0:00:59 > 0:01:01- She's a legend.- She might be slightly mad.
0:01:01 > 0:01:04She is. Somebody who isn't quite so mad is Shelley.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43- APPLAUSE - Yes, that's what I'm talking about!
0:01:43 > 0:01:46- Nigel, come on in.- Hey, thanks for having us.- Thanks for being here.
0:01:46 > 0:01:49Let's talk about Stomp. You guys have been going for 26 years.
0:01:49 > 0:01:53Yes, it's been quite a while. We've been to quite a few countries,
0:01:53 > 0:01:55been touring internationally,
0:01:55 > 0:01:58seeing the whole world, taking our dustbins everywhere.
0:01:58 > 0:02:00So the world's seen you, but for anyone that hasn't,
0:02:00 > 0:02:02- what's it all about? - For someone who doesn't know,
0:02:02 > 0:02:04it's about making music with everyday objects.
0:02:04 > 0:02:07We take things you find in the house or in the junkyard
0:02:07 > 0:02:10and we bring them together in unison and create music with it.
0:02:10 > 0:02:13- It is wicked.- Nigel, you're not just the best TV presenter
0:02:13 > 0:02:14I've ever worked with over the years,
0:02:14 > 0:02:17but you're also the Stomping sensation that is Nigel Clarke,
0:02:17 > 0:02:20so who better to teach us how to make a rhythm.
0:02:20 > 0:02:22It's BBC Music Day, it's Blue Peter, can we give it a go?
0:02:22 > 0:02:23You can definitely give it a go.
0:02:23 > 0:02:25I'm excited for this.
0:02:25 > 0:02:27Daniella's got some objects here.
0:02:27 > 0:02:31Pick an object and then we'll make some...
0:02:31 > 0:02:35- Go on.- Can I go with that?
0:02:35 > 0:02:37Yeah, go for it.
0:02:37 > 0:02:41- OK, I think we'll get the audience to help us out.- Absolutely, yeah.
0:02:41 > 0:02:43So if you guys can clap like this,
0:02:43 > 0:02:45we're going to clap on the two and the four.
0:02:45 > 0:02:47One, two, three, four.
0:02:47 > 0:02:49One.
0:02:49 > 0:02:51Nice.
0:02:51 > 0:02:54- You keep that. Barney.- Yes, mate.
0:02:54 > 0:02:56I want you to go and one, and one.
0:02:59 > 0:03:03Lindsey, ready? Ding ding-ding, ding-ding-ding.
0:03:06 > 0:03:08Radzi, off beat.
0:03:14 > 0:03:16Faster.
0:03:22 > 0:03:24One, two,
0:03:24 > 0:03:27One, two, three, four.
0:03:27 > 0:03:29I've broken the mug!
0:03:29 > 0:03:31APPLAUSE I've broken the mug!
0:03:32 > 0:03:35Did you realise they were at the end of the track, that was a lovely...
0:03:35 > 0:03:37You were getting excited, weren't you?
0:03:37 > 0:03:39That was a smashing performance!
0:03:39 > 0:03:40Come on! Yeah!
0:03:40 > 0:03:43Nigel, thank you so much for coming in.
0:03:43 > 0:03:45Stomp, give yourselves a round of applause.
0:03:45 > 0:03:47APPLAUSE
0:03:47 > 0:03:49Make sure you keep watching as well, cos there's even more of that
0:03:49 > 0:03:51at the end of the show. I'm so sorry, Nige.
0:03:51 > 0:03:54Last year, Radzi and Lindsey took on one of the most difficult
0:03:54 > 0:03:55Blue Peter challenges ever.
0:03:55 > 0:03:57I've tried this myself and it's very, very difficult.
0:03:57 > 0:04:00It's now time to find out how Lindsey and Radzi got on.
0:04:05 > 0:04:08Wow. Oh, goodness, Radzi. What are you doing?
0:04:08 > 0:04:11- It's challenge time, Linds, and I am ready!- I can see that.
0:04:11 > 0:04:13Why are you wearing that? I don't think we're getting changed
0:04:13 > 0:04:17till later, plus we haven't actually said what the challenge is.
0:04:17 > 0:04:19You mean I didn't have to wear this on the way here?
0:04:19 > 0:04:22I did think people were noticing me.
0:04:22 > 0:04:25Anyway, the reason Radzi is wearing this
0:04:25 > 0:04:28is because we're about to do this!
