0:00:27 > 0:00:30whose day starts badly and...

0:00:30 > 0:00:33well, it gets worse and worse.

0:00:33 > 0:00:35You ready to hear all about it?

0:00:35 > 0:00:40This story is called My Big Shouting Day!,

0:00:40 > 0:00:43and it's by Rebecca Patterson.

0:00:45 > 0:00:50Yesterday, I woke up and Bob was crawling around my room,

0:00:50 > 0:00:52licking my jewellery!

0:00:52 > 0:00:55So I shouted, "Get out of my room!"

0:00:56 > 0:01:00And that was the start of my BIG SHOUTING DAY!

0:01:01 > 0:01:05Then, I came downstairs and I saw that egg!

0:01:07 > 0:01:11I cried and cried and I said, "I can't eat that!"

0:01:13 > 0:01:16And Mummy said, "You could eat it last week.

0:01:16 > 0:01:20"Look at Bob eating his mashed banana."

0:01:20 > 0:01:25After the terrible egg, I didn't like my shoes either.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29So I took them off all by myself, shouting, "No shoes!"

0:01:31 > 0:01:34And then we had to go shopping and Mummy said,

0:01:34 > 0:01:39"Please stop wriggling, Bella." But I couldn't stop wriggling

0:01:39 > 0:01:42and in the end I shouted, "Get me out!"

0:01:42 > 0:01:46Mummy said, "You will give Bob an earache,

0:01:46 > 0:01:48"and you're giving me a headache."

0:01:48 > 0:01:51And Bob poked me and said, "Ear."

0:01:52 > 0:01:55At lunchtime, Sasha and her mummy came to play

0:01:55 > 0:02:00and to have some peanut butter and grapes and a biscuit,

0:02:00 > 0:02:02but my biscuit broke!

0:02:03 > 0:02:05Then I couldn't play nicely

0:02:05 > 0:02:10and I kept saying, "No, you can't be princesses!"

0:02:10 > 0:02:13And in the end, Sasha and her mummy went home.

0:02:15 > 0:02:18In the afternoon, it was my ballet lesson.

0:02:18 > 0:02:22I said, "Ballet is too itchy!"

0:02:23 > 0:02:27But I was a bit loud and Mrs Clark stopped playing the piano

0:02:27 > 0:02:30and Miss Louisa said, "Dear, oh, dear.

0:02:30 > 0:02:34"Perhaps you should sit in the corner then."

0:02:34 > 0:02:38On the way home, we met the lady who lives next door

0:02:38 > 0:02:42and she said that Bob was the sweetest thing she'd seen all day,

0:02:42 > 0:02:45and then she said, "And how is Bella?"

0:02:45 > 0:02:48I was a long way behind, so I had to shout,

0:02:48 > 0:02:51"I have a hurting foot!"

0:02:51 > 0:02:54And Mummy said could I keep my voice down

0:02:54 > 0:02:57and could I please stop lying on pavements?

0:02:58 > 0:03:03Then it was time for my tea and my bath, but those peas were too hot!

0:03:04 > 0:03:07And our bath was too cold!

0:03:09 > 0:03:11And I was too wet!

0:03:12 > 0:03:15And it was too minty!

0:03:18 > 0:03:20After that, I rolled and rolled and said,

0:03:20 > 0:03:23"No bed! No! No!

0:03:23 > 0:03:26"No, no bed!

0:03:26 > 0:03:28"No! No!"

0:03:28 > 0:03:32And Mummy said, "Well, I think someone needs to go to bed."

0:03:32 > 0:03:37But I rolled all over my room and then I rolled into Bob's room

0:03:37 > 0:03:40and I said, "Bed is for babies!"

0:03:41 > 0:03:44And then I yawned...a little yawn

0:03:44 > 0:03:47and then I crawled into my room

0:03:47 > 0:03:50and Mummy said, "Who wants a story?"

0:03:50 > 0:03:52And I said, "Nobody!"

0:03:54 > 0:03:58But she came into my room anyway and we cuddled up

0:03:58 > 0:04:01and I had my best story about fairies and cake.

0:04:05 > 0:04:07I yawned again

0:04:07 > 0:04:10and I said very quietly...

0:04:10 > 0:04:14"Today was a big shouting day, Mummy. Sorry."

0:04:15 > 0:04:20And she kissed me good night... and said,

0:04:20 > 0:04:23"I know. We all have those days sometimes,

0:04:23 > 0:04:27"but perhaps you'll be more cheerful tomorrow."

0:04:27 > 0:04:29And I was!

0:04:29 > 0:04:32I was! I was cheerful...

0:04:32 > 0:04:34all day long!

0:04:42 > 0:04:45And it was, wasn't it?

0:04:45 > 0:04:49It was very big, and incredibly shouty, but you know what?

0:04:49 > 0:04:54In the end, a good night's sleep made all the difference, didn't it?
