7:32:36 > 7:32:40It's the second of Team Blue Peter's Sport Relief challenges.

7:32:40 > 7:32:43Last week, I conquered Lake Windermere by swimming.

7:32:43 > 7:32:45But this week, can he conquer the cycle track on these?

7:32:45 > 7:32:48We're going head-to-head to the finish line.

7:32:48 > 7:32:50That's all coming up on today's live Blue Peter.

7:32:50 > 7:32:52- I'm going to win.- No, you're not.

7:33:08 > 7:33:10- Hello!- Hello!- Hi!

7:33:10 > 7:33:12Welcome to Blue Peter!

7:33:12 > 7:33:15We hope that Team Blue Peter have been inspiring you

7:33:15 > 7:33:17to get involved with Sport Relief this year.

7:33:17 > 7:33:20After Radzi's heroics on Lake Windermere last week,

7:33:20 > 7:33:23we've been inspired, as Team Blue Peter, to take on a new challenge,

7:33:23 > 7:33:25which you're going to find out more about in a few minutes.

7:33:25 > 7:33:28Hold on to your horses, if you've got a horse.

7:33:28 > 7:33:30And, with spring just around the corner,

7:33:30 > 7:33:33it also means that also around the corner is the new Hindu fe...

7:33:33 > 7:33:35It's not new, it's a traditional...

7:33:35 > 7:33:37- It's been going for a while! - Yes, it has!

7:33:37 > 7:33:40It's known as the festival of colour. It's a brilliant idea.

7:33:40 > 7:33:42Basically, people throw lots of colour,

7:33:42 > 7:33:45powdered colour and water to celebrate the arrival of spring.

7:33:45 > 7:33:47It's a very colourful picture. I like it.

7:33:47 > 7:33:50I like it, too. That looks so much fun.

7:33:50 > 7:33:53This year, Holi festival is going to happen on Monday 17th March,

7:33:53 > 7:33:56so, to anyone celebrating it, a very happy Holi to you!

7:33:56 > 7:33:58- Happy Holi!- Happy Holi!

7:33:58 > 7:34:01That got us thinking. If you could have your very own festival,

7:34:01 > 7:34:03what would you celebrate and why?

7:34:03 > 7:34:06No surprises here, I'd have a photography festival,

7:34:06 > 7:34:08which means that when you walk in, you get a camera

7:34:08 > 7:34:11and you've got to take pictures of lots of smiley faces.

7:34:11 > 7:34:13- It's a beautiful thing. - That's so nice.

7:34:13 > 7:34:15I'd have a festival called B-Fest,

7:34:15 > 7:34:17and what it is is a Beyonce festival.

7:34:17 > 7:34:21You dress up as her, sing her songs. # All the single ladies! #

7:34:21 > 7:34:23Whoa, whoa, whoa!

7:34:23 > 7:34:25It's not about us, it's about you.

7:34:25 > 7:34:27We want you to get in touch:

7:34:29 > 7:34:32At the end of the show, we'll read out as many as we've got time for.

7:34:32 > 7:34:35That's right. Now it's time to get back to Sport Relief

7:34:35 > 7:34:39and tell you a bit more about the bikes you saw us on at the start.

7:34:39 > 7:34:42Bye! A few weeks ago, Barney, Radzi and I were challenged

7:34:42 > 7:34:46to see if we could design and create our very own pedal-powered vehicles

7:34:46 > 7:34:48which we would then race against each other

7:34:48 > 7:34:51as part of Team Blue Peter's cycle challenge for Sport Relief.

7:34:51 > 7:34:55Now, riding a bike I can just about manage,

7:34:55 > 7:34:58but designing one from scratch is a whole different story.

7:35:02 > 7:35:05This year for Sport Relief, you can run...

7:35:05 > 7:35:07Like me, you can swim...

7:35:07 > 7:35:10Or, like our challenge, cycle.

7:35:10 > 7:35:14But this isn't going to be just any old cycle challenge.

7:35:14 > 7:35:17Oh, yeah, I want one.

7:35:17 > 7:35:20'But the details of our challenge are a little bit sketchy.

