0:00:10 > 0:00:13How about this one?

0:00:14 > 0:00:17It's a bit wooden. I'm not sure it looks quite...

0:00:17 > 0:00:20Oooh. Hello.

0:00:20 > 0:00:22I'm Terry, and I just can't decide

0:00:22 > 0:00:25which of these chairs I'd like to sit on

0:00:25 > 0:00:27for tonight's bedtime story.

0:00:27 > 0:00:30If you were me, which one would you choose?

0:00:31 > 0:00:36Yeah, I'd go for this soft and comfortable-looking one too!

0:00:38 > 0:00:41Oh. That's better.

0:00:41 > 0:00:44Now I can tell you a story all about a bear

0:00:44 > 0:00:46who had to choose a new chair.

0:00:46 > 0:00:50It's called A Chair For Baby Bear.

0:00:50 > 0:00:54"When are you going to mend my chair, Dad?" asked Baby Bear.

0:00:54 > 0:00:57"Soon, Baby Bear," said Father Bear.

0:00:57 > 0:01:01"You said that yesterday," said Baby Bear, "and the day before.

0:01:01 > 0:01:03"And the day before that!"

0:01:03 > 0:01:05"He's right, dear," said Mother Bear.

0:01:05 > 0:01:08That naughty Goldilocks broke Baby Bear's chair

0:01:08 > 0:01:10a very long time ago.

0:01:10 > 0:01:12"Well, all right," said Father Bear.

0:01:12 > 0:01:16"I think we'd better look for a new chair in Bear Town."

0:01:16 > 0:01:19"Hooray!" cheered Baby Bear. "Can we go now?"

0:01:19 > 0:01:22The Three Bears set off through the woods.

0:01:22 > 0:01:24Baby Bear played in the lead.

0:01:24 > 0:01:27"Look at me!" he shouted. "I'm Robin Hood!"

0:01:27 > 0:01:30"Don't get muddy," said Father Bear.

0:01:30 > 0:01:35"Can I have a Robin Hood chair?" begged Baby Bear.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38"Please, please, please?"

0:01:38 > 0:01:41"We'll see," said Father Bear.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43The Three Bears came to a stream.

0:01:43 > 0:01:47"Look at me!" cried Baby Bear. "I'm a pirate!"

0:01:47 > 0:01:51"Be careful," said Father Bear, "you'll get wet."

0:01:51 > 0:01:53"Can I have a pirate chair?" begged Baby Bear.

0:01:53 > 0:01:55"Please, please, please?"

0:01:55 > 0:01:58"We'll see," said Father Bear.

0:01:58 > 0:02:02All the way to Bear Town, Baby Bear thought and thought

0:02:02 > 0:02:06about the kind of chair he wanted. When they reached the chair shop

0:02:06 > 0:02:09he ran round and round in the revolving doors.

0:02:09 > 0:02:13"Stop that at once!" cried Father Bear, "You'll make yourself sick!"

0:02:13 > 0:02:19In the shop there were lots and lots and lots of chairs.

0:02:19 > 0:02:24There was a Robin Hood chair, but it was much too scratchy.

0:02:24 > 0:02:27There was a pirate chair, but it was much too scary.

0:02:27 > 0:02:32There was a king's chair, but it was much too grand.

0:02:32 > 0:02:34The cushion was so big and soft

0:02:34 > 0:02:37that when Baby Bear sat on it, he sank.

0:02:37 > 0:02:41Down, down, down.

0:02:41 > 0:02:45"Don't you like any of them?" asked Mother Bear.

0:02:45 > 0:02:50"Ye-es," said Baby Bear, "but none of them is quite right."

0:02:50 > 0:02:53"Sorry, Baby Bear," said Father Bear.

0:02:53 > 0:02:56"Come on, we'd best be going home."

0:02:56 > 0:02:58Baby Bear was so disappointed.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00He was tired, too.

0:03:00 > 0:03:05So Father Bear gave him a piggyback ride all the way home.

0:03:05 > 0:03:09"What's this?" said Mother Bear as they reached the front door.

0:03:09 > 0:03:14There was a big parcel wrapped in brown paper sitting on the step.

0:03:14 > 0:03:17Baby Bear didn't feel tired any more.

0:03:17 > 0:03:21He ripped off the paper, opened the box, and lifted out

0:03:21 > 0:03:24the most perfect little red bear chair.

0:03:24 > 0:03:28With it was a note from Goldilocks.

0:03:28 > 0:03:35"Dear Baby Bear, sorry I broke your chair. Love, Goldilocks."

0:03:35 > 0:03:37Baby Bear tried it out.

0:03:37 > 0:03:39"Hooray!" cried Baby Bear.

0:03:39 > 0:03:42"It's not too scratchy, it's not too scary,

0:03:42 > 0:03:46"and it's not too grand! In fact, it's just right!"

0:03:46 > 0:03:50That story was called A Chair For Baby Bear.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53I'm so glad Baby Bear loved his new chair.

0:03:53 > 0:03:57When you find a chair that you love sitting in,

0:03:57 > 0:04:01it's very hard to get up. I like sitting in this chair.

0:04:01 > 0:04:04I could probably sit here all day.

0:04:04 > 0:04:07I could probably fall asleep here.

0:04:10 > 0:04:12So good night.