0:04:30 > 0:04:33That's right, we're going to try wing walking,
0:04:33 > 0:04:37which involves standing on the wings of a plane whilst it's in mid-air.
0:04:38 > 0:04:40And helping us do that is the world's only
0:04:40 > 0:04:43formation wing walking display team.
0:04:46 > 0:04:49Three words, my friends - bring it on.
0:04:54 > 0:04:57We're going to attempt a classic manoeuvre - the loop the loop.
0:04:57 > 0:05:00We will each be strapped to a plane...
0:05:00 > 0:05:01Really tight in those.
0:05:01 > 0:05:03..and whilst flying in formation,
0:05:03 > 0:05:06we'll perform a perfect loop in the sky.
0:05:08 > 0:05:10THEY SCREAM
0:05:12 > 0:05:18As we hit take-off speed, the noise is just unbelievable.
0:05:18 > 0:05:23And a 150 mph wind does pretty strange things to our faces.
0:05:25 > 0:05:28It's time for our pilots to begin the loop.
0:05:29 > 0:05:32They start by diving the planes to help us gain speed.
0:05:37 > 0:05:39Then we begin to climb.
0:05:45 > 0:05:47SCREAMING
0:05:58 > 0:06:02That was the best thing I've ever done in my life!
0:06:02 > 0:06:05I feel like I genuinely need to come to terms with...
0:06:05 > 0:06:06Wow. I'm lost for words.
0:06:06 > 0:06:10I'm not usually lost for words. I'm properly lost for words.
0:06:10 > 0:06:14I have never genuinely in my whole Blue Peter career,
0:06:14 > 0:06:17I have never been that terrified, excited, happy.
0:06:17 > 0:06:19- All the emotions. - Everything at once.- Yeah.
0:06:19 > 0:06:22- That's why it's a BP challenge. - We've done it. Challenge over!
0:06:24 > 0:06:27You didn't think that was the challenge, did you?
0:06:27 > 0:06:28What?
0:06:30 > 0:06:32What you're actually here for today is to take on
0:06:32 > 0:06:35Blue Peter's iconic wing walking challenge.
0:06:35 > 0:06:39You must pass a one metre baton to each other while strapped
0:06:39 > 0:06:40to the wings of two planes.
0:06:40 > 0:06:43Oh, and Lindsey, you're the one going upside down.
0:06:43 > 0:06:44This is a ridiculous challenge.
0:06:44 > 0:06:48I watched this challenge when we used to watch Blue Peter growing up
0:06:48 > 0:06:50and they've always failed, so now the pressure's on.
0:06:50 > 0:06:53Third time lucky, and you know what will help?
0:06:53 > 0:06:55- What?- Happy dance as I walk off!
0:06:55 > 0:06:57No!
0:06:57 > 0:07:01Can we succeed? If we can, it will be with the help
0:07:01 > 0:07:03of our pilots, Martin and Dave.
0:07:03 > 0:07:07So, guys, how exactly are we going to do this? How does it work?
0:07:07 > 0:07:13Basically, we are going to fly two vintage biplanes in formation.
0:07:13 > 0:07:17We're going to fly one above the other in perfect alignment,
0:07:17 > 0:07:20and then as we're there, you are going to be standing
0:07:20 > 0:07:25on the wing and passing that baton across to Radzi.
0:07:25 > 0:07:27OK.
0:07:28 > 0:07:30I will not be calm, by the way.
0:07:33 > 0:07:36I'll be honest. I've done a lot of Blue Peter challenges,
0:07:36 > 0:07:38but there's a difference with this one,
0:07:38 > 0:07:40because this one isn't on my own.
0:07:40 > 0:07:43I've got to do this and work as a team with Radzi,
0:07:43 > 0:07:47and I really, really, really don't want to let him down.
0:07:47 > 0:07:50We only have around three attempts to get this right,
0:07:50 > 0:07:53because there's a limit to the number of times
0:07:53 > 0:07:56that I can hold the baton up in 120 mph wind.
0:07:56 > 0:08:00- Blue Peter history!- Let's do it. - Let's do it!
0:08:03 > 0:08:05Once in the air,
0:08:05 > 0:08:08Martin and Dave begin to manoeuvre us into position
0:08:08 > 0:08:10for our first attempt.
0:08:13 > 0:08:16They need to be so exact in their flying.
