0:00:13 > 0:00:15- OK, are you ready to skydive?- Yes.

0:00:19 > 0:00:24- Check in.- OK.- Check out. Wingtip.

0:00:31 > 0:00:35Of all the incredible challenges Blue Peter has ever taken on,

0:00:35 > 0:00:39there's one I've always dreamt of...

0:00:40 > 0:00:41Wow!

0:00:41 > 0:00:46..a challenge that was first attempted more than 50 years ago.

0:00:46 > 0:00:51This is John Noakes, the first Blue Peter presenter to ever do it.

0:00:51 > 0:00:53Green for go.

0:00:53 > 0:00:55Suddenly all my training makes sense.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58I found I was enjoying flashing through the air

0:00:58 > 0:01:00at 120 miles an hour.

0:01:00 > 0:01:03I'm sure Janet broke her pelvis when she was training.

0:01:03 > 0:01:05I'd become the first woman in Britain

0:01:05 > 0:01:09to free fall over 16,000 feet.

0:01:09 > 0:01:13Simon is one of the reasons I wanted to become a Blue Peter presenter.

0:01:13 > 0:01:18- I don't want to do this.- I remember exactly how I felt watching this.

0:01:20 > 0:01:22I'm taking on skydiving

0:01:22 > 0:01:27and I'm doing it with a group who are quite simply legendary.

0:01:29 > 0:01:35The RAF Falcons are one of the most iconic parachute display teams

0:01:35 > 0:01:37in the entire world.

0:01:37 > 0:01:42For years, they've wowed crowds with their skill and bravery

0:01:42 > 0:01:46and, in that time, they've taught generations

0:01:46 > 0:01:51of Blue Peter presenters, creating a unique history.

0:01:52 > 0:01:56Now I'm attempting to write the next chapter in that story

0:01:56 > 0:02:00and perform a skydive routine with the Falcons.

0:02:00 > 0:02:04I'm actually going to do that. It's really brought it home.

0:02:06 > 0:02:08Join me as I free fall.

0:02:15 > 0:02:17My training begins at their base,

0:02:17 > 0:02:19RAF Brize Norton.

0:02:19 > 0:02:23To train to become a Falcon takes years.

0:02:23 > 0:02:26Together, they've performed thousands of jumps.

0:02:26 > 0:02:28I've got just weeks.

0:02:28 > 0:02:32Under the guidance of Corporal Alex Williams and Sergeant Mark O'Brien,

0:02:32 > 0:02:36I need to complete two days of intensive ground training.

0:02:37 > 0:02:41OK then, Radzi. Obviously, first element of your ground training,

0:02:41 > 0:02:43we're actually going to introduce you to the parachute

0:02:43 > 0:02:45- you're going to be jumping. - Amazing.- All right.

0:02:45 > 0:02:49First, I need to understand how my parachute works.

0:02:49 > 0:02:51- That is going to save your life. - That is a good thing.

0:02:51 > 0:02:55VOICEOVER: Next, I learn how to jump from a plane...

0:02:55 > 0:02:57- Check in.- OK.- Check out.

0:02:58 > 0:03:02..and what to do if something goes wrong.

0:03:02 > 0:03:05Cut away, pull reserve.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08There's so much to take in.

0:03:08 > 0:03:13My brain is currently somewhere between fried and scrambled.

0:03:13 > 0:03:15But it doesn't stop.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17I'm taught how to control my body

0:03:17 > 0:03:20when I'm free falling before I pull my parachute...

0:03:20 > 0:03:23Get your chin up for me, so you're looking onto the horizon.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26..then practise just that in a wind tunnel.

0:03:27 > 0:03:33I'm trying to make everything sink in and I think, I hope it all is.

0:03:34 > 0:03:39I've concentrated so hard and I think I'm making progress

0:03:39 > 0:03:43but I have no actual idea of what it's going to be like to skydive.

0:03:44 > 0:03:48And, if I'm honest, I don't actually know if I've got what it takes.

0:03:51 > 0:03:52To find out,

0:03:52 > 0:03:57I'm travelling to the Falcons' winter base in California, USA,

0:03:57 > 0:04:01to complete an intensive skydive training course.

