1:02:50 > 1:02:57.
1:03:02 > 1:03:05CBeebies Bedtime Story.
1:03:08 > 1:03:11Hello. I'm Louise. I've just found this suitcase.
1:03:11 > 1:03:15It's got some very special things inside.
1:03:15 > 1:03:18Do you know who it belongs to? No, me neither.
1:03:18 > 1:03:21Perhaps tonight's bedtime story will help us to find out.
1:03:21 > 1:03:24Would you like to hear it?
1:03:24 > 1:03:25You would? That's great!
1:03:25 > 1:03:29Tonight's story is called, Just Right For Two,
1:03:29 > 1:03:33and it's by Tracey Corderoy and Rosalind Beardshaw.
1:03:33 > 1:03:35Dog had a big blue suitcase.
1:03:35 > 1:03:38He took it with him everywhere.
1:03:38 > 1:03:41Inside were all his special things.
1:03:41 > 1:03:46A bumpy little fir cone, a pebble, sparkly and small,
1:03:46 > 1:03:50some dancing leaves, a really good stick,
1:03:50 > 1:03:52a soft, tickly feather
1:03:52 > 1:03:55and a big red, shiny button.
1:03:55 > 1:03:58With his special things safely packed away,
1:03:58 > 1:04:00Dog watched the moon rise.
1:04:00 > 1:04:04"I have everything I need," he told the stars,
1:04:04 > 1:04:07then he snuggled down on his big blue suitcase,
1:04:07 > 1:04:11which was just the right size for one.
1:04:11 > 1:04:13But next morning when he woke,
1:04:13 > 1:04:17someone else was sleeping on his big blue suitcase, too.
1:04:17 > 1:04:21"Hey! You can't sleep on here!" cried Dog.
1:04:21 > 1:04:25"Oh, why not?" asked Mouse.
1:04:25 > 1:04:29"Because all my special things are in there," Dog said.
1:04:29 > 1:04:32"Can I have a peep inside?" asked Mouse.
1:04:32 > 1:04:34"Then I'll go, I promise."
1:04:34 > 1:04:39"Just one tiny peep, then," nodded Dog.
1:04:39 > 1:04:44Mouse...peeped inside at Dog's special things.
1:04:44 > 1:04:48"I have everything I need in here," Dog said.
1:04:48 > 1:04:52"Thank you for showing me, Dog," smiled Mouse.
1:04:52 > 1:04:55"Now, before I go, how about a game of hide-and-seek?"
1:04:55 > 1:04:58Dog thought.
1:05:00 > 1:05:03"Well, just one tiny game," he said.
1:05:03 > 1:05:07So Dog and Mouse played one tiny game.
1:05:07 > 1:05:10Then a much bigger one.
1:05:10 > 1:05:12"Found you!" laughed Dog.
1:05:12 > 1:05:16"Oh, playing is quite fun really."
1:05:16 > 1:05:21Later, when Mouse went on his way, the wood felt suddenly quiet.
1:05:23 > 1:05:27To cheer himself up, Dog opened his suitcase
1:05:27 > 1:05:31and gazed at his special things.
1:05:31 > 1:05:36But, "Oh," he sighed, "something doesn't feel right.
1:05:36 > 1:05:39"Maybe Mouse will know what it is."
1:05:39 > 1:05:42So Dog set off to find him.
1:05:42 > 1:05:45Luckily, Mouse was not far away.
1:05:45 > 1:05:49"Oh, Dog," cried Mouse, "you look sad. What's wrong?"
1:05:49 > 1:05:53"Well," said Dog, "I thought I had everything I needed in my suitcase,
1:05:53 > 1:05:57"but now I think I need something else. What can it be?"
1:05:57 > 1:05:58Dog was so puzzled.
1:05:58 > 1:06:03"Don't worry," smiled Mouse, "whatever it is, we'll find it."
1:06:03 > 1:06:06So Dog searched one way and Mouse searched the other.
1:06:06 > 1:06:10Both trying to find the something else Dog needed.
1:06:10 > 1:06:14On and on and on they searched, until... Bump!
1:06:14 > 1:06:18"It's you," cried Dog, scooping up his friend.
1:06:18 > 1:06:21"You're the special something else I need."
1:06:21 > 1:06:24"Me?" wondered Mouse, "But I'm nothing special."
1:06:24 > 1:06:28"You're you," smiled Dog, "and that's very special."
1:06:29 > 1:06:32Later, they shared juicy apples for supper.
1:06:32 > 1:06:36"Thank you, Dog," beamed Mouse. "I've had the best day ever!"
1:06:36 > 1:06:42"Me, too," nodded Dog, with a great big sticky smile.
1:06:42 > 1:06:47From then on, Dog and Mouse watched the moon rise together.
1:06:47 > 1:06:51They sat side by side on the big blue suitcase,
1:06:51 > 1:06:55which was, actually, just the right size for two.
1:06:58 > 1:07:01That story was called, Just Right For Two.
1:07:01 > 1:07:03I'm so glad Dog found what he was missing.
1:07:03 > 1:07:08There's nothing more special, is there, than a very good friend?
1:07:08 > 1:07:12It's time for you to snuggle up with your teddy and go to sleep.
1:07:12 > 1:07:15I'd better get this suitcase back to Dog and Mouse.
1:07:15 > 1:07:19They'll be wanting to sit on it to watch the moon rise tonight.
1:07:19 > 1:07:21See you soon. Night-night.
