0:01:15 > 0:01:19and welcome to day three of Celebrity Driving Academy.

0:01:19 > 0:01:22We're here to sort out our celebrities' dodgy driving

0:01:22 > 0:01:24and general bad behaviour on the roads

0:01:24 > 0:01:26because, at the end of the week,

0:01:26 > 0:01:28they'll be facing the fiendishly difficult

0:01:28 > 0:01:31Monster Superskills Challenge!

0:01:33 > 0:01:35He's driving me bananas, he is. Come on!

0:01:37 > 0:01:39Welcome back to Driving Academy, guys.

0:01:39 > 0:01:41It's day three. Are we all feeling good?

0:01:41 > 0:01:42ALL: Yeah!

0:01:42 > 0:01:45I'm looking forward to another splendid day

0:01:45 > 0:01:46here in the Driving Academy.

0:01:46 > 0:01:49Let's get things going. Shall we get the show on the road?

0:01:49 > 0:01:51- ALL: Yeah! - Shall we get this show on the road?

0:01:51 > 0:01:53- ALL: Yeah! - Let's do this!

0:01:54 > 0:01:57Coming up on day three, our rookies and parents

0:01:57 > 0:02:01are tested on their car control in the Superskills Trifle Challenge.

0:02:01 > 0:02:05The more skilful and smooth they drive, the more points they'll get.

0:02:05 > 0:02:07But, first, our rookies need a lesson.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16Today's lesson is all about controlling the car

0:02:16 > 0:02:18as smoothly as possible.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21In charge is elite driving instructor Vicky Lovell.

0:02:21 > 0:02:25She's just the woman to teach our rookies all about road safety.

0:02:25 > 0:02:28It's really important that we teach the children really good car control

0:02:28 > 0:02:32so they realise how difficult car control can be for their parents

0:02:32 > 0:02:34maybe out on the real roads.

0:02:34 > 0:02:37But don't worry - we're well away from the public, on private roads,

0:02:37 > 0:02:39and Vicky has a set of dual controls,

0:02:39 > 0:02:42so our rookies are always in safe...feet.

0:02:42 > 0:02:45Our dummies have designed a tough test of car control -

0:02:45 > 0:02:47the mini Ramp of Doom.

0:02:47 > 0:02:51The rookies have to control the clutch, accelerator and brake,

0:02:51 > 0:02:56wait for the heart-stopping tip, and then they can drive off.

0:02:56 > 0:02:58First up is boy racer Tom.

0:02:58 > 0:03:00Little bit of revs to climb the hill.

0:03:00 > 0:03:02There's a surprise - Tom's being asked to speed up!

0:03:02 > 0:03:05We haven't got any revs, so it won't go up.

0:03:05 > 0:03:09- He's on, he's on, and he's off. - Well done.

0:03:09 > 0:03:12I didn't realise. I thought I was going to break the whole car.

0:03:12 > 0:03:15That's exactly what can happen if you go over the ramp too fast

0:03:15 > 0:03:17so, Tom, you need to be careful.

0:03:18 > 0:03:20Whoo-hoo!

0:03:20 > 0:03:23That was awesome that time. That time it was so good.

0:03:23 > 0:03:26No broken car this time, but with dad Todd also being a speed lover,

0:03:26 > 0:03:28these two need to slow down

0:03:28 > 0:03:31if they want to do well in today's challenge.

0:03:31 > 0:03:33Oh, wow!

0:03:33 > 0:03:36Lucy's dad, Brian, struggled with reversing on day one,

0:03:36 > 0:03:38but was "Confident Conley" yesterday.

0:03:38 > 0:03:41And that confidence also rubbed off on Lucy.

0:03:41 > 0:03:43But she still needs to work a bit on controlling the car.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45- Keep going.- God, that scared me.

0:03:45 > 0:03:47There you go.

0:03:48 > 0:03:50And her face muscles!

0:03:50 > 0:03:52VICKY LAUGHS

0:03:52 > 0:03:54This is not funny! How can you laugh?

0:03:54 > 0:03:58That is the best "Serious Lucy" face I've ever seen.