0:08:20 > 0:08:25We swoop into position, trying to match the speed of Lindsey's plane.
0:08:27 > 0:08:29We're just not close enough.
0:08:37 > 0:08:39We line up for our second try.
0:08:45 > 0:08:48We're definitely closer. Are we going to do it?
0:08:48 > 0:08:50Come on!
0:08:50 > 0:08:52No!
0:08:52 > 0:08:55I just don't know if we're ever going to get this right.
0:08:58 > 0:09:02I'm starting to struggle. My arms are in agony.
0:09:02 > 0:09:03This is our last chance.
0:09:06 > 0:09:09I wait until the last second and then hold the baton
0:09:09 > 0:09:11as high as I possibly can.
0:09:16 > 0:09:20Every inch of me is willing us to get closer, just come on!
0:09:23 > 0:09:24And then...
0:09:28 > 0:09:29Yes!
0:09:29 > 0:09:31We've done it!
0:09:48 > 0:09:50We did it!
0:09:50 > 0:09:53Hands down, the best day of my life.
0:09:53 > 0:09:55Can we just say, that was down
0:09:55 > 0:09:58to these absolutely legendary pilots, Dave and Martin.
0:09:58 > 0:10:03What skill, what control! Blue Peter history!
0:10:04 > 0:10:06APPLAUSE Blue Peter history indeed.
0:10:06 > 0:10:09What a day. Somebody else who has made history lately
0:10:09 > 0:10:10is Mollie Hughes.
0:10:10 > 0:10:12APPLAUSE
0:10:12 > 0:10:14Mollie, welcome to Blue Peter. Congratulations,
0:10:14 > 0:10:16because we last caught up in March.
0:10:16 > 0:10:19You took me for a spot of ice-climbing, which was very fun.
0:10:19 > 0:10:21This was as you were training to climb Everest
0:10:21 > 0:10:23for the second time.
0:10:23 > 0:10:26We set you a bit of a Blue Peter challenge, didn't we?
0:10:26 > 0:10:28Yes, absolutely. You guys asked me to take this badge here
0:10:28 > 0:10:31to the top of the world, and I did on 16th May.
0:10:31 > 0:10:33- We got up to the summit. - Look at this picture!
0:10:33 > 0:10:35There you are on the summit with the BP badge.
0:10:35 > 0:10:37You really are a legend, you're amazing.
0:10:37 > 0:10:39But you didn't stop there. Not only that,
0:10:39 > 0:10:41you actually got a world record as well, is that right?
0:10:41 > 0:10:44Yeah, so, from doing this trip, climbing from the north
0:10:44 > 0:10:46to the south side, I'm now the youngest woman
0:10:46 > 0:10:47to climb from both sides.
0:10:47 > 0:10:51I think that deserves a round of applause. That is unbelievable.
0:10:51 > 0:10:53CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
0:10:53 > 0:10:55Amazing! So how did you do it?
0:10:55 > 0:10:57How do you manage to take on a challenge like that?
0:10:57 > 0:11:00It takes a lot of physical effort and a lot of determination.
0:11:00 > 0:11:02You've got to really want to get up there and get to the top.
0:11:02 > 0:11:04It took seven weeks to get to the top,
0:11:04 > 0:11:06and just a few days to get back down again.
0:11:06 > 0:11:09Hang on, how does it take so long to go up
0:11:09 > 0:11:11and no time at all to come back down?
0:11:11 > 0:11:13It's all because of something called acclimatisation.
0:11:13 > 0:11:15So on Everest, because it's so high,
0:11:15 > 0:11:188,848 metres above sea level,
0:11:18 > 0:11:21we really slowly let our bodies adapt to this altitude and
0:11:21 > 0:11:24- this lack of oxygen.- OK. So how does that feel?
0:11:24 > 0:11:25Are you really out of breath and faint?
0:11:25 > 0:11:28Absolutely, so a lot of the time, you feel very out of breath,
0:11:28 > 0:11:31but the main thing is you move really slowly,
0:11:31 > 0:11:34- you can see from this clip.- I can. Mollie, I didn't want to make fun
0:11:34 > 0:11:37of you earlier but you're really taking your time with that one!
0:11:37 > 0:11:39Yeah, just a couple of steps and then you stop and catch your breath.
0:11:39 > 0:11:41- A couple more steps.- Amazing.
