7:02:36 > 7:02:37They're not just performing on Blue Peter.
7:02:37 > 7:02:41On the Sport Relief weekend they're going to be performing
7:02:41 > 7:02:44at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park attempting a world record.

7:02:49 > 7:02:51- Absolutely shattered? - Absolutely shattered.
7:02:51 > 7:02:53Can I ask you how you stared the unicycle?
7:02:53 > 7:02:55Was it a very difficult thing to learn?
7:02:55 > 7:02:58It's probably as you imagine when you think about starting a unicycle.
7:02:58 > 7:02:59No, I'm kidding.
7:02:59 > 7:03:02I really wanted just a bit of attention while I was at school
7:03:02 > 7:03:04so thought I'd try something different,
7:03:04 > 7:03:06spotted a unicycle and thought,
7:03:06 > 7:03:09"I'm man enough for this," and we went out and did it.
7:03:09 > 7:03:12As you can imagine, there's not many unicycling classes out there,
7:03:12 > 7:03:14so all of us are self-taught.
7:03:14 > 7:03:16You've performed around the world?
7:03:16 > 7:03:18That's right. We've been all over the place.
7:03:18 > 7:03:22The Middle East, Bahrain, Qatar, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
7:03:22 > 7:03:26We performed for the Olympic athletes at London 2012
7:03:26 > 7:03:28and even for Prince Charles himself.
7:03:28 > 7:03:29He was honoured.
7:03:29 > 7:03:31THEY LAUGH
7:03:31 > 7:03:33Well, actually, their performance does not stop here
7:03:33 > 7:03:34because it's over to you.
7:03:34 > 7:03:36You can decide what trick
7:03:36 > 7:03:38you'd like Team Voodoo to do later on in the show.
7:03:38 > 7:03:42You've got choice number one. That is called the Jason Jump Drop.
7:03:42 > 7:03:45Jason will jump off that platform, it's about four foot high,
7:03:45 > 7:03:47not onto the floor,
7:03:47 > 7:03:50between the legs of Rob, who will be beneath him.
7:03:50 > 7:03:54His legs will be like that. Jason will land in between them.
7:03:54 > 7:03:57Choice number one or choice number two. We call it the Balance Beam.
7:03:57 > 7:03:59They will attempt to cross a very thin pole.
7:03:59 > 7:04:01They're going to put that in place right now.
7:04:01 > 7:04:04You have the choice which one you want to vote for. Jump online.
7:04:04 > 7:04:07You've only 20 minutes to get your voting in.
7:04:07 > 7:04:09Your vote really does count.
7:04:11 > 7:04:14- Lindsey. - Yeah, I'm really excited for that.
7:04:14 > 7:04:16It's going to be a jam-packed Blue Peter.
7:04:16 > 7:04:18There's loads going on on today's show
7:04:18 > 7:04:20because we're going to be joined by TV legend,
7:04:20 > 7:04:23my favourite, Carol Kirkwood. She's going to be in the studio.
7:04:23 > 7:04:27There she is, giving me a little guide on how to do the weather live.
7:04:27 > 7:04:28I'm a bit nervous.
7:04:28 > 7:04:30Barney is not with us today, which is a shame.
7:04:30 > 7:04:31We're missing you, Barns,
7:04:31 > 7:04:35but he's on a very special Blue Peter mission, so fear not.
7:04:35 > 7:04:37And you'll see a little bit of him later on
7:04:37 > 7:04:41when he attempts to conduct a 6,000-strong school choir.
7:04:41 > 7:04:44Look how cool he looks in his little blazer. He looks lovely.
7:04:44 > 7:04:47But first let's see what happened when I took a walk on the wild side
7:04:47 > 7:04:49with my furry friends.
7:04:54 > 7:04:57This is Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire,
7:04:57 > 7:05:00and over its 3,000 acres, you can find elephants,
7:05:00 > 7:05:02white rhinos and bears.
7:05:02 > 7:05:05They're amazing, but they're not why I'm here.
7:05:09 > 7:05:13I'm here to see what I think is one of THE most stunning animals
7:05:13 > 7:05:14in the whole word -
7:05:14 > 7:05:18the Siberian Tiger, and he is right there.
