0:00:22 > 0:00:24there's a monster who goes on an adventure
0:00:24 > 0:00:27to see if he can find what he's been looking for.
0:00:27 > 0:00:31It's by Rachel Bright, and it's called Love Monster.
0:00:31 > 0:00:35This is a monster. Hello, Monster.
0:00:35 > 0:00:39I think you'll agree he's a little bit funny-looking, to say the least.
0:00:39 > 0:00:42He lives in a world of cute, fluffy things,
0:00:42 > 0:00:46which makes being funny-looking pretty darn hard.
0:00:46 > 0:00:48You might have noticed that everybody loves kittens
0:00:48 > 0:00:53and puppies and bunnies - you know, cute, fluffy things.
0:00:53 > 0:00:59But nobody loves a slightly hairy, I suppose a bit googly-eyed monster.
0:00:59 > 0:01:01Poor monster.
0:01:01 > 0:01:04This might be enough to make a monster feel, well,
0:01:04 > 0:01:06a bit down in the dumps,
0:01:06 > 0:01:10but not being a moping-around sort, he decided to set out
0:01:10 > 0:01:15and look for someone who'd love him just the way he was.
0:01:15 > 0:01:20He looked high, he looked low, he looked middle-ish.
0:01:20 > 0:01:23He looked inside and out.
0:01:23 > 0:01:27More than once, he thought that maybe, just maybe,
0:01:27 > 0:01:32he'd found what he was looking for, but as it turned out,
0:01:32 > 0:01:35things were never quite the way they seemed.
0:01:35 > 0:01:40Yes, it would be fair to say that his search did not go well.
0:01:40 > 0:01:43And then it didn't go well some more.
0:01:44 > 0:01:47It didn't go well for such a long time, in fact,
0:01:47 > 0:01:50that it began to get dark and scary,
0:01:50 > 0:01:53and, well, not very nice.
0:01:54 > 0:01:57So the monster, having lost all his oomph,
0:01:57 > 0:02:00decided it was time to give up and go home.
0:02:00 > 0:02:06But in the blink of a googly eye, everything changed.
0:02:06 > 0:02:08You see, sometimes, when you least expect it...
0:02:10 > 0:02:11..love finds you.
0:02:13 > 0:02:15That story was called Love Monster.
0:02:15 > 0:02:18I'm so glad the monster found somebody to love him.
0:02:18 > 0:02:20I think they'll be very happy together.
0:02:20 > 0:02:23Have you made your toy happy with a hug? Go on.
0:02:23 > 0:02:25Just a little hug before you go to bed,
0:02:25 > 0:02:28and I'll see you soon for another bedtime story.