7:35:20 > 7:35:23'We've just been told to report to this warehouse in Manchester

7:35:23 > 7:35:26'to find out more.'

7:35:26 > 7:35:29Oh, I do like a gold envelope! Shall I do the honours?

7:35:29 > 7:35:32"For the Sport Relief cycle challenge, you'll race each other.

7:35:32 > 7:35:36"The bad news is, you'll have to design and build your own rides."

7:35:36 > 7:35:39"Your pedal-powered vehicles should be impressive on the road,

7:35:39 > 7:35:41"attract lots of attention, and be fun."

7:35:41 > 7:35:44"Barney, you've spent a long time on two wheels in the last year,

7:35:44 > 7:35:47- "so you should build a two-wheeled vehicle."- Oooh!

7:35:47 > 7:35:50"Radzi, you need to build a three-wheeler."

7:35:50 > 7:35:53"Lindsey, your vehicle should have four wheels.

7:35:53 > 7:35:55"It'll have more stability, but potentially less speed."

7:35:55 > 7:35:57- Yeah, you're going to come dead last.- Fantastic!

7:35:57 > 7:36:00"All three should be recumbent - you pedal them lying down.

7:36:00 > 7:36:02"Get thinking quickly because, in 30 minutes,

7:36:02 > 7:36:06"you've got to pitch your designs to a panel of experts."

7:36:06 > 7:36:08Go, go, go!

7:36:10 > 7:36:14'Our designs had better be good, because, in just two weeks' time,

7:36:14 > 7:36:18'we'll be lining up on the start line of this cycle track in Preston,

7:36:18 > 7:36:21'getting ready to race our creations.'

7:36:22 > 7:36:25'Yes, bikes we've designed and helped to build.

7:36:25 > 7:36:27'What could possibly go wrong?'

7:36:27 > 7:36:29I'm going to go lightweight, I'm going to go quite high,

7:36:29 > 7:36:32because it's difficult to steer if you're too low.

7:36:32 > 7:36:33And I'm going to go for speed.

7:36:33 > 7:36:36I just tried to write down everything Barney keeps saying,

7:36:36 > 7:36:38trying to copy him!

7:36:38 > 7:36:43So, low seat, I heard, lightweight, and stability.

7:36:43 > 7:36:47There's no point putting pen to paper yet. I'm just thinking.

7:36:47 > 7:36:51Basically what it means is you've got zero ideas, Radz, yeah?

7:36:51 > 7:36:54They're...work in progress.

7:36:54 > 7:36:56Yeah, thought so.

7:36:56 > 7:37:01'Judging our designs are a panel of top cycling experts.'

7:37:01 > 7:37:04'Graeme Obree, nicknamed the Flying Scotsman,

7:37:04 > 7:37:07'has set world records on a self-built bike.'

7:37:07 > 7:37:09'British Cycling Go-Ride coach Kim Meadows

7:37:09 > 7:37:12'knows everything there is to know about cycling technique.'

7:37:12 > 7:37:15'And Neil Carter is from the British Human Power Club.

7:37:15 > 7:37:20'In his time, he's built and raced hundreds of pedal-powered vehicles.'

7:37:23 > 7:37:27I don't really know what's going on. I've done a very terrible design.

7:37:27 > 7:37:31'With the experts waiting, it's time to finish our designs.'

7:37:32 > 7:37:35Good gears, solid brakes,

7:37:35 > 7:37:36low centre of gravity.

7:37:36 > 7:37:40- Barney, did you just say brakes? - Yeah.

7:37:40 > 7:37:42Who's going to be using brakes in this?

7:37:43 > 7:37:47'Right, let's show them what we've got.'

7:37:49 > 7:37:53Hi. That's the Shadow GT7 that you're looking at.

7:37:53 > 7:37:55Seven is my lucky number.

7:37:55 > 7:37:58My name is Radzi, and this is the Radicator.

7:37:58 > 7:38:00This is my bike design,

7:38:00 > 7:38:02and it's called the Linds-mobil.