7:05:19 > 7:05:21Beautiful, but incredibly rare,
7:05:21 > 7:05:24the Siberian tiger is under threat of extinction.
7:05:24 > 7:05:26They are the rarest big cats in world,
7:05:26 > 7:05:31with only around 520 left in the wild.
7:05:31 > 7:05:32So, in places like Woburn,
7:05:32 > 7:05:36the race is really on to try and save the Siberian tiger,
7:05:36 > 7:05:39which is why the next guys I'm about to meet are such great news.
7:05:41 > 7:05:45I think they're down this corridor here.
7:05:45 > 7:05:46Look at them!
7:05:46 > 7:05:47Hey guys.
7:05:49 > 7:05:52Wow! Mum is huge!
7:05:52 > 7:05:55Look at that amazing animal. Oh, look!
7:05:56 > 7:05:59Back in October, four-year-old tigress Minevra
7:05:59 > 7:06:00had two healthy cubs,
7:06:00 > 7:06:03which is great news for the world's tiger population
7:06:03 > 7:06:05and for their keeper, Chris.
7:06:06 > 7:06:08Chris, tell us more about these beautiful Siberian tigers.
7:06:08 > 7:06:12Why are they SO threatened as a species?
7:06:12 > 7:06:17Due to habitat loss and hunting for their coats and body parts.
7:06:17 > 7:06:20It's really important that we try to conserve these species.
7:06:20 > 7:06:22It's really sad, isn't it?
7:06:22 > 7:06:23Why do you keep them in here
7:06:23 > 7:06:26and how come they're not running around outside?
7:06:26 > 7:06:28For their first 12 weeks we need to keep them safe
7:06:28 > 7:06:30until they have had their full injections,
7:06:30 > 7:06:33so we keep them nice and secure in this tiger house.
7:06:34 > 7:06:35Then, in a few weeks' time,
7:06:35 > 7:06:39the cubs will be released into this nine-acre reserve.
7:06:39 > 7:06:43In the meantime, I get a chance to meet their dad, Elton.
7:06:43 > 7:06:46Elton, are you ready? I'll let him out.
7:06:46 > 7:06:47Elton, come on.
7:06:49 > 7:06:51Here we go.
7:06:51 > 7:06:52Oh!
7:06:52 > 7:06:55Off he goes.
7:06:55 > 7:06:58Five weeks later, I'm back to see the cubs released
7:06:58 > 7:07:01into their new outdoor home for the very first time.
7:07:01 > 7:07:03Hey, Chris. How are these guys getting on?
7:07:03 > 7:07:06Yeah, really good. Doing really well now.
7:07:06 > 7:07:08You can see they've grown a lot. Quite playful.
7:07:08 > 7:07:11They're weighing in at about 10-12 kilos at the moment.
7:07:11 > 7:07:13They're not feeding from mum much now at all.
7:07:13 > 7:07:17They're mainly on their meat, so we're all ready to get them out.
7:07:17 > 7:07:19Have you given them the all clear? Do you think they're ready to go?
7:07:19 > 7:07:23Yes, all clear, all ready to go, so out into their main enclosure today
7:07:23 > 7:07:26and hopefully they'll have a nice run round.
7:07:26 > 7:07:29First the cubs are moved from their den to a holding area...
7:07:31 > 7:07:33..and then there's just one gate
7:07:33 > 7:07:35between them and their new enclosure.
7:07:35 > 7:07:38And guess who's got control of the gate?
7:07:38 > 7:07:40Me. I'm so excited for this.
7:07:40 > 7:07:42Three...two...one!
7:07:45 > 7:07:49They've both gone back inside. They're nervous. Oh, here we go.
7:07:49 > 7:07:50One's gone through.
7:07:50 > 7:07:52Oh, the little shy one has gone straight through.
7:07:52 > 7:07:53Look at her go!
7:07:56 > 7:07:59You can see she's a little bit nervous.
7:07:59 > 7:08:00Go on. Follow Mum.
