6:52:14 > 6:52:17# I'm talking about the Queen, see Diamond Jubilee

6:52:17 > 6:52:19# It's a 60 year royal anniversary

6:52:34 > 6:52:38# It's Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee

6:52:38 > 6:52:43# The Queen's been sitting on the throne for the last 60 years

6:52:43 > 6:52:45# I mean, obviously she's not just been sat on the throne

6:53:00 > 6:53:02# I wonder how many hands she's shaken since the Coronation... #

6:53:02 > 6:53:06- Probably quite a lot, I imagine. - Yeah.

6:53:06 > 6:53:09# So this is Her Majesty's third royal jubilee

6:53:09 > 6:53:11# She had a silver one - that's 25 years - in the late '70s

6:53:11 > 6:53:14# Then it was golden - that's 50 Are you keeping a tally?

6:53:14 > 6:53:16# Brian May played his guitar on top of Buckingham Palace... #

6:53:27 > 6:53:30- Oh, I remember that.- Yeah? - It was great.

6:53:30 > 6:53:32# So what's she going to do this year to celebrate?

6:53:32 > 6:53:34# Well, the Diamond Jubilee's the most significant of all of them

6:53:34 > 6:53:37# The only other monarch to have had one is Queen Victoria

6:53:37 > 6:53:39# There's going to be a concert, a parade, a procession

6:53:39 > 6:53:42# A real carnival atmosphere despite the recession

6:53:42 > 6:53:44# Wow, that sounds great You've really set the scene

6:53:44 > 6:53:46# I'm interested to find out more about the Queen

6:53:46 > 6:53:48# Queen Elizabeth was born in 1926

6:53:48 > 6:53:51# To Queen Liz, the Queen Mother and King George VI

6:53:51 > 6:53:53# She took to the throne when she was 25

6:53:53 > 6:53:56# When her dad, King George Sadly suddenly died

6:53:56 > 6:53:58# Now, she's head of the state of the United Kingdom

6:53:58 > 6:54:00# And Australia, Canada and New Zealand

6:54:00 > 6:54:03# In fact, the Queen's the head of 16 states, or nations

6:54:03 > 6:54:06# I'll move things on a bit, I see you're losing concentration

6:55:38 > 6:55:41Our travelling throne has been gallivanting around the UK

6:55:41 > 6:55:45to find out what you would do if you were King or Queen for the day.

6:55:45 > 6:55:49I would make the waiting lists at the hospitals shorter.

6:55:49 > 6:55:53If I were queen, I would NOT be wearing this right now.

6:55:56 > 6:55:59If I was king, I would make everybody have food fights.

6:55:59 > 6:56:02I'd get the Queen to go on my skateboard

6:56:02 > 6:56:04and I'd push her down a hill.

6:56:04 > 6:56:08If I was queen for a day, I would shop till I drop.

6:56:08 > 6:56:11If I were king for a day, I would let children rule.

6:57:09 > 6:57:11Things to keep you amused.

6:57:11 > 6:57:14We have got some special guests. Hayley and Ore from Newsround

6:57:23 > 6:57:25You've got the face of Ore and Hayley

6:57:25 > 6:57:29and lovely Michelle, with her big hair on the top.

6:57:29 > 6:57:31I'm going to try and make these.

6:57:31 > 6:57:34Go to the Blue Peter website and download these templates.

6:57:34 > 6:57:38There's Royal themes, you can print Helen and myself,

6:57:38 > 6:57:42whatever tickles your fancy.

6:57:42 > 6:57:46Take some scissors, which are buried under here somewhere.

6:57:46 > 6:57:52I'm going to do Michelle, by cutting her out like this.

6:57:52 > 6:57:55- There's a line you can cut round.- We do help you out with these things.

6:57:55 > 6:57:57Just in case you're not too sure how good you are

6:57:57 > 6:58:01at cutting round objects, the dotted lines will help to guide you.

6:58:01 > 6:58:04You will end up with something that looks like this.

6:58:04 > 6:58:05Michelle is now wearing a hat!

6:58:05 > 6:58:09The idea is to get both sides open, flat on the table like that.

6:58:09 > 6:58:13You put some glue on one side like this.

6:58:13 > 6:58:15Very simply.

6:58:15 > 6:58:17While I'm doing this, Hayley and Ore can tell us

6:58:17 > 6:58:20- what they're doing for the weekend. - What are we doing, Hayley?

