hurl hips.
7:40:42 > 7:40:46Now, I've travelled to their winter training base in California
7:40:46 > 7:40:49to begin an intensive skydive course.
7:40:52 > 7:40:57The weather normally makes this the perfect place for the Falcons
7:40:57 > 7:40:59to put in thousands of practice jumps.
7:40:59 > 7:41:02So I can't wait to get up there and join them.
7:41:02 > 7:41:03But then...
7:41:06 > 7:41:08This is a powerful storm.
7:41:08 > 7:41:10Hundreds of homes have been evacuated.
7:41:10 > 7:41:11This is crazy.
7:41:11 > 7:41:13The storm is massive.
7:41:13 > 7:41:15I've never seen anything like it.
7:41:17 > 7:41:20California is hit by freak storms,
7:41:20 > 7:41:23leaving behind a thick layer of cloud
7:41:23 > 7:41:26which could stop me jumping.
7:41:26 > 7:41:28The Falcons are busy in pre-season training,
7:41:28 > 7:41:30so I'll be taught by an ex-Falcon,
7:41:30 > 7:41:33Sergeant Tony Brooks.
7:41:33 > 7:41:36I'm hoping you're going to have good news for me today.
7:41:36 > 7:41:38The news doesn't look so good today.
7:41:38 > 7:41:41The cloud's low, there's rain in the air, it's probably dangerous
7:41:41 > 7:41:44for you to jump today, so we're not going to be jumping.
7:41:44 > 7:41:45- Definitely a no?- Definitely a no.
7:41:45 > 7:41:48- So, for today, what's the plan? - Do your ground training.
7:41:48 > 7:41:50You've already done some of that in the UK.
7:41:50 > 7:41:52We'll refresh that, go through everything to make sure
7:41:52 > 7:41:54you're perfectly happy with what you're going to do,
7:41:54 > 7:41:57- so you're ready for jumping. - Shall we crack on?- Let's go.
7:42:00 > 7:42:04I've been imagining myself jumping out of a plane
7:42:04 > 7:42:06every day for three weeks.
7:42:06 > 7:42:10And as I watch the Falcons do just that, the wait is agonising.
7:42:10 > 7:42:14Because of their qualifications, the fact they are the RAF Falcons,
7:42:14 > 7:42:16they can jump in these conditions.
7:42:16 > 7:42:18But I can't, so I just have to watch.
7:42:18 > 7:42:21But I want to be out there jumping, it's so frustrating.
7:42:24 > 7:42:28All I can do is focus on my ground training.
7:42:28 > 7:42:31But this could become a serious problem.
7:42:32 > 7:42:35Before I can skydive with the Falcons,
7:42:35 > 7:42:39I need to pass a military training course of ten successful jumps.
7:42:39 > 7:42:42However, I can only do four a day.
7:42:42 > 7:42:46And in less than a week, the Falcons leave California.
7:42:46 > 7:42:49I need to get up in that plane.
7:42:49 > 7:42:52All that's left for me to do is just wait.
7:42:52 > 7:42:53Wait and wait.
7:42:58 > 7:43:03Day 2, and the cloud is still too thick to jump.
7:43:03 > 7:43:05We wait...
7:43:05 > 7:43:08but it's not good.
7:43:08 > 7:43:12And I start to seriously worry about running out of time.
7:43:17 > 7:43:21From the moment I found out about this challenge, I've been so worried
7:43:21 > 7:43:24that I wouldn't be able to do it, that fear would overcome me
7:43:24 > 7:43:27and I wouldn't have what it takes.
7:43:28 > 7:43:31And yet, I'm sat in this plane, the very thing I want to be sat in,
7:43:31 > 7:43:34jumping out of it, and instead I'm sat here
7:43:34 > 7:43:37telling you that I don't even know if the challenge is on.
7:43:37 > 7:43:40The idea that we're not going to have enough time
7:43:40 > 7:43:41for me to get the jumps in,
7:43:41 > 7:43:45to be able to actually perform with the RAF Falcons...
7:43:47 > 7:43:49I can't even talk about it.
7:44:00 > 7:44:02Good morning.
7:44:02 > 7:44:04And it's a good one for a very good reason,
7:44:04 > 7:44:07and that is because the weather is improving.
7:44:07 > 7:44:09We still don't know if it's going to happen today,
7:44:09 > 7:44:11so I'm going to see my coach Tony
7:44:11 > 7:44:14and hopefully he's got good news for me.
7:44:14 > 7:44:15Fingers crossed.
7:44:18 > 7:44:21The news is even better than I hoped.
7:44:21 > 7:44:24Straightaway, Tony gets me into my parachute.
7:44:24 > 7:44:26We are go.
