0:00:37 > 0:00:41Until at the door, came a rat-a-tat-tat!
0:00:41 > 0:00:45And there stood Aunt Flo with her marvellous hat.
0:00:46 > 0:00:50"I'm late for the dentist," said Mum. "I must go."
0:00:50 > 0:00:54"But you stay and play with your dear Auntie Flo."
0:00:54 > 0:00:58Her aunt gave a smile. "You won't be bored, Ellie!
0:00:58 > 0:01:01"I've brought you a pair of fantabulous wellies."

0:01:27 > 0:01:31But as she jumped in, a strange creature jumped out.

0:01:35 > 0:01:39"My wellies are magic!" cried Ellie with glee.

0:01:42 > 0:01:46"I'm a Flibberty Gibberty, hip-hip-hooray!
0:01:46 > 0:01:50"I'm out of my puddle and ready to play.
0:01:51 > 0:01:56"Let's wriggle, let's giggle, let's skip to the sky!
0:01:56 > 0:01:59"Play hippity hop-scotch, and flap till we fly.
0:01:59 > 0:02:03"Let's zippity-zoom, that's just what I like,"
0:02:03 > 0:02:07the Flibberty said as he hopped on the bike.
0:02:07 > 0:02:12But after a while, Ellie ran out of puff. "I'm tired," she said.
0:02:12 > 0:02:15"Haven't you had enough?"
0:02:15 > 0:02:19"Nonsense and flip flap!" the Flibberty said.
0:02:19 > 0:02:22"No time for flap-flapping, come stand on your head!"
0:02:25 > 0:02:26A thought came to Ellie.
0:02:26 > 0:02:28"Let's go in and eat."
0:02:28 > 0:02:32The Flibberty clapped, "A splendiddily treat!"
0:02:32 > 0:02:35He darted inside, flinging open the door,
0:02:35 > 0:02:40and emptied the fridge out on Mum's kitchen floor!
0:02:40 > 0:02:43"Let's juggle with jam and jiggle with jelly!
0:02:43 > 0:02:46"Let's guzzle and gobble," he giggled to Ellie.
0:02:48 > 0:02:52She looked at the floor. "We should tidy away."
0:02:52 > 0:02:56But Flibberty said, "Why? There's still time to play!"
0:02:57 > 0:03:01"Let's zoom through the rooms, bounce a bounce on the beds.
0:03:01 > 0:03:05"Let's flubble with bubbles and wear pants on our head!"
0:03:06 > 0:03:10Then Auntie Flo called, "That was Mum on the phone.
0:03:10 > 0:03:13"She rang up to say that she's on her way home."
0:03:13 > 0:03:15"Home?!" squeaked Ellie.
0:03:15 > 0:03:17"But look at this mess!
0:03:17 > 0:03:20"Oh, put down that lipstick and take off that dress!
0:03:20 > 0:03:24"We've both turned the house upside down everywhere,
0:03:24 > 0:03:26"but I'll be in trouble.
0:03:26 > 0:03:28"That just isn't fair."
0:03:29 > 0:03:30The Flibberty blushed.
0:03:30 > 0:03:34"From my tail to my paws,
0:03:34 > 0:03:37"I'm most muchly sorry for trouble I cause."
0:03:39 > 0:03:43Ellie couldn't stay cross as she watched her friend bow.
0:03:43 > 0:03:46But she needed a plan and she needed it now.
0:03:47 > 0:03:49"I know!" said Ellie.
0:03:49 > 0:03:53"Now listen to me. If we tidy together, how fast could we be?"
0:03:55 > 0:03:57The Flibberty clapped.
0:03:57 > 0:04:02"We'll be quick as a flick and tidy in half of a tickety-tick."
0:04:02 > 0:04:05The magical wellies made Ellie's feet zoom!
0:04:07 > 0:04:10And soon, they had straightened up ALL of the rooms.
0:04:12 > 0:04:15Then they ran to the garden and found Flibberty's puddle.
0:04:15 > 0:04:18"I'm glad you could play."
0:04:18 > 0:04:19Ellie gave him a cuddle.
0:04:21 > 0:04:24"So fabbity-funderful," her new friend said.
0:04:24 > 0:04:28"But now I am ready for snoozles in bed."
0:04:30 > 0:04:35They held hands and jumped, with a fabulous SPLASH!
0:04:35 > 0:04:38And Flibberty vanished, as quick as a flash.
0:04:38 > 0:04:41Just then, Mum appeared, with Aunt Flo at her side.
0:04:41 > 0:04:45"Nice wellies," said Mum, "Are you coming inside?"
0:04:45 > 0:04:47"Oh, no," Ellie said,
0:04:47 > 0:04:52"I would much rather stay and play in our puddly garden all day.
0:04:52 > 0:04:54"Now I'm off for another adventure,"
0:04:54 > 0:04:59said Ellie. "More fantabulous fun with my magical wellies."
0:05:02 > 0:05:04What a wonderful adventure.
0:05:04 > 0:05:09I love splashing in puddles and looking at my reflection in them.
