0:00:36 > 0:00:38he found an aeroplane.

0:00:38 > 0:00:40He didn't remember leaving it in there

0:00:40 > 0:00:43but he thought he'd take it out for a go, right away.

0:00:45 > 0:00:48The plane lifted off the ground and up into the sky,

0:00:48 > 0:00:51higher and higher and higher.

0:00:52 > 0:00:56Suddenly, the plane spluttered.

0:00:56 > 0:00:58It had run out of petrol.

0:01:01 > 0:01:04Now the boy was stuck on the moon.

0:01:04 > 0:01:06What was he to do?

0:01:06 > 0:01:11He was all alone and afraid and soon his torch began to go out.

0:01:24 > 0:01:26he landed on the moon...

0:01:26 > 0:01:28with a bump!

0:01:28 > 0:01:32Both the boy and the Martian could hear noises in the dark

0:01:32 > 0:01:35and both feared the worst.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38But as their eyes got used to the dark,

0:01:38 > 0:01:41they both realised they'd met someone else in trouble.

0:01:41 > 0:01:44They weren't alone any more.

0:01:45 > 0:01:49The boy showed the Martian his empty petrol tank.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53And the Martian showed the boy his broken engine.

0:02:00 > 0:02:04The boy jumped down to Earth to get the things they would need,

0:02:04 > 0:02:07right down into the sea,

0:02:07 > 0:02:08and swam towards home.

0:02:10 > 0:02:12But by the time he got there,

0:02:12 > 0:02:13the boy was tired out

0:02:13 > 0:02:18so he sat in his favourite chair, just to catch his breath.

0:02:18 > 0:02:20His favourite programme was just starting

0:02:20 > 0:02:22and he settled down to watch.

0:02:26 > 0:02:29Suddenly, he remembered what he should be doing

0:02:29 > 0:02:33and rushed off to the cupboard to get what he needed.

0:02:33 > 0:02:35- He ran outside and shouted.- Hello!

0:02:35 > 0:02:39But there was no reply, he couldn't be heard.

0:02:39 > 0:02:41The boy climbed to higher ground,

0:02:41 > 0:02:45called again and waited.

0:02:45 > 0:02:47This time, a rope was lowered.

0:02:48 > 0:02:52The boy began to climb and the Martian began to pull

0:02:52 > 0:02:55and soon the boy was back on the moon.

0:02:55 > 0:03:00The boy fixed up the Martian's engine with the right spanner

0:03:00 > 0:03:03and the Martian filled the boy's petrol tank.

0:03:04 > 0:03:07They said goodbye and thanked each other for their help.

0:03:07 > 0:03:11They wondered if they'd ever meet again.

0:03:12 > 0:03:17After a long night, they were both finally off the moon.

0:03:17 > 0:03:21The boy went one way and the Martian went another,

0:03:21 > 0:03:24both on their way back home.

0:03:24 > 0:03:27But that isn't quite the end of the story.

0:03:27 > 0:03:31Sometime later, there was a knock at the boy's door.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33A parcel was delivered.

0:03:33 > 0:03:36The Martian hadn't forgotten his friend from Earth.
