0:00:53 > 0:00:55Let's talk about the post, because, check this out,

0:00:55 > 0:00:57you sent in so much post to us,

0:00:57 > 0:01:00that we could have filled

0:01:00 > 0:01:031,646 Big Badge walls.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05That deserves an applause.

0:01:05 > 0:01:06Come on, everyone, that's amazing.

0:01:06 > 0:01:09As well as that, we've had makes and bakes galore.

0:01:09 > 0:01:11Do you remember the Shelley costume?

0:01:11 > 0:01:13That was absolutely incredible.

0:01:13 > 0:01:15We've had pancakes with The Sorted Food Team

0:01:15 > 0:01:18and even the Minion cupcakes, who can forget?

0:01:18 > 0:01:20Who can forget my favourite bake of all?

0:01:20 > 0:01:21I know what you're going to say.

0:01:21 > 0:01:23The emoji poo, people.

0:01:23 > 0:01:26It was a little bit smelly but it was very tasty.

0:01:26 > 0:01:29And of course it wouldn't be BP without some amazing challenges.

0:01:29 > 0:01:32Do you remember the mission friction zip wire challenge?

0:01:32 > 0:01:35- Yes!- Who knew that two books interwoven like that,

0:01:35 > 0:01:36could take so much weight?

0:01:36 > 0:01:37It was good but scary.

0:01:37 > 0:01:43Who also knew a man that was also 7ft tall could serve that fast?

0:01:43 > 0:01:44His name is John Isner,

0:01:44 > 0:01:46one of the fastest servers of all time

0:01:46 > 0:01:49and I attempted to return one of the serves, it was very scary.

0:01:49 > 0:01:52- And he made you look tiny as well. - He made me look very small.

0:01:52 > 0:01:54Something that made me feel tiny was those sharks.

0:01:54 > 0:01:56My shark challenge, one of the scariest things,

0:01:56 > 0:01:58probably the scariest thing,

0:01:58 > 0:02:00I've ever done on Blue Peter but we got through it.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03One of the muckiest challenges we've ever taken part in was when me and

0:02:03 > 0:02:08Linds trained with the Royal Marine commandos, run VT!

0:02:08 > 0:02:10We're experiencing what it's like to train

0:02:10 > 0:02:12to be Royal Marines commandos.

0:02:12 > 0:02:14Over the next 24 hours, you're going to live, eat,

0:02:14 > 0:02:16and breathe like a Royal Marine recruit.

0:02:16 > 0:02:19We're taking on the iconic Mud Run.

0:02:19 > 0:02:23Set in the muddy estuary next to the marines' training base,

0:02:23 > 0:02:28the Mud Run has become legendary as being one of the toughest parts of a

0:02:28 > 0:02:33commando's training and we're going to experience what it feels like.

0:02:33 > 0:02:37Over the years it's been a classic Blue Peter challenge and for me

0:02:37 > 0:02:41personally, it's been something I've always wanted to try,

0:02:41 > 0:02:44having seen Simon and Matt do it when I was growing up.

0:02:44 > 0:02:50We're tired, we're wet but it's time to meet the mud.

0:02:50 > 0:02:54Can I just say, it stinks and it's cold.

0:02:54 > 0:02:57We're already wet, so this can only go one way.

0:02:57 > 0:03:01- Let's go!- Argh!

0:03:01 > 0:03:04Trust me, nothing prepares you for the mud!

0:03:07 > 0:03:11Just call crawling through it is so difficult.

0:03:11 > 0:03:12I've never done anything like this.

0:03:12 > 0:03:14But crawling is just the beginning,

0:03:14 > 0:03:17instructor Ben wants us up and running again.

0:03:17 > 0:03:20- On your feet!- Then, back down to crawling.

0:03:20 > 0:03:21Get down!

0:03:21 > 0:03:27That expression of running through treacle has never been so true.

0:03:27 > 0:03:28This is...

0:03:28 > 0:03:29..look at that.

0:03:31 > 0:03:32Roll over! Roll over!

0:03:32 > 0:03:33As if that wasn't enough...

0:03:33 > 0:03:34How do I look?

0:03:34 > 0:03:36..we're told to turn over.

0:03:36 > 0:03:38On your backs! Start crawling.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41Push off with your legs, come on!

0:03:41 > 0:03:43Toughest thing I've ever done.

0:03:43 > 0:03:47Ben is not letting us get away with anything.

0:03:47 > 0:03:48Away we go. Come on.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50Let's go, guys. Let's move.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52- Urgh!- It's getting more and more

0:03:52 > 0:03:54difficult to keep going and we've only

0:03:54 > 0:03:56been doing this for a matter of minutes.

0:03:56 > 0:03:59Away we go. On your feet.

0:03:59 > 0:04:00Start moving! Come on.

0:04:00 > 0:04:02Come on, you two, let's go. Away we go!

0:04:03 > 0:04:06On your feet! In we go!

0:04:06 > 0:04:08Thankfully, we're called in.

0:04:08 > 0:04:12That was incredibly tough.

0:04:12 > 0:04:17That is hands down, one of the craziest experiences of my life.

0:04:17 > 0:04:18I can't even speak!

0:04:22 > 0:04:23Radz, this is gross but I actually

0:04:23 > 0:04:26had mud in my ears for weeks after that.

0:04:26 > 0:04:29- It was grim.- I had it in there for months!

0:04:29 > 0:04:30The lengths we go to for the BP badge

0:04:30 > 0:04:32and of course one of the most sought

0:04:32 > 0:04:34after BP badges is this, the orange badge,

0:04:34 > 0:04:38which we award to Blue Peter competition winners and runners up.

0:04:38 > 0:04:40My favourite competition ever on

0:04:40 > 0:04:42Blue Peter was launched by none other,

0:04:45 > 0:04:48and para athletics legend, Richard Whitehead.

0:04:48 > 0:04:52They came into the studio to launch our London 2017 mascot competition,

0:04:52 > 0:04:54which was won by Eleanor.

0:05:05 > 0:05:06Didn't they look awesome?

0:05:06 > 0:05:08And that right there, is what I call a competition.

0:05:08 > 0:05:10They went global as well.

0:05:10 > 0:05:11That was incredible.

0:05:11 > 0:05:13Something you guys absolutely love

0:05:13 > 0:05:15is a design competition and you did not

0:05:15 > 0:05:19disappoint with our Design A Dragon competition last year.

0:05:19 > 0:05:21It was amazing. And of course the winner was Florence.

0:05:21 > 0:05:23Cannot wait to see her dragon

0:05:39 > 0:05:41which the awesome team at Aardman Animations

0:05:41 > 0:05:44would actually turn into a genuine moving picture.

0:06:39 > 0:06:42Did you ever think for a second when you entered the competition,

0:06:42 > 0:06:44that you'd be flying in a helicopter with me,

0:06:44 > 0:06:46being filmed by the Blue Peter film team,