0:03:58 > 0:04:00I can't do serious.

0:04:00 > 0:04:04Cos you can't see what's going on, it just randomly catches you.

0:04:04 > 0:04:06You just go...and it's, "Oooh!

0:04:06 > 0:04:08"Ooh, I'm going down, I'm going down."

0:04:10 > 0:04:14Tia paid attention yesterday and saved scatty Nina from the gunge.

0:04:14 > 0:04:17But Tia still seems timid about controlling the car today.

0:04:18 > 0:04:21- Ready?- Ahhhhhhhh!

0:04:23 > 0:04:25Just as she's getting more confident,

0:04:25 > 0:04:28something comes along and bursts her bubble.

0:04:28 > 0:04:30Or more precisely, her tyre.

0:04:30 > 0:04:31AIR HISSES

0:04:33 > 0:04:37- I flattened the tyre. - Sounds like it. What did you hear?

0:04:37 > 0:04:39The tyre burst.

0:04:39 > 0:04:41So, will you turn off the engine and go and have a look?

0:04:41 > 0:04:45How did you feel about ruining one of the Driving Academy cars?

0:04:45 > 0:04:48Er, sorry for the cars.

0:04:48 > 0:04:49NINA LAUGHS

0:04:49 > 0:04:53- I hope we don't have to pay for it! - Do we?!- I don't know.

0:04:59 > 0:05:02Today's Superskill is going to be a trifle difficult,

0:05:02 > 0:05:05with a giant pudding, plus a giant ramp.

0:05:05 > 0:05:09That must mean only one thing. A gigantic mess!

0:05:15 > 0:05:18This challenge is all about smooth car control.

0:05:18 > 0:05:20Each car must complete our obstacle course

0:05:20 > 0:05:22with a bowl of trifle on the roof,

0:05:22 > 0:05:25and we all know what's in trifle - cherries.

0:05:25 > 0:05:27There's hundreds of cherries spread all over the course,

0:05:27 > 0:05:31mainly in the big bowl of trifle, but also in our smaller bowls.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34Our teams have to control the car through the tight gaps,

0:05:34 > 0:05:36over the bumps and ramps,

0:05:36 > 0:05:40keeping as many cherries as they can in the pudding - simple.

0:05:40 > 0:05:41Well, not that simple.

0:05:41 > 0:05:45Whoever keeps the most cherries ends up on the top of the podium.

0:05:45 > 0:05:47Oh, but don't forget - whoever loses today

0:05:47 > 0:05:51will face the gunge and grime of the dreaded Wash of Shame.

0:05:51 > 0:05:53Casting a strict eye over all the proceedings

0:05:53 > 0:05:56will be the Academy's super-strict examiner, Sandra Dodson.

0:05:56 > 0:05:59She wants this challenge to make our drivers think.

0:05:59 > 0:06:03Over humps, over ramps, through barrels.

0:06:03 > 0:06:06It's a very, very tricky challenge.

0:06:07 > 0:06:09Before our teams face the Trifle Challenge,

0:06:09 > 0:06:11let's have a look at the leaderboard.

0:06:11 > 0:06:13After day two's action...

0:06:18 > 0:06:21First up, it's the Orange Team, and it's 12-year-old Tom.

0:06:21 > 0:06:23Both him and his dad love to speed,

0:06:23 > 0:06:25but they'll need to slow things down today.

0:06:25 > 0:06:29Tom's started sensibly. I'm impressed. Nice, Tom.

0:06:34 > 0:06:36He's now approaching the first set of bowls in the chicane.

0:06:36 > 0:06:38Each bowl contains two cherries.

0:06:40 > 0:06:42Now, if you encounter a hazard on this

0:06:42 > 0:06:44and you think you're going to knock something over

0:06:44 > 0:06:47then use your sense, reverse and reposition.

0:06:48 > 0:06:50'Tom's getting awfully close.'

0:06:50 > 0:06:52Oh, here goes the first trifle.

0:06:52 > 0:06:56'Oh, no! It's "cherry-o" to those cherries.'

