0:00:20 > 0:00:23There's a very clever baby in tonight's bedtime story.

0:00:28 > 0:00:33In the months before Baby Brains was born, Mrs Brains was very busy.

0:00:33 > 0:00:37She read out loud every night to the baby inside her tummy.

0:01:15 > 0:01:18Mrs Brains opened the door to see her baby sitting on the sofa,

0:01:20 > 0:01:24By the afternoon, Baby Brains was helping to mend the car.

0:01:24 > 0:01:27"We've certainly got a bright one here," said Mr Brains.

0:01:27 > 0:01:31That evening, Baby Brains spoke his first words.

0:01:31 > 0:01:34"I'd like to go to school tomorrow," he said.

0:01:34 > 0:01:37The next day, Baby Brains visited the local school.

0:01:37 > 0:01:41He sat down with the children and answered all the questions.

0:01:41 > 0:01:43The children were amazed.

0:01:43 > 0:01:47At the end of the afternoon, the teacher thanked Baby Brains.

0:01:47 > 0:01:51"I don't think I've ever learned so much in one day," she said.

0:02:13 > 0:02:17They asked if Baby Brains would help with their next space mission.

0:02:17 > 0:02:20The next day, Mr and Mrs Brains and their baby

0:02:20 > 0:02:22travelled to the space centre.

0:02:22 > 0:02:24After training hard over the weekend,

0:02:24 > 0:02:27Baby Brains waved goodbye to Mr and Mrs Brains

0:02:27 > 0:02:29and blasted off into outer space.

0:02:29 > 0:02:32Everyone in the world held their breath

0:02:32 > 0:02:35as they watched Baby Brains take his first spacewalk.

0:02:35 > 0:02:39"Tell us how you feel," radioed ground control.

0:02:39 > 0:02:43Baby Brains looked up at the vast starlit sky above him.

0:02:43 > 0:02:46He looked down at the vast starlit sky below him.

0:02:46 > 0:02:51He looked at the whole world in front of him and mumbled something.

0:02:51 > 0:02:54"We can't quite hear you," radioed ground control,

0:02:54 > 0:02:56"Could you repeat that?"

0:02:56 > 0:02:59"I want my mummy!" wailed Baby Brains.

0:02:59 > 0:03:03"That's enough," Mrs Brains yelled to the space controller,

0:03:03 > 0:03:05"bring my baby home right now!"

0:03:05 > 0:03:08Baby Brains was flown home as quickly as possible.

0:03:08 > 0:03:11He felt embarrassed as he stepped down from the hatch.

0:03:11 > 0:03:14Through the photographers and cameramen,

0:03:14 > 0:03:16Mrs Brains came running.

0:03:16 > 0:03:19"Our beautiful little baby," sighed Mrs Brains,

0:03:19 > 0:03:21as she lifted him into the air.

0:03:21 > 0:03:24"Our brave little baby," said Mr Brains.

0:03:24 > 0:03:27"Can we go home?" said Baby Brains.

0:03:27 > 0:03:30At home, Mrs Brains gave Baby Brains a warm bath,

0:03:30 > 0:03:32which made him feel a lot better.

0:03:32 > 0:03:35Mr Brains tickled him, which made him laugh.

0:03:35 > 0:03:38And then Mrs Brains sang Baby Brains to sleep.

0:03:38 > 0:03:42Then they gently laid him down in the brand-new cot.

0:03:42 > 0:03:45It was good to have their baby home again.

0:03:45 > 0:03:48"Our very own Baby Brains," whispered Mrs Brains.

0:03:48 > 0:03:52From that day on, Baby Brains spent most of his time at home

0:03:52 > 0:03:55doing things that most babies do.

0:03:55 > 0:03:57Except, that is, at weekends,

0:03:57 > 0:04:01when he still liked to help out at the local hospital.
