0:55:31 > 0:55:34Princess Lolly wriggled impatiently on her throne.
0:55:34 > 0:55:37It was her 89th birthday party.
0:55:37 > 0:55:43"Where's my special jelly?!" she asked.
0:55:43 > 0:55:46"Here, your highness," replied the guard, as the cook
0:55:46 > 0:55:50and his assistant proudly carried in her special jelly.
0:55:50 > 0:55:55Everyone gasped with delight. It was glorious!
0:55:55 > 0:55:59Princess Lolly squealed with excitement, prodded the jelly
0:55:59 > 0:56:04and then looked puzzled. She prodded the jelly again.
0:56:04 > 0:56:11"This jelly doesn't wobble!" exclaimed Princess Lolly in horror.
0:56:11 > 0:56:16The cook prodded the jelly too. "Doesn't wobble?
0:56:16 > 0:56:19"Doesn't wobble?" flustered the cook.
0:56:19 > 0:56:22"Of course it wobbles, Your Highness, it's jelly!"
0:56:22 > 0:56:29"I say this jelly DOESN'T WOBBLE!" screeched the princess hysterically.
0:56:29 > 0:56:35She prodded the jelly again and again and again. It didn't wobble.
0:56:35 > 0:56:41"I want my jelly to wobble! Make it wobble.
0:56:41 > 0:56:46"Why won't my jelly woh-ho-ho-ho-ble?!"
0:56:46 > 0:56:51she stomped, a royal tear rolling down her cheek.
0:56:51 > 0:56:54Everyone looked at the jelly in wonder.
0:56:54 > 0:56:59- IN FRENCH ACCENT:- "I don't want to be eaten!" growled the jelly.
0:56:59 > 0:57:03Princess Lolly slumped on her throne.
0:57:03 > 0:57:05The cook stared in disbelief.
0:57:05 > 0:57:10The guard stood to attention and the hungry guests sat back in silence.
0:57:10 > 0:57:16"Not be EATEN?!" boomed the princess.
0:57:16 > 0:57:19"MELT IT!"
0:57:19 > 0:57:22"Your Highness, no!" begged the cook.
0:57:22 > 0:57:25"Think of the mess, Your Highness," said the guard.
0:57:25 > 0:57:29Princess Lolly pondered for a moment.
0:57:29 > 0:57:34"1,001 chocolate sovereigns for anyone
0:57:34 > 0:57:40"who can make this jelly wobble!" announced the princess.
0:57:40 > 0:57:43There was a great stir.
0:57:43 > 0:57:48"I'll prod it with my walking stick," said the oldest guest.
0:57:48 > 0:57:50That didn't work.
0:57:50 > 0:57:53"Drop the table!" shouted the twin guests.

0:57:55 > 0:57:56"Scare it!"
0:57:56 > 0:58:01the royal window cleaner hollered, and pulled some horrible faces.

0:58:02 > 0:58:06The jelly still refused to wobble.

0:58:08 > 0:58:14"I won't wobble, and that's my final word!" screamed the jelly.
0:58:14 > 0:58:18Princess Lolly turned the colour of a very ripe strawberry.
0:58:18 > 0:58:20The cook turned white with worry.
0:58:20 > 0:58:24"I know how to make it wobble," said the smallest guest.
0:58:24 > 0:58:28"You do?" boomed the princess.
0:58:28 > 0:58:31"You do?" questioned the cook.
0:58:31 > 0:58:34"You do?" repeated the cook's assistant.
0:58:34 > 0:58:38"Yes, Your Highness," said the smallest guest proudly.
0:58:38 > 0:58:44"Make the jelly really, really, really cold.
0:58:44 > 0:58:47"It will shiver and have to wobble!"
0:58:47 > 0:58:52"Wonderful!" said the cook, excited.
0:58:52 > 0:58:56"Go on, go on, I say!" Princess Lolly commanded.
0:58:56 > 0:58:58The cook froze for a moment.
0:58:58 > 0:59:02"Ice cream. Ice cream!" whispered the smallest guest to the cook.
0:59:02 > 0:59:06"Of course!" gasped the cook.
0:59:06 > 0:59:09There was a great scurry while a rather wobbly old ladder
0:59:09 > 0:59:13and the royal ice cream scoop were fetched.
0:59:13 > 0:59:16Tottering on top of the ladder, the cook placed three
0:59:16 > 0:59:21scoops of tutti frutti ice cream on top of the jelly's crown.
0:59:22 > 0:59:24Everyone held their breath
0:59:24 > 0:59:29and watched as the jelly tried very, very hard not to shiver.
0:59:30 > 0:59:35Suddenly, the jelly jerked as the ice cream began to melt
0:59:35 > 0:59:38and trickle down its sides.
0:59:39 > 0:59:42"I saw something move!" gasped the smallest guest.
0:59:42 > 0:59:46"Oh, please wobble!" begged the cook.
0:59:46 > 0:59:50"Brrrr!" The jelly suddenly shivered.
0:59:50 > 0:59:56"Brrrrrrrrrr!" It shivered again, rocking this way and that,
0:59:56 > 1:00:00quivering and quaking, trembling and shaking so violently that everyone
1:00:00 > 1:00:04thought it would slip off the platter and splatter on the floor.
1:00:04 > 1:00:09What a spectacle. The guests moved back in fear. The cook began to cry.
1:00:09 > 1:00:13And Princess Lolly stared in wonder at this quivering, shivering sight,
1:00:13 > 1:00:18as the defeated jelly wobbled and wibbled and wiggled
1:00:18 > 1:00:23and wobbled just as a royal jelly should.
1:00:23 > 1:00:28The hungry guests cheered, the cook sobbed with relief
1:00:28 > 1:00:31and the guard stood at ease.
1:00:31 > 1:00:34"Silence," cried Princess Lolly.
1:00:34 > 1:00:42There was an instant hush. "Now we can eat jelly!" she proclaimed.
1:00:42 > 1:00:45"A-phew!" sighed the cook, consoled.
1:00:45 > 1:00:47And they did.
1:00:49 > 1:00:52And by the way, the princess kept her promise
1:00:52 > 1:00:57and rewarded the smallest guest with 1,001 chocolate sovereigns.