0:11:41 > 0:11:44And you actually had to wear a special device?
0:11:44 > 0:11:46Absolutely, we wear oxygen masks,
0:11:46 > 0:11:49which is an oxygen cylinder and a rucksack
0:11:49 > 0:11:51and that just helps with the lack of oxygen.
0:11:51 > 0:11:54OK, and is it true that the North side is harder than the South?
0:11:54 > 0:11:56- Erm, yeah, I would say so.- Ha!
0:11:56 > 0:11:59"I would say so, I've done both, I know!"
0:11:59 > 0:12:02It's mainly because of that altitude, you spend more time
0:12:02 > 0:12:05above 8,000 metres in what's known as the death zone.
0:12:05 > 0:12:08- It doesn't sound like a very nice place, does it?- Lovely(!)
0:12:08 > 0:12:09"The death zone."
0:12:09 > 0:12:12But up there, there's a third less oxygen than there is down here,
0:12:12 > 0:12:15so we really have to wear the oxygen mask up there.
0:12:15 > 0:12:18And you're really up against it with the elements because it is
0:12:18 > 0:12:21very windy as well. What's camping like up there?
0:12:21 > 0:12:24It's super windy and especially at night-time, when it's really windy.
0:12:24 > 0:12:26Look at that! You're about to lose your tent!
0:12:26 > 0:12:29Yes, that was on the descent, the winds just picked up completely.
0:12:29 > 0:12:31And at night, when you're camping,
0:12:31 > 0:12:34it could be -20, -25, it's pretty cold.
0:12:34 > 0:12:37Wait, how did you shower? How did you wash?
0:12:37 > 0:12:39- Erm, we didn't shower much. - How many times?
0:12:39 > 0:12:40I think maybe three times.
0:12:40 > 0:12:44- In seven weeks?!- Yeah, I think so. - Have you showered today?
0:12:44 > 0:12:46No, you do smell divine. Don't worry, she showered today.
0:12:46 > 0:12:49And you actually reached the summit in the dark?
0:12:49 > 0:12:50That must have been terrifying.
0:12:50 > 0:12:53Well, we leave camp in the dark and it's mainly because the ice
0:12:53 > 0:12:56and the snow is more solid and stuck together.
0:12:56 > 0:13:00- And also, it means we get to the top when the sun just rises.- OK.
0:13:00 > 0:13:02So the views from the top were just incredible.
0:13:02 > 0:13:06And there is you at the top. You are an absolute legend.
0:13:06 > 0:13:09We here at Blue Peter are genuinely so, so proud of you,
0:13:09 > 0:13:10- aren't we, guys? ALL:- Yes!
0:13:10 > 0:13:13Amazing effort! But before you climb your next mountain,
0:13:13 > 0:13:16would you like to come and see the post on the big badge wall?
0:13:16 > 0:13:18- I'd love to, let's go for it. - Let's do it!
0:13:18 > 0:13:20Don't slip down this mountain, come on! Careful.
0:13:20 > 0:13:22Just to make you feel more comfortable as well, Moll,
0:13:22 > 0:13:25we've managed to get our special effects guys in to get some
0:13:25 > 0:13:26rain down here as well for you.
0:13:26 > 0:13:29And if you just want to enjoy that, that's a lovely ice cream.
0:13:29 > 0:13:33It's a unicorn ice cream. Maisie sent that to us cos I made that
0:13:33 > 0:13:35on the show a few weeks ago. Maisie, congratulations,
0:13:35 > 0:13:37you've got yourself your very own Blue Peter badge.
0:13:37 > 0:13:39No need to eat it, it's wool. OK. Just so you know.
0:13:39 > 0:13:41And talking of wool, later on in the show,
0:13:41 > 0:13:44you'll get to see me take on the Tetbury wool sack race.
0:13:44 > 0:13:47Now, Eliza was actually there.
0:13:47 > 0:13:49Although we haven't shown you the film yet,
0:13:49 > 0:13:53- she sent in this fantastic model. - Shall I do it?- Please do.- Ready?
0:13:53 > 0:13:56The support I had on that day was fantastic.
0:13:56 > 0:13:59Eliza, thank you so much, you've got yourself a blue badge.
0:13:59 > 0:14:01Mollie, let's take a look at this. What have we got?
0:14:01 > 0:14:04So, it's from Catherine and she sent this in especially for me.
