0:21:50 > 0:21:57.
0:22:07 > 0:22:08Hmm, I quite like these.
0:22:08 > 0:22:11I'm not so sure about these.
0:22:11 > 0:22:15Oh, hello! I'm Sharon. I'm just hanging out the washing.
0:22:15 > 0:22:18I'm not sure whose washing it is.
0:22:18 > 0:22:20Do you know who these clothes belong to?
0:22:20 > 0:22:24Well, maybe tonight's bedtime story will help.
0:22:24 > 0:22:28The story is by Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul
0:22:28 > 0:22:31and is called Winnie's Magic Wand.
0:22:31 > 0:22:34Winnie the witch jumped out of bed.
0:22:34 > 0:22:36It was a special day.
0:22:36 > 0:22:39It was the day of the witches' magic show.
0:22:39 > 0:22:42Winnie was making a wonderful new spell.
0:22:42 > 0:22:43Ooh, she felt nervous!
0:22:43 > 0:22:46"I hope nothing goes wrong," she said.
0:22:46 > 0:22:48Wilbur felt nervous too.
0:22:48 > 0:22:51"I expect something will go wrong," he thought.
0:22:51 > 0:22:53"What shall I wear?" said Winnie.
0:22:53 > 0:22:55She got out her party dress.
0:22:55 > 0:23:00Oh! Oh, no! She had spilt red jelly on it!
0:23:00 > 0:23:03Winnie threw the dress into the washing machine
0:23:03 > 0:23:08and then she threw in her towels, her pyjamas and her stripy tights.
0:23:08 > 0:23:13She turned on the washing machine. Swish, swish, clunk, it went.
0:23:13 > 0:23:17When the machine had finished going swish, swish, clunk,
0:23:17 > 0:23:21Winnie took out the clothes and hung them on the line.
0:23:21 > 0:23:24But her magic wand had been washed as well! Oh, no!
0:23:24 > 0:23:28Oh! "I hope it still works," Winnie said.
0:23:28 > 0:23:30Winnie dried the wand with a towel.
0:23:30 > 0:23:32"I'll try it out," she said.
0:23:32 > 0:23:37"Something easy. I'll change this apple into an orange."
0:23:37 > 0:23:44She closed her eyes, waved her wand and shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"
0:23:45 > 0:23:49Suddenly, there was an apple tree growing in her kitchen!
0:23:49 > 0:23:52"Bother!" said Winnie.
0:23:52 > 0:23:54"That wand's not working properly!"
0:23:54 > 0:23:59Winnie dried the wand with her hairdryer. "That's better," she said.
0:23:59 > 0:24:04"I'll try again. I'll turn this apple tree back into an apple again."
0:24:04 > 0:24:10She picked up the wand and shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"
0:24:10 > 0:24:15This time, the apple tree turned into an enormous apple pie!
0:24:15 > 0:24:18"Oh, no, oh, no!" Winnie moaned.
0:24:18 > 0:24:20Now she was really worried.
0:24:20 > 0:24:23It was nearly time for the magic show
0:24:23 > 0:24:26and the wonderful new spell would be a disaster.
0:24:26 > 0:24:28Wilbur was worried too.
0:24:28 > 0:24:31Then Wilbur had an idea.
0:24:31 > 0:24:34He ran out of the house, down the road and into the town.
0:24:34 > 0:24:38Perhaps he could find a new wand for Winnie.
0:24:38 > 0:24:40He looked in all the shops,
0:24:40 > 0:24:42but no magic wands.
0:24:42 > 0:24:47Then, around the corner, he saw a little shop.
0:24:47 > 0:24:51In the window was a big box of wands!
0:24:51 > 0:24:56Wilbur grabbed one and galloped off home. It was getting late.
0:24:56 > 0:24:59Soon, it would be too late for the magic show.
0:24:59 > 0:25:02Winnie was very, very worried. What could she do?
0:25:02 > 0:25:06Then Wilbur ran through the cat flap with the new wand!
0:25:06 > 0:25:11"Oh, Wilbur!" cried Winnie. "You are a clever cat!"
0:25:11 > 0:25:14She didn't even have time to put on her party dress.
0:25:14 > 0:25:16She jumped on her broomstick,
0:25:16 > 0:25:20Wilbur jumped onto her shoulder and off they went.
0:25:20 > 0:25:23They arrived just in time for Winnie's spell.
0:25:23 > 0:25:29Everyone was feeling excited. Winnie always did something special.
0:25:29 > 0:25:31"First," announced Winnie,
0:25:31 > 0:25:36"I will turn my beautiful black cat into a green cat."
0:25:36 > 0:25:40She waved her wand and shouted, "ABRACADABRA!"
0:25:40 > 0:25:43Wilbur waited.
0:25:43 > 0:25:44Everyone waited.
0:25:45 > 0:25:47Winnie tried again.
0:25:48 > 0:25:49Nothing!
0:25:49 > 0:25:52At last, a bunch of paper flowers
0:25:52 > 0:25:56popped out of the end of the trick wand.
0:25:56 > 0:26:00GIGGLING One of the witches started to laugh.
0:26:00 > 0:26:03Soon, everyone was laughing.
0:26:03 > 0:26:06LAUGHTER They laughed and they screamed
0:26:06 > 0:26:10and they shrieked and they fell off their chairs.
0:26:10 > 0:26:12SHE LAUGHS
0:26:12 > 0:26:15"What a clever joke, Winnie!" they cried.
0:26:15 > 0:26:17"Where did you get that wand?"
0:26:17 > 0:26:19Hee-hee-hee!
0:26:20 > 0:26:24Winnie smiled, but she didn't say anything.
0:26:24 > 0:26:27And neither did Wilbur.
0:26:27 > 0:26:30And that story was called Winnie's Magic Wand.
0:26:30 > 0:26:34So that's who these clothes belong to. They belong to Winnie.
0:26:34 > 0:26:37Now, I wonder, if I waved a magic wand,
0:26:37 > 0:26:40if I can send them back to Winnie and Wilbur?
0:26:40 > 0:26:44Well, while I try, it's time for you to go to bed.
0:26:44 > 0:26:48I'll see you soon for another story. Night night.
0:26:48 > 0:26:51Now... What's the magic word?
0:26:51 > 0:26:52Oh, yes, that's right!
0:26:54 > 0:26:57Abracadabra!