7:38:02 > 7:38:05I'm thinking gold,

7:38:05 > 7:38:07like the medal I'll be getting.

7:38:07 > 7:38:10'Radzi, they don't seem too impressed.'

7:38:10 > 7:38:14I've gone for a single frame that goes over both wheels,

7:38:14 > 7:38:16and also houses the pedal unit at the end.

7:38:16 > 7:38:19We'll have carbon fibre wheels, because they're nice and light.

7:38:19 > 7:38:21Lightweight seat.

7:38:21 > 7:38:23Race gears, because there's a hill on the course.

7:38:23 > 7:38:26'OK, Barney, your design sounds more technical,

7:38:26 > 7:38:27'but they're still not impressed.'

7:38:27 > 7:38:30Have you ridden a bike like this before in your life?

7:38:30 > 7:38:32I've never ridden a bike like this before, no.

7:38:32 > 7:38:35It looks a bit of a mess, cos my head's a bit of a mess about bikes,

7:38:35 > 7:38:37cos I'm not an expert.

7:38:37 > 7:38:39'That's not going to fill them full of confidence.'

7:38:39 > 7:38:41What would you make it out of?

7:38:41 > 7:38:43I couldn't be sure, Kim.

7:38:43 > 7:38:46I've never made a bike. I've barely ridden on one!

7:38:46 > 7:38:48We can advise you on that.

7:38:48 > 7:38:50That's a smaller wheel at the front,

7:38:50 > 7:38:53larger wheel at the back with the flames.

7:38:53 > 7:38:56And that's me, going really, really fast.

7:38:56 > 7:38:58Personally, I would go for a big wheel at the front,

7:38:58 > 7:39:00because it gives you a bigger gear.

7:39:00 > 7:39:03I want to steer with just one of the back wheels,

7:39:03 > 7:39:05cos I thought that was the safest way.

7:39:05 > 7:39:08'What? Steer with just ONE of the four wheels?'

7:39:08 > 7:39:10I want it to be streamlined,

7:39:10 > 7:39:13and if it can have a nice cushion on it, that would be great.

7:39:13 > 7:39:17'Come on, Lindsey! We're after speed, not comfort.

7:39:17 > 7:39:20'What do the judges really think?'

7:39:20 > 7:39:21There's a major problem.

7:39:21 > 7:39:24I think, if you built this and raced it as that steering system is,

7:39:24 > 7:39:27you would spend most of the time sideways rather than upright.

7:39:27 > 7:39:31Could we have a racer on our hands?

7:39:31 > 7:39:33That could be really fast.

7:39:33 > 7:39:35'Fast, yes. I like fast.

7:39:35 > 7:39:37'What do they reckon to yours, Linds?'

7:39:37 > 7:39:40I would definitely not have back-wheel steering,

7:39:40 > 7:39:42because it's really difficult to make it work.

7:39:42 > 7:39:44What do you think about the seat?

7:39:44 > 7:39:47The seat looks OK. Comfort's good.

7:39:47 > 7:39:51I think I might be inclined to lay it down a little bit more.

7:39:51 > 7:39:54But that doesn't mean it has to lose personality.

7:39:54 > 7:39:56'Hardly glowing praise.

7:39:56 > 7:39:59'What did they make of your design, Radzi?'

7:39:59 > 7:40:02Looking where your pedal is on your back wheel,

7:40:02 > 7:40:05the chain's going to go straight through your body.

7:40:05 > 7:40:06That's a big problem.

7:40:06 > 7:40:09Erm, where are your brakes? Front wheels, back wheel?

7:40:11 > 7:40:13I hadn't thought about the brakes.

7:40:13 > 7:40:15'So, there's still work to be done,

7:40:15 > 7:40:18'but the panel are passionate about pedal power,

7:40:18 > 7:40:21'and agree to help refine our designs.'

7:40:21 > 7:40:25'But will it be enough to help us build race-worthy bikes?'

7:40:27 > 7:40:30I don't know, Barney voiceover. You pose an interesting question.

7:40:30 > 7:40:32Stay tuned to find out in ten minutes

7:40:32 > 7:40:34who pedals first over the finish line.

