0:34:31 > 0:34:35Freddie found a fairy tangled in a tree.

0:34:35 > 0:34:40"Help, I'm stuck!" The fairy cried. So Freddie set her free.

0:34:40 > 0:34:44"Thank you," said the fairy, "My name is Bessie-Belle.

0:34:44 > 0:34:49"I'll grant you all your wishes. Though I can't hear very well."

0:34:49 > 0:34:53Freddie thought then mumbled, "I wish I had a pet."

0:34:53 > 0:34:56"Why, so you shall,"! said Bessie-Belle

0:34:56 > 0:34:58and conjured up a net.

0:34:58 > 0:35:02"I don't want fish," said Freddie, "I'd rather have a dog."

0:35:02 > 0:35:04"Hey, presto!" said the fairy

0:35:04 > 0:35:06and conjured up a frog.

0:35:06 > 0:35:08RIBBET!

0:35:08 > 0:35:12"Let's try again," said Freddie, "I wish I had a cat."

0:35:12 > 0:35:14"That's easy," said the fairy

0:35:14 > 0:35:16and conjured up a bat.

0:35:16 > 0:35:20"I don't like bats," said Freddie, "But what about a mouse?"

0:35:20 > 0:35:23"Lift up that stone," the fairy said

0:35:23 > 0:35:25and Freddie found a louse.

0:35:25 > 0:35:31"That isn't right," said Freddie. "Let's think. Perhaps a parrot?"

0:35:31 > 0:35:34"I'll do my best," said Bessie-Belle

0:35:34 > 0:35:37and conjured up a carrot.

0:35:37 > 0:35:42Freddie stamped his foot and said, "This carrot has no beak."

0:35:42 > 0:35:46"Forgive me," said the fairy and a tear rolled down her cheek.

0:35:48 > 0:35:53Just then, from out of nowhere, appeared the Fairy Queen.

0:35:53 > 0:35:58She dried the fairy's eyes and asked, "Whatever does this mean?"

0:35:58 > 0:36:01"It's Bessie-Belle," said Freddie.

0:36:01 > 0:36:04"She gets things wrong," he grumbled.

0:36:04 > 0:36:09"I'm sorry," said the fairy, "But that's because you mumbled."

0:36:09 > 0:36:11"Now, Freddie," said the Fairy Queen.

0:36:11 > 0:36:13She sounded kind but stern.

0:36:13 > 0:36:18"Before you wish again, there are three rules for you to learn.

0:36:18 > 0:36:20"Rule one - you mustn't mumble.

0:36:20 > 0:36:23"Rule two - don't turn away.

0:36:23 > 0:36:27"The fairy needs to see you lips to read the words you say.

0:36:27 > 0:36:30"Rule three - don't cover up your mouth.

0:36:30 > 0:36:32"She can't see through your hand.

0:36:32 > 0:36:37"Obey these three gold rules and then I'm sure she'll understand."

0:36:37 > 0:36:40So Freddie learnt the three gold rules

0:36:40 > 0:36:46and now he speaks quite clearly and everything he wishes for comes true.
