0:00:50 > 0:00:52"Why is it called Smugglers Bay?"
0:00:52 > 0:00:56"Well, in the old days, pirates used bays such as this"
0:00:56 > 0:00:59"for smuggling all sorts of naughty things"
0:00:59 > 0:01:03"in and out of their dens," explained Miss Pie to the class.
0:01:03 > 0:01:07"But everyone knows that pirates don't exist any more!"

0:01:12 > 0:01:17"will have it pinned on the school notice board for everyone to see."

0:01:22 > 0:01:25pointing to a shape in the sand.
0:01:25 > 0:01:28"It looks like a footprint," said Flinn.
0:01:28 > 0:01:30"But it's huge!"
0:01:30 > 0:01:32"Let's follow them!"
0:01:32 > 0:01:34Soon, they came to a cave,
0:01:34 > 0:01:38but at the back of the cave, the footprints stopped.
0:01:38 > 0:01:42"What's this?" said Violet
0:01:42 > 0:01:46looking at a rusty metal bar sticking out of the rock.
0:01:46 > 0:01:48"Let's see what it does," said Flinn.
0:01:48 > 0:01:53As he pulled the bar, there was a loud, creaking noise.
0:01:53 > 0:01:57"A secret doorway!" said Violet.
0:01:57 > 0:02:01"And, look, there's a passage behind it."
0:02:01 > 0:02:05The children all clambered down the passage
0:02:05 > 0:02:10and came out at the edge of a gigantic cavern.
0:02:10 > 0:02:13"Pirates!" gasped Flinn.
0:02:13 > 0:02:16"But they're not just ordinary pirates."
0:02:16 > 0:02:22"They're our old arch enemies - the pirate dinosaurs!"
0:02:22 > 0:02:26There was a pirate triceratops, pirate diplodocus,
0:02:26 > 0:02:31a pirate pterodactyl and a pirate stegosaurus.
0:02:31 > 0:02:37The dinosaurs were surrounded by lots of small, wooden trucks.
0:02:37 > 0:02:43Into these trucks, the dinosaurs were piling giant shovelfuls
0:02:43 > 0:02:49of stinky, squishy, slippery...
0:02:49 > 0:02:53"Sausage meat!" boomed a loud voice behind them.
0:02:53 > 0:02:57"For making scrumptious pirate sausages!"
0:02:57 > 0:03:02It was the ferocious Captain Tyrannosaurus Rex.
0:03:02 > 0:03:06"Didn't you know they're dinosaurs' favourite food?"
0:03:06 > 0:03:09"You little scallywags have appeared just in time"
0:03:09 > 0:03:12"to make my favourite sausages of all."
0:03:12 > 0:03:18"Scrumptious children chipolatas!"
0:03:18 > 0:03:23He grabbed Violet under one scaly arm and leapt into a passing truck.
0:03:23 > 0:03:27"Come on, gang," shouted Flinn. "Let's follow them."
0:03:27 > 0:03:32The truck sped over the tracks, twisting through narrow tunnels.
0:03:32 > 0:03:36Clickety-clack. Clickety-clack. Clickety-clack.
0:03:37 > 0:03:40Suddenly, Captain Flinn and his friends
0:03:40 > 0:03:42were catapulted high into the air
0:03:42 > 0:03:47and landed with a thump on their bottoms beside a secret lagoon!
0:03:49 > 0:03:53There in front of them was a huge pirate ship.
0:03:53 > 0:03:59On the deck was the hugest, noisiest contraption they had ever seen.
0:03:59 > 0:04:05The pirate dinosaurs were piling great loads of sausage meat
0:04:05 > 0:04:08into the machine and out of the other end.
0:04:08 > 0:04:14Giant, slimy pink sausages.
0:04:14 > 0:04:17As they worked, the dinosaurs began to sing.
0:04:17 > 0:04:20# Sizzling sausages squished in a bun
0:04:20 > 0:04:23# I long for that tingling taste on my tongue
0:04:23 > 0:04:26# Nice and spicy with cucumber cool
0:04:26 > 0:04:29# Oh, sizzling sausages do make me drool
0:04:29 > 0:04:33# But what is for dinner that nothing can beat?
0:04:33 > 0:04:36# A pirate girl sausage is quite the best treat! #
0:04:36 > 0:04:40"And I've got one right here!" roared the tyrannosaurus rex.
0:04:40 > 0:04:44"A yummy little pirate girl."
0:04:44 > 0:04:47"Attack!" shouted Captain Flinn.
0:04:47 > 0:04:50Captain Flinn ran to the sausage machine,
0:04:50 > 0:04:53but Violet had already disappeared.
0:04:53 > 0:04:57He stuck his cutlass hard into the contraption.
0:04:57 > 0:05:00Clank! Splatter! Spat!
0:05:00 > 0:05:06"You're too late," roared the T Rex lunging at Flinn with his dagger.
0:05:06 > 0:05:12"Yo-ho-ho! Yo-ho-ho! Pirate dinosaurs go,go,go!"
0:05:12 > 0:05:14And a mighty battle began.
0:05:14 > 0:05:16Captain Flinn ducked,
0:05:16 > 0:05:20grabbed the bottle of tomato ketchup out of the T Rex's pocket.
0:05:20 > 0:05:25"Take this, you smelly old stinkhead," he yelled,
0:05:25 > 0:05:29squeezing the bottle with all his might.
0:05:29 > 0:05:32"Waaaaaah!" screamed the T Rex.
0:05:32 > 0:05:38He stumbled across the deck and fell with a great thump into the water.
0:05:38 > 0:05:42Then, there was a loud roaring noise.
0:05:42 > 0:05:45"Take cover," shouted Captain Flinn.
0:05:45 > 0:05:50"The sausage machine. It's about to explode!"
0:05:50 > 0:05:53Boom!
0:05:53 > 0:05:59A jet of sludgy, wet sausage meat spurted out of the machine
0:05:59 > 0:06:02splattering all the other pirate dinosaurs
0:06:02 > 0:06:06with gloopy, stinky pink goo.
0:06:07 > 0:06:13Out of the smoke appeared a very startled bedraggled-looking Violet.
0:06:13 > 0:06:16"You're safe"" cried Captain Flinn.
0:06:16 > 0:06:19"Come on, everyone, into the dinghy."
0:06:19 > 0:06:23Tom grabbed the oars and they quickly sped away.
0:06:23 > 0:06:27In no time at all, Pearl, Tom, Violet and Flinn
0:06:27 > 0:06:29were back at the beach
0:06:29 > 0:06:33where the rest of their class were finishing off their drawings.
0:06:33 > 0:06:36Miss Pie was inspecting the children's work.
0:06:36 > 0:06:40"This is very interesting picture, Tom," she said.
0:06:40 > 0:06:43"It's the pirate dinosaurs, Miss," began Tom.
0:06:43 > 0:06:47"That's the ship and that's the giant sausage machine."
0:06:47 > 0:06:50"That's the Captain Tyrannosaurus Rex."
0:06:50 > 0:06:54"Good Lord!" exclaimed Miss Pie. "What a lot of nonsense!"
0:06:54 > 0:06:58"You certainly win the prize for the most active imagination."
0:06:58 > 0:07:01"Now everyone, it's time for lunch."