0:14:04 > 0:14:06It's pretty cool, it's got me and you can move me up
0:14:06 > 0:14:10- and down the mountain. - Oh, goodness!- With my badge!
0:14:10 > 0:14:13- How amazing is that?- And Catherine's got herself a silver badge for this.
0:14:13 > 0:14:15Catherine, congratulations, that's on its way to you

0:14:47 > 0:14:50- There you go, all you've got to do is climb Everest to get one.- Twice.
0:14:50 > 0:14:52- Twice, of course, yes. Well done.- Thank you.

0:14:55 > 0:14:57that, but you've got to enter a competition.
0:14:57 > 0:15:00Would you like to see what it's all about? OK then, roll it, Martin.
0:15:06 > 0:15:09Codes.
0:15:09 > 0:15:12For thousands of years they've been protecting the information we
0:15:12 > 0:15:15want to keep safe. Codes are everywhere.
0:15:15 > 0:15:19And codes have gone from fact to fiction, with some of our
0:15:19 > 0:15:23most loved spy stories revolving around breaking codes.
0:15:23 > 0:15:28In fact, I know one author who loves them more than most.
0:15:28 > 0:15:31Hello, I'm Anthony Horowitz, the author of the Alex Rider series,
0:15:31 > 0:15:34as well as books about James Bond and Sherlock Holmes.
0:15:34 > 0:15:37Yes, Anthony has teamed up with Blue Peter to bring you an
0:15:37 > 0:15:39incredible competition.
0:15:39 > 0:15:42He's created a code that he wants you to break
0:15:42 > 0:15:46and if you can do it, he's got another challenge for you.
0:15:46 > 0:15:49We want YOU to create a super villain
0:15:49 > 0:15:51with a cool name and a unique feature
0:15:51 > 0:15:53that will make them memorable.
0:15:53 > 0:15:55The winner will get the chance to hang out with Anthony for
0:15:55 > 0:15:59an incredible spy adventure. And that's not all.
0:15:59 > 0:16:03I'll write YOU into my latest Alex Rider adventure, Never Say Die.
0:16:03 > 0:16:05YOUR name in MY paperback.
0:16:07 > 0:16:10All the details of how to enter are on the Blue Peter website,
0:16:10 > 0:16:14so, crack the code, invent a villain and your name could live
0:16:14 > 0:16:17forever in the pages of history.
0:16:19 > 0:16:21You just jumped off your chair and went, "I want to do this!"
0:16:21 > 0:16:23Didn't you? Well, if you do, it's very simple,
0:16:23 > 0:16:26head to the Blue Peter website, download the form
0:16:26 > 0:16:28and then do three things.
0:16:28 > 0:16:30Thing number one, you've got to crack the code.
0:16:30 > 0:16:33Now, Anthony Horowitz does say it appears to be tricky but it's
0:16:33 > 0:16:35a lot easier than you think.
0:16:35 > 0:16:37Thing number two, you've got to come up with a villain.
0:16:37 > 0:16:41Give it/him/her, whatever it is, a name, and then tell us
0:16:41 > 0:16:44- all about them.- That's my favourite thing you've ever done on telly.
0:16:44 > 0:16:49Thing number three, include your full name and spell it correctly
0:16:49 > 0:16:53because if you win, that name will be in the latest Alex Rider book.
0:16:53 > 0:16:55Unbelievable!
0:16:55 > 0:16:57Closing date is 29th June, 12 noon,
0:16:57 > 0:17:00make sure when you get in touch you put the right details,
0:17:00 > 0:17:03and make sure it's the right size of stamp for the envelope.
0:17:03 > 0:17:06If it's this big, you need a big stamp. It's that simple, really. OK?
0:17:06 > 0:17:09What?! I hope we have been very clear on what you need to do.
0:17:09 > 0:17:11I'm sure we have.
0:17:11 > 0:17:13Big envelope, big stamp, send it in, you might get disqualified.
0:17:13 > 0:17:16Recently, I took part in the challenge, essentially...
0:17:16 > 0:17:19- In fact, leave.- That was awful. - Just me and you chatting now.
0:17:19 > 0:17:22Recently, I took part in a challenge fit for a superhero.
0:17:22 > 0:17:25I didn't put a cape on, I put 27 kilos of wool
0:17:25 > 0:17:28and tried to walk up a hill. It was hard.