6:58:20 > 6:58:22We're going mad for the Jubilee.

6:58:22 > 6:58:26- Everyone is.- Newsround will be live outside the palace.

6:58:26 > 6:58:30- Hopefully I'll get to see the Queen. - You and Leah will be there.

6:58:30 > 6:58:33Yeah, and we'll be outside St Paul's Cathedral

6:58:33 > 6:58:36cos there's a big celebration going on apparently(!)

6:58:36 > 6:58:37A large ceremony, we've heard.

6:58:37 > 6:58:40Your timing is impeccable cos time's up. That's finished,

6:58:40 > 6:58:44go and make it. Go to the Blue Peter website for more info.

6:58:44 > 6:58:48Now over the last few months, you've probably seen this everywhere.

6:58:48 > 6:58:53It is the official Diamond Jubilee emblem. Behind there is Tomor.

6:58:53 > 6:58:56Say hello. Hi. Now this emblem has been all over the place.

6:58:56 > 6:58:59It's on keyrings, T-shirts, mugs

6:58:59 > 6:59:02and its story started right here on Blue Peter.

6:59:05 > 6:59:0918 months ago, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee seemed like a long way off.

6:59:09 > 6:59:12But when you're organising a host of national events like the ones

6:59:12 > 6:59:16happening this weekend, you've got to start planning early.

6:59:18 > 6:59:21So when Buckingham Palace contacted us about

6:59:21 > 6:59:23a competition to design the emblem

6:59:23 > 6:59:27for the Jubilee celebrations, we jumped at the chance.

6:59:27 > 6:59:31We want you to design the official emblem of the Jubilee.

6:59:31 > 6:59:34The winning design will be everywhere.

6:59:34 > 6:59:36It will become the symbol of the celebrations.

6:59:36 > 6:59:39And as usual, you lot didn't let us down.

6:59:39 > 6:59:44We received more than 34,000 entries of an amazingly high standard.

6:59:46 > 6:59:48In fact if we attached every entry together,

6:59:48 > 6:59:51they could wrap around Buckingham Palace

6:59:51 > 6:59:5222 and a half times.

6:59:54 > 6:59:58Which gave us a bit of a problem about how to pick a winner.

6:59:58 > 7:00:02- I like that because it's quirky. - These three.- I just love this one.

7:00:02 > 7:00:05In the end it took 15 judges nearly 200 hours to sift through

7:00:05 > 7:00:09each and every one of your brilliant designs...

7:00:09 > 7:00:13until we found the one entry that stood out above all the others.

7:00:14 > 7:00:16There it is, the official emblem

7:00:16 > 7:00:19for Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee,

7:00:19 > 7:00:22- designed by Katherine from Chester. - Yes, beautiful!- She's here today!

7:00:22 > 7:00:23CHEERING

7:00:23 > 7:00:25- Bang bang!- Well done, Katherine!

7:00:25 > 7:00:28After a bit of fine-tuning, Katherine's final design

7:00:28 > 7:00:33was revealed to the nation, looking absolutely phenomenal.

7:00:34 > 7:00:38Katherine, there you go, that is your design, the official emblem.

7:00:38 > 7:00:42- Are you happy with how it's turned out?- Yeah.

7:00:42 > 7:00:44As if getting to see her design on everything

7:00:44 > 7:00:46from teapots to tea towels isn't enough,

7:00:46 > 7:00:49Katherine even got to visit Buckingham Palace

7:00:49 > 7:00:51to meet the Queen herself.

7:00:51 > 7:00:56Hello, very nice to see you. So this is your winning design, is it?

7:00:57 > 7:00:59What an amazing prize,

7:00:59 > 7:01:02and an incredible story to tell for years to come.

7:01:05 > 7:01:06CHEERING

7:01:06 > 7:01:10Aw, and here she is, Katherine has joined our party.

7:01:10 > 7:01:13- Lovely to see you. You must be very proud?- Yeah.

7:01:13 > 7:01:17Katherine, we've seen your logo everywhere, but in particular,

7:01:17 > 7:01:19last week there was somewhere very special.

7:01:19 > 7:01:22It was on the British Airways jumbo jet.

7:01:22 > 7:01:25We have a picture. Look at that! How incredible!

7:01:25 > 7:01:28Congratulations. That must've been so exciting!

