0:23:50 > 0:23:57.
0:24:07 > 0:24:10Have a sit down...
0:24:10 > 0:24:13Oh... Who's left all this stuff here?
0:24:13 > 0:24:16Oh, hello!
0:24:16 > 0:24:20I'm Sue. Do you know who left this stuff here?
0:24:20 > 0:24:24Look. There's a tennis ball...
0:24:24 > 0:24:28an alarm clock, apples, a plate of doughnuts.
0:24:28 > 0:24:31What an odd collection of things.
0:24:31 > 0:24:34Although, maybe there's a clue -
0:24:34 > 0:24:36they're all round.
0:24:36 > 0:24:40Ah! I think I know who left these here.
0:24:40 > 0:24:44Let me tell you tonight's bedtime story
0:24:44 > 0:24:48and then you can guess who left them here.
0:24:48 > 0:24:50The story is by Sue Hendra
0:24:50 > 0:24:54and is called Norman The Slug With The Silly Shell.
0:24:54 > 0:24:58Norman the slug thought snails were great.
0:24:58 > 0:25:03"Wow!" said Norman, "look at them! They're amazing!"
0:25:03 > 0:25:08But, unfortunately, the snails didn't think Norman was great.
0:25:08 > 0:25:11Wheee! Crash!
0:25:12 > 0:25:15"Norman, you silly slug!" they cried.
0:25:15 > 0:25:20"You've spoilt our fun. This only works if you've got a shell!"
0:25:20 > 0:25:24Norman felt left out. Sadly, he skulked off into the moonlight.
0:25:24 > 0:25:29"Oh, if only I had a shell of my own!" he sighed,
0:25:29 > 0:25:32looking at his reflection.
0:25:32 > 0:25:34And that's when he had an idea.
0:25:34 > 0:25:38"Maybe I could have a shell after all," he thought.
0:25:38 > 0:25:42But finding a shell was not as easy as it seemed.
0:25:42 > 0:25:45One was too bouncy. BOING!
0:25:45 > 0:25:47One was too noisy! R-R-RING!
0:25:47 > 0:25:53And one was already taken. Norman needed time to think.
0:25:53 > 0:25:56"Hmm... Ta-da!"
0:25:56 > 0:26:01A shell! It was perfect! Norman had never been happier.
0:26:01 > 0:26:04He could join the snails at last.
0:26:05 > 0:26:10Norman loved being a snail. And the snails loved Norman's silly shell.
0:26:10 > 0:26:13But the fun didn't last for long.
0:26:13 > 0:26:16Suddenly, there was a loud flapping of wings.
0:26:16 > 0:26:20"Look out! Bird!" cried the snails in panic.
0:26:20 > 0:26:24"Quick! Slither for your lives or we'll end up as supper!"
0:26:24 > 0:26:28But the bird was more interested in Norman's silly shell.
0:26:28 > 0:26:30It looked delicious.
0:26:30 > 0:26:35Norman was being carried up, up and away!
0:26:35 > 0:26:37Higher and higher into the sky!
0:26:37 > 0:26:42What could he do? Norman did the only thing a slug could do.
0:26:42 > 0:26:46He made slime. Lots and lots of it.
0:26:46 > 0:26:50With a slither and a slother and a slip and a slide,
0:26:50 > 0:26:56Norman was free! But he was falling faster and faster and faster until...
0:26:56 > 0:26:58Plonk!
0:26:58 > 0:27:03"Norman? Norman! Are you OK?" asked the snails.
0:27:03 > 0:27:05"Wow! said Norman,
0:27:05 > 0:27:10"That was great! I love flying!
0:27:10 > 0:27:13"If only I had wings!"
0:27:15 > 0:27:17"Ta-da!"
0:27:19 > 0:27:23That story was called Norman The Slug With The Silly Shell.
0:27:23 > 0:27:26And that's who left all this stuff about -
0:27:26 > 0:27:30Norman, when he was trying out different things for shells.
0:27:30 > 0:27:34Oh, well, I need to tidy this up before bedtime.
0:27:34 > 0:27:39I hope you've tidied up too, already to go to bed and sleep
0:27:39 > 0:27:43and that you're ready for tomorrow's adventures, just like Norman.
0:27:43 > 0:27:46I'll see you soon with another story. Night night.
0:27:46 > 0:27:52Now, where shall I start? I've got the ball, I've got the clock...