0:04:04 > 0:04:07The weather normally makes this the perfect place

0:04:07 > 0:04:11for the Falcons to put in thousands of practice jumps,

0:04:11 > 0:04:15so I can't wait to get up there and join them. But then...

0:04:17 > 0:04:21- This is a powerful storm.- Hundreds of homes have been evacuated.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24- This is crazy. - This storm is massive.

0:04:24 > 0:04:25I've never seen anything like it.

0:04:29 > 0:04:31California is hit by freak storms,

0:04:31 > 0:04:37leaving behind a thick layer of cloud, which could stop me jumping.

0:04:37 > 0:04:40The Falcons are busy in preseason training,

0:04:40 > 0:04:42so I'll be taught by an ex-Falcon,

0:04:42 > 0:04:45Sergeant Tony Brookes.

0:04:45 > 0:04:47I'm hoping you're going to have good news for me today.

0:04:47 > 0:04:49The news doesn't look so good today.

0:04:49 > 0:04:52The cloud's low, there's a little bit of rain in the air.

0:04:52 > 0:04:54It's probably quite dangerous for you to jump today,

0:04:54 > 0:04:56- so we're not going to be jumping. - Definitely no?- Definitely no.

0:04:56 > 0:04:59- So, for today, what's the plan? - Do your ground training.

0:04:59 > 0:05:02You've already done some of that in the UK. We'll refresh that,

0:05:02 > 0:05:04go through everything to make sure you're happy

0:05:04 > 0:05:06with what you're going to do, so you're ready for jumping.

0:05:06 > 0:05:08- Shall we crack on?- Let's go.

0:05:11 > 0:05:14VOICEOVER: I've been imagining myself jumping out of a plane

0:05:14 > 0:05:17every day for three weeks

0:05:17 > 0:05:19and, as I watch the Falcons do just that,

0:05:19 > 0:05:22the wait is agonising.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24Because of their qualifications,

0:05:24 > 0:05:26the fact that they are the RAF Falcons,

0:05:26 > 0:05:27they can jump in these conditions.

0:05:27 > 0:05:29But I can't, so I just have to watch.

0:05:29 > 0:05:32But I want to be out there, I want to be jumping. It's so frustrating!

0:05:35 > 0:05:39All I can do is focus on my ground training,

0:05:39 > 0:05:42but this could become a serious problem.

0:05:44 > 0:05:46Before I can skydive with the Falcons,

0:05:46 > 0:05:50I need to pass a military training course of ten successful jumps.

0:05:50 > 0:05:55However, I can only do four a day and, in less than a week,

0:05:55 > 0:05:57the Falcons leave California.

0:05:58 > 0:06:00I need to get up in that plane.

0:06:04 > 0:06:08Unfortunately, things aren't much better on day two.

0:06:08 > 0:06:12We wait...but it's not good,

0:06:12 > 0:06:17and I start to seriously worry about running out of time.

0:06:22 > 0:06:25From the moment I found out about this challenge,

0:06:25 > 0:06:28I've been so worried that I wouldn't be able to do it,

0:06:28 > 0:06:32that fear would overcome me and I wouldn't have what it takes.

0:06:32 > 0:06:37And yet, I'm sat in this plane, the very thing I want to be sat in,

0:06:37 > 0:06:39jumping out of it, and instead, I'm sat here telling you

0:06:39 > 0:06:42that I don't even know if the challenge is on.

0:06:42 > 0:06:44The idea that we're not going to have enough time

0:06:44 > 0:06:46for me to get the jumps in

0:06:46 > 0:06:50to be able to actually perform with the RAF Falcons...

0:06:52 > 0:06:54I can't even talk about it.

0:07:05 > 0:07:07Good morning!

0:07:07 > 0:07:09And it's a good one for a very good reason

0:07:09 > 0:07:12and that is because the weather is improving.

0:07:12 > 0:07:14We still don't know if it's going to happen today,

0:07:14 > 0:07:16so I'm going to see my coach, Tony,

0:07:16 > 0:07:18and, hopefully, he's got good news for me.

0:07:18 > 0:07:20Fingers crossed.