0:06:56 > 0:06:58You missed that one. Well done, Tom.

0:06:58 > 0:07:01He's past the first chicane. Next obstacle - the hump.

0:07:01 > 0:07:05- Get some revs going. Right hand. - More revs.- Go on, mate.

0:07:05 > 0:07:08That's good going. He's not lost a cherry off the top yet.

0:07:08 > 0:07:11He's past the next two bowls and on to the roundabout.

0:07:11 > 0:07:14Well done, mate! You're not going to knock anything down here.

0:07:14 > 0:07:16Thomas.

0:07:16 > 0:07:18You're not going to knock anything down here.

0:07:18 > 0:07:20You need to go slowly, cos we have stuff on the roof.

0:07:20 > 0:07:23Oh, course. I forgot. What a doughnut I am!

0:07:23 > 0:07:26So, with a doughnut in the car and a pudding on top,

0:07:26 > 0:07:28next up, the trifley tricky barrels.

0:07:31 > 0:07:33No problems through the first ones.

0:07:33 > 0:07:37- What are you doing?- Which way? - Come back a bit, reverse.

0:07:37 > 0:07:40He's taking his time to get through to the second set, though.

0:07:40 > 0:07:43- But, as usual, Todd's in a rush. - Come on, come back.

0:07:43 > 0:07:46I'm coming! I'm going as quick as I can!

0:07:47 > 0:07:51Tom's going for the slow and steady approach - he's learning.

0:07:51 > 0:07:53- Oh, yes!- Yes!- Yes!

0:07:53 > 0:07:54CHEERING

0:07:54 > 0:07:56And it's paying off.

0:07:56 > 0:07:59He's through the barrels and onto the junior speed bumps.

0:07:59 > 0:08:02- Whey!- Don't worry about them,

0:08:02 > 0:08:05Let's see that again. On me head, son!

0:08:05 > 0:08:09There's some balls dropping, but so far, there's no red ones.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11Oh, spoke too soon!

0:08:11 > 0:08:12Now he's onto the Ramp of Doom.

0:08:12 > 0:08:15SANDRA: It's difficult. You have to take a certain speed,

0:08:15 > 0:08:16otherwise you won't get up.

0:08:16 > 0:08:17Keep it as straight as a die.

0:08:19 > 0:08:21Power, power, power.

0:08:21 > 0:08:23Power, power, clutch.

0:08:23 > 0:08:27You know what they say - what goes up must come down.

0:08:27 > 0:08:30And that includes the balls. But, amazingly, there's no red ones.

0:08:30 > 0:08:32Slow and steady wins the day for Tom.

0:08:32 > 0:08:34There's a little spill on the bumps,

0:08:34 > 0:08:36but it looks like the cherries stayed in the trifle

0:08:36 > 0:08:39- over the Ramp of Doom. - More revs, more revs, more revs.

0:08:39 > 0:08:42I was going round the roundabout and he was going, "Quick, quick."

0:08:42 > 0:08:44And I was just like, "No, there's a trifle on top."

0:08:44 > 0:08:47He was like, "What? What? What trifle?"

0:08:47 > 0:08:51Next, it's Todd, and can he match Tom's almost faultless round?

0:08:51 > 0:08:55Thomas was so upset yesterday. I just want him to do well.

0:08:55 > 0:08:58The bowls and barrels are not replaced for the grown-ups

0:08:58 > 0:09:01if they're knocked down by the kids, so Tom's made this easy for Todd.

0:09:03 > 0:09:07Todd zips through the chicanes and he's on to the roundabout.

0:09:07 > 0:09:10OK, slow down, slow down, slow down, slow down.

0:09:10 > 0:09:13Tom's slowing his dad down here. That's good work.

0:09:13 > 0:09:16- Do you reckon I should go straight through that way?- Slow, slow.

0:09:16 > 0:09:18He's now going through the barrel slalom.

0:09:18 > 0:09:21More good work here from father and son.

0:09:21 > 0:09:22Am I all right on your side?

0:09:22 > 0:09:24You tell me. You're my eyes on that side.