7:40:34 > 7:40:37I know, I was there. I'm excited. Have you seen my shirt?

7:40:37 > 7:40:39It's got bikes on it. Do you like it?

7:40:39 > 7:40:42The reason we're inspiring you to raise money for Sport Relief

7:40:42 > 7:40:45is to actually raise money for the great causes they support.

7:40:45 > 7:40:48Last week, I got to find out first-hand how the fundraising

7:40:48 > 7:40:50really can make a difference.

7:40:53 > 7:40:55'Meet Maisie. She's 13 years old.

7:40:55 > 7:40:58'Maisie is just like any other 13-year-old girl,

7:40:58 > 7:41:02'except that she was born with cerebral palsy.'

7:41:02 > 7:41:05Cerebral palsy is a condition which affects the brain,

7:41:05 > 7:41:07which means it doesn't work properly,

7:41:07 > 7:41:09and it does different things to different people.

7:41:09 > 7:41:12'In Maisie's case, it causes the movement messages

7:41:12 > 7:41:15'that her brain sends to her muscles to get scrambled up,'

7:41:15 > 7:41:18which means she finds it really difficult to do things

7:41:18 > 7:41:19that you and I take for granted.

7:41:19 > 7:41:23But don't let that fool you. Maisie won't let anything stop her.

7:41:25 > 7:41:27HE KNOCKS AT THE DOOR

7:41:28 > 7:41:30- Hi, Barney.- Hi, Maisie.

7:41:30 > 7:41:33- It's a nice day. Do you want to go for a walk?- OK.

7:41:37 > 7:41:41Maisie, what's it like living with cerebral palsy?

7:41:41 > 7:41:43Well, erm...

7:41:54 > 7:41:57And it's not just things like walking that Maisie finds difficult?

7:41:57 > 7:42:00Yeah, Maisie has had epilepsy as well.

7:42:00 > 7:42:03She's had epilepsy since she was born.

7:42:03 > 7:42:07In fact, that was the first sign that we knew she had, potentially,

7:42:07 > 7:42:10cerebral palsy, because I found her in her cot having a seizure.

7:42:10 > 7:42:13'Epilepsy is a condition that causes seizures.

7:42:13 > 7:42:15'These can make people fall unconscious

7:42:15 > 7:42:19'and shake uncontrollably, which can be very scary.'

7:42:19 > 7:42:23She needs somebody with her all the time, really, just to watch her.

7:42:23 > 7:42:25'Things are sometimes tough for Maisie

7:42:25 > 7:42:28'but she doesn't let her life revolve around her condition.'

7:42:28 > 7:42:33Quite the opposite. Maisie's making quite a splash, literally.

7:42:34 > 7:42:37'This is the BOK Swimming Academy, and these guys train hard.

7:42:37 > 7:42:39'And, they compete hard.'

7:42:41 > 7:42:43'Maisie is part of a special training programme

7:42:43 > 7:42:47'which helps swimmers with special needs work towards the Paralympics,

7:42:47 > 7:42:49'which means she's good. Really good.

7:42:49 > 7:42:53'And, today, Maisie's challenged me to a race. Bring it on.'

7:42:53 > 7:42:55- Maisie, Barney, ready? - WHISTLE BLOWS

7:43:08 > 7:43:11Well, I have to say, Maisie, after racing you

7:43:11 > 7:43:13and seeing first-hand how fast you are in the water,

7:43:13 > 7:43:16it's like looking at a different person.

7:43:16 > 7:43:18How do you feel when you're in the water?

7:43:27 > 7:43:30That would be incredible. What is it you enjoy about swimming?

7:43:40 > 7:43:43- 'And that coach is Gemma.' - Ready? Go!

7:43:43 > 7:43:45How does being in a club like this help Maisie?

7:43:45 > 7:43:49It is hugely important, not just for her and the health benefits,

7:43:49 > 7:43:52but to feel part of a big club, as well. It's a huge thing.

7:43:52 > 7:43:55We talk about how important it is to donate money to Sport Relief.

