0:22:02 > 0:22:05CBeebies Bedtime Story.
0:22:11 > 0:22:15Hm. Oh, hello. I'm Sheila.
0:22:15 > 0:22:17I was just listening to some music.
0:22:17 > 0:22:20That's called jazz music.
0:22:20 > 0:22:24It's so gentle and smooth, it could send me to sleep.
0:22:24 > 0:22:26But I can't go to sleep
0:22:26 > 0:22:30because I need to tell you tonight's bedtime story.
0:22:30 > 0:22:32There's some music in tonight's story.
0:22:32 > 0:22:35The story is Mr Big.
0:22:35 > 0:22:37And it's by Ed Vere.
0:22:39 > 0:22:43Let me tell you a story about a friend of mine.
0:22:43 > 0:22:48He goes by the name of Big. Mr Big.
0:22:48 > 0:22:51Now, Mr Big had a small problem.
0:22:51 > 0:22:57Compared to everyone else, he was extremely big.
0:22:57 > 0:23:00He was so big that anywhere he went,
0:23:00 > 0:23:04all everyone ever saw was someone big and scary.
0:23:04 > 0:23:08No-one stuck around to find out who he really was.
0:23:08 > 0:23:12So, inside, Mr Big felt very, very small.
0:23:12 > 0:23:14And that's how it always was.
0:23:16 > 0:23:21When Mr Big went to the cafe, everyone had other things to do.
0:23:21 > 0:23:25When Mr Big got on the bus, everyone else got off.
0:23:25 > 0:23:28And when he went to the pool, well,
0:23:28 > 0:23:32let's just say everyone needed to be somewhere else.
0:23:32 > 0:23:36No-one ever saw the real Mr Big.
0:23:36 > 0:23:42One day, Mr Big noticed a piano in a shop window.
0:23:42 > 0:23:45It looked all alone, just like him.
0:23:45 > 0:23:48So he bought it and took it home.
0:23:48 > 0:23:51As Mr Big sat alone at the piano,
0:23:51 > 0:23:55he thought of all the things that made him sad.
0:23:55 > 0:23:57And then he played.
0:23:57 > 0:24:01His music drifted out through the open window
0:24:01 > 0:24:03and into the evening sky.
0:24:03 > 0:24:07It drifted across the rooftops, over to his neighbours.
0:24:07 > 0:24:12And they wondered who was playing such beautiful music.
0:24:12 > 0:24:15The word spread, and night after night,
0:24:15 > 0:24:18everyone came from all over town.
0:24:18 > 0:24:22And still, no-one knew who was playing. It was a big mystery.
0:24:22 > 0:24:26But inside, Mr Big was still alone.
0:24:28 > 0:24:30And then one morning,
0:24:30 > 0:24:34Mr Big received his first ever letter.
0:24:34 > 0:24:37It was an invitation. And it said,
0:24:37 > 0:24:39"Dear Mystery Pianist.
0:24:39 > 0:24:41"Thank you for your beautiful music.
0:24:41 > 0:24:44"Everyone has been listening to you for weeks.
0:24:44 > 0:24:48"And we're all wondering one thing - who are you?
0:24:48 > 0:24:50"We'd love to meet you.
0:24:50 > 0:24:54"Me and a couple of the guys are playing tonight at the Blue Note.
0:24:54 > 0:24:57"Please come and join our band.
0:24:57 > 0:24:59"See you later. A friend."
0:24:59 > 0:25:03That night, Mr Big joined the band.
0:25:03 > 0:25:07All night long, the joint was jumping
0:25:07 > 0:25:09and nobody wanted to leave.
0:25:09 > 0:25:14At last, everyone could see the real Mr Big.
0:25:14 > 0:25:17Now the Big Band has hit the big-time
0:25:17 > 0:25:22and everyone wants to meet them, Mr Big has a new problem.
0:25:22 > 0:25:25He doesn't get much time to be alone.
0:25:25 > 0:25:28And that's just the way he likes it.
0:25:29 > 0:25:31That story was called Mr Big.
0:25:31 > 0:25:36I'm glad Mr Big found some friends to make music with, aren't you?
0:25:36 > 0:25:39It's good to have friends, isn't it?
0:25:39 > 0:25:43Well, I'm going to listen to some more jazz music