0:07:23 > 0:07:26VOICEOVER: The news is even better than I hoped.

0:07:26 > 0:07:31Straight away, Tony gets me into my parachute. We are go.

0:07:31 > 0:07:34I'm trying so hard to pretend I'm not scared. I am...

0:07:34 > 0:07:36Yeah, my heart is pounding.

0:07:37 > 0:07:42After two long days of waiting, this is about to happen.

0:07:45 > 0:07:47I'm jumping out of a plane today.

0:07:50 > 0:07:52But then, as the plane's climbing,

0:07:52 > 0:07:55there's a last-minute call from the ground.

0:07:55 > 0:07:56Tony, DZ.

0:07:59 > 0:08:01No jump?

0:08:03 > 0:08:05- We're not jumping?- It's too cloudy.

0:08:10 > 0:08:12We're not jumping.

0:08:20 > 0:08:24At the last moment, the clouds become too thick

0:08:24 > 0:08:27and we have to return to the ground.

0:08:35 > 0:08:37To say I'm devastated doesn't cover it.

0:08:39 > 0:08:42I just don't know if this challenge is ever going to happen.

0:08:42 > 0:08:44That's the problem. Gutted.

0:08:46 > 0:08:51My dream of skydiving with the Falcons has never felt further away.

0:08:53 > 0:08:56Then something changes.

0:08:58 > 0:09:02Unbelievably, we've been given the call that it's a go.

0:09:03 > 0:09:06There's been a break in the clouds, so we're now just going.

0:09:15 > 0:09:20Now it's time to do this thing that means the world to me.

0:09:20 > 0:09:21Let's jump out of a plane.

0:09:34 > 0:09:36I've never had the shakes before.

0:09:36 > 0:09:38Look at that. Look at that!

0:09:38 > 0:09:40Look at that!

0:09:42 > 0:09:46We've just had confirmation it's a go. Get in!

0:09:46 > 0:09:51It's got very serious all of a sudden. This is the real deal.

0:09:52 > 0:09:56- OK, are you ready to skydive? - Yes.- OK, in the door.

0:10:01 > 0:10:04- Check in.- OK.- Check out.- OK.

0:10:04 > 0:10:07Wingtip. Out.

0:10:32 > 0:10:34Wow!

0:10:34 > 0:10:37Wow, wow, wow!

0:10:37 > 0:10:43VOICEOVER: Of all the unbelievable things I've done with Blue Peter,

0:10:43 > 0:10:47nothing has beaten this.

0:10:47 > 0:10:49That's very good, Radzi, well done.

0:10:52 > 0:10:55Wow! Wow!

0:10:55 > 0:10:58That was the single

0:10:58 > 0:11:02most overwhelming experience

0:11:02 > 0:11:04of my life!

0:11:04 > 0:11:09This has been a day I will never forget

0:11:09 > 0:11:13and my challenge is finally underway.

0:11:17 > 0:11:20Now the jumps have to come thick and fast.

0:11:20 > 0:11:23The weather has messed up our schedule,

0:11:23 > 0:11:26meaning I've only got three days to complete my training.

0:11:26 > 0:11:30I can't afford any more setbacks.

0:11:33 > 0:11:38In my last jump, Tony held on to me until I pulled my parachute.

0:11:38 > 0:11:40- Are you happy, Radz?- Absolutely.

0:11:42 > 0:11:46Now, if I can perform the correct drills in time,

0:11:46 > 0:11:50he'll let go and let me free fall on my own.

0:11:54 > 0:11:59The thought of me being on my own is overwhelming.

0:11:59 > 0:12:02I'm not doing the drills I've practised quickly enough.

0:12:02 > 0:12:05There just doesn't seem to be enough time.

0:12:05 > 0:12:08Tony doesn't let go of me.

0:12:13 > 0:12:16So, that should be done by about 10,500 feet.

0:12:16 > 0:12:18- Oh, wow, OK.- Not 8,000. - Right, fine.

0:12:18 > 0:12:22- So we'll have to repeat that one again.- OK. Right, first one failed.

0:12:22 > 0:12:23I've got to get back up soon.

