0:00:23 > 0:00:25It missed? Oh, dear.

0:00:25 > 0:00:30There's a kiss that missed in tonight's bedtime story.

0:00:30 > 0:00:33And a knight has a big adventure to get it back.

0:00:39 > 0:00:43Once upon a Tuesday, the king was in a hurry, as usual.

0:00:43 > 0:00:47"Goodnight", he said, and blew his son a royal kiss.

0:00:47 > 0:00:48"Mwzzzzk!"

0:00:48 > 0:00:50It missed.

0:00:50 > 0:00:53The young prince watched it rattle around the room

0:00:53 > 0:00:57then bounce out of the window and into the night.

0:00:57 > 0:00:58The prince told the queen,

0:00:58 > 0:01:00the queen told the king

0:01:00 > 0:01:04and the king had a quick word with his loyal knight.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06"Follow that kiss," he squawked.

0:01:06 > 0:01:10The knight mounted his horse...

0:01:10 > 0:01:15- BANG-CRASH-CLATTER - ..eventually.

0:01:15 > 0:01:20And galloped off in hot pursuit until they came to the wild wood.

0:01:20 > 0:01:24Wild creatures with wild eyes, too much hair

0:01:24 > 0:01:27and very bad manners lived here.

0:01:27 > 0:01:29It was dark. It was smelly.

0:01:29 > 0:01:32It was snowing.

0:01:32 > 0:01:34They were not alone.

0:01:34 > 0:01:38There were bears with long claws, and growly roars.

0:01:38 > 0:01:41Swooping owls of all shapes and sizes,

0:01:41 > 0:01:45and a pack of hungry wolves with dribbly mouths.

0:01:45 > 0:01:48"Eeek!" squeaked the knight.

0:01:48 > 0:01:49HORSE NEIGHS

0:01:49 > 0:01:52And then suddenly, with a sparkle,

0:01:52 > 0:01:55the royal kiss came floating by

0:01:55 > 0:01:59and in turn said goodnight to everyone.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03- Bears stopped being growly. - BIG YAWN

0:02:03 > 0:02:06Owls stopped being swoopy.

0:02:06 > 0:02:09Wolves stopped being dribbly.

0:02:09 > 0:02:12And before you could say "big hairy toes",

0:02:12 > 0:02:16they all settled down for a good night's sleep.

0:02:16 > 0:02:18So the knight and his faithful horse

0:02:18 > 0:02:22sat down on a wrinkly old tree trunk to rest.

0:02:23 > 0:02:26The wrinkly old tree trunk twitched

0:02:26 > 0:02:29and slowly rose into the air.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32Above the woods and into the clouds.

0:02:32 > 0:02:34At last they found themselves

0:02:34 > 0:02:37staring into a pair of giant nostrils.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40A dragon with "this lot will be nice for breakfast" eyes

0:02:40 > 0:02:43leered greedily at them.

0:02:43 > 0:02:47Suddenly, with a sparkle, the royal kiss came floating by

0:02:47 > 0:02:51and flew right up the dragon's nose.

0:02:51 > 0:02:54He sat up, sniffed and blinked.

0:02:54 > 0:03:00Slowly he opened his mouth, took a deep breath and sneezed!

0:03:00 > 0:03:02AH-CHOO!

0:03:02 > 0:03:06"Hang on!" he said, as they tumbled through the trees.

0:03:06 > 0:03:10"Come back!" he puffed, as he lumbered after them.

0:03:10 > 0:03:13I want to pick you up and...

0:03:13 > 0:03:16kiss you goodnight.

0:03:16 > 0:03:17"Mzzzzwk!"

0:03:20 > 0:03:26Slowly, they all made their way back to the castle.

0:03:26 > 0:03:28That night the prince was happy.

0:03:28 > 0:03:30The queen was happy.

0:03:30 > 0:03:35And the king promised to stop always being in a hurry.

0:03:35 > 0:03:37He made sure everyone was comfortable

0:03:37 > 0:03:40and slowly read them a bedtime story

0:03:40 > 0:03:43from beginning to end...

0:03:43 > 0:03:46- SNORING - ..almost!

0:03:47 > 0:03:50That story was called The Kiss That Missed.

0:03:50 > 0:03:52So if the prince got his kiss back,

0:03:52 > 0:03:55maybe we should blow Teddy one more kiss.

0:03:55 > 0:03:59Altogether - one, two, three...

0:04:02 > 0:04:03He caught it this time.

0:04:03 > 0:04:05Goodnight, toys.