7:01:28 > 7:01:30- Thank you.- It'll be incredible. So many things happening.

7:01:30 > 7:01:34This weekend sees a boating pageant that'll take over the River Thames,

7:01:34 > 7:01:38the likes of which haven't been seen for over 300 years in the UK.

7:01:38 > 7:01:41Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect to see.

7:01:44 > 7:01:47Sunday's Diamond Jubilee river pageant is going to be massive,

7:01:47 > 7:01:51with 1,000 different boats escorting the Queen

7:01:51 > 7:01:53down the River Thames in London.

7:01:53 > 7:01:57So to give you a taste of what's to come, we're taking to the water

7:01:57 > 7:01:59to get the inside story on what it takes

7:01:59 > 7:02:02to prepare for such an important event.

7:02:02 > 7:02:04Back a bit... Ow!

7:02:04 > 7:02:06- Two, six!- Heave!- Two, six!- Heave!

7:02:06 > 7:02:08But while this weekend's boat pageant will be

7:02:08 > 7:02:11the biggest the Thames has ever seen, it won't be the first.

7:02:11 > 7:02:15This is a giant version of a very famous painting

7:02:15 > 7:02:20by Italian artist Canaletto, which dates back to the 1750's

7:02:20 > 7:02:22and shows a boat parade on the Thames

7:02:22 > 7:02:25celebrating Lord Mayor's Day. With no photographs

7:02:25 > 7:02:30or video, art was the only way of capturing this kind of event.

7:02:30 > 7:02:33The original artwork has been in the Czech Republic

7:02:33 > 7:02:35since it was painted over 250 years ago,

7:02:35 > 7:02:39but in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee river pageant,

7:02:39 > 7:02:41its current owners have lent it

7:02:41 > 7:02:43to the National Maritime Museum in London.

7:02:43 > 7:02:46The painting's been carefully packed up in Prague

7:02:46 > 7:02:50and it's been sealed, and to make sure nobody's interfered with it,

7:02:50 > 7:02:53the guys have gone round and checked the stickers aren't broken,

7:02:53 > 7:02:57so this should come out completely intact.

7:02:59 > 7:03:01I'm here to watch as the experts

7:03:01 > 7:03:05unpack this incredible piece of British history.

7:03:05 > 7:03:07It is like a Russian doll. It came in a huge case.

7:03:07 > 7:03:10We've taken off the outer crate, now we're in the inner crate!

7:03:10 > 7:03:12By the time it comes out,

7:03:12 > 7:03:15I'm worried it'll be the size of a postage stamp!

7:03:15 > 7:03:19Finally open, it's time to check the condition of the paintwork.

7:03:19 > 7:03:23Even the smallest dent or scratch will be a disaster.

7:03:23 > 7:03:27- We noticed a little fly spot. - What's a fly spot?

7:03:27 > 7:03:29Um, it's a fly poo, politely!

7:03:29 > 7:03:33- So a fly's flown in and done its business?- Well...- Yes.

7:03:33 > 7:03:36I love that this painting was created in 1752,

7:03:36 > 7:03:37it's travelled across Europe,

7:03:37 > 7:03:41and the one thing causing a problem is a tiny little fly!

7:03:42 > 7:03:47Despite one fly in the ointment, it's still in great condition,

7:03:47 > 7:03:49and it's brilliant to have it on home turf.

7:03:49 > 7:03:52But Sunday's Diamond Jubilee pageant could blow the river party

7:03:52 > 7:03:54of 1750 out of the water.

7:03:54 > 7:03:58Barney's been to meet the crew on one of those thousand boats.

7:04:00 > 7:04:02The Sea Cadets were established over 150 years ago

7:04:02 > 7:04:05to encourage young people to develop their team skills

7:04:05 > 7:04:08through nautical-based adventures.

7:04:10 > 7:04:13This weekend, boats from 55 Sea Cadet units will escort

7:04:13 > 7:04:14The Queen down the Thames,

7:04:14 > 7:04:18and one of them will be captained by cadets from the Salford unit.

7:04:19 > 7:04:21Jordan and Kyle are part of that crew.

7:04:21 > 7:04:25Good to see you. Let's talk about Sunday, a big thing. Are you nervous?

7:04:25 > 7:04:26- Very.- Definitely nervous.

7:04:26 > 7:04:29What have you been doing to get ready?

7:04:29 > 7:04:32Going down the canal, keeping distances, checking formations.

