0:22:07 > 0:22:10Hello, I'm Kym and I've found the perfect spot to sit

0:22:10 > 0:22:12and tell you a story.

0:22:12 > 0:22:14There are lots of lovely places to sit

0:22:14 > 0:22:17all around the CBeebies house,

0:22:17 > 0:22:20but I wanted to find somewhere that was just right.

0:22:20 > 0:22:22And this feels perfect.

0:22:22 > 0:22:26The bear in tonight's bedtime story is looking for a perfect home.

0:22:26 > 0:22:29Let's find out what happens.

0:22:29 > 0:22:34The story is by Katie Cleminson and is called Otto The Book Bear.

0:22:34 > 0:22:39Once upon a time, Otto was a book bear.

0:22:39 > 0:22:42He lived in a book on a shelf in a house.

0:22:42 > 0:22:45And he was at his happiest when children read his book.

0:22:45 > 0:22:49But Otto also had a special secret.

0:22:49 > 0:22:53When no one was looking, he came to life.

0:22:53 > 0:22:57Otto loved to explore the house, to read his favourite stories

0:22:57 > 0:22:59and practise his writing.

0:22:59 > 0:23:02But one day, something terrible happened.

0:23:02 > 0:23:05And Otto was left behind.

0:23:05 > 0:23:11Otto didn't like being all alone. So he made a plan, packed a bag

0:23:11 > 0:23:14and set off on a new adventure.

0:23:14 > 0:23:18But the world outside made Otto feel very small.

0:23:18 > 0:23:20Nobody seemed to notice him.

0:23:20 > 0:23:25Otto began to search the city, hoping to find a new place to live.

0:23:25 > 0:23:28But nowhere he went felt like home.

0:23:28 > 0:23:33It was too busy, too wet, too cold, too smoky.

0:23:33 > 0:23:38Too high, too windy and too unwelcoming.

0:23:38 > 0:23:42Otto didn't like living in the city and he missed his warm book.

0:23:42 > 0:23:46He was starting to feel downhearted.

0:23:46 > 0:23:51But he decided to pick up his bag and carry on walking.

0:23:51 > 0:23:56And just when he thought he couldn't walk any further,

0:23:56 > 0:23:58when he felt cold and tired,

0:23:58 > 0:24:03Otto saw a place that looked full of light and hope.

0:24:03 > 0:24:06He went inside and found...

0:24:06 > 0:24:09rows and rows of books.

0:24:09 > 0:24:11Otto began to climb.

0:24:11 > 0:24:17And there, at the end of the shelf, he saw something.

0:24:17 > 0:24:19Could it be?

0:24:19 > 0:24:23It was. Another book bear.

0:24:23 > 0:24:26The other bear shook Otto's paw and said,

0:24:26 > 0:24:28"I'm Ernest, how do you do?"

0:24:28 > 0:24:32Otto's new friend showed him around the library

0:24:32 > 0:24:36And he discovered it was full of book creatures just like him.

0:24:36 > 0:24:40Together, with Ernest, he could once again read

0:24:40 > 0:24:43his favourite stories, practise his writing

0:24:43 > 0:24:46and try out all kinds of exciting new things.

0:24:46 > 0:24:51And the best part was, now, Otto had lots of readers

0:24:51 > 0:24:55and that made him the happiest book bear of all.

0:24:55 > 0:24:58And that story was called Otto The Book Bear.

0:24:58 > 0:25:01I think Otto and Ernest would be very happy here

0:25:01 > 0:25:04in the CBeebies house, don't you?

0:25:04 > 0:25:05This bed is very comfy.

0:25:05 > 0:25:09I think I'll just snuggle up here for a little snooze.

0:25:09 > 0:25:13And it's time for you to sleep too. Have you brushed teeth?

0:25:13 > 0:25:16Cleaned your face? Gotten into your pyjamas?

0:25:16 > 0:25:19Good. Then you're all ready for bed.

0:25:19 > 0:25:22And I'll see you soon for another bedtime story.

0:25:22 > 0:25:23Night, night.

0:25:23 > 0:25:28Now just let me get comfy, then I can close my eyes.