0:17:31 > 0:17:36Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Tetbury Woolsack Race,
0:17:36 > 0:17:39a stunning display of athletic ability run every year in
0:17:39 > 0:17:42a small village in Gloucestershire.
0:17:42 > 0:17:45It just so happens it involves huge sacks of wool.
0:17:46 > 0:17:52When I HERD about this un-EWE-sual event, I thought, "Ba-a-ah!"
0:17:52 > 0:17:54No-one's going to pull the WOOL over my eyes!
0:17:54 > 0:17:58I'd better JUMPER to it! I'll stop now. I'm going to stop.
0:17:58 > 0:18:00Ah, sheep gags...
0:18:00 > 0:18:03The aim of the game is to run as fast as you can through the
0:18:03 > 0:18:07village, up a hill, carrying 27 kilos of wool.
0:18:08 > 0:18:13Un-BA-A-A-AH-lievable. Another sheep joke! Ha!
0:18:13 > 0:18:15"But why?", I hear you ask.
0:18:15 > 0:18:19Well... Actually, I've got no idea. Cue the history bit.
0:18:21 > 0:18:24For hundreds of years, Tetbury has been known for its excellent wool.
0:18:24 > 0:18:28And it's thought local men used to impress ladies
0:18:28 > 0:18:32with how fast they could carry it. And who wouldn't be impressed?
0:18:32 > 0:18:37In 1972, that tradition was turned into an official race.
0:18:37 > 0:18:40Now, I've been invited to take part.
0:18:44 > 0:18:49With no training or preparation, I should probably warm up.
0:18:49 > 0:18:52But it only takes five seconds of slow-mo shots for me to realise
0:18:52 > 0:18:56this sack is very heavy and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
0:18:59 > 0:19:02Thankfully, though, I've bumped into current women's record holder,
0:19:02 > 0:19:04Lucy and some of her friends.
0:19:04 > 0:19:06Ladies, you are the perfect people to speak to.
0:19:06 > 0:19:08How on earth do I do this?
0:19:08 > 0:19:11Erm, I think picking up the bag is the most important thing.
0:19:11 > 0:19:14You've got to get a really good grip and make sure it sits right
0:19:14 > 0:19:15on your shoulders.
0:19:15 > 0:19:17If it's too far forward, it's going to hammer your legs.
0:19:17 > 0:19:20So getting that right is pretty crucial, I think.
0:19:20 > 0:19:21Yeah, and climbing up,
0:19:21 > 0:19:23I think you've just got to go slow and steady.
0:19:23 > 0:19:26I think...too quick out of the blocks and then by the time you hit
0:19:26 > 0:19:29the actual hill, you've lost it, so just a slow, steady pace.
0:19:29 > 0:19:31Pacing, yeah, definitely pacing.
0:19:31 > 0:19:34Bit of a tip, to kind of bounce it off your knee and
0:19:34 > 0:19:36then just try to get as much grip as you can because otherwise
0:19:36 > 0:19:39- your hands are going to slip off. - So, here, up...
0:19:39 > 0:19:43- Bounce it off your knee. And then... - Over the head, wow!
0:19:43 > 0:19:46- Exactly!- Not bad!- Well done! - Do you know what?
0:19:46 > 0:19:48This is a game changer because I was going to go lengthways but you're
0:19:48 > 0:19:50going diagonal.
0:19:50 > 0:19:53Definitely go diagonal cos then you can breathe, you can keep your
0:19:53 > 0:19:55neck sort of straight, so you can actually get air in.
0:19:55 > 0:19:58What could possibly go wrong, eh? See you guys out there!
0:20:00 > 0:20:03As well as a women's event, there's a team and a men's competition
0:20:03 > 0:20:06but before all that, it's the juniors' turn.
0:20:06 > 0:20:09And these guys aren't messing around.
0:20:10 > 0:20:13- Three, two, one... - KLAXON SOUNDS
0:20:13 > 0:20:16Off they go! I mean, check that out.
0:20:16 > 0:20:19If I could get anywhere near that, I'd be very happy indeed.
0:20:19 > 0:20:22Maybe THEY could give me some top tips.
0:20:22 > 0:20:27- You have just run the wool sack race. How was it?- Wet!
0:20:27 > 0:20:30- Rather wet.- Really fun but I thought I might slip when I was coming up.
0:20:30 > 0:20:34It was really exciting and the support was really amazing.