7:04:32 > 7:04:35For this Sunday's pageant, all 55 Sea Cadet boats

7:04:35 > 7:04:37will move into a diamond formation

7:04:37 > 7:04:41to guide Her Royal Highness along the River Thames in style.

7:04:41 > 7:04:43It's going to be quite a thing to see.

7:04:45 > 7:04:48They won't have performed together before the event,

7:04:48 > 7:04:51so I'm here to find out first hand how the crew

7:04:51 > 7:04:54have been training to make sure the diamond looks, well, diamond.

7:04:54 > 7:04:56You line the boat up where you want it to be,

7:04:56 > 7:04:59and I'll just take over and we'll be good to go.

7:04:59 > 7:05:02Instead of oars, the cadets are using their motor

7:05:02 > 7:05:06to keep a steady speed and to ensure the diamond formation

7:05:06 > 7:05:08is evenly spaced.

7:05:08 > 7:05:11The boats need to keep exactly eight metres apart.

7:05:11 > 7:05:15Am I at the right distance at the front?

7:05:15 > 7:05:18The Salford Sea Cadets have been practising

7:05:18 > 7:05:20with an eight metre-long rope

7:05:20 > 7:05:23but on the day, they'll have to do it by eye.

7:05:23 > 7:05:25- Back a bit!- Back a bit? How?!

7:05:25 > 7:05:28Good job I'm not responsible for getting it perfect,

7:05:28 > 7:05:31especially as the cadets will have to keep it up

7:05:31 > 7:05:33for seven miles and 2.5 hours.

7:05:33 > 7:05:36You get a sense when you're doing this of how much the boys

7:05:36 > 7:05:38have got to concentrate on

7:05:38 > 7:05:41because this is a big day. It's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

7:05:41 > 7:05:45and they've got to be in formation for a long part of that journey

7:05:45 > 7:05:46down the Thames.

7:05:46 > 7:05:50This is going to look amazing on Sunday!

7:05:54 > 7:05:58While Barney experiences the easy life on one of the smaller boats,

7:05:58 > 7:06:01I have come to see how much hard work goes into ensuring

7:06:01 > 7:06:05that the Sea Cadets' biggest ship takes pride of place on the Thames.

7:06:05 > 7:06:07It's choppy at sea, isn't it?!

7:06:12 > 7:06:14This is the TS Royalist.

7:06:14 > 7:06:17At nearly 30 metres long, she's one of the most famous

7:06:17 > 7:06:19and fastest of the Sea Cadets' vessels.

7:06:22 > 7:06:26It's so large, she won't be part of the moving boat parade this weekend.

7:06:26 > 7:06:29She'll be one of the 40 ships moored on the banks of the Thames

7:06:29 > 7:06:32as part of the spectacular avenue of sails for the Queen

7:06:32 > 7:06:34to pass on her journey.

7:06:34 > 7:06:36The Royalist is normally moored in Portsmouth,

7:06:36 > 7:06:40which is on the south coast of England and a four day sail

7:06:40 > 7:06:41away from the Thames.

7:06:41 > 7:06:44To make sure she gets to the pageant on time,

7:06:44 > 7:06:47her crew of Sea Cadets started work very early this morning.

7:06:56 > 7:06:58Erica, Jack, a quick word.

7:06:58 > 7:07:01I know you guys have been on this ship before, haven't you?

7:07:01 > 7:07:05But today is a big day because you're going to set sail to London

7:07:05 > 7:07:07so that this ship can be part of the pageant.

7:07:07 > 7:07:09That must be a huge honour, Jack.

7:07:09 > 7:07:12Yeah, it is. Definitely. My grandad was a cadet.

7:07:12 > 7:07:15He is very pleased I am following in his footsteps.

7:07:15 > 7:07:18Is there anything that could get in the way of you

7:07:18 > 7:07:21- getting to London on time? - The weather conditions, mostly.

7:07:21 > 7:07:23Have you had a look at the forecast?

7:07:23 > 7:07:26It should be mostly sunny and hoping for winds.

7:07:30 > 7:07:33At 9am it is time for the Royalist to set sail

7:07:33 > 7:07:35and I'm going to help the crew on the first leg

7:07:35 > 7:07:38of their four-day journey to the Thames.