0:09:24 > 0:09:26- Are you sure I'm all right your side?- Right now you are.

0:09:26 > 0:09:29- What about that mirror? - Yeah, the mirror's fine.

0:09:29 > 0:09:31I think we're through, I think we're OK, Tom-Tom.

0:09:31 > 0:09:35- Am I all right?- Yeah you're fine. - And now it's the adult speed bumps.

0:09:35 > 0:09:40Watch the balls, here come the balls! Wahey! Here they come!

0:09:40 > 0:09:43Oh! Oh, Tom! How many am I losing?

0:09:45 > 0:09:48That's a bit fast. There go the cherries!

0:09:48 > 0:09:50Oh, Dad, that was awful.

0:09:50 > 0:09:53- Oh, well, what can you do? - Do better than that.

0:09:54 > 0:09:56This is where we lose most of them now, Tom.

0:09:56 > 0:09:58Surely he's going to slow down for the Ramp of Doom?

0:10:04 > 0:10:07'Oh, no. My goodness! What's that noise?

0:10:07 > 0:10:10'It's not just cherries on the floor. Half our car's there too!'

0:10:10 > 0:10:13That car don't sound too healthy!

0:10:13 > 0:10:14'Let's have a look at this again.

0:10:14 > 0:10:17'I think this is the moment the car meets the concrete.

0:10:17 > 0:10:19'Anyone know a good garage?'

0:10:19 > 0:10:24- You lost all of them! You're so bad! - I didn't lose all of them.

0:10:24 > 0:10:26'Thankfully, Tom seems to be taking it well.'

0:10:26 > 0:10:29Listen to the car. I think he's actually broke our car.

0:10:29 > 0:10:31All the cameras have come off.

0:10:31 > 0:10:34- What happened there with the Ramp of Doom?- I don't know.- What was that?!

0:10:34 > 0:10:37- You think you hit it a bit hard? - I might have.

0:10:37 > 0:10:38I thought I'd just let it go.

0:10:38 > 0:10:40That old boy racer came back inside me again.

0:10:40 > 0:10:43- I did good.- How do you think your dad done?- Terrible.

0:10:43 > 0:10:46So, while our dummies take away the car to be fixed,

0:10:46 > 0:10:49our judges have counted the cherries and we can reveal

0:10:49 > 0:10:51Team Orange have held on to 61.

0:10:51 > 0:10:53Right, next up we have Brian and Lucy.

0:10:53 > 0:10:56But, first, has anybody seen Sandra? Have you lot seen Sandra?

0:10:56 > 0:10:57ALL: No.

0:10:57 > 0:11:00I'm definitely going to have to put a bell on that lady.

0:11:06 > 0:11:10I bet she's in her office, isn't she? What's she doing?

0:11:12 > 0:11:14Oh, I love swimming.

0:11:14 > 0:11:19It keeps my mind clear. I can focus on road safety.

0:11:19 > 0:11:21DOORBELL RINGS Oh!

0:11:23 > 0:11:25Wait!

0:11:25 > 0:11:28There's Mr C, the chief crash test dummy.

0:11:28 > 0:11:31He has accidents so you don't have to.

0:11:31 > 0:11:32BELL DINGS

0:11:32 > 0:11:34Proceed.

0:11:34 > 0:11:36Oh, Mr Crash.

0:11:36 > 0:11:40Oh, really, Mr C!

0:11:40 > 0:11:43I can't even imagine what you've done this time.

0:11:46 > 0:11:47TINNY MUSIC PLAYS

0:11:47 > 0:11:50There's Mr C, riding his bike, listening to his headphones.

0:11:50 > 0:11:52What could possibly go wrong?

0:11:52 > 0:11:56That car wants to get by and Mr C isn't even aware it's there.

0:11:56 > 0:11:58- Don't turn, Mr C! Don't turn! - TYRES SCREECH

0:11:58 > 0:11:59Oh, no.

0:12:04 > 0:12:08Mr C, is there no limit to your stupidity?

0:12:08 > 0:12:11What would James May say?

0:12:11 > 0:12:13I wonder what James May WOULD say.