7:43:55 > 7:43:57You know first-hand where this money goes.

7:43:57 > 7:43:59Tell us a little bit about how you spend the money.

7:43:59 > 7:44:02For us, not to have any funding would mean the club would fold.

7:44:02 > 7:44:04We've been able to get some new coaches,

7:44:04 > 7:44:07get them qualified to a higher level, get new equipment,

7:44:07 > 7:44:09and get specialised equipment.

7:44:09 > 7:44:12'One of the club's rising stars is 13-year-old Ruben.

7:44:12 > 7:44:15'He trains with the GB Down's syndrome squad,

7:44:15 > 7:44:18'and last year, he smashed it in the national summer games

7:44:18 > 7:44:20'of the Special Olympics.'

7:44:21 > 7:44:24Ruben, you're fast, like an Olympic athlete fast.

7:44:24 > 7:44:26Tell me what you got.

7:44:26 > 7:44:30- I got one gold and two bronzes. - Wow! That's pretty impressive stuff.

7:44:30 > 7:44:32What do you enjoy about swimming here?

7:44:32 > 7:44:37I like the coaches who help me focus and just win some medals.

7:44:37 > 7:44:40Well, there's no time like the present. No point being lazy.

7:44:40 > 7:44:43Come on, get training. Give me ten press-ups.

7:44:43 > 7:44:45I'm only kidding.

7:44:45 > 7:44:47I want 20.

7:44:48 > 7:44:50Raising money for Sport Relief means that life for children

7:44:50 > 7:44:54and adults across the UK and around the world can get better.

7:44:54 > 7:44:56You really can make a difference.

7:44:56 > 7:44:59So, what are you waiting for? Jump in!

7:45:00 > 7:45:02We had such a brilliant day.

7:45:02 > 7:45:05Ruben and Maisie are tipped for top things in the future,

7:45:05 > 7:45:07so keep your eyes peeled for those. That wasn't easy to say!

7:45:07 > 7:45:10If you are going to get involved with Sport Relief,

7:45:10 > 7:45:13why not grab a grown-up and head over to the Blue Peter website?

7:45:13 > 7:45:16Click on Sport Relief, and then click on Chris Hoy's face.

7:45:16 > 7:45:20If you meet Chris Hoy in real life, don't click on his real face.

7:45:20 > 7:45:23That will show you how to join in the fun and games.

7:45:23 > 7:45:26And if you click here, it'll take you to the Sport Relief website,

7:45:26 > 7:45:30where you can find out what events are happening near you.

7:45:30 > 7:45:34Click in the box which says you've been inspired by Team Blue Peter.

7:45:34 > 7:45:36Sign up, and go along with a grown-up.

7:45:36 > 7:45:39Almost 1,000 of you have signed up so far. Keep those coming in.

7:45:39 > 7:45:42If you want to vote for your favourite sport while you're there,

7:45:42 > 7:45:45why not have a go? You can vote for run, swim, or cycle

7:45:45 > 7:45:47by clicking on the face that corresponds with it.

7:45:47 > 7:45:51And, if you're going to do something for Sport Relief,

7:45:51 > 7:45:53send us a video of what you're going to do.

7:45:53 > 7:45:55Get someone to film it on a smartphone

7:45:55 > 7:45:58or any device that films a video, and send it to:

7:46:00 > 7:46:04Do not forget in that e-mail to include a name of your parent

7:46:04 > 7:46:08or guardian, as well as their contact number, and ask permission as well.

7:46:08 > 7:46:10We know that you are brilliant at getting in touch.

7:46:10 > 7:46:15Look at the big badge wall, it's smothered in your fantastic post.

7:46:15 > 7:46:17This - thank you, Radzi -

7:46:59 > 7:47:02Barney is the joker, Lindsey is always smiling,

7:47:02 > 7:47:04and Radzi has epic hair.

7:47:04 > 7:47:07If you look here, it says that Barney is rubbish at telling jokes.

7:48:56 > 7:48:59- What is it?- I don't know what it is, but it's pretty cool.