0:12:23 > 0:12:28Anything I don't get right I need to repeat until I do.

0:12:29 > 0:12:34The next jump has to be right or this challenge could be over.

0:12:34 > 0:12:36Check out. Wingtip.

0:12:45 > 0:12:49This time I move through the drills when I should

0:12:49 > 0:12:53and when Tony's happy, he lets go.

0:13:01 > 0:13:03For the first time,

0:13:03 > 0:13:10I'm falling completely on my own at around 120 miles an hour.

0:13:14 > 0:13:16- How did you feel on your own? - Good, I felt good.

0:13:16 > 0:13:19I didn't feel out of control. I was trying to control it.

0:13:19 > 0:13:22I think my feet went back when you let go of me.

0:13:22 > 0:13:25- You have passed that with flying colours.- Yes! Oh, get in!

0:13:25 > 0:13:27- Good man, well done.- Yes!

0:13:27 > 0:13:33That feeling of going through the air is just incredible.

0:13:33 > 0:13:35I am pumped!

0:13:35 > 0:13:39Get in, skydiving! This challenge is on.

0:13:39 > 0:13:43Level passed. Now I've got some catching up to do.

0:13:43 > 0:13:47- # All the leaves are brown - All the leaves are brown

0:13:47 > 0:13:49# And the sky is grey

0:13:49 > 0:13:52# And the sky is grey

0:13:52 > 0:13:56- # I've been for a walk - I've been for a walk

0:13:56 > 0:13:58# On a winter's day

0:13:58 > 0:14:01# On a winter's day

0:14:01 > 0:14:04- # California dreaming - California dreaming

0:14:04 > 0:14:10# On such a winter's day... #

0:14:12 > 0:14:17I complete more jumps and manage to pass more levels of my course.

0:14:17 > 0:14:21If I want to jump with the Falcons, I need to pass them all.

0:14:22 > 0:14:25But every time I jump, I have to learn something new

0:14:25 > 0:14:28and I'm getting tired.

0:14:28 > 0:14:32Up until now, when I've left the plane, Tony has been with me.

0:14:32 > 0:14:36This time I need to prove to him I can do it alone

0:14:36 > 0:14:41and then perform a 360-degree turn.

0:14:41 > 0:14:45- # On such a winter's day - California dreaming

0:14:45 > 0:14:51# On such a winter's day. #

0:14:54 > 0:14:58I'm not going to lie to you. I'm actually really scared about this

0:14:58 > 0:15:02cos this is the first time I'm jumping out of the plane on my own.

0:15:07 > 0:15:10- Check in.- OK.- Wingtip.

0:15:15 > 0:15:17VOICEOVER: Straightaway, something feels wrong.

0:15:20 > 0:15:26I'm falling far too quickly and trying so hard not to panic.

0:15:30 > 0:15:33Tony uses all of his experience to catch up with me

0:15:33 > 0:15:36and, when he does, I complete my 360 turns.

0:15:39 > 0:15:41Then, I make another mistake.

0:15:45 > 0:15:48My legs get trapped beneath him, which sends us out of control.

0:15:50 > 0:15:54I'm running out of time. I need to pull my parachute fast.

0:15:58 > 0:15:59No!

0:15:59 > 0:16:03That was terrifying.

0:16:03 > 0:16:07To make matters worse, if Tony feels I didn't complete everything,

0:16:07 > 0:16:09he could fail it

0:16:09 > 0:16:11and my dream will be over.

0:16:13 > 0:16:15I know I did something wrong.

0:16:17 > 0:16:22He takes me to a special analysis room to go through what I did.

0:16:23 > 0:16:27As I left the plane, my body position was all wrong,

0:16:27 > 0:16:29causing me to fall too quickly.

0:16:29 > 0:16:31Your body needs to be turned that way,

0:16:31 > 0:16:34so we should see the back of you and the parachute.

0:16:34 > 0:16:37Remember the air is coming this way, so that's what takes you

0:16:37 > 0:16:39and then turns you 180.

0:16:39 > 0:16:42So, you've come out a little bit flat.

0:16:42 > 0:16:45You're going straight down, you'll go fast.

0:16:45 > 0:16:49Tony explains how the spin happened.

