0:15:57 > 0:16:00Daisy's dad takes her to Little Nippers Nursery

0:16:02 > 0:16:07At eight o'clock he calls upstairs, "Are you ready, Princess?"
0:16:07 > 0:16:10And Daisy calls back, "Yes, Daddy, let's go!"
0:16:10 > 0:16:14They climb into the car and Daddy says, "All safe and belted up?"
0:16:14 > 0:16:17And Daisy says, "Yes, Daddy, let's go!"
0:16:17 > 0:16:21In a go-when-the-lights-are-green VROOM of the engine,
0:16:21 > 0:16:24they get to the nursery in no time.
0:16:24 > 0:16:26Then, after a big cuddle,
0:16:26 > 0:16:30Daisy waves goodbye until her daddy's car disappears.
0:16:30 > 0:16:33And for just a little bit longer after that.
0:16:33 > 0:16:36At nursery, Daisy has three best friends,
0:16:36 > 0:16:38Dexter, Evie and Bob.
0:16:38 > 0:16:43They always play together and talk about important things they know.
0:16:43 > 0:16:47One Tuesday, when they were building a giant sandcastle,

0:17:07 > 0:17:10"Well," said Evie. "My daddy is a doctor.

0:17:13 > 0:17:17"and he listens to their hearts go BOOM-BOOM, BOOM-BOOM.
0:17:17 > 0:17:20"And he has 14 pencils in a tub."
0:17:20 > 0:17:25And then Bob said, "Well, my daddy is a teacher.

0:17:27 > 0:17:30"and he knows everything about everything,

0:17:39 > 0:17:43"Hmmm," thought Daisy. "What does my daddy do?"
0:17:43 > 0:17:48Daisy knew that Daddy left in the morning in a smart stripy suit,
0:17:48 > 0:17:52wearing nice shiny shoes that go CLICK on the floor.
0:17:52 > 0:17:57He always took a case, the one that pops open when the numbers match.
0:17:57 > 0:18:01She knew that he came back at 5.25 to pick her up
0:18:01 > 0:18:05and say, "Hello, Sweetheart. Have you had a nice day?"
0:18:05 > 0:18:08But what about the time in-between?
0:18:08 > 0:18:11"What does Daddy do?" thought Daisy.
0:18:11 > 0:18:12"What DOES Daddy do?"
0:18:12 > 0:18:14And then she remembered.
0:18:14 > 0:18:18"My daddy is an explorer," said Daisy.
0:18:18 > 0:18:20"Is he?" said Evie.
0:18:20 > 0:18:22"Yes, he is!" said Daisy.
0:18:22 > 0:18:25"He climbs to the highest of high-up places
0:18:25 > 0:18:29"because he has mountains of paperwork to get on top of.
0:18:29 > 0:18:32"Oh, and he is a knight," said Daisy.
0:18:32 > 0:18:34"Is he?" gulped Dexter.
0:18:34 > 0:18:36"Yes, he is!" said Daisy.
0:18:36 > 0:18:40"He fights a big scary monster every single day
0:18:40 > 0:18:43"because his boss is a dragon.
0:18:43 > 0:18:46"Oh! Oh! And he is a superhero!"
0:18:46 > 0:18:49"Like Superman?" gasped Bob.
0:18:49 > 0:18:51"Yes!" said Daisy.
0:18:51 > 0:18:55"Because he has to rescue people from a big boardroom
0:18:55 > 0:18:57"and he always has to fly.
0:18:57 > 0:19:01"Oh, but he has one job that is much more important."
0:19:01 > 0:19:05"What's more important than being an explorer super-knight?"

0:19:07 > 0:19:12"Well," said Daisy, "he is my daddy and that is what he does."
