0:13:50 > 0:13:57.
0:14:08 > 0:14:11This is one small step for a man,
0:14:11 > 0:14:13but a giant leap for a teddy.
0:14:13 > 0:14:18Hello. I'm Charlie. I was just moon walking with Teddy.
0:14:20 > 0:14:25Wouldn't it be amazing to go to space and walk on the moon?
0:14:25 > 0:14:31Alfie in tonight's story is space-mad and would love to go to the moon.
0:14:31 > 0:14:38The story is by Rachel Bright and is called My Sister Is An Alien.
0:14:39 > 0:14:43This is Alfie. His favourite things are...
0:14:43 > 0:14:45one - aliens,
0:14:45 > 0:14:47two - rockets,
0:14:47 > 0:14:49three - the moon.
0:14:49 > 0:14:51In that EXACT order.
0:14:51 > 0:14:55He lives in a house with one mummy,
0:14:55 > 0:15:00one daddy and a brand-new sister called Ruby.
0:15:00 > 0:15:02Mummy talked a lot about Ruby -
0:15:02 > 0:15:07"Isn't she lovely? Mummy and Daddy are over the moon."
0:15:07 > 0:15:11But Alfie was thinking about aliens and heard,
0:15:11 > 0:15:15"Blah-blah, blah-blah, blah-blah, MOON."
0:15:15 > 0:15:18Daddy talked a lot about Ruby too -
0:15:18 > 0:15:22"Oh, isn't she lovely? We must make some space for her."
0:15:22 > 0:15:26But Alfie was drawing an astronaut and he heard,
0:15:26 > 0:15:30"Blah-blah, blah-blah, blah-blah, SPACE."
0:15:30 > 0:15:38And that was when Alfie realised, "My sister is an alien!
0:15:38 > 0:15:40"From the moon!"
0:15:40 > 0:15:43She looked like an alien,
0:15:43 > 0:15:45she sounded like an alien,
0:15:45 > 0:15:50she definitely smelt like an alien and she often cried for home.
0:15:50 > 0:15:56Alfie decided he must get Ruby back to the moon where she belonged.
0:15:56 > 0:15:59And he had just the thing to get her there -
0:15:59 > 0:16:01his rocket.
0:16:01 > 0:16:04Alfie spent time making it nice
0:16:04 > 0:16:07so Ruby would have a lovely journey home.
0:16:07 > 0:16:12He found space snacks in case Ruby was hungry on the way.
0:16:12 > 0:16:16There was just enough time to dress in their spacesuits.
0:16:16 > 0:16:19Then, they were ready to go.
0:16:19 > 0:16:22Alfie climbed into the rocket with Ruby -
0:16:22 > 0:16:28somebody responsible needed to drive - and began the countdown,
0:16:28 > 0:16:33"three...two...one...lift-off!"
0:16:33 > 0:16:36Alfie and Ruby soared through the air
0:16:36 > 0:16:40over treetops and into starry darkness.
0:16:40 > 0:16:43They flew and flew towards the moon.
0:16:43 > 0:16:46And after not too long, made a soft landing.
0:16:46 > 0:16:50The moon was amazing! Ruby looked happy
0:16:50 > 0:16:56and the aliens were even friendlier than Alfie thought they would be.
0:16:56 > 0:16:58They played all night long
0:16:58 > 0:17:04until Alfie got sleepy and said, "Oh, Ruby, I'd better go home now."
0:17:04 > 0:17:09But when he climbed into the rocket, he suddenly felt very sad.
0:17:09 > 0:17:15"Ruby," he said, "do you think you might come back to Earth with me
0:17:15 > 0:17:20"for just a bit longer?" And Ruby said, "Goo-oo-ooh."
0:17:20 > 0:17:24So away they flew, back across the starry darkness,
0:17:24 > 0:17:28over the treetops and all the way home.
0:17:28 > 0:17:31That night, Ruby slept in Alfie's bed.
0:17:31 > 0:17:36"Night, Ruby," whispered Alfie as they snuggled up together.
0:17:36 > 0:17:40And Ruby gurgled, "Goo-oo-oo-oooh."
0:17:40 > 0:17:43Now Alfie's favourite things are...
0:17:43 > 0:17:45one - Ruby,
0:17:45 > 0:17:47two - aliens,
0:17:47 > 0:17:48three - rockets,
0:17:48 > 0:17:50four - the moon.
0:17:50 > 0:17:52In THAT EXACT order.
0:17:54 > 0:17:59And that story was called My Sister Is An Alien.
0:17:59 > 0:18:03Thank goodness Alfie realised Ruby was not an alien,
0:18:03 > 0:18:05but his precious sister.
0:18:05 > 0:18:10It's time for you to close your eyes and whizz off to outer space.
0:18:10 > 0:18:15Sleep tight. I'll see you soon for another bedtime story.
0:18:18 > 0:18:20Right, I think I'm ready to go.
0:18:25 > 0:18:26OK!
0:18:26 > 0:18:30Rocket launching in three, two, one...