0:16:49 > 0:16:51OK, at this point now, that position's good.

0:16:51 > 0:16:54You just turned underneath me. That's what you've done there.

0:16:54 > 0:16:56That's caused me to spin.

0:16:56 > 0:17:02I could have thrown away all my hard work with two simple errors.

0:17:02 > 0:17:04It's your first one.

0:17:04 > 0:17:06Not many people can go out and hit their first exit

0:17:06 > 0:17:09and stay stable and come straight down, but all achieved.

0:17:09 > 0:17:11Tick, well done.

0:17:11 > 0:17:15Amazingly, I pass. Despite the mistakes,

0:17:15 > 0:17:19I actually completed the moves I needed to.

0:17:19 > 0:17:21Good, that's perfect. That's really, really good.

0:17:21 > 0:17:25It's really knocked me for six just how mentally exhausting it is

0:17:25 > 0:17:28but, yeah, it's rest time now.

0:17:37 > 0:17:41We're just heading back to the airfield and, by the end of today,

0:17:41 > 0:17:45I'm going to find out if I've passed or failed my course.

0:17:48 > 0:17:52Now I need to demonstrate all the skills I've learnt.

0:17:52 > 0:17:55If I don't have total control over myself,

0:17:55 > 0:17:59I could risk mine and the Falcons' safety.

0:17:59 > 0:18:02Tony needs to know that's not going to happen.

0:18:04 > 0:18:07I can't say how important this next jump is.

0:18:07 > 0:18:12It's my final training jump and if I fail, my challenge is over.

0:18:13 > 0:18:16My most complex jump starts with a backflip.

0:18:16 > 0:18:21Then I need to do two 360-degree turns,

0:18:21 > 0:18:24finally moving forwards and backwards through the air.

0:18:24 > 0:18:27To do all this before pulling my parachute,

0:18:27 > 0:18:30I don't have time to make any more mistakes.

0:18:33 > 0:18:37Everything rests on the next few moments.

0:18:39 > 0:18:44Check in. Check out. Wingtip. Out, in.

0:18:45 > 0:18:50Straightaway, I lose control. I have to stay calm.

0:18:51 > 0:18:54Gradually I manage to steady myself.

0:19:03 > 0:19:05I start with a backflip.

0:19:07 > 0:19:10One 360 turn followed by another.

0:19:12 > 0:19:16I show that I can drift through the air backwards and forwards...

0:19:18 > 0:19:20..and finally release my parachute.

0:19:22 > 0:19:25I am so happy with that.

0:19:25 > 0:19:27Yeah!

0:19:27 > 0:19:30We landed it on our feet!

0:19:30 > 0:19:34Do you know what, I don't know if I've passed or failed,

0:19:34 > 0:19:39but it doesn't get much better than that. It doesn't.

0:19:42 > 0:19:44From the very first moment,

0:19:44 > 0:19:47I've given my training everything.

0:19:47 > 0:19:53I've learned so much. I just don't want it to end here.

0:19:53 > 0:19:56- Hey, Radzi.- Hey.- How did it go?

0:19:56 > 0:20:00- I thought it went well. I made some mistakes.- OK.

0:20:00 > 0:20:04Um, but your voice doesn't suggest good news.

0:20:04 > 0:20:05You've had a tough few days.

0:20:05 > 0:20:08Weather's not been the greatest - you've had cloud,

0:20:08 > 0:20:10a bit of rain, had to hold,

0:20:10 > 0:20:13and you've landed back with the aircraft cos of the cloud.

0:20:13 > 0:20:14It's been tough.

0:20:15 > 0:20:18But I'm very pleased to say you have passed.

0:20:18 > 0:20:20- Well done.- Have I really?

0:20:20 > 0:20:24Really good. Yeah, really, really good. It's time to join the Falcons.

0:20:24 > 0:20:26- I'm actually going to be jumping with the Falcons?- Yes.

0:20:26 > 0:20:29- Oh, man!- Well done.

0:20:29 > 0:20:33Getting to jump with the RAF Falcons is a dream come true

0:20:33 > 0:20:36and that's because it's the stuff of legends.