7:08:03 > 7:08:05To get a closer look at how they're settling in,
7:08:05 > 7:08:07I need to join Chris in the safety of the car.
7:08:11 > 7:08:14What do you think the babies are feeling at this point?
7:08:14 > 7:08:16This is quite a big day for them, isn't it?
7:08:16 > 7:08:17Yes, it's quite a big day for them.
7:08:17 > 7:08:20Obviously, in here there's completely new smells
7:08:20 > 7:08:22and things to look at and explore.
7:08:22 > 7:08:26so they're going to be excited, but also confused.
7:08:26 > 7:08:30- Will they follow Mum around?- Yes, Mum should keep good tabs on them.
7:08:30 > 7:08:32She won't want them to wander too far.
7:08:32 > 7:08:34We're going to start off gradually,
7:08:34 > 7:08:36so a few hours a day in the enclosure,
7:08:36 > 7:08:37back in the pens at night.
7:08:37 > 7:08:39It is a massive learning curve.
7:08:39 > 7:08:42It doesn't just stop now just being out for the first time today.
7:08:42 > 7:08:44But it means, over the next new weeks,
7:08:44 > 7:08:46they've got loads to learn and see.
7:08:46 > 7:08:50They seem to be trying to hunt each other. They're messing about.
7:08:50 > 7:08:53Yeah, they're doing exactly what we hoped they would do.
7:08:53 > 7:08:56Everything baby tigers should be doing.
7:08:56 > 7:09:00What a moment to witness this - to see them out and about playing,
7:09:00 > 7:09:04so happy in their new enclosure. It's really lovely.
7:09:09 > 7:09:12Oh, what an experience this has been.
7:09:12 > 7:09:14Do you know what? I have loved making this film
7:09:14 > 7:09:17because there's only about 520 Siberian tigers
7:09:17 > 7:09:19actually left in the wild,
7:09:19 > 7:09:23so these cubs that we've seen are so important for the tiger population,
7:09:23 > 7:09:25and we have been a small part of their journey.
7:09:25 > 7:09:27It's pretty cool.
7:09:27 > 7:09:30Do you know what Barney would say if he was here? "I want one."
7:09:30 > 7:09:32I think we all want one. They're so cute.
7:09:32 > 7:09:35If you want to see more tiger cub clips, they are online right now.
7:09:35 > 7:09:37Maybe look after the show -
7:09:37 > 7:09:39you can see me feeding some very cute, little cubs. It's lovely.
7:09:39 > 7:09:41Speaking of cute, look who's back, everyone -
7:09:41 > 7:09:44it's little Iggy, our four-legged friend.
7:09:44 > 7:09:48She has been super busy with her advanced guide dog training.
7:09:48 > 7:09:50We're very proud of her, aren't we, Igs?
7:09:50 > 7:09:53She has been going into shops more, she's been going on buses,
7:09:53 > 7:09:55on trains, practising all of that
7:09:55 > 7:09:56and also looking at new obstacles.
7:09:56 > 7:09:58All of these skills are important
7:09:58 > 7:10:01if she wants to keep her handler really, really safe.
7:10:01 > 7:10:03She is doing well. She's looking a bit tired today.
7:10:03 > 7:10:06She's going to be finding out who her new owner is
7:10:06 > 7:10:09in just a few weeks' time when she graduates.
7:10:09 > 7:10:10We're very excited for that.
7:10:10 > 7:10:13Make sure you keep watching Blue Peter if you want to find out
7:10:13 > 7:10:16what Iggy is up to. Iggy, shall we look at the badge wall?
7:10:16 > 7:10:17Come on, let's go.
7:10:17 > 7:10:20Let's look at it. Feast your eyes on it.
7:10:20 > 7:10:23Everybody who sent something in, you've clearly been very busy.
7:10:23 > 7:10:27It's essentially trending rays, just like Eliza from Bristol,
7:10:27 > 7:10:29whose picture is of Barney's film,
7:10:29 > 7:10:33with the baby rays in their tank and Barney saying, "I want one."
7:10:33 > 7:10:35- We miss Barney. - Oh, we do miss him today. Hello.
7:10:35 > 7:10:38Also Violet, who's ten, has sent in this.
