0:20:49 > 0:20:57.
0:21:06 > 0:21:10Up and down and whee! There you go, look at you go.
0:21:10 > 0:21:11Hello, I'm Katy.
0:21:11 > 0:21:14I'm pretending to fly with my favourite dragon toy,
0:21:14 > 0:21:17it's great fun and you're a good little flyer,
0:21:17 > 0:21:19aren't you, little dragon?
0:21:19 > 0:21:22There's a dragon who can fly up high in our story tonight.
0:21:22 > 0:21:25Would you like to meet him? You would?
0:21:25 > 0:21:28There's a baby that would also like to meet him too,
0:21:28 > 0:21:31so get comfy and I'll tell you all about them.
0:21:31 > 0:21:36The story is by Jan Fearnley and it's called The Baby Dragon-Tamer.
0:21:36 > 0:21:39One dark and starry night when a baby was sleeping in his bed,
0:21:39 > 0:21:43along came a great big dragon looking for treasure.
0:21:43 > 0:21:47"Stamp, stamp," went his feet. "Crash, crash," went the furniture.
0:21:47 > 0:21:52Books flew like birds, walls trembled like jelly.
0:21:52 > 0:21:54The dragon snorted silver sparks.
0:21:54 > 0:21:57He was full of magic and fire and bad, bad temper.
0:21:57 > 0:22:00Crash, boom, raagh!
0:22:00 > 0:22:02This rumpus woke the baby up.
0:22:02 > 0:22:07He rubbed his eyes, blinked, and went to see what the fuss was about.
0:22:07 > 0:22:11Through silver wisps of smoke, the dragon glared at the baby.
0:22:11 > 0:22:15"Give me your treasure!" he demanded.
0:22:15 > 0:22:17"Bleugh," said the baby.
0:22:17 > 0:22:20"Hey, I'm mean and nasty!" growled the dragon.
0:22:20 > 0:22:24"You should be very frightened! Give me your treasure!"
0:22:25 > 0:22:29"Goo goo," said the baby. He didn't know how to be frightened.
0:22:29 > 0:22:34He was too little. The dragon frowned. "Why," he said.
0:22:34 > 0:22:37"this cheeky little flea thinks he can take me on.
0:22:37 > 0:22:40"All righty, I'll show you."
0:22:40 > 0:22:44The dragon threw back his head and roared a terrifying roar.
0:22:44 > 0:22:45"Raargh!"
0:22:45 > 0:22:49"I bet you can't do that," he smirked,
0:22:49 > 0:22:51patting the baby on the back.
0:22:51 > 0:22:54"Raa!" burped the baby.
0:22:54 > 0:22:58"Hmm. Very impressive," said the dragon. But watch this.
0:22:58 > 0:22:59He screwed up his face
0:22:59 > 0:23:03and puffed out fire and sparks which sizzled into the air.
0:23:05 > 0:23:09"Now, give me your treasure!" he cried.
0:23:09 > 0:23:13"Tee-hee!" went the baby, flapping his arms with delight.
0:23:13 > 0:23:16Then he screwed up his face like an old apple.
0:23:16 > 0:23:19Prrp! "Whatever next?!" said the dragon.
0:23:19 > 0:23:21He soon found out.
0:23:21 > 0:23:23"This isn't treasure," he said,
0:23:23 > 0:23:26wrestling with a nappy, powder and pins.
0:23:26 > 0:23:29"This certainly isn't treasure!"
0:23:29 > 0:23:32Then the dragon showed the baby his biggest, best
0:23:32 > 0:23:33and scariest trick of all.
0:23:33 > 0:23:36With a flap of his scaly wings,
0:23:36 > 0:23:39together they hurtled through the dark, dark sky.
0:23:39 > 0:23:43They waved to the big yellow moon and said hello to the twinkly stars.
0:23:45 > 0:23:49"Whee!" said the baby. Safely back home, the baby was sad.
0:23:49 > 0:23:51He loved flying.
0:23:51 > 0:23:55"Waah!" he cried. "Oh, no!" said the dragon.
0:23:55 > 0:23:58He'd never heard such a terrible noise.
0:23:58 > 0:24:01"Don't cry, baby. Just give me your treasure!"
0:24:01 > 0:24:05But the baby kept crying. "Waagh!"
0:24:05 > 0:24:07So the dragon played him a tune,
0:24:07 > 0:24:10danced him a dance and did some tricks.
0:24:10 > 0:24:12But every time he stopped, the baby cried.
0:24:14 > 0:24:18The poor dragon didn't know what to do. Then he had an idea.
0:24:18 > 0:24:22Ever so gently, he picked up the baby
0:24:22 > 0:24:25and cradled him like a precious jewel.
0:24:25 > 0:24:29The baby smiled trustingly into the dragon's emerald eyes.
0:24:29 > 0:24:31The dragon smiled back.
0:24:31 > 0:24:34It was pure magic.
0:24:34 > 0:24:38As the baby chuckled and snuggled in the dragon's big, strong arms,
0:24:38 > 0:24:41the huge beast's heart was filled with love.
0:24:41 > 0:24:45"There, there, my little treasure," whispered the dragon.
0:24:45 > 0:24:47The dragon decided he would like to stay.
0:24:47 > 0:24:51"You've given me something so precious," he said.
0:24:51 > 0:24:54"Would you like me to teach you something special?"
0:24:54 > 0:24:56"All righty," said the baby.
0:24:56 > 0:24:59"Whee!" said the baby.
0:24:59 > 0:25:01"All righty," laughed the dragon,
0:25:01 > 0:25:05and off they flew through the sky together.
0:25:06 > 0:25:09And that story was called The Baby Dragon-Tamer.
0:25:09 > 0:25:12Flying high in the sky with the dragon looked fun, didn't it?
0:25:12 > 0:25:16Or maybe you can dream of flying with a dragon in your dreams tonight
0:25:16 > 0:25:18and have fun wherever you go.
0:25:18 > 0:25:21I'll see you soon for another bedtime story. Night night.