7:44:26 > 7:44:29I'm trying so hard to pretend I'm not scared. I am.
7:44:29 > 7:44:31Yeah, my heart is pounding.
7:44:31 > 7:44:37After two long days of waiting, this is about to happen.
7:44:40 > 7:44:42I'm jumping out of a plane today.
7:44:45 > 7:44:47But then, as the plane's climbing,
7:44:47 > 7:44:50there's a last-minute call from the ground.
7:44:50 > 7:44:51Tony, DZ.
7:44:54 > 7:44:56No jump?
7:44:58 > 7:45:00- We're not jumping? - It's too cloudy.
7:45:05 > 7:45:07So we're not jumping.
7:45:16 > 7:45:19At the last moment, the clouds become too thick
7:45:19 > 7:45:22and we have to return to the ground.
7:45:29 > 7:45:32To say I'm devastated doesn't cover it.
7:45:34 > 7:45:37I just don't know if this challenge is ever going to happen,
7:45:37 > 7:45:40that's the problem. Gutted.
7:45:41 > 7:45:44My dream of skydiving with the Falcons
7:45:44 > 7:45:46has never felt further away.
7:45:48 > 7:45:51Then, something changes.
7:45:53 > 7:45:57Unbelievably, we've been given a call that it's a go.
7:45:58 > 7:46:01There's been a break in the clouds, so we're now just going.
7:46:10 > 7:46:15But now it's time to do this thing that means the world to me.
7:46:15 > 7:46:16Let's jump out of a plane.
7:46:29 > 7:46:31I've never had the shakes before.
7:46:31 > 7:46:32Look at that.
7:46:32 > 7:46:34Look at that!
7:46:34 > 7:46:35Look at that.
7:46:37 > 7:46:40We've just had confirmation it's a go. Get in!
7:46:41 > 7:46:46It's got very serious all of a sudden. This is the real deal.
7:46:48 > 7:46:51- OK, are you ready to skydive?- Yes. - OK, in the door.
7:46:57 > 7:46:58- Check in.- OK.
7:46:58 > 7:46:59- Check out.- OK.
7:46:59 > 7:47:01Wing tip. Out.
7:47:27 > 7:47:29Wow!
7:47:29 > 7:47:32Wow, wow, wow!
7:47:33 > 7:47:39Of all the unbelievable things I've done with Blue Peter,
7:47:39 > 7:47:41nothing has beaten this.
7:47:41 > 7:47:43That's very good, Radzi, well done.
7:47:47 > 7:47:48Wow.
7:47:48 > 7:47:50Wow!
7:47:50 > 7:47:52That was
7:47:52 > 7:47:54the single most...
7:47:54 > 7:47:58overwhelming experience of my life.
7:47:59 > 7:48:04This has been a day I will never forget.
7:48:04 > 7:48:07And my challenge is finally under way.
7:48:12 > 7:48:15Now the jumps have to come thick and fast.
7:48:15 > 7:48:18The weather has messed up our schedule,
7:48:18 > 7:48:22meaning I've only got three days to complete my training.
7:48:22 > 7:48:25I can't afford any more setbacks.
7:48:28 > 7:48:33In my last jump, Tony held on to me until I pulled my parachute.
7:48:33 > 7:48:35- Are you happy, Radz?- Absolutely.
7:48:37 > 7:48:42Now, if I can perform the correct drills in time, he'll let go
7:48:42 > 7:48:45and let me freefall on my own.
7:48:50 > 7:48:54The thought of me being on my own is overwhelming.
7:48:54 > 7:48:57I'm not doing the drills I've practised quickly enough.
7:48:57 > 7:49:00There just doesn't seem to be enough time.
7:49:00 > 7:49:02Tony doesn't let go of me.
7:49:08 > 7:49:13- So that should be done by about 10,500 feet, not 8,000.- Right, fine.
7:49:13 > 7:49:15- So we'll have to repeat that one again.- OK.
7:49:15 > 7:49:18Right, first one failed, I've got to get back up soon.
7:49:20 > 7:49:24Tony needs to be sure I can complete each level of my training safely.
7:49:24 > 7:49:29So anything I don't get right, I need to repeat until I do.
7:49:30 > 7:49:33The next jump has to be right.
7:49:33 > 7:49:35Or this challenge could be over.
7:49:35 > 7:49:37- Check out!- Wing tip.
7:49:47 > 7:49:51This time, I move through the drills when I should.
7:49:51 > 7:49:54And when Tony's happy, he lets go.
7:50:02 > 7:50:04For the first time,
7:50:04 > 7:50:07I'm falling completely on my own
7:50:07 > 7:50:12at around 120mph.
7:50:12 > 7:50:14And it feels incredible.