0:12:14 > 0:12:16Tell him, James.

0:12:16 > 0:12:19Never listen to music on headphones while riding a bike.

0:12:19 > 0:12:24- And...- And always look behind you before making kind of turn.

0:12:24 > 0:12:26Thank you, James.

0:12:26 > 0:12:30Remember that in future, Mr C. Now, get out. Go on.

0:12:48 > 0:12:51Back to our Superskills competition. Now it's the turn of the Blues.

0:12:51 > 0:12:53They were rubbish at reversing on day one,

0:12:53 > 0:12:55but superb at stopping yesterday,

0:12:55 > 0:12:58so which Blue Team will turn up today?

0:12:58 > 0:13:00It's Lucy first.

0:13:00 > 0:13:04Go on, Luce. So, just take your time, darling.

0:13:05 > 0:13:08Wise words from a calm and confident Brian.

0:13:08 > 0:13:09So, there's 100 cherries

0:13:09 > 0:13:13and the aim of the game is to come back with the most cherries.

0:13:13 > 0:13:15Hard.

0:13:15 > 0:13:18Hard. Nice and still. Bit too fast.

0:13:18 > 0:13:19OK.

0:13:19 > 0:13:21Oh, dear, that's bowl's bowled over

0:13:21 > 0:13:23and two cherries are down for the Blues.

0:13:23 > 0:13:26She needs to straighten up before she continues.

0:13:26 > 0:13:28Brake. Nice one.

0:13:28 > 0:13:31So, she's managed to get herself in a better position, I think.

0:13:31 > 0:13:33Yes, she's readjusted.

0:13:33 > 0:13:37- That's it - hard, hard, hard. - Oh, dear! That's another bowl down.

0:13:37 > 0:13:39That's at least four cherries that they've lost now.

0:13:39 > 0:13:40We're still OK.

0:13:40 > 0:13:43She's having no problems with the roundabout

0:13:43 > 0:13:45and now it's on to the barrels.

0:13:45 > 0:13:47These obstacles need a light touch,

0:13:47 > 0:13:50but she's being a little bit heavy on the accelerator.

0:13:50 > 0:13:53- Slow, slow, slow. Brake, brake, brake.- Oh!

0:13:53 > 0:13:56'Oh, no! She's knocked over another bowl.'

0:13:56 > 0:13:57Let's not worry about that one.

0:13:57 > 0:14:00The bowl is still there, but I think the cherries have gone.

0:14:00 > 0:14:02- Can I do up the window? - No, you're fine.- Off we go.

0:14:02 > 0:14:04Why do you want to do up the window?

0:14:04 > 0:14:07Because I don't want Ping-Pong balls coming in.

0:14:07 > 0:14:09Ping-Pong balls will not hurt.

0:14:09 > 0:14:11There goes another one.

0:14:11 > 0:14:14'I'd be more worried about the balls on the floor, Lucy.

0:14:14 > 0:14:16'She gets through the rest of the barrels with no problem.

0:14:16 > 0:14:18'Next, it's the mini speed bumps.'

0:14:18 > 0:14:21- And gently through these. - Just keep driving.

0:14:21 > 0:14:23- Yep.- Best way to go through these.

0:14:23 > 0:14:27Yeah. Just keep driving, but nice and gently. Not too hard.

0:14:27 > 0:14:29- To the right.- Yeah, to the right.

0:14:29 > 0:14:32Ooh, a few went there, boys!

0:14:32 > 0:14:34'A few cherries overboard there,

0:14:34 > 0:14:36'but now it's on to the Ramp of Doom.'

0:14:36 > 0:14:38SANDRA: Well, the strategy is, really,

0:14:38 > 0:14:40to keep it as controlled as possible.

0:14:40 > 0:14:43Watch the crash test dummy. He's going to guide you in.

0:14:45 > 0:14:48I have to say, I don't think anybody watching this

0:14:48 > 0:14:50will know how difficult this is.

0:14:50 > 0:14:53Nice and easy. So, keep coming straight.

0:14:53 > 0:14:56- And now we're going to take this nice and easy.- Can I...?