7:07:38 > 7:07:42From Portsmouth, the Royalist will travel east along the coast,

7:07:42 > 7:07:45then north towards the mouth of the River Thames,

7:07:45 > 7:07:49to her final destination, that is if everything goes to plan.

7:07:49 > 7:07:53What else is going to effect your speed?

7:07:53 > 7:07:55The tides, do they have an effect?

7:07:55 > 7:07:59They can do because we have to dodge a lot of sandbanks on the way up

7:07:59 > 7:08:02- along the south coast. - So you could run aground?

7:08:02 > 7:08:05You could, yes. You have to be careful.

7:08:05 > 7:08:08I'm sure this crew of cadets wouldn't let that happen.

7:08:08 > 7:08:10Right now, I'm counting on their experience

7:08:10 > 7:08:13because my first job as Sea Cadet Skelton

7:08:13 > 7:08:18is to climb the 24-metre mast to the top to let the sails down.

7:08:22 > 7:08:24Bit of a head rush!

7:08:24 > 7:08:27If the Royalist is going to reach London in four days' time,

7:08:27 > 7:08:30all 11 sails need to be used to their best advantage.

7:08:32 > 7:08:34It is amazing up here, isn't it?

7:08:34 > 7:08:37You can see for miles, can't you?

7:08:37 > 7:08:41With the sales released, it's straight back down the mast.

7:08:41 > 7:08:43It's a bit nerve-racking because it's so narrow.

7:08:43 > 7:08:47My next duty is to help the crew pull the sails into place.

7:08:47 > 7:08:48- Two six...- Heave!

7:08:48 > 7:08:49THEY CHANT

7:08:52 > 7:08:56"Two six heave" is a nautical term that helps the crew to pull

7:08:56 > 7:09:00the ropes in time with each other. It doesn't make it any easier!

7:09:00 > 7:09:02I think that worked. The sail's up!

7:09:06 > 7:09:08So with the sails up, the TS Royalist is on course

7:09:08 > 7:09:10to reach the Thames in plenty of time.

7:09:10 > 7:09:15I am not going to be able to stay on board for her journey to London.

7:09:15 > 7:09:17The Sea Cadets are going to drop me back on shore

7:09:17 > 7:09:20before they continue along the coast towards the Thames.

7:09:20 > 7:09:22But if you are watching the pageant on Sunday,

7:09:22 > 7:09:24keep an eye out for the TS Royalist

7:09:24 > 7:09:26and the Salford Sea Cadets.

7:09:26 > 7:09:29They'll be taking part in this huge extravaganza,

7:09:29 > 7:09:30alongside 1,000 other boats.

7:09:34 > 7:09:37Back with our travelling throne, and worth finding out

7:09:37 > 7:09:40what you love about living in the UK.

7:09:40 > 7:09:43I love my country because there are so many nice people in it.

7:09:43 > 7:09:45I like living in Great Britain

7:09:45 > 7:09:51because I like going fast in my grandad's car.

7:09:51 > 7:09:58I love living in Great Britain because you get to meet new friends.

7:09:58 > 7:10:01I love living in Great Britain because you can eat your tea,

7:10:01 > 7:10:04your fish and chips out of a newspaper.

7:10:12 > 7:10:15As you can see, the Blue Peter Diamond Jubilee party

7:10:15 > 7:10:18is in full swing. No party would be complete without these two.

7:10:18 > 7:10:22Everybody, it's Ian and Kel. CHEERING

7:10:22 > 7:10:25You are so welcome, people! You are so welcome!

7:10:25 > 7:10:27What are you doing this weekend?

7:10:27 > 7:10:30I'm not chatting you up, I'm just asking.

7:10:30 > 7:10:32Chatting me up there!

7:10:32 > 7:10:35I'm going to Brighton this weekend to hopefully enjoy some sunshine.

7:10:35 > 7:10:37- Kel?- We are filming Friday Download

7:10:37 > 7:10:40and will probably have a little party.

7:10:40 > 7:10:44We've been asking, how are you celebrating the Diamond Jubilee?

7:10:44 > 7:10:47Amethyst says, she is going to be celebrating in the Lake District

7:10:47 > 7:10:49- for seven days. - Ian know where this is.

7:10:52 > 7:10:54Pin it on. Joseph is going to be celebrating

7:10:54 > 7:10:56with his nanna in West Yorkshire.

7:10:56 > 7:11:00Which is here. Never eat Shredded Wheat - West!