7:50:14 > 7:50:16How did you feel on your own?
7:50:16 > 7:50:19Good, I didn't feel out of control.
7:50:19 > 7:50:21I was trying to control it.
7:50:21 > 7:50:24I think my feet went back when you let go of me.
7:50:24 > 7:50:25You have passed that with flying colours.
7:50:25 > 7:50:27- Yes! Oh, get in! - Good man, well done.
7:50:29 > 7:50:34That feeling of going through the air is just incredible.
7:50:34 > 7:50:36I am pumped!
7:50:36 > 7:50:40Get in, skydiving, this challenge is on!
7:50:42 > 7:50:46Next week, my race against time continues.
7:50:49 > 7:50:50Can I pass my training?
7:50:52 > 7:50:55Can I complete this challenge for Children In Need?
7:50:57 > 7:51:00Can I freefall with the RAF Falcons?
7:51:04 > 7:51:07Freefall is the biggest and the best and the scariest
7:51:07 > 7:51:10Blue Peter challenge I have ever been a part of.
7:51:10 > 7:51:12Please make sure you watch part three next week
7:51:12 > 7:51:16because I guarantee this, they just get better and better and better.
7:51:16 > 7:51:19That was all because of the Falcons. They have my ultimate respect,
7:51:19 > 7:51:22but it's all for Children In Need, which is where you come in.
7:51:22 > 7:51:25Because if we look down here, we've got Fay from Devon
7:51:25 > 7:51:26who's sent in her parachute.
7:51:26 > 7:51:29She's going to be making a Pudsey out of 1ps and 2ps.
7:51:29 > 7:51:32And just below her, all the way down in Cornwall,
7:51:32 > 7:51:35is Millie who's having a cake sale at some point.
7:51:35 > 7:51:37Good luck to the pair of you.
7:51:37 > 7:51:40That's exactly what we'd like you at home to do -
7:51:40 > 7:51:41send in a parachute yourself.
7:51:41 > 7:51:45Every spot you can see on the map corresponds to a parachute.
7:51:45 > 7:51:47On the Children In Need spectacular,
7:51:47 > 7:51:50we're going to turn your parachutes into an enormous parachute.
7:51:50 > 7:51:53So how do you get involved? Very simple.
7:51:53 > 7:51:56Let me show you the template you download and print out.
7:51:56 > 7:51:58This is the parachute that you cut out and decorate.
7:51:58 > 7:52:01You can make it simple, complicated, show off your artwork, whatever.
7:52:01 > 7:52:03And that's the pledge slip
7:52:03 > 7:52:05where you tell us what you're doing for Children In Need.
7:52:05 > 7:52:07Send it in to us at the usual address.
7:52:07 > 7:52:09The closing date is 15th November.
7:52:09 > 7:52:12The following day will be the spectacular show -
7:52:12 > 7:52:14I cannot wait, it's going to be incredible,
7:52:14 > 7:52:17and you'll also see the final part of my Children In Need challenge.
7:52:17 > 7:52:19- Lindsey, can you come in, please? - Course I can.
7:52:19 > 7:52:21Because UnicornGirl3009

7:52:23 > 7:52:25- live on Blue Peter.- Really? OK,
7:52:25 > 7:52:27I'm going to scoot over to our next guest.

7:52:29 > 7:52:32Please welcome Sophia Grace!
7:52:33 > 7:52:37Oh, health and safety, there we go. Sophia, welcome back to the show.
7:52:37 > 7:52:40- Thank you.- Great to have you. You've been busy, haven't you?- I have.
7:52:40 > 7:52:42A new single, talk to me about it.
7:52:42 > 7:52:45A new single, it's called Why U Mad. It just came out.
7:52:45 > 7:52:47Also the new music video too.
7:52:47 > 7:52:50And it's about standing up against bullying and haters
7:52:50 > 7:52:53and not letting it get to you that much,
7:52:53 > 7:52:55- just trying to not let them win. - I like it, it's a great message.
7:52:55 > 7:52:58If I hadn't done 15 happy dances, I'd do another one.
7:52:58 > 7:53:02Lilac... No, I'm not doing another one. We'll do it in a minute.
7:53:02 > 7:53:04We haven't got time!

7:53:14 > 7:53:16- right here on Blue Peter. - Cannot wait for that.
7:53:16 > 7:53:19Also, someone else came in with a request.
7:53:19 > 7:53:22That was PrincessSparkle, who said, "Can Sophia Grace please do
7:53:22 > 7:53:24"the hold a note challenge
7:53:24 > 7:53:27"against the most talented member of the BP crew.
7:53:27 > 7:53:31"And you have to hold a note and keep jelly balanced on one arm."