0:20:36 > 0:20:39Blue Peter presenters have been jumping with them

0:20:39 > 0:20:41for more than 50 years,

0:20:41 > 0:20:45creating some incredible moments.

0:20:45 > 0:20:48And we're out in space! It's unbelievable!

0:20:48 > 0:20:4925,000 feet.

0:20:49 > 0:20:51All that work was worth it

0:20:51 > 0:20:55for a minute and a half of unforgettable free fall.

0:20:55 > 0:20:57If I want to do the same,

0:20:57 > 0:21:03I need to perform two of their most iconic routines over two jumps.

0:21:03 > 0:21:05The first is a free fall formation

0:21:05 > 0:21:10creating a pattern in the air before opening our parachutes.

0:21:10 > 0:21:14I'll be in the middle and will have to maintain total control

0:21:14 > 0:21:18so the Falcons can form around me in just 40 seconds.

0:21:20 > 0:21:25Jump two is something no Blue Peter presenter has ever done before,

0:21:25 > 0:21:28the iconic Falcons stack.

0:21:28 > 0:21:29I'll be at the bottom,

0:21:29 > 0:21:33as each member of the team forms a giant column under parachute.

0:21:33 > 0:21:38I'll have to turn at the right time so the team can stay in sync.

0:21:38 > 0:21:42One wrong move and you can risk tangling parachutes

0:21:42 > 0:21:45and that can lead to serious problems.

0:21:45 > 0:21:49So we practise again and again.

0:21:49 > 0:21:51Ready, set, go.

0:21:51 > 0:21:54Turning right, 180. Turning right now.

0:21:54 > 0:21:58Smoke on, smoke on now. Alternate split stack now.

0:21:58 > 0:22:01After all this, I'll be trying to touch down

0:22:01 > 0:22:03on a Blue Peter target on the ground.

0:22:03 > 0:22:06This is the most complex challenge

0:22:06 > 0:22:09the Falcons have ever attempted with Blue Peter.

0:22:09 > 0:22:12We are trying to make history.

0:22:12 > 0:22:15Just one mistake from me ruins this entire challenge.

0:22:15 > 0:22:18There's a lot of responsibility on my shoulders

0:22:18 > 0:22:20and I just want to do it well.

0:22:20 > 0:22:24When I saw Simon Thomas take on this challenge,

0:22:24 > 0:22:27it inspired me to become a Blue Peter presenter.

0:22:27 > 0:22:29- Are you ready to skydive, Simon? - Ready to skydive.

0:22:29 > 0:22:30In the door after me.

0:22:30 > 0:22:35Fast forward a lot of years, I'm now sat here as one,

0:22:35 > 0:22:38doing the very challenge that inspired me

0:22:38 > 0:22:42so, hopefully, this might inspire one of you to do exactly the same.

0:22:44 > 0:22:47First up, the free fall formation.

0:22:50 > 0:22:55- OK, mate.- Check in.- OK.- Check out. - Let's go.- Wingtip. Out, in.

0:22:58 > 0:23:01I leave the plane with two other Falcons.

0:23:01 > 0:23:03This time I just can't afford to move side to side

0:23:03 > 0:23:08because we make the line that the rest of the team can form around.

0:23:08 > 0:23:13We get into position then the other Falcons start to arrive.

0:23:18 > 0:23:21It's so hard to maintain control.

0:23:21 > 0:23:25One slip from me and the whole thing could fall apart.

0:23:29 > 0:23:32Time is running out before we have to pull our parachutes.

0:23:32 > 0:23:35I just don't want to let the rest of the team down.

0:23:38 > 0:23:39And then...

0:23:45 > 0:23:49..at exactly the same time, they're gone.

0:23:49 > 0:23:52They make that look so easy.

0:23:59 > 0:24:02That was one of the most incredible things I've ever done.

0:24:02 > 0:24:04The Falcons were on there in seconds.

0:24:04 > 0:24:06They were quick, weren't they?

0:24:06 > 0:24:08I just tried to remember what you've taught me.

0:24:08 > 0:24:12- Stay relaxed, keep symmetrical. - It did look good.