7:10:38 > 7:10:39It's a 3-D picture,
7:10:39 > 7:10:43because she loved it when I went down those sewers.
7:10:43 > 7:10:45There I am, scraping fat off the wall.
7:10:45 > 7:10:48A real Blue Peter highlight for me.
7:10:48 > 7:10:50This picture is bringing it all back.
7:10:50 > 7:10:53Violet, thank you. It's smelly and lovely.
7:10:53 > 7:10:55Do you remember the Next Step a few weeks ago
7:10:55 > 7:10:58competed for a golden boot? This is the real golden boot.

7:11:01 > 7:11:02Look at that!
7:11:02 > 7:11:06If I turn it around, you can even see there is a Blue Peter
7:11:06 > 7:11:07badge of destiny right there.
7:11:07 > 7:11:10So, so good, Lewis. Thank you very much, my friend.
7:11:10 > 7:11:13Lately Barney did his parking ships film.
7:11:13 > 7:11:16It was very cool and Madison absolutely loved it.
7:11:16 > 7:11:18She's from North Wales. Look at this -
7:11:18 > 7:11:20you've got Barney, the massive ship there,
7:11:20 > 7:11:22and it even says, "Go, Barney, go!"
7:11:22 > 7:11:24- Yes!- We like that. "Go, Barney, go!"
7:11:24 > 7:11:25Thank you for sending that in.

7:14:46 > 7:14:49# Keep on sending us your post
7:14:49 > 7:14:51# Whoa-whoa-oh. #
7:14:51 > 7:14:54CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
7:14:56 > 7:14:57Yes!
7:14:57 > 7:15:00We made our own song!
7:15:00 > 7:15:02I'm very happy indeed.
7:15:02 > 7:15:04Now, though, it's time to talk to you about Sport Relief,
7:15:04 > 7:15:07because you might remember that last year for Comic Relief,
7:15:07 > 7:15:10online we made our very own game.
7:15:10 > 7:15:12We called it Nose Need to Panic.
7:15:12 > 7:15:14We have done it all over again for 2016 for Sport Relief.
7:15:14 > 7:15:17This one is called Geo's Gym.
7:15:17 > 7:15:19It's a little bit like brain training.
7:15:19 > 7:15:20It's an awesome game.
7:15:20 > 7:15:22You can see we've got four different fun runs.
7:15:22 > 7:15:25You can collect points. You've also got to jump over objects,
7:15:25 > 7:15:27like Hacker and Dodger, as you're seeing just there.
7:15:27 > 7:15:29There's so much to it, I really enjoyed it.
7:15:29 > 7:15:31Lindsey and myself had a go.
7:15:31 > 7:15:33Lindsey got 104. I got 724.
7:15:33 > 7:15:34I'm putting the challenge out there -
7:15:34 > 7:15:37can you beat myself and Lindsey?
7:15:37 > 7:15:40There's another way you can get involved with Sport Relief.
7:15:40 > 7:15:41That is simply by staying online
7:15:41 > 7:15:44and printing out this template we have here.
7:15:44 > 7:15:46It's about sending in sweaty socks.
7:15:46 > 7:15:49They're not real socks, we tried that,
7:15:49 > 7:15:50but Lindsey's are way too sweaty.
7:15:50 > 7:15:52So instead, we've got a template.
7:15:52 > 7:15:55If you download that, print it out, decorate it and send it into us,
7:15:55 > 7:15:58we're going do something very, very special with those indeed.
7:15:58 > 7:16:02But I'm going to keep tight-lipped for now, as I say, Lindsey.
7:16:02 > 7:16:05You may have seen on Newsround lately,
7:16:05 > 7:16:08there's been some extreme weather conditions in America.
7:16:08 > 7:16:10There's been loads of amazing pictures -
7:16:10 > 7:16:13up to 90 centimetres of snowfall in some areas,
7:16:13 > 7:16:15which is amazing. The question we want to know is
7:16:15 > 7:16:18are we going to be getting the same amount of snow in the UK?
7:16:18 > 7:16:20Hopefully. It does look very fun.