0:14:56 > 0:14:58She's at tipping point.

0:14:58 > 0:15:01And she's over! But I don't see very many reds.

0:15:03 > 0:15:06Well done, darling. That is really good. Lovely.

0:15:08 > 0:15:10Great round from Lucy there.

0:15:10 > 0:15:12She tipped over a couple of baskets early doors,

0:15:12 > 0:15:14but kept her cool on the Ramp of Doom.

0:15:14 > 0:15:16I was worried about getting hit by Ping-Pong balls.

0:15:16 > 0:15:18We should have really had crash helmets on.

0:15:18 > 0:15:20You've got Ping-Pong balls flying about.

0:15:20 > 0:15:23- They could have killed us, couldn't they?- Stop teasing me!

0:15:23 > 0:15:27- You're just like... - I wouldn't do that, would I?

0:15:27 > 0:15:28OK, Brian's next.

0:15:28 > 0:15:31Go on, Bri! 'Go on, then, Bri.'

0:15:31 > 0:15:34- Take the handbrake off. It might help!- 'Come on, Bri!'

0:15:34 > 0:15:36HORN HONKS

0:15:36 > 0:15:40'Oh, dear! Is that a sign of over-confidence?'

0:15:40 > 0:15:42- There he goes. - NADIA:- Look where you're going!

0:15:42 > 0:15:45SANDRA: He's looking confident. A bit cheeky. Hands on the wheel.

0:15:45 > 0:15:48- That's it.- It's a whisker away there, Sandra.- Oh, yes!

0:15:48 > 0:15:50Oh, very nicely done.

0:15:50 > 0:15:53'He's through the chicane like a professional.'

0:15:54 > 0:15:56Yeah, all right, Mr Crash Test Dummy.

0:15:56 > 0:15:59Don't you worry about that. I know what I'm doing.

0:15:59 > 0:16:00- They really put you off.- Yeah.

0:16:00 > 0:16:03He's round the roundabout and on to the barrels.

0:16:03 > 0:16:05- Do it gently, though.- Yeah.

0:16:05 > 0:16:07- Is that all right? - Oh, yeah, no, that one.

0:16:07 > 0:16:10Just move that out the way, thank you.

0:16:10 > 0:16:13- Does that count as a point? - No, I don't believe it does.

0:16:13 > 0:16:14That's a clever move.

0:16:14 > 0:16:17He's nudged the barrel that Lucy knocked over out of the way.

0:16:20 > 0:16:23Next, the adult speed bumps.

0:16:23 > 0:16:26Right, let's rock'n'roll. Let's go over these things.

0:16:26 > 0:16:30See if I can take it a bit easier than my mate Todd.

0:16:30 > 0:16:33- I'm happy with that. - Gotta make them... Put them off.

0:16:33 > 0:16:35I'll do weird faces and it puts them off.

0:16:36 > 0:16:39It looks like he's going to get through without any balls lost.

0:16:39 > 0:16:41I'm determined not to rush this.

0:16:44 > 0:16:45Oh, a couple of balls off there,

0:16:45 > 0:16:48but he's nearly finished with the bumps.

0:16:50 > 0:16:52Well done, Bri.

0:16:52 > 0:16:54'Just the last one to clear.

0:16:54 > 0:16:56'That's an odd angle.'

0:16:56 > 0:16:58AIR HISSES Oh, well...

0:17:02 > 0:17:04We've got a puncture!

0:17:04 > 0:17:06- Don't move, don't move, don't move. - Don't move.

0:17:06 > 0:17:08Blow out! Oh, what's going to happen here?

0:17:08 > 0:17:11I think we need a pit stop. Bring on the pit team!

0:17:16 > 0:17:17So, it looks like the dummies

0:17:17 > 0:17:19have done a good job on changing the tyre.

0:17:19 > 0:17:23- Don't you think?- Oh, what! That's like a Formula 1 pit stop, Joe.

0:17:23 > 0:17:26Come on, dummies. We've got to get on with this.

0:17:28 > 0:17:29So, the car's ready again,

0:17:29 > 0:17:32but will that blow out flatten Brian's confidence?

