0:00:18 > 0:00:20with pictures by Tom Lichtenheld.
0:00:22 > 0:00:24Down in the big construction site,
0:00:24 > 0:00:26the tough trucks work with all their might,
0:00:26 > 0:00:30to build a building, make a road, to get the job done load by load.
0:00:30 > 0:00:32DRILL!
0:00:32 > 0:00:35The sun is set and the work is done.
0:00:35 > 0:00:37It's time for trucks to end their fun.
0:00:37 > 0:00:43So one by one they'll go to bed, to yawn and rest their sleepy heads,
0:00:43 > 0:00:48then wake up to another day of rough-and-tough construction play.
0:00:48 > 0:00:52Working hard to help his team, Crane Truck raises one last beam.
0:00:52 > 0:00:56Reaching, stretching, lifting high, he swings the beam into the sky.
0:00:57 > 0:01:02He'll set it down right on its mark, then off to bed, it's almost dark.
0:01:03 > 0:01:06He slowly folds his boom back in,
0:01:06 > 0:01:08then with one last sleepy grin
0:01:08 > 0:01:11he tucks himself in nice and tight,
0:01:11 > 0:01:14then cuddles up and says goodnight.

0:01:25 > 0:01:29Now he's weary and so dizzy from the fun that keeps him busy.
0:01:31 > 0:01:34With one last spin, he pours the load.
0:01:34 > 0:01:35He's ready now to leave the road.
0:01:35 > 0:01:38He takes a bath, gets shiny bright,
0:01:38 > 0:01:41pulls up his chute, turns off his light.
0:01:41 > 0:01:44He cuts his engine, slows his drum,

0:02:01 > 0:02:04then dumps it with a happy face.
0:02:04 > 0:02:07One final load spills on the heap.
0:02:07 > 0:02:10Now Dump Truck's tired and he wants to sleep.

0:03:09 > 0:03:14A few more holes to dig and soon he'll roll to bed beneath the moon.
0:03:14 > 0:03:16He twirls upon his bumpy track,