7:11:03 > 7:11:06Tanzanite is having a picnic with my cousins in west Wales.

7:11:06 > 7:11:08West Wales on the map.

7:11:08 > 7:11:10Wales is down here. Never eat Shredded Wheat!

7:11:10 > 7:11:12Emily, who is in Liverpool, is having a big sleep over

7:11:12 > 7:11:15and inviting all of her friends.

7:11:15 > 7:11:17You know where Liverpool is.

7:11:17 > 7:11:19- Liverpool!- That was awful!

7:11:19 > 7:11:22Charlotte from Cardiff says, "I'm going to a street party

7:11:22 > 7:11:24"and I'm going to chillax."

7:11:24 > 7:11:26Great word that, isn't it? So that's Cardiff.

7:11:26 > 7:11:28Did you take geography at school?!

7:11:28 > 7:11:31John in Fife is going to have a big Jubilee party

7:11:31 > 7:11:33and wishes we could all go!

7:11:33 > 7:11:36That's nice! Love Fife. Lovely part of the world.

7:11:36 > 7:11:39Lucy says she is going to a fete in my village.

7:11:39 > 7:11:42Let's stick Stratford-upon-Avon on the map, please.

7:11:42 > 7:11:45I think we need to correct that.

7:11:45 > 7:11:49One of the biggest things happening this weekend is a massive concert,

7:11:49 > 7:11:52taking place outside Buckingham Palace.

7:11:52 > 7:11:56You can watch it on TV on Monday night,

7:11:56 > 7:11:587.30pm on BBC One.

7:11:58 > 7:12:01Such a special event required a special organiser

7:12:01 > 7:12:04and we sent Sara Cox along to get the inside story

7:12:04 > 7:12:08from the man behind the concert of the decade.

7:12:10 > 7:12:12He's in one of the biggest bands on the planet,

7:12:12 > 7:12:14he's a judge on the X Factor

7:12:14 > 7:12:19and he managed to persuade a group of celebs to climb Kilimanjaro.

7:12:19 > 7:12:21So when the palace decided to throw a huge concert

7:12:21 > 7:12:24for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations,

7:12:24 > 7:12:27who better to get on board and organise it than Mr Gary Barlow?

7:12:27 > 7:12:30But even for a big star like Gary, putting on a Royal Concert

7:12:30 > 7:12:34is a massive undertaking, especially as he's got a lot to live up to.

7:12:35 > 7:12:40Back in 2002, the Queen hosted another mammoth musical festival

7:12:40 > 7:12:42for her Golden Jubilee,

7:12:42 > 7:12:46where huge stars like Sir Tom Jones from the Voice

7:12:46 > 7:12:49and Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon took to the stage.

7:12:49 > 7:12:53So the pressure is really on Gary to up the stakes this time around.

7:12:54 > 7:12:57Seeing as the concert is being held outside the gates

7:12:57 > 7:12:58of Buckingham Palace,

7:12:58 > 7:13:02they've only let me inside to get the gossip off him.

7:13:02 > 7:13:06I've been practising my curtsey, just in case I see the Queen!

7:13:12 > 7:13:15Yeah, this is very nice, this will do.

7:13:15 > 7:13:18This is where I'm going to chat to Gary in a minute.

7:13:18 > 7:13:21Out there, on that balcony, is the place William and Kate kissed

7:13:21 > 7:13:24on their wedding day.

7:13:27 > 7:13:29Here we are.

7:13:29 > 7:13:31- Look at this, eh!- How are you?

7:13:31 > 7:13:36- Are you OK?- Lovely to see you. Come and sit down.- Nice to see you.

7:13:36 > 7:13:39Well then, when you got the call from the Palace

7:13:39 > 7:13:42asking you to take on such a huge event, how did you feel?

7:13:42 > 7:13:44It was very exciting.

7:13:44 > 7:13:47Was a bit of you thinking you can't do it?

7:13:47 > 7:13:48I think there always is.

7:13:48 > 7:13:53Having seen the Golden Jubilee and how successful that was,

7:13:53 > 7:13:55I wanted to make it look different, and feel different

7:13:55 > 7:13:59and make it like ten years more improved.

7:13:59 > 7:14:02How are you going to do that?

7:14:02 > 7:14:07What we have tried to do is span it over 60 years of music,

7:14:07 > 7:14:10so we've got somebody from every decade.