0:17:32 > 0:17:35We are back in the race, ladies and gentleman.

0:17:36 > 0:17:39And here we go. It's the Ramp of Doom.

0:17:39 > 0:17:41Doom, doom...

0:17:41 > 0:17:44BOTH: Doom, doom, doom.

0:17:44 > 0:17:47Check your seat belts, ladies and gentleman.

0:17:47 > 0:17:48Next, the Ramp of Doom.

0:17:48 > 0:17:52Let's just hope Brian don't do a Todd. We've only got one car left.

0:17:54 > 0:17:56He's on. He's slowly getting up.

0:17:56 > 0:17:59- Why are we going up so high? - Don't worry, darling.

0:17:59 > 0:18:01We're going to fall, we're going to fall.

0:18:01 > 0:18:02- No, we're not.- Yeah, we are.

0:18:02 > 0:18:04Yes, you are!

0:18:04 > 0:18:05- ENGINE REVS - Careful with that clutch.

0:18:05 > 0:18:07If you were wondering what a clutch is,

0:18:07 > 0:18:10it's the pedal you use to control the car at low speeds.

0:18:10 > 0:18:11If you were wondering what that smoke is,

0:18:11 > 0:18:13that's the clutch burning up.

0:18:13 > 0:18:16- Tyre smell... Eurgh!- Clutch, clutch.

0:18:19 > 0:18:21- Go on, Luce.- He's up.

0:18:23 > 0:18:26- It had better not be bad. - Hold on to the door, Luce.

0:18:29 > 0:18:33And he's off, and not many cherries lost.

0:18:33 > 0:18:34I think that was it.

0:18:34 > 0:18:37I've got to get out of here. It smells, like, disgusting.

0:18:39 > 0:18:42That was a great round there from Brian.

0:18:42 > 0:18:44Unlike Todd, he stopped as the ramp moved

0:18:44 > 0:18:46and then moved as the ramp stopped.

0:18:46 > 0:18:49That's the secret to keeping the cherries in your trifle.

0:18:49 > 0:18:50Oh!

0:18:50 > 0:18:52I have to say,

0:18:52 > 0:18:54I don't think I've ever seen anyone go over the Ramp of Doom

0:18:56 > 0:18:59- Oh, thank you very much. Bless you. - Well done.- God bless you.

0:18:59 > 0:19:02So, we've had a count-up, and at the end of that run,

0:19:02 > 0:19:05the Blues managed to keep an amazing 80 cherries in the bowl,

0:19:05 > 0:19:08putting them into the lead.

0:19:08 > 0:19:11Well, that run was anything but boring. We had a tyre burst.

0:19:11 > 0:19:14- So, well done, Blue Team. - Oh, thank you very much.

0:19:14 > 0:19:16Give yourselves a pat on the back. Congratulations.

0:19:16 > 0:19:18So, next up, we have Nina and Tia.

0:19:18 > 0:19:19First, we've got just enough time

0:19:19 > 0:19:22for a juicy, tasty little slice of the Pieway Code.

0:19:22 > 0:19:25This little book tells you everything you need to know

0:19:25 > 0:19:28about thinking safely and driving safely on the roads.

0:19:28 > 0:19:31Now, our teams have been furiously swatting up,

0:19:40 > 0:19:44This is the Pieway Code quiz - it's all about the Highway Code.

0:19:44 > 0:19:47Get an answer wrong, though, and, you guessed it, you get pied.

0:20:53 > 0:20:55Tia burst a tyre earlier on,

0:20:55 > 0:20:58so can she keep her mind in gear this afternoon?

0:20:58 > 0:21:01Remember, 80 is the score to beat.

0:21:01 > 0:21:04But 62 or more cherries is enough to avoid the gunge.

0:21:06 > 0:21:07She's a bit fast through the slalom.

0:21:07 > 0:21:10Safely past the first bowl.

0:21:10 > 0:21:13Slow down, slow down! Tia, slow down, slow down!

0:21:13 > 0:21:17- But she's hit that one.- Oh, Tia! It's OK. You're doing really well.

