0:00:06 > 0:00:10Right. Football - check. Whistle - check.

0:00:10 > 0:00:12Hello, I'm Tanni.

0:00:12 > 0:00:17I'm making sure we have everything for the story.

0:00:17 > 0:00:21Football - check. Football goal - check.

0:00:21 > 0:00:24Whistle - check. And Benjamin...

0:00:24 > 0:00:27Benjamin? I can't see one of those.

0:00:27 > 0:00:30I wonder what a Benjamin is.

0:00:30 > 0:00:32Maybe the dragon in the story will know

0:00:32 > 0:00:36because he found it in Dragon Wood. The story is by Timothy Knapman

0:00:36 > 0:00:40and Gwen Millward and is called Guess What I Found In Dragon Wood.

0:00:40 > 0:00:43You'll never guess what I found the other day.

0:00:43 > 0:00:45Apparently it's called a Benjamin.

0:00:45 > 0:00:49I didn't know what to do with it so I took it home to show my parents.

0:00:49 > 0:00:51Mum thought it might be hungry,

0:00:51 > 0:00:53so she cooked it a delicious meal,

0:00:53 > 0:00:58with all the ponkiest fish, and rankiest, mankiest worms.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00But it turned out it wasn't hungry.

0:01:00 > 0:01:03"Can the Benjamin sleep in my room tonight?" I asked.

0:01:03 > 0:01:07"I don't know if he's ever slept in a bed before," said Mum,

0:01:07 > 0:01:09"but he does look very tired."

0:01:09 > 0:01:14So I gave it some pyjamas and guess what -

0:01:14 > 0:01:16its feet weren't stripy after all.

0:01:16 > 0:01:20Next morning, I took it to meet my friends.

0:01:20 > 0:01:22"We're going to school," I said.

0:01:22 > 0:01:25"Today we're going to learn how to sit on a volcano."

0:01:25 > 0:01:28Benjamin didn't look very keen.

0:01:28 > 0:01:31Perhaps there aren't any schools where it comes from.

0:01:31 > 0:01:33The moment he saw the Benjamin,

0:01:33 > 0:01:37Mr Crockface said volcano-sitting class was cancelled.

0:01:37 > 0:01:40After all, you don't come across a Benjamin every day of the week

0:01:40 > 0:01:44and we were bound to learn lots from something so strange.

0:01:44 > 0:01:46And the Benjamin was VERY strange.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49It got around without wings.

0:01:49 > 0:01:52It had soft, stick-out stuff on its head.

0:01:52 > 0:01:54Where had all its scales gone?

0:01:54 > 0:01:58Its claws were blunt, its tail had dropped off.

0:01:58 > 0:02:01No wonder its roar was more like a squeak.

0:02:01 > 0:02:04And instead of breathing fire from its nostrils,

0:02:04 > 0:02:07it could only leak water from its eyes.

0:02:07 > 0:02:11It turned out that the Benjamin was homesick.

0:02:11 > 0:02:15He told us all about the faraway, magical land he came from,

0:02:15 > 0:02:20a land full of Benjamins. Can you imagine it?

0:02:20 > 0:02:23They think dragons are story stuff and make believe.

0:02:23 > 0:02:26"So," I said, "you don't fly, you don't roar,

0:02:26 > 0:02:29"you don't breathe fire. What DO you do?"

0:02:29 > 0:02:34I know, looks silly, doesn't it? Apparently it's called "football".

0:02:34 > 0:02:39The Benjamin promised it would be fantastic, and it was.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42Although you're not supposed to fly in the penalty area,

0:02:42 > 0:02:45or eat the ball, or burn down the goalposts.

0:02:45 > 0:02:49So many things to remember. We had a nice afternoon,

0:02:49 > 0:02:52but when I said it was time to go home,

0:02:52 > 0:02:55the Benjamin looked like he was going to leak again.

0:02:55 > 0:02:58"You miss your mummy and daddy, don't you?" I said.

0:02:58 > 0:03:02"I'll miss you," I said, but I knew it was time for him to go.

0:03:02 > 0:03:06Besides, I really wanted to see the land of the Benjamins.

0:03:06 > 0:03:09I asked my friends if they'd like to come with us,

0:03:09 > 0:03:14but I think they were too scared. I was a little bit anxious myself.

0:03:14 > 0:03:16I'd only ever met one Benjamin, so I didn't know

0:03:16 > 0:03:19how I'd cope with a country FULL of them!

0:03:19 > 0:03:21But the Benjamin was so happy to be going home

0:03:21 > 0:03:24I couldn't help smiling.

0:03:24 > 0:03:28It was an awfully long way, far, far across the seas.

0:03:28 > 0:03:31But it was just as beautiful as he said it would be.

0:03:31 > 0:03:36Mind you, the Benjamins have a very funny way of saying hello.

0:03:36 > 0:03:40When I got back home, I told all my friends about the wheel-boxes,

0:03:40 > 0:03:44with the wow noises and the whirlybirds with flash lamps.

0:03:44 > 0:03:47They were very excited.

0:03:47 > 0:03:49"Will you ever go back there?" they asked.

0:03:49 > 0:03:51"Of course," I said.

0:03:51 > 0:03:54"The Benjamin wants me to meet his teacher."

0:03:54 > 0:03:58Or was that EAT his teacher? I wasn't quite sure.

0:03:58 > 0:04:00Got to go now - football practice!

0:04:00 > 0:04:03WHISTLE BLOWS

0:04:03 > 0:04:06And that story was called Guess What I Found In Dragon Wood.

0:04:06 > 0:04:10Maybe there's a Benjamin who'd like to play football with me.

0:04:10 > 0:04:12And maybe I'll find one in Dragon Wood tomorrow.

0:04:12 > 0:04:14But now it's time for bed.

0:04:14 > 0:04:18Make sure you take off your wellies before you go to bed.

0:04:18 > 0:04:21See you soon for another story. Night night.

0:04:21 > 0:04:24Mr Dragon, whose side do you want to be on?