7:16:20 > 7:16:23I think someone who is going to know that is TV legend
7:16:23 > 7:16:25and weather lady, Carol Kirkwood.
7:16:25 > 7:16:26CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
7:16:26 > 7:16:28Carol!
7:16:28 > 7:16:31Hello, welcome. Good to see you.
7:16:31 > 7:16:33I like you dancing on to the Strictly music.
7:16:33 > 7:16:35- Had to be done.- Had to be done.
7:16:35 > 7:16:37We see you every morning on BBC Breakfast.
7:16:37 > 7:16:39We want to know are we going to be getting some snow?
7:16:39 > 7:16:42Some of us have already had snow this morning, Lindsey.
7:16:42 > 7:16:44But, yes, there is some more in the form of wintry showers
7:16:44 > 7:16:46for most, as far south as North Wales,
7:16:46 > 7:16:48but some more snow in Scotland.
7:16:48 > 7:16:50Well, all this talk of weather got us thinking.
7:16:50 > 7:16:52It's Blue Peter, we like having a go,
7:16:52 > 7:16:54so we thought maybe you could show us how the weather is done.
7:16:54 > 7:16:57- How does that sound? - It would be my pleasure.- Yes!
7:16:57 > 7:17:00OK, let's walk this way. We've got a massive green screen here.
7:17:00 > 7:17:02What's that all about, Carol?
7:17:02 > 7:17:04Well, this is how we present the weather.
7:17:04 > 7:17:06So we see the green screen, but the way the viewers at home
7:17:06 > 7:17:09see the weather is, our computers overlay the weather map
7:17:09 > 7:17:11onto that green screen.
7:17:11 > 7:17:12- There it is.- It is so clever.
7:17:12 > 7:17:15When you look behind you, that is all you see.
7:17:15 > 7:17:17So the way I know where I'm pointing to
7:17:17 > 7:17:20is by looking at the camera right in front of me.
7:17:20 > 7:17:22I can see everything, but in reverse.
7:17:22 > 7:17:24So what's left is right and what's right is left.
7:17:24 > 7:17:27The other thing is, everything we say is unscripted,
7:17:27 > 7:17:28it's all ad-libbed.
7:17:28 > 7:17:31And it's all live as well, so you can't make mistakes.
7:17:31 > 7:17:34- We do.- Something else you can't do is wear green, can you?
7:17:34 > 7:17:37Because you won't be seen wearing green.
7:17:37 > 7:17:39Mum, I can disappear!
7:17:39 > 7:17:40LAUGHTER
7:17:40 > 7:17:43He came out of nowhere. Radzi has some green thing there.
7:17:43 > 7:17:46- The secret was given away there. - We should do the weather like that.
7:17:46 > 7:17:49You should. You should try it. It's Blue Peter, so we thought
7:17:49 > 7:17:52you could show me exactly how the weather is done.
7:17:52 > 7:17:54But first we'd like to see you, the pro, at work.
7:17:54 > 7:17:57We've got some graphics here, a map there.
7:17:57 > 7:17:59- Do you think you could do it? - Yeah, I'd love to.
7:17:59 > 7:18:02- OK. Good luck, Carol. Take it away. - OK, well, today what we've got are
7:18:02 > 7:18:05showers across Northern Ireland - some of them will be heavy,
7:18:05 > 7:18:08but the showers across Scotland merging to give some heavier bursts
7:18:08 > 7:18:09with snow down to about 200m,
7:18:09 > 7:18:11but that snow level will rise
7:18:11 > 7:18:14as we go through the course of the day as temperatures rise.
7:18:14 > 7:18:17Across north-west England we've also got some showers merging,
7:18:17 > 7:18:18a few of them skipping over the Pennines,
7:18:18 > 7:18:20but for most, as we come south,
7:18:20 > 7:18:23it's going to be dry and fine after a frosty start.
7:18:23 > 7:18:25Some sunshine through London, not just in the morning,
7:18:25 > 7:18:29but that will prevail all the way through the course of the day too.
7:18:29 > 7:18:31APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Oh, wow!
7:18:31 > 7:18:33That is how the pros do it.