7:14:10 > 7:14:14In fact, superstars such as Beatles legend Paul McCartney,

7:14:14 > 7:14:16pop diva Jessie J,

7:14:16 > 7:14:20Brit winner Ed Shearan and top boy band JLS have all agreed to perform

7:14:20 > 7:14:22at this momentous event.

7:14:22 > 7:14:26How did you get them all to perform?

7:14:26 > 7:14:28Did you have them in your phone?

7:14:28 > 7:14:32I like the idea of you being like, "JLS..."

7:14:32 > 7:14:33A few, a few, yeah.

7:14:33 > 7:14:39I knew most of the artists before this concert.

7:14:39 > 7:14:42Did anybody say no when you asked them?

7:14:42 > 7:14:47No, everybody was so up for this whole show.

7:14:47 > 7:14:50It just proves the love for the Queen that everybody

7:14:50 > 7:14:53wanted to be part of her celebration.

7:14:53 > 7:14:56With the all-star line-up secured,

7:14:56 > 7:14:59our Gary knew he had to deliver on a world-class stage,

7:14:59 > 7:15:01so the whole concert is being centred around

7:15:01 > 7:15:05the historic Victoria Memorial Fountains.

7:15:05 > 7:15:08The stage is almost a 360, which means we can have some acts

7:15:08 > 7:15:11pointing to the West, some to the north

7:15:11 > 7:15:14and some to the east.

7:15:14 > 7:15:16So the exchange of putting bands on is a lot easier.

7:15:16 > 7:15:19- Good luck with it, Gary! - Thank you very much.

7:15:19 > 7:15:20I'm sure you don't need it.

7:15:20 > 7:15:24I think we all need to pray for the weather

7:15:24 > 7:15:26because what we don't want is rain.

7:15:28 > 7:15:31We need sunshine, we need clear skies,

7:15:31 > 7:15:33that would be beautiful.

7:15:33 > 7:15:36With all the hard work going into that concert,

7:15:36 > 7:15:38I think it's going to be a massive success.

7:15:38 > 7:15:42All I need to do now is get myself some tickets. So just...

7:15:44 > 7:15:47Hello, Gary Barlow? Yes, it's Sara, hi.

7:15:47 > 7:15:50Sara Cox, I just spoke to you.

7:15:50 > 7:15:54I'm after some tickets! No? Not even...

7:15:54 > 7:15:56Well, just two, so I can bring my mum?

7:15:58 > 7:16:01The final question we sent our travelling throne to answer is,

7:16:01 > 7:16:04what are you looking forward to in 2012?

7:16:04 > 7:16:08I'm looking forward to Euro 2012 because I'm an England fan.

7:16:11 > 7:16:15This year we are looking forward to having a street party.

7:16:15 > 7:16:18I am looking forward to the Queen's Jubilee this year.

7:16:18 > 7:16:22This year I'm not looking forward to doing anything.

7:16:22 > 7:16:25I'm looking forward to the Olympics, in particular, the BMX.

7:16:25 > 7:16:29This year, I'm looking forward to actually becoming king.

7:16:29 > 7:16:31I want a castle as well!

7:16:38 > 7:16:41Every king has to have his own castle.

7:16:41 > 7:16:43That's just the rules.

7:16:43 > 7:16:45If you get a castle, you also get a crown.

7:16:45 > 7:16:48We've got to go. We have enough time to tell you about next week.

7:16:48 > 7:16:52Take a look. We will get the inside scoop on the Euro 2012 tournament

7:16:52 > 7:16:55with BBC Sport's very own Jake Humphrey. He's a nice man.

7:16:55 > 7:16:59You can find out what happens when we go on a bit of a road trip

7:16:59 > 7:17:02to the two countries hosting the European championships.

7:17:02 > 7:17:04I had to eat something not nice.

7:17:04 > 7:17:07It was gross! And as you can see, I do a bit of dancing.

7:17:07 > 7:17:10Join us live, 9 o'clock, on the CBBC Channel on Saturday morning.

7:17:10 > 7:17:13We'll be in Belfast, when the Blue Peter Big Olympic Tour continues.

7:17:13 > 7:17:16We've got a massive pop star on the show, so big, we can't tell you.

7:17:16 > 7:17:19I've thrown your hat off the balcony. Sorry! That's it from us.

7:17:19 > 7:17:23All that's left to say is - Happy Jubilee!