7:48:59 > 7:49:02- What can you do with it?- Well, by putting this thing on my head,

7:49:02 > 7:49:04I can strap myself into it.

7:49:04 > 7:49:07- This is like a really cool microphone?- It's like a microphone,

7:49:07 > 7:49:10and little speakers so I can hear what I'm doing.

7:49:10 > 7:49:15And if I do, let's say, a whole bunch of noises, I can layer them.

7:49:15 > 7:49:18- So I can be like... - HE BEATBOXES

7:49:45 > 7:49:48# Yeah! # ..then stop it all.

7:49:48 > 7:49:50That is incredible! Let's hear it for Beardyman!

7:49:50 > 7:49:54Now, this is the Beardytron 5000 MkII that you're using here,

7:49:54 > 7:49:57a very clever bit of software that's designed with you in mind.

7:49:57 > 7:49:59- It works really well for what you do.- It's pretty cool.

7:49:59 > 7:50:03I'd love to show the people of Britain what it can do.

7:50:03 > 7:50:06Well, we have some suggestions for you to make it easier.

7:50:06 > 7:50:09We said you were going to be here so they've been flying in

7:50:34 > 7:50:35# A wig you wear to a mall... #

7:50:35 > 7:50:37- That's off topic.- That's beautiful.

7:50:37 > 7:50:41Can I point out here that Beardyman doesn't know what I'm going to say.

7:50:41 > 7:50:43This is real improvisation.

7:50:43 > 7:50:46This one is from Orange Posh Satsuma,

7:50:46 > 7:50:48"Here's one someone else made earlier."

7:50:48 > 7:50:52- Here's one someone else made earlier?- That's the theme.- Erm, OK.

7:51:08 > 7:51:11- That wasn't really a song, was it? - It was beautiful, whatever it was.

7:51:11 > 7:51:14We experienced it first-hand. This is from Apricot Piano Vampire -

7:51:14 > 7:51:16generated names, not real names.

7:51:16 > 7:51:18"You should write a song about a duck saying quack

7:51:18 > 7:51:20"and then starting to do a hip-hop dance

7:51:20 > 7:51:23"and roaming the streets saying, 'Hey, I'm a cool hip-hop duck.

7:51:23 > 7:51:26"'Come dance with me.' And it should end with everyone hip-hop dancing."

7:51:26 > 7:51:29Hands down, my favourite moment on Blue Peter. It's all yours.

7:51:29 > 7:51:32- OK, this means you've got to do a hip-hop dance at the end.- Bring it.

7:52:28 > 7:52:31Er, no, I think I'll leave it to Beardyman, thank you very much.

7:52:31 > 7:52:35Bikes, on the other hand, I've got a handle on!

7:52:35 > 7:52:37GROANS

7:52:40 > 7:52:42What? I thought it was funny. Thanks, Beardyman.

7:52:42 > 7:52:45Head to the website, bbc.co.uk/bluepeter,

7:52:45 > 7:52:48if you want more exclusive videos of the genius himself.

7:52:48 > 7:52:52Earlier in the show, you saw some of our cycling ideas come to life.

7:52:52 > 7:52:54Now it's finally time to test them out

7:52:54 > 7:52:56and hit the track as Team Blue Peter.

7:53:01 > 7:53:03'As if the design of our bikes wasn't fun enough,

7:53:03 > 7:53:05'it's now time to have them built.'

7:53:05 > 7:53:08'That's being looked after by Neil Carter

7:53:08 > 7:53:09'from the British Human Power Club,

7:53:09 > 7:53:13'and some engineering students from the University of Manchester.'

7:53:13 > 7:53:15'Oh, and with a little help from us.'

7:53:15 > 7:53:20- So I just burnt right through the frame?- Mm-hmm.- Oh, sorry, Neil.

7:53:20 > 7:53:22Ooh, you are kidding me?

7:53:22 > 7:53:24'Who knew that building a bike was so hard?'

7:53:24 > 7:53:26CLATTERING METAL

7:53:26 > 7:53:28LAUGHTER

7:53:31 > 7:53:35'A week later and, at the cycle track in Preston, it's race day.

