0:00:43 > 0:00:46"I don't like groovy dancing," said Alfredo.
0:00:46 > 0:00:50"You've got to like groovy dancing!" replied Marty.
0:00:50 > 0:00:52"It's a groovy world, Alfredo!"
0:00:53 > 0:00:57"But everyone laughs at me," Alfredo told him.
0:00:57 > 0:01:00"Not any more they won't," said Marty.
0:01:00 > 0:01:04"Because I can teach you everything you need to know."
0:01:04 > 0:01:09"OK," nodded Marty when he arrived at Alfredo's house.
0:01:09 > 0:01:12"There are three ways of groovy dancing in the world

0:01:58 > 0:02:03"It's called the speedy heebie-jeebies," said Marty.

0:02:43 > 0:02:48"Let's try the next way of groovy dancing," suggested Alfredo.

0:02:51 > 0:02:56"silky smooth moving and grooving," said Marty.

0:03:37 > 0:03:42At the party, the rhythm took control of Marty no problem.
0:03:42 > 0:03:45He bent his knees, he did a shimmy-shammy-shuffle
0:03:45 > 0:03:48and he made sudden cool moves.
0:03:48 > 0:03:52"Let's dance, Alfredo!" called out Rick.
0:03:52 > 0:03:56But Alfredo sat down with some others who were sitting down.
0:03:56 > 0:04:00"I can't dance because I'm too hot," he said.
0:04:00 > 0:04:04Marty and Rick started doing the speedy heebie-jeebies.
0:04:04 > 0:04:08"It's a groovy world, Alfredo!" called out Marty.
0:04:10 > 0:04:12"I know, but I can't dance
0:04:12 > 0:04:16"because I need to go to the toilet," said Alfredo.
0:04:16 > 0:04:20When he came back, some of the others who'd been sitting down
0:04:20 > 0:04:22were standing up and dancing.
0:04:22 > 0:04:25The music did seem to be very groovy.
0:04:25 > 0:04:28Alfredo started to tap his toes.
0:04:28 > 0:04:32In fact, he felt as if the rhythm might be taking control.
0:04:32 > 0:04:35So he got up. He swayed his hips.
0:04:35 > 0:04:38"That's it, Alfredo!" called out Marty.
0:04:38 > 0:04:42He tapped his toes. "Yeah!" said Rick.
0:04:42 > 0:04:45He tried some smoochy coochy hand movements.
0:04:45 > 0:04:47"You've got it!" nodded Marty.
0:04:47 > 0:04:51Alfredo checked to make sure his feet were still on the ground
0:04:51 > 0:04:53then he spun around and he went
0:04:53 > 0:04:56jump, jump, jump! BOING BOING BOING
0:04:58 > 0:05:01Alfredo squeezed his eyes shut.
0:05:01 > 0:05:04He knew he was green with embarrassment.
0:05:04 > 0:05:08He knew he looked like a duck on a trampoline.
0:05:08 > 0:05:11He knew everyone was going to laugh.
0:05:12 > 0:05:14But he couldn't hear laughing.

0:05:22 > 0:05:24even some of the ones who'd been sitting down.
0:05:24 > 0:05:30Soon, just about everybody at the party was jumping like Alfredo.
0:05:30 > 0:05:35And when Marty and Rick saw what was going on, they started jumping too.
0:05:35 > 0:05:39"This is pretty good when you actually try it!" called out Marty.
0:05:39 > 0:05:43"It's the fourth way of groovy dancing!" added Rick.
0:05:43 > 0:05:45"I know," said Alfredo.
0:05:45 > 0:05:49"It's called the jump, jump, jumping jive!"

0:05:53 > 0:05:58That was a great party and everyone loved Alfredo's dance moves.
