0:00:34 > 0:00:38Winnie The Witch looked out of her window and shivered.
0:00:38 > 0:00:41Her garden was covered in snow.

0:00:43 > 0:00:47Icicles hung from the rooftops.
0:00:47 > 0:00:51"I'm tired of winter," said Winnie.
0:00:51 > 0:00:54Wilbur came in through the cat flap.
0:00:54 > 0:00:59His feet were wet and his whiskers were frozen.

0:01:02 > 0:01:05Suddenly, Winnie had an idea.

0:01:08 > 0:01:13took down her big book of spells and read it, carefully.
0:01:13 > 0:01:17She put on her woolly coat, her hat, her snow boots,
0:01:17 > 0:01:18her gloves and her scarf.
0:01:18 > 0:01:22She picked up her wand and she went outside.
0:01:22 > 0:01:27Wilbur already had a fur coat on, so he went outside too.
0:01:27 > 0:01:32He thought something exciting might happen and he wanted to watch.
0:01:32 > 0:01:38Winnie shut her eyes, then she stood on tiptoe, counted to ten,
0:01:38 > 0:01:46waved her wand five times and shouted, "Abracadabra!"
0:01:46 > 0:01:49And something magical happened.
0:01:49 > 0:01:53Above Winnie's house, the sun shone brightly,
0:01:53 > 0:01:55the sky was deep blue.
0:01:55 > 0:01:58All the snow had disappeared.
0:01:58 > 0:02:01It was no longer winter at Winnie's house,
0:02:01 > 0:02:04it was sunny summer.

0:02:11 > 0:02:15She got her deckchair and went out in the garden to sit in the sun.

0:02:27 > 0:02:29"This is lovely," he thought.

0:02:34 > 0:02:39All over the garden, little animals were waking up.
0:02:39 > 0:02:44They had been having their winter sleep and they were very cross.
0:02:44 > 0:02:47They came out into the garden,
0:02:47 > 0:02:50yawning sleepily.
0:02:50 > 0:02:53"It's too early for summer," they grumbled.
0:02:53 > 0:02:55"We want to go back to sleep."
0:02:55 > 0:02:59The flowers had been asleep under the snow.
0:02:59 > 0:03:02They woke up and began to grow.
0:03:02 > 0:03:07Up came the leaves and then the flowers,
0:03:07 > 0:03:09but the sun was too hot for them.
0:03:09 > 0:03:12Their heads began to droop.
0:03:12 > 0:03:16All the lovely flowers were dying.
0:03:17 > 0:03:19Winnie was worried.
0:03:19 > 0:03:23The animals and the flowers didn't like her lovely summer.
0:03:23 > 0:03:27Then, she heard a very strange noise.
0:03:27 > 0:03:33Winnie turned round and there behind her was a great crowd of people.
0:03:33 > 0:03:38They were running along the road towards her house.
0:03:38 > 0:03:40They crowded into her garden.
0:03:40 > 0:03:44They took off THEIR coats, THEIR boots and THEIR scarves.
0:03:44 > 0:03:48Then, they sat in the sunshine.
0:03:48 > 0:03:50They walked on Winnie's flowers.
0:03:50 > 0:03:53They put orange peel on Winnie's grass.
0:03:53 > 0:03:56They paddled in Winnie's pond.
0:03:56 > 0:04:00Soon, there was no room for Winnie and Wilbur in the garden.
0:04:00 > 0:04:04They went inside and looked out of the window.
0:04:04 > 0:04:09The noise was horrible, the mess was horrible.
0:04:09 > 0:04:14Winnie's lovely summer was horrible.
0:04:14 > 0:04:17Then, Winnie heard another strange noise.
0:04:17 > 0:04:19A tinkling noise.
0:04:19 > 0:04:25Somebody was selling ice creams in her garden!
0:04:25 > 0:04:27Winnie was furious.
0:04:27 > 0:04:29She grabbed her wand, rushed outside,
0:04:29 > 0:04:32stamped her foot, shut her eyes,
0:04:32 > 0:04:34counted to ten, waved her wand
0:04:34 > 0:04:37and shouted, "AB-A-RA-CA-DA-BA-RA!"
0:04:38 > 0:04:44The sun disappeared, the blue sky disappeared
0:04:44 > 0:04:47and the snow began to fall.
0:04:47 > 0:04:50The people put on their coats, boots,
0:04:50 > 0:04:53gloves and their scarves and rushed home.
0:04:53 > 0:04:57The animals went to finish their winter sleep,
0:04:57 > 0:05:02the flowers went back under the ground to wait for spring.
0:05:02 > 0:05:06Winnie and Wilbur went back inside.
0:05:06 > 0:05:12Winnie made a cup of hot chocolate and toasted a muffin.
0:05:12 > 0:05:16Wilbur had a saucer of warm milk.
0:05:16 > 0:05:19Then, Winnie snuggled into bed.
0:05:19 > 0:05:23Wilbur curled up at the foot of the bed and purred.
0:05:23 > 0:05:29"This is warm and cosy," said Winnie.
0:05:29 > 0:05:32"Winter is lovely, too."
0:05:34 > 0:05:37And that story was called, Winnie In Winter.
0:05:37 > 0:05:41I think it's time for me to go inside and warm up.
0:05:41 > 0:05:43And it's time you snuggled down
0:05:43 > 0:05:46in your nice, warm bed and went to sleep.