7:18:33 > 7:18:36You make that look so easy. I'm going to have a go later
7:18:36 > 7:18:39- at doing a very special Blue Peter forecast.- Lovely.- Help me.
7:18:39 > 7:18:41What top tips have you got for me?
7:18:41 > 7:18:44The best tip I can give you is how to find the right location.
7:18:44 > 7:18:46- Say we were talking about Edinburgh. - Yeah.
7:18:46 > 7:18:49You look at the camera, you see where Edinburgh is on your map,
7:18:49 > 7:18:52you put your hand on Edinburgh, and then you look at your hand
7:18:52 > 7:18:55- and it will be the right place. - Everything's the wrong way round!
7:18:55 > 7:18:57You're doing the classic, Lindsey.
7:18:57 > 7:18:59- You want to bring your hand in front of you.- Yeah!
7:18:59 > 7:19:01- Keep it behind you. - I'll have hands everywhere.
7:19:01 > 7:19:04We'll do that later - please stay and help me out.
7:19:04 > 7:19:05Carol Kirkwood, everyone.
7:19:05 > 7:19:07Thank you.
7:19:07 > 7:19:09APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Radzi, over to you.
7:19:09 > 7:19:13Now, though, it is time for Barney's epic, massive,
7:19:13 > 7:19:14HUGE musical challenge.
7:19:17 > 7:19:21- TRAILER-STYLE VOICEOVER: - 120 thousand singers.
7:19:23 > 7:19:2720 jam-packed stadium shows.
7:19:28 > 7:19:30This is Young V...
7:19:30 > 7:19:33COUGHING
7:19:33 > 7:19:36It's actually really difficult to do that voice. Can I do my own?
7:19:36 > 7:19:39Thank you. You're probably wondering why the big-time showbiz intro.
7:19:39 > 7:19:43Well, that's because Young Voices IS big-time.
7:19:43 > 7:19:44For the last 20 years, Young Voices
7:19:44 > 7:19:47has brought school choirs together from around the country
7:19:47 > 7:19:50to sing in giant arenas like this one in Birmingham.
7:19:51 > 7:19:53So a Young Voices concert
7:19:53 > 7:19:56can bring up to 8,000 people together in one room,
7:19:56 > 7:19:57and those people form a choir.
7:19:57 > 7:20:01And of course, a choir has to sing the same thing at the same time,
7:20:01 > 7:20:03all together, and that's quite a tricky thing.
7:20:03 > 7:20:06It's the job of the conductor to keep everyone performing as one,
7:20:06 > 7:20:09and that's the role I'm going to be taking on.
7:20:09 > 7:20:12I've conducted an orchestra before, so I know how difficult
7:20:12 > 7:20:14keeping everyone in time can be.
7:20:14 > 7:20:17But a symphony orchestra is around 90 musicians.
7:20:17 > 7:20:21This is a choir of 6,000, and to add to the pressure,
7:20:21 > 7:20:25I have to lead this mighty choir at a concert in Sheffield
7:20:25 > 7:20:27in just one week's time.
7:20:27 > 7:20:31So I'm straight into rehearsals with the principal conductor, David.
7:20:31 > 7:20:34# I've got the power in me
7:20:34 > 7:20:36# You've got the power in you... #
7:20:36 > 7:20:39I'm going to be stepping into David's shoes for one song,
7:20:39 > 7:20:40called Power In Me.
7:20:40 > 7:20:42When the chorus comes in, it's very energetic.
7:20:42 > 7:20:45- It is.- So we've got to be very energetic as well.
7:20:45 > 7:20:48We need to work out how I'm going to use the choir
7:20:48 > 7:20:50to really bring the music to life.
7:20:50 > 7:20:53Then you have to divide the choir into two parts -
7:20:53 > 7:20:553,000 people in part one,
7:20:55 > 7:20:573,000 people in part two.
7:20:57 > 7:20:59- # We got the power - Got the power... #
7:20:59 > 7:21:02Giving the choir different parts to sing in the chorus
7:21:02 > 7:21:04will hopefully make the song have more impact.
