0:00:54 > 0:00:58Once upon a time, there was a princess

0:00:58 > 0:01:01and her best friend was a dragon -

0:01:01 > 0:01:04but not just any dragon.

0:01:04 > 0:01:08Dear Dragon was a bubble-blowing dragon,

0:01:08 > 0:01:15which, according to Florrie, is the best kind of dragon of all.

0:01:15 > 0:01:19"Have you heard?" shouted the knights.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22"Heard what?" asked Florrie.

0:01:22 > 0:01:24"About the Dragon Festival."

0:01:25 > 0:01:32"Dear dragons, far and wide, come tomorrow to the Dragon Festival

0:01:32 > 0:01:37"and join us in a dramatic display of dragoneering.

0:01:37 > 0:01:44"May the best Dragon win." Signed, Thunderfangs, the old and wise.

0:01:44 > 0:01:47"How exciting!" said Florrie.

0:01:47 > 0:01:50"Dear Dragon, you must take part!"

0:01:50 > 0:01:57"But dragoneering means blowing fire," sighed Dear Dragon,

0:01:57 > 0:02:00"and you know I only blow bubbles.

0:02:00 > 0:02:02"The other dragons will laugh."

0:02:02 > 0:02:05"Nonsense," said Florrie.

0:02:05 > 0:02:08But Dear Dragon was still worried.

0:02:08 > 0:02:13The next morning, dragons arrived from all over the land,

0:02:13 > 0:02:18flying and jogging and rollerblading.

0:02:18 > 0:02:22Florrie couldn't wait for the Dragon Festival to start.

0:02:22 > 0:02:27Then, Thunderfangs the old and wise stepped forward.

0:02:27 > 0:02:32"Let the dragoneering begin," he said.

0:02:33 > 0:02:37"Six cheers for the Hexadragon!

0:02:37 > 0:02:41"Make way for the one and only

0:02:41 > 0:02:46"Smouldering Smog Squadron.

0:02:46 > 0:02:51"Let's hear it for the whirling, twirling, Dragonettes.

0:02:51 > 0:02:56"Get ready for the firework fun with the Bang Bang Dragon.

0:02:58 > 0:03:03"And finally, introducing Dear Dragon."

0:03:05 > 0:03:09But Dear Dragon was nowhere to be seen.

0:03:09 > 0:03:14"Maybe, he's run out of fire!" sniggered the Bang Bang Dragon.

0:03:14 > 0:03:19"I'll find him," said Florrie. "Please wait."

0:03:21 > 0:03:24Princess Florrie looked everywhere.

0:03:24 > 0:03:29Dear Dragon wasn't under the rug, or in the kitchen,

0:03:29 > 0:03:31or up the cherry tree.

0:03:32 > 0:03:36Finally, she found him hiding in the maze.

0:03:37 > 0:03:40"What's the matter?" asked Florrie.

0:03:41 > 0:03:43Dear Dragon sighed.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45SHE SIGHS

0:03:45 > 0:03:50"I'm not really a dragoneering sort of dragon."

0:03:50 > 0:03:53"But you're Dear Dragon," said Florrie.

0:03:53 > 0:03:56"The best kind of dragon of all!"

0:03:58 > 0:04:02Meanwhile, the dragons were getting grumbly.

0:04:02 > 0:04:05They wanted to know who had won the Dragon Cup.

0:04:05 > 0:04:10"I bet it's me!" boasted Hexadragon.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13"No, us!" the Dragonettes shouted.

0:04:13 > 0:04:17"Quiet!" rumbled Thunderfangs.

0:04:17 > 0:04:21And then a terrible thing happened.

0:04:22 > 0:04:26"Fire! Fire!"

0:04:26 > 0:04:33Some dragons shrieked, some dragons squealed, some dragons yelped -

0:04:33 > 0:04:35but no-one knew what to do.

0:04:35 > 0:04:40Except, of course, Dear Dragon.

0:04:40 > 0:04:47He just took a deep breath and blew a mountain of bubbles.

0:04:47 > 0:04:52Soon, all the flames were gone.

0:04:52 > 0:04:55"Amazing!" shouted the dragons.

0:04:55 > 0:04:58"How did you do that?"

0:04:58 > 0:05:02"It's Dear Dragon's secret," said Florrie.

0:05:02 > 0:05:05Thunderfangs nodded.

0:05:05 > 0:05:07"Princess Florrie," he said,

0:05:07 > 0:05:11"why don't you present the Dragon Cup to the winner?"

0:05:12 > 0:05:17Florrie smiled because she knew exactly what to say.

0:05:17 > 0:05:23"To Dear Dragon, the best kind of dragon of all."

0:05:24 > 0:05:28And that story was called The Dragon Festival.

0:05:30 > 0:05:35I'm not sure I want to be a whirling, twirling Dragonette.

0:05:35 > 0:05:40Maybe I should practise blowing bubbles, just like Dear Dragon?

0:05:41 > 0:05:46And while I do, it's time for you to go to bed.

0:05:46 > 0:05:49I'll see you soon for another story.

0:05:50 > 0:05:52Night-night.