7:53:35 > 7:53:38'But how have the bikes turned out?'

7:53:38 > 7:53:40This is the Linds-mobil.

7:53:40 > 7:53:43Check this out! It's got it all.

7:53:43 > 7:53:45It's bright pink, of course.

7:53:45 > 7:53:49It's got flowers on it and a little bell down here.

7:53:49 > 7:53:53Maximum comfort. A spotty cushion.

7:53:53 > 7:53:55'Not so easy to get going, though.'

7:53:57 > 7:53:59'I've not just got the prettiest ride.

7:53:59 > 7:54:02'Because of its design, the Linds-mobil is pretty stable, too.

7:54:02 > 7:54:05'Oh, yeah, I think I've got this one in the bag.'

7:54:06 > 7:54:09'Ah, but you've not seen mine, Lindsey.'

7:54:09 > 7:54:12Let me introduce you to the Shadow GT7.

7:54:16 > 7:54:19This bike is fast,

7:54:19 > 7:54:23because, unlike Radzi and Lindsey, there are no gimmicks on this bike.

7:54:23 > 7:54:25It's built with the three S-es in mind,

7:54:25 > 7:54:29it's simple, it's streamlined, and it's got speed.

7:54:31 > 7:54:35'Yes, the Shadow GT7 might not be that stable, but it is speedy,

7:54:35 > 7:54:39'so, assuming I can stay on it, I'm going to win this race.'

7:54:40 > 7:54:42'Easy now, Barney.'

7:54:42 > 7:54:44Yeah, it's the Radicator.

7:54:46 > 7:54:48'My mean machine looks the part,

7:54:48 > 7:54:52'but, even on race day, it's still a work in progress.'

7:54:52 > 7:54:56I'm starting to realise that maybe I didn't think about the logistics.

7:54:56 > 7:54:59I didn't think about the wheels, and the gearing,

7:54:59 > 7:55:02erm, and the chain, which falls off all the time,

7:55:02 > 7:55:06or the pedals. I can't really turn the ped... It's complicated.

7:55:06 > 7:55:07But it's gold!

7:55:10 > 7:55:12'Barney's bike is very wobbly.

7:55:12 > 7:55:14'Lindsey's pink thing's, well, a slow-mobile,

7:55:14 > 7:55:18'so if the Radicator doesn't fall to pieces on the way around,

7:55:18 > 7:55:20'I think I'm in with half a chance.'

7:55:20 > 7:55:24'There's only one way we'll settle this, and that's on the track.'

7:55:24 > 7:55:28'Over to our pit-lane pundit and friend of CBBC, Ore.'

7:55:28 > 7:55:30Barn, I can see the focus on your face, my friend.

7:55:30 > 7:55:33What strategy are you going in to this race?

7:55:33 > 7:55:37I'm relying more on luck than skill, but I'm ready for the challenge.

7:55:37 > 7:55:39Radzi, having seen you ahead of this race,

7:55:39 > 7:55:41there's a good chance of you breaking down.

7:55:41 > 7:55:44- Are you worried about that possibility?- Very worried!

7:55:44 > 7:55:47- It's more a case of when, rather than if.- OK.

7:55:47 > 7:55:51- Lindsey Russell...- Yes. - ..our resident Penelope Pitstop.

7:55:51 > 7:55:54Talk us through this bad boy. This is quite something, isn't it?

7:55:54 > 7:55:57- I've really gone for design. - Yeah.- All the gear, no idea.

7:55:57 > 7:56:00Good luck. Fist bump for fun? Why not?

7:56:00 > 7:56:03'Vehicles ready, crowd watching,

7:56:03 > 7:56:06'we have to complete three laps of the one-mile track.

7:56:06 > 7:56:08'First one home wins.

7:56:08 > 7:56:10'Yeah, let's do this.'

7:56:10 > 7:56:14Three, two, one...

7:56:14 > 7:56:16Go, go, go!

7:56:16 > 7:56:19'It's a surprise early lead for the Linds-mobil.'

7:56:19 > 7:56:22'And a very unsteady start for me.