0:24:12 > 0:24:14You were enjoying it cos you were smiling,

0:24:14 > 0:24:17tongue was sticking out. That was good. Well done.

0:24:17 > 0:24:20- Now time for part two. - You achieved it. Well done.- Yes!

0:24:20 > 0:24:22VOICEOVER: As I get ready for the second jump,

0:24:22 > 0:24:25it dawns on me this could be the last time

0:24:25 > 0:24:28I ever jump out of a plane.

0:24:28 > 0:24:31So, here we go. My last ever jump

0:24:31 > 0:24:33and it's with the Falcons.

0:24:33 > 0:24:35Come on!

0:24:36 > 0:24:38Is there a better way to finish?

0:24:38 > 0:24:41I'm going to be a part of the Falcons stack

0:24:41 > 0:24:46and try to land on the Blue Peter target.

0:24:47 > 0:24:51The skill here is controlling my flight under the parachute.

0:24:51 > 0:24:56First, I need to move smoothly and slowly, so they can stack above me.

0:24:56 > 0:25:00If I can do it, I write Blue Peter history.

0:25:01 > 0:25:03That's all copy. The drop zone is clear.

0:25:03 > 0:25:05Start the challenge when you're ready.

0:25:05 > 0:25:07Wingtip. Out, in.

0:25:09 > 0:25:11VOICEOVER: No, Radzi! I've lost control again.

0:25:11 > 0:25:13I need to steady myself.

0:25:13 > 0:25:16The Falcons can't jump until I level out.

0:25:18 > 0:25:21The team now have to catch me and get into formation.

0:25:24 > 0:25:25Whoa!

0:25:27 > 0:25:29We are open.

0:25:30 > 0:25:32VOICEOVER: I need to get into a turning pattern,

0:25:32 > 0:25:34so the rest of the stack can follow.

0:25:36 > 0:25:39Above me, they start to form.

0:25:43 > 0:25:45Whoa!

0:25:45 > 0:25:49The combination of concentration and adrenaline

0:25:49 > 0:25:53is absolutely unbelievable.

0:25:53 > 0:25:56As I check my canopy, I see them.

0:25:56 > 0:25:59Oh, my goodness, they're directly above me!

0:26:03 > 0:26:09I'm the first civilian to ever join an RAF Falcons stack.

0:26:09 > 0:26:11To be gliding through the air as a team

0:26:11 > 0:26:14is a once in a lifetime experience.

0:26:15 > 0:26:17Now to hit that target.

0:26:19 > 0:26:21I want to get this right so badly.

0:26:25 > 0:26:27This is almost the toughest part of my challenge.

0:26:27 > 0:26:31If I'm going to be anywhere near, I need to be so precise.

0:26:38 > 0:26:40This is going to be close.

0:26:40 > 0:26:42So close!

0:26:42 > 0:26:46Yeah!

0:26:47 > 0:26:49To get to do what I've just done

0:26:49 > 0:26:52with the absolute best in the world...

0:26:53 > 0:26:56What can beat that?

0:26:56 > 0:27:00This is the best day ever, the best day of my life.

0:27:11 > 0:27:14These have been the moments I've dreamt of since I was young.

0:27:14 > 0:27:19At times, I never thought it would happen, but I kept that dream alive.

0:27:19 > 0:27:23Now, with hard work and some inspirational training,

0:27:23 > 0:27:25it's come true.

0:27:25 > 0:27:29It was Blue Peter that inspired my dream.

0:27:30 > 0:27:32Challenge done.

0:27:32 > 0:27:37I just hope this inspires you.

0:27:37 > 0:27:39Radzi, congratulations on passing the challenges.

0:27:39 > 0:27:41It's an absolute pleasure to welcome you

0:27:41 > 0:27:43- as an honorary member of the RAF Falcons...- Wow!

0:27:43 > 0:27:47..and present you with your very own RAF Falcons T-shirt...

0:27:47 > 0:27:50- No way!- ..and RAF Falcons pin badge as well.- Oh, wow!

0:27:50 > 0:27:54- Well done and congratulations. - Thank you so, so much.

0:27:54 > 0:27:59If I can fly with the Falcons, just think what you could do.