7:21:04 > 7:21:08As soon as we've decided how to arrange the music,
7:21:08 > 7:21:11we're joined by members of a Young Voices choir
7:21:11 > 7:21:14who know the song word for word.
7:21:14 > 7:21:16# I've got the power P-P-Power... #
7:21:16 > 7:21:18Time to try out the split section.
7:21:18 > 7:21:21# We've got the power
7:21:22 > 7:21:23# You've got the power... #
7:21:23 > 7:21:26- Oh, no!- It's OK!- It's important I get this bit right.
7:21:26 > 7:21:28'It's a lot to get my head around.'
7:21:28 > 7:21:31- # We've got the power - Got the power
7:21:31 > 7:21:32# We've got the power... #
7:21:32 > 7:21:35But with a bit of practice, we get it right.
7:21:35 > 7:21:37# ..the power in me. #
7:21:37 > 7:21:38How did he do, everybody?
7:21:38 > 7:21:40CHILDREN CLAP
7:21:41 > 7:21:43That was actually quite tough,
7:21:43 > 7:21:46and that was only with 30 children in a choir.
7:21:46 > 7:21:49In just a week's time I've got to learn that song so well
7:21:49 > 7:21:52that I can conduct 6,000 children.
7:21:52 > 7:21:55And it's not going to be in a little back room.
7:21:55 > 7:21:58It's going to be in an arena like this.
7:21:58 > 7:22:00- SCREAMING - Help!
7:22:08 > 7:22:11'It's performance day in Sheffield.' How we all doing?
7:22:11 > 7:22:13'And I have just one rehearsal
7:22:13 > 7:22:16'to get used to conducting my choir of thousands.'
7:22:16 > 7:22:18SINGING
7:22:18 > 7:22:22It starts really well, and I'm feeling great.
7:22:24 > 7:22:26Yes!
7:22:26 > 7:22:28'But with so many singers,
7:22:28 > 7:22:31'I need to show them exactly when to start each verse,
7:22:31 > 7:22:33'and I'm not clear enough in one section.'
7:22:37 > 7:22:39OK. Let's stop there.
7:22:39 > 7:22:41A bit quiet - is that my fault?
7:22:41 > 7:22:43There is something more you can do to help us -
7:22:43 > 7:22:47show us a great big lead, a great big impulse a beat before they sing.
7:22:47 > 7:22:49Well, there you have it. That was the first rehearsal.
7:22:49 > 7:22:52Er...it's actually really hard to know what to say,
7:22:52 > 7:22:54because that's the only chance I've got now
7:22:54 > 7:22:55to get it right with our choir
7:22:55 > 7:22:57before we do the live performance later on.
7:22:57 > 7:23:00'So I spend the next few hours practising.'
7:23:00 > 7:23:02HE SINGS UNDER HIS BREATH
7:23:03 > 7:23:06'But I also get some feedback from members of the choir.'
7:23:06 > 7:23:09It's OK to be nervous because you're just really excited.
7:23:09 > 7:23:10I guess it gives you more energy,
7:23:10 > 7:23:13if you're nervous, makes you perform more.
7:23:13 > 7:23:16- Try and add more actions, just more...- More actions.
7:23:16 > 7:23:18So even the bit like, "No-one's gonna..."
7:23:18 > 7:23:20- Yeah.- All those bits.
7:23:20 > 7:23:23Great advice. But the time for talking is over.
7:23:23 > 7:23:27All that's left is the lonely walk from dressing room to stage.
7:23:30 > 7:23:32It's showtime.
7:23:32 > 7:23:35- ANNOUNCER:- ..Barney from Blue Peter!
7:23:35 > 7:23:37SCREAMING
7:23:39 > 7:23:43# When the race is nearly done And I feel I can't go on... #
7:23:43 > 7:23:46So far, so good. The choir are following my lead,
7:23:46 > 7:23:48and they are sounding awesome.
7:23:49 > 7:23:52# I've got the power in me
7:23:52 > 7:23:54# You've got the power in you
7:23:54 > 7:23:55# I've got the... #
7:23:55 > 7:23:58But I've still got to try and make the tricky split parts work.
