0:25:50 > 0:25:57.
0:26:06 > 0:26:10I didn't know there was a cat here in CBeebies, or even two.
0:26:10 > 0:26:12Hold on, there's another cat food bowl.
0:26:12 > 0:26:15..Oh, hello. I'm Tanni. Can you help me?
0:26:15 > 0:26:17Does a cat live here at CBeebies?
0:26:17 > 0:26:20I know that Pilchard lives with Bob in Sunflower Valley,
0:26:20 > 0:26:24but I don't think there's normally a cat in the CBeebies house, is there?
0:26:24 > 0:26:27Well, look at this, there's not just one cat food bowl,
0:26:27 > 0:26:28there's another...
0:26:28 > 0:26:30and another...
0:26:30 > 0:26:31and another...
0:26:31 > 0:26:33and another, and another.
0:26:33 > 0:26:34One.
0:26:34 > 0:26:35Two.
0:26:35 > 0:26:36Three.
0:26:36 > 0:26:38Four.
0:26:38 > 0:26:39Five.
0:26:39 > 0:26:42Six bowls! Very odd.
0:26:42 > 0:26:45Maybe tonight's bedtime story can help to explain things.
0:26:45 > 0:26:50The story is by Inga Moore and is called "Six-Dinner Sid".
0:26:50 > 0:26:53Sid lived at number 1, Aristotle Street.
0:26:53 > 0:26:55He also lived at number 2,
0:26:55 > 0:26:57number 3, number 4,
0:26:57 > 0:27:00number 5 AND number 6.
0:27:00 > 0:27:01MIAOW!
0:27:01 > 0:27:03Six lived in six houses,
0:27:03 > 0:27:05so that he could have six dinners.
0:27:05 > 0:27:08Each night, he would slip out of number 1,
0:27:08 > 0:27:10where he might have had chicken,
0:27:10 > 0:27:12into number 2 for fish.
0:27:12 > 0:27:14Onto number 3 for lamb,
0:27:14 > 0:27:15mince at number 4,
0:27:15 > 0:27:17fish again at number 5,
0:27:17 > 0:27:22rounding off at number six with beef-and-kidney stew.
0:27:22 > 0:27:25Since no-one talked to their neighbours in Aristotle Street,
0:27:25 > 0:27:30no-one knew what Sid was up to. They each believed the cat they fed
0:27:30 > 0:27:32was theirs and theirs alone.
0:27:32 > 0:27:33MIAOW!
0:27:33 > 0:27:36But Sid had to work hard for his dinners.
0:27:36 > 0:27:39It wasn't easy being six people's pets.
0:27:39 > 0:27:41He had six different names to remember
0:27:41 > 0:27:44and six different ways to behave.
0:27:44 > 0:27:48When he was being Scaramouche, Sid put on swanky airs.
0:27:48 > 0:27:51As Bob, he had a job.
0:27:51 > 0:27:52He was naughty as Satan
0:27:52 > 0:27:54and silly as Sally.
0:27:54 > 0:27:56As Sooty, he smooched.
0:27:56 > 0:28:00But as Schwarz, he had to act rough and tough.
0:28:00 > 0:28:01- MIAOW! - WOOF!
0:28:01 > 0:28:04All this work sometimes wore Sid out,
0:28:04 > 0:28:08but he didn't care, as long as he had his six dinners.
0:28:08 > 0:28:12And besides, he liked being scratched in six different places
0:28:12 > 0:28:16and sleeping in six different beds. In fact, life in Aristotle Street
0:28:16 > 0:28:20was just about perfect for Sid until one cold, damp day,
0:28:20 > 0:28:23he caught a nasty cough. The next thing he knew,
0:28:23 > 0:28:26- he was being taken to see the vet. - ACHOO!
0:28:26 > 0:28:30Poor Sid! He was taken not once, not twice,
0:28:30 > 0:28:32but six times!
0:28:32 > 0:28:34He went with six different people,
0:28:34 > 0:28:38in six different ways! The vet said that Sid's cough
0:28:38 > 0:28:41wasn't nearly as nasty as it sounded, but to be on the safe side,
0:28:41 > 0:28:44he should have a spoonful of medicine. Of course,
0:28:44 > 0:28:48Sid didn't just have one spoonful of medicine, he had six!
0:28:48 > 0:28:51- ACHOO! - Now, one black cat
0:28:51 > 0:28:55does look much like another, but nobody - not even a busy vet -
0:28:55 > 0:28:59could see the cat six times without becoming suspicious.
0:28:59 > 0:29:02Sure enough, when he checked in his appointment book,
0:29:02 > 0:29:07the vet found six cats with a cough all living in Aristotle Street.
0:29:07 > 0:29:13So he rang the owners at once and, oh dear, Sid was found out.
0:29:14 > 0:29:17When they discovered what he had been up to,
0:29:17 > 0:29:19Sid's owners were furious!
0:29:19 > 0:29:22They said he had no business eating so many dinners.
0:29:22 > 0:29:27They said in future, they would make sure he had only one dinner a day.
0:29:27 > 0:29:28MIAOW!
0:29:28 > 0:29:31But Sid was a six-dinner-a-day cat.
0:29:31 > 0:29:34So, he went to live at number 1, Pythagoras Place.
0:29:34 > 0:29:36He also went to live at numbers 2,
0:29:36 > 0:29:393, 4, 5 AND 6!
0:29:39 > 0:29:40MIAOW!
0:29:40 > 0:29:43Unlike Aristotle Street, the people in Pythagoras Place
0:29:43 > 0:29:47talked to their neighbours, so right from the start,
0:29:47 > 0:29:51everyone knew about Sid's six dinners. And because everyone knew,
0:29:51 > 0:29:54- nobody minded. - PURR!
0:29:54 > 0:29:56And that was the story called "Six-Dinner Sid".
0:29:56 > 0:29:59What a cheeky cat that Sid is! As well as Pythagoras Place,
0:29:59 > 0:30:02he's obviously eating his dinner here too.
0:30:02 > 0:30:05All that talk of dinner is making me quite hungry.
0:30:05 > 0:30:08I wonder if there's any other food in the kitchen. I'll take a look,
0:30:08 > 0:30:11while you go to bed. I'll see you soon for another story.
0:30:11 > 0:30:14I wonder if there's anything in this cupboard...