7:56:22 > 7:56:26'But when the Shadow GT7 gets going, it's rapid.'

7:56:28 > 7:56:32He's blowing away the rest of the field. So casual!

7:56:32 > 7:56:36'I might be leading, but I can't shake off the wobbles.'

7:56:36 > 7:56:39'We might be fighting it out for second place, here, Linds.'

7:56:39 > 7:56:42Radzi is still on the bike, importantly.

7:56:42 > 7:56:44'I am so far ahead in this race

7:56:44 > 7:56:48'that I think it's time to have a little bit of fun.'

7:56:48 > 7:56:50Barney Harwood went over the start/finish line

7:56:50 > 7:56:53probably about six minutes ago.

7:56:53 > 7:56:55Oh, my knee, it's really sore.

7:56:55 > 7:56:58I'm genuinely worried about my friends right now.

7:56:58 > 7:57:00'Don't worry, Ore. I'm faking injury

7:57:00 > 7:57:02'to give Lindsey and Radzi a chance to catch up.'

7:57:02 > 7:57:05This is where I win the BAFTA for Best Actor.

7:57:05 > 7:57:09- What?- Barney!- Barns?- What's happened?

7:57:09 > 7:57:12- I came flying off, I think I've bust my knee.- No, you didn't?

7:57:12 > 7:57:16- Health and safety are coming. - Are you serious?- Yeah, it's fine.

7:57:16 > 7:57:19It's weird, cos you don't have a cut on your knee, either.

7:57:19 > 7:57:21Come on, I can't wait all day for you!

7:57:21 > 7:57:24See, I knew they'd stop. They love me.

7:57:24 > 7:57:27It's tight now! Barney Harwood is now right at the back.

7:57:27 > 7:57:30It's Radzi from Lindsey Russell.

7:57:30 > 7:57:34'So much for sportsmanship. These two are trying to block me in!'

7:57:34 > 7:57:36Look out!

7:57:39 > 7:57:43'But I've done it, I'm through. This race is mine.'

7:57:43 > 7:57:47Hold on, it looks like we could have a winner...

7:57:47 > 7:57:50But it's me! I've snuck through in the lead!

7:57:50 > 7:57:53He's stopped! I can't believe Radzi's stopped!

7:57:53 > 7:57:55He was celebrating as if he'd won the race!

7:57:55 > 7:57:59'No, no, no! My chain's come off!'

7:57:59 > 7:58:04Lindsey Russell is the Sport Relief winner!

7:58:04 > 7:58:08'I've crossed the finish line, but I can't leave my race buddy behind.'

7:58:12 > 7:58:16You would not believe the drama that's going on here!

7:58:16 > 7:58:20Barney's...gaining, but Radzi's getting pushed to the line...

7:58:20 > 7:58:22'It's a photo finish...

7:58:22 > 7:58:25'and I've taken it by a wheel length!'

7:58:25 > 7:58:28'But there's something not quite right about all this. Yeah.'

7:58:28 > 7:58:30I saw them do the short cut dirty on me.

7:58:30 > 7:58:34- 'Yeah, don't think I didn't spot it.'- Take the short cut.

7:58:34 > 7:58:36- Down here, do you want me to show you?- Yeah.

7:58:36 > 7:58:38'Come on, how else were we going to catch you?'

7:58:38 > 7:58:41Well, guys, there can only be one winner.

7:58:41 > 7:58:43For completing the entire three miles,

7:59:02 > 7:59:05- Is that what you say? Kind of. - Do you remember your Pancake Off?

7:59:05 > 7:59:08- Yeah, OK.- Just remind you of that. Anyway, earlier in the show,

7:59:08 > 7:59:11we asked you to let us know what festival you would create and why.

7:59:11 > 7:59:14- Loads of you have been getting in touch.- Teal Crazy Boing says,

7:59:14 > 7:59:17"I'd have a dance festival where you can dance all day,

7:59:17 > 7:59:19- "and don't have to do anything normally."- I like that.

7:59:19 > 7:59:21Blue Neon Deer says, "I'd hold a festival for hamsters,