0:20:34 > 0:20:38I found it very fun but very exhausting at the same time.
0:20:38 > 0:20:41Do you have a piece of advice for me? Anything that might help me?
0:20:41 > 0:20:44Find your pace to go up the hill and when you get further up,
0:20:44 > 0:20:46start getting faster and faster.
0:20:46 > 0:20:49Make sure you have a good grip on the sack and don't try and readjust
0:20:49 > 0:20:52it cos you could drop it then.
0:20:52 > 0:20:54Kind of lean over because then you're in more of
0:20:54 > 0:20:57a streamlined position, so you'll go faster.
0:20:57 > 0:21:01Fives! They're awesome. Now, that's what I call advice.
0:21:01 > 0:21:06But just as I'm gearing myself up for it, the heavens open!
0:21:06 > 0:21:09Which will make things even trickier.
0:21:09 > 0:21:14They wool sack will be heavier and both the sack and floor slippier.
0:21:14 > 0:21:16- Race four is Radzi! - HE MOUTHS SILENTLY
0:21:16 > 0:21:18This is the last thing I need but hey,
0:21:18 > 0:21:22this is Blue Peter and I'm not letting a little bit of water
0:21:22 > 0:21:24stop me. To the start line!
0:21:25 > 0:21:27- ALL:- Go, Radzi!
0:21:27 > 0:21:30OK, just remember, everyone's advice.
0:21:30 > 0:21:34- Find your pace to go up the hill. - Try and get as much grip as you can.
0:21:34 > 0:21:36Kind of lean over.
0:21:36 > 0:21:39Wise words, they were. But can I put it into practice?
0:21:39 > 0:21:44- On your marks, get set, go! - Come on, Radzi! And we're off!
0:21:44 > 0:21:47This is a challenge just to stay on my feet.
0:21:47 > 0:21:51But this is the hill. This is where the legs start to burn.
0:21:51 > 0:21:54CHEERING AND SHOUTING
0:21:54 > 0:21:58The crowd support means so much, I cannot let them down.
0:21:58 > 0:22:01My legs are burning, my lungs are burning,
0:22:01 > 0:22:03but I will cross the finish line.
0:22:05 > 0:22:07Ah! That was hard.
0:22:10 > 0:22:16In case you're wondering, that was really very, very tiring.
0:22:17 > 0:22:22The all-time record is an incredible 45 seconds, but how did I do?
0:22:22 > 0:22:27Radzi, Blue Peter presenter, one minute, 10 seconds, 34.
0:22:27 > 0:22:31I tried my best to beat the guy in front of me but I didn't win,
0:22:31 > 0:22:34I didn't break any records, but what I did do was I had a fantastic time.
0:22:34 > 0:22:36And his crowd, by the way, are awesome,
0:22:36 > 0:22:38cheering you on all the way.
0:22:38 > 0:22:40And who did I do it for? I did it for this thing.
0:22:40 > 0:22:43The Blue Peter badge.
0:22:43 > 0:22:46Now, I need a towel because my hair is very wet.
0:22:48 > 0:22:49Amazing.
0:22:49 > 0:22:52Unforgettable day, but thank you so much for everyone who came
0:22:52 > 0:22:54out and supported me, it meant the world.
0:22:54 > 0:22:56Mate, it's an absolute pleasure to be on TV with you today.
0:22:56 > 0:22:58Just saying, that was an award-winning link.
0:22:58 > 0:23:00Now, though, it's time to dance and bang everything
0:23:00 > 0:23:03you've got in front of you. It's time for an amazing performance
0:23:03 > 0:23:06- from Stomp! - CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
0:23:08 > 0:23:12LOUD DRUMMING
0:26:20 > 0:26:24- CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Wow!- So good!
0:26:24 > 0:26:26THAT is what I'm talking about.

0:26:29 > 0:26:32cos we've got a BBC Music Day quiz. You're going to love it!
0:26:32 > 0:26:36Yeah, baby, right now, let's talk about Spot Shelley. Where was she?
0:26:36 > 0:26:39Well, she was up Everest, apparently. Look at that.
0:26:39 > 0:26:42- That was well spotted.- That's hard this week. Surely no-one.
0:26:42 > 0:26:44Blue Violet Mini Baker, you are a legend, congratulations,

0:27:04 > 0:27:06happening pretty much immediately.
