0:25:50 > 0:25:57.
0:26:06 > 0:26:08..And an umbrella.
0:26:08 > 0:26:10Oh, hello!
0:26:10 > 0:26:13I'm Fiona. I'm getting ready to go exploring.
0:26:13 > 0:26:17I like exploring. Do you?
0:26:17 > 0:26:21Look, I've got all sorts of things to take on my expedition.
0:26:21 > 0:26:24A lamp, for when it gets a bit dark.
0:26:24 > 0:26:27An umbrella, in case it rains.
0:26:27 > 0:26:29A wooden spoon...
0:26:29 > 0:26:33What? I don't need a wooden spoon!
0:26:33 > 0:26:34Do I?
0:26:34 > 0:26:36What would I use that for?
0:26:36 > 0:26:41Oh, I know. I've got a wooden spoon. Bear suggested I needed it.
0:26:41 > 0:26:49Bear, Wolf, Owl and Pig go on an expedition in tonight's story.
0:26:49 > 0:26:52And they take all sorts of things with them!
0:26:52 > 0:26:56The story is by Norbert Landa and Tim Warnes,
0:26:56 > 0:27:01and is called The Great Monster Hunt.
0:27:02 > 0:27:04Early one morning,
0:27:04 > 0:27:07a funny noise woke up Duck.
0:27:07 > 0:27:12It sounded like... "Pssh. Pssh."
0:27:12 > 0:27:15And it came from right under her bed.
0:27:17 > 0:27:23Duck was not quite sure what it was, and she was much too afraid to look.
0:27:23 > 0:27:27Instead, she jumped out of bed and ran for help.
0:27:27 > 0:27:29"Pig!" Duck yelled.
0:27:29 > 0:27:33"There is something under my bed and it's making strange sounds.
0:27:33 > 0:27:36"It goes, "Pssh, pssh, grrr.""
0:27:38 > 0:27:42"Pssh, pssh, grr?" Asked Pig.
0:27:42 > 0:27:45"Oh, my. We need someone really strong to help.
0:27:45 > 0:27:50"Stay right where you are." And Pig ran to find Bear.
0:27:50 > 0:27:55Pig told Bear all about the frightening noise under Duck's bed.
0:27:55 > 0:28:00"It goes, pssh, pssh, grr, bang bang!
0:28:00 > 0:28:05"I wanted to tell you, Bear, because you are so strong."
0:28:05 > 0:28:08Bear lifted a huge log.
0:28:10 > 0:28:15"It is true I'm strong enough for almost anything," he said.
0:28:15 > 0:28:20"But I think we'd better find someone who's loud enough
0:28:20 > 0:28:23"to chase this thing away."
0:28:23 > 0:28:29So they ran to find Wolf, who was about to start his morning howling.
0:28:29 > 0:28:34Bear told him the dreadful news about the terrifying thing
0:28:34 > 0:28:40under Duck's bed. "It goes, pssh, pssh, grr, bang, bang,
0:28:40 > 0:28:45"pam, pam all of the time!" Bear said.
0:28:45 > 0:28:48"We thought you could help us frighten it away."
0:28:48 > 0:28:53"Oh, yes, I can," Wolf proudly said.
0:28:53 > 0:28:57"There is no match for what I can do. Just listen.
0:28:57 > 0:29:02"Owoo-o-o-o-o-o-o!
0:29:02 > 0:29:07"But maybe we also need help from someone really clever."
0:29:07 > 0:29:12So they ran to find Owl. "Listen," Wolf said.
0:29:12 > 0:29:16"There is a dreadful and terrifying sound under Duck's bed.
0:29:16 > 0:29:24"It goes, pssh, pssh, grrr, bang, bang, pam, pam, grrrowl!"
0:29:25 > 0:29:27Owl was lost for words.
0:29:27 > 0:29:32"We thought you might know what it was," Pig said,
0:29:32 > 0:29:35"because you are so clever."
0:29:35 > 0:29:43Owl said, "Clever, yes. That's what I am."
0:29:43 > 0:29:51"So I can tell you one thing. Duck is in great danger."
0:29:51 > 0:29:53"It must be a monster!" yelled Pig.
0:29:53 > 0:29:56"Oh, what are we going to do?"
0:29:58 > 0:30:03"The only way to deal with a monster," Owl said,
0:30:03 > 0:30:05"is to trap it."
0:30:05 > 0:30:09Clever Owl! So the animals set about gathering
0:30:09 > 0:30:13rope and nets and... useful pokey things.
0:30:13 > 0:30:18then the four of them bravely set off towards Duck's house.
0:30:18 > 0:30:22"Owooooooooo!" Owl led the way,
0:30:22 > 0:30:26because trapping the monster was his clever idea.
0:30:26 > 0:30:29Next came Wolf, howling loudly.
0:30:29 > 0:30:33Then came Bear, with his monster-busting stick.
0:30:33 > 0:30:38Last was Pig, clutching his great monster-catching net.
0:30:38 > 0:30:42Finally, they arrived at Duck's house
0:30:42 > 0:30:45and flattened their ears against the door.
0:30:45 > 0:30:49"Duck? Are you there?" called Wolf.
0:30:49 > 0:30:54Then the door slowly creaked open.
0:30:54 > 0:30:57It was Duck.
0:30:58 > 0:31:01"You're here!" she said.
0:31:01 > 0:31:06"Duck, you are in great danger!" whispered Bear.
0:31:06 > 0:31:11"There is a monster under your bed!" cried Pig.
0:31:11 > 0:31:13Duck looked fit to faint.
0:31:13 > 0:31:15"A monster?" she whimpered.
0:31:15 > 0:31:18"How do you know?"
0:31:18 > 0:31:22"Because it goes pssh, pssh, grrr,
0:31:22 > 0:31:28"bang, bang, pam, pam, grrrowl!" Pig yelled.
0:31:28 > 0:31:32"And owoooooo!" Owl added.
0:31:32 > 0:31:37"Come on, let's get it!"
0:31:37 > 0:31:40And the animals charged into Duck's house.
0:31:40 > 0:31:42Up the stairs they crept.
0:31:42 > 0:31:45Then they heard a sound.
0:31:45 > 0:31:49"Pssh, pssh," it went.
0:31:49 > 0:31:54It came right from under Duck's bed.
0:31:54 > 0:31:56Owl flashed his torch.
0:31:56 > 0:32:01The animals gasped - they could not believe what they saw!
0:32:01 > 0:32:06There, right under Duck's bed,
0:32:06 > 0:32:13was a tiny mouse, snoring softly in its tiny bed.
0:32:15 > 0:32:18"Pssh, pssh."
0:32:19 > 0:32:22"Well, I never!" Duck whispered.
0:32:22 > 0:32:26"Do you know what we've just done?" Owl smiled.
0:32:27 > 0:32:29All feeling rather silly,
0:32:29 > 0:32:33the animals looked at each other and giggled.
0:32:33 > 0:32:39"We've just made a monster out of a mouse."
0:32:40 > 0:32:45That story was called The Great Monster Hunt.
0:32:45 > 0:32:49I'm glad it was just a mouse underneath Duck's bed.
0:32:49 > 0:32:51Weren't you?
0:32:52 > 0:32:56I don't think I need all these things on my expedition.
0:32:56 > 0:33:00I'm sure there are more useful things I can find in the house.
0:33:00 > 0:33:04So, while I put my kit together for tomorrow,
0:33:04 > 0:33:09it's time for you to get some sleep, ready for tomorrow's adventure.
0:33:09 > 0:33:11I'll see you soon for another story.
0:33:11 > 0:33:12Night-night.