7:23:58 > 7:24:01- # We've got the power - Got the power
7:24:01 > 7:24:04- # We've got the power - Got the power... #
7:24:04 > 7:24:08It goes perfectly, and I can finally start to relax.
7:24:10 > 7:24:13# I've got the power in me
7:24:13 > 7:24:16# You've got the power in you I've got the power... #
7:24:16 > 7:24:19Standing on the podium conducting 6,000 children
7:24:19 > 7:24:21is sending shivers down my spine.
7:24:21 > 7:24:23It's been truly inspiring
7:24:23 > 7:24:27to be part of this amazing, magical musical night.
7:24:27 > 7:24:33# ..I've got the power in me. #
7:24:33 > 7:24:36CHEERING AND SCREAMING
7:24:36 > 7:24:38APPLAUSE IN STUDIO
7:24:40 > 7:24:42How awesome was that?
7:24:42 > 7:24:45Carol, you've been giving Lindsey some tips while we watched that.
7:24:45 > 7:24:48Do you think she has what it takes to be a BBC forecaster?
7:24:48 > 7:24:51I absolutely do. I think she'll be brilliant.
7:24:51 > 7:24:53She's got so much energy, and she's passionate,
7:24:53 > 7:24:56- so yes, I think she'll be great. - It's time to find out.
7:24:56 > 7:24:58- Are you up for doing Strictly-style judging?- Definitely.
7:24:58 > 7:25:01- Take your place over there. - Thank you.
7:25:01 > 7:25:04So here we have my friend Lindsey Russell
7:25:04 > 7:25:06in her BBC Forecasting debut.
7:25:07 > 7:25:09Oh, dear. We're live. Here we go.
7:25:09 > 7:25:12This is the Blue Peter weather.
7:25:12 > 7:25:15And as you can see, just up here
7:25:15 > 7:25:17there's going to be periods of really high pressure in Donaghadee -
7:25:17 > 7:25:20that's where I'll be starting my Sport Relief challenge.
7:25:20 > 7:25:23We can't tell you more than that, but it will be revealed next week
7:25:23 > 7:25:25so make sure that you're watching.
7:25:25 > 7:25:28What is this hamster ball here all about, I hear you ask?
7:25:28 > 7:25:30You will find out. And as we whisk over this way,
7:25:30 > 7:25:34there's going to be whirlwinds generated in the north-west,
7:25:34 > 7:25:36I believe is where we are,
7:25:36 > 7:25:38especially at the National Cycling Centre
7:25:38 > 7:25:40where Barney and Radzi are going head to head again.
7:25:40 > 7:25:43And we're already off to the north-east
7:25:43 > 7:25:45where there's going to be some wild weather
7:25:45 > 7:25:47as our Wolfblood winner... Oh, this is really hard!
7:25:47 > 7:25:50..takes on a new challenge, and she's going to be in the new series.
7:25:50 > 7:25:53Down here in Buckinghamshire - oh, I got it! -
7:25:53 > 7:25:56the heat is on as Barney takes on a pancake-tossing race.
7:25:56 > 7:25:58Make sure you do not miss that.
7:25:58 > 7:26:02And now we're going to go across the sea, that way, to Germany,
7:26:02 > 7:26:05with some gravity-defying observations
7:26:05 > 7:26:07as Barney chats to astronaut Tim Peake.
7:26:07 > 7:26:11It's all going to be great. And we just had an official warning in...
7:26:11 > 7:26:13I feel like someone's there.
7:26:13 > 7:26:15..saying that you should stay in every Thursday
7:26:15 > 7:26:17- and watch Blue Peter!- Linds!
7:26:17 > 7:26:18I disappeared!
7:26:18 > 7:26:19That was really hard!
7:26:19 > 7:26:21You absolutely smashed that.
7:26:21 > 7:26:24Let's find out what Carol thinks. Carol, the scores, please!
7:26:24 > 7:26:27The judges' scores are in.
7:26:27 > 7:26:29Carol Kirkwood.
7:26:29 > 7:26:30Well, I thought Lindsey was brilliant.
7:26:30 > 7:26:32She went out there, she gave it her all,