0:21:17 > 0:21:19Now, remember to go left, so you go round the roundabout.

0:21:19 > 0:21:21Oh, that seems to have distracted her.

0:21:21 > 0:21:23It's OK, Tia. Don't worry about it.

0:21:23 > 0:21:28You're doing very well, baby girl. Very well. Good girl.

0:21:28 > 0:21:30Remember, there's balls on top of the car too, so slow, OK?

0:21:30 > 0:21:32Are there? Oh, yeah!

0:21:32 > 0:21:36How can you forget there's a massive bowl of trifle on the roof?!

0:21:38 > 0:21:42- I'm going to go... OK, now it gets really serious.- OK.

0:21:43 > 0:21:45Oh, it's a bit tight.

0:21:47 > 0:21:49SHE SCREAMS

0:21:49 > 0:21:52Tia needs to calm down. Whatever happened to timid Tia?

0:21:57 > 0:22:00- Ignore the dummies, my love.- Sorry. - Ignore the dummies?

0:22:00 > 0:22:04I think they're trying to help. Well, apart from the dancing one.

0:22:04 > 0:22:06Steer to the right a little bit.

0:22:06 > 0:22:08To the right. Slow down, slow down...

0:22:14 > 0:22:17Keep going left, and look forward. Don't knock these two.

0:22:17 > 0:22:20- Very slow, Tia, very slow.- Ahhh!

0:22:20 > 0:22:25But that one's staying put. Now it's over to the speed bumps.

0:22:25 > 0:22:27Very slow. Well done!

0:22:27 > 0:22:29Slower, Tia, slower.

0:22:29 > 0:22:31Gently, gently, gently.

0:22:31 > 0:22:35Ah! There go the balls. But there's still some cherries in there.

0:22:35 > 0:22:38She now has to negotiate the mini Ramp of Doom.

0:22:38 > 0:22:42Now, remember, she did burst that tyre this morning in practice,

0:22:42 > 0:22:44so she may be a bit nervous.

0:22:44 > 0:22:46Good girl. This is nice. This is lovely.

0:22:49 > 0:22:51'The tension is really on Tia now.

0:22:51 > 0:22:54'She's got to forget about the burst tyre she had earlier on

0:22:54 > 0:22:56'and focus on the Ramp of Doom.'

0:23:37 > 0:23:39- Am I?- Yes, yes, yes! Ah!

0:23:39 > 0:23:40Should I go, Tia, or back off?

0:23:43 > 0:23:48- That's good, that's good. - Turn right. Turn right!

0:24:06 > 0:24:08- NINA:- All right, let's do this.

0:24:08 > 0:24:10She's out of the slalom and on to the roundabout.

0:24:10 > 0:24:13But there's the dancing dummy again. Nina, concentrate!

0:24:16 > 0:24:19Mummy, focus!

0:24:19 > 0:24:20SANDRA: I am actually hoping

0:24:20 > 0:24:23that she brings back the car in one piece, Joe.

0:24:23 > 0:24:26- Otherwise we've got to get the bus home.- Absolutely.

0:24:27 > 0:24:30Out of the roundabout, on to the barrels.

0:24:33 > 0:24:36- She's through the first set.- Ohh! - What? I know there's a barrel there!

0:24:36 > 0:24:40Now she's rolling Tia's barrel out of the way to make a clearer route.

0:24:40 > 0:24:42Now, that's allowed, as long as she does it safely.

0:24:42 > 0:24:45- My mum is driving. - Ah, she's done well there.

0:24:45 > 0:24:46SANDRA: She's done it.

0:24:48 > 0:24:50- There you go. - Well done, Dummy.- Well done.

0:24:50 > 0:24:52That's what we pay them for.

0:25:16 > 0:25:19- Just go straight a bit. Just go straight.- OK.

0:25:19 > 0:25:23This is a brilliant run. Just the dreaded Ramp of Doom left.

0:25:23 > 0:25:2580 is the score to beat.

0:25:25 > 0:25:28They've hardly lost any cherries up to this point,

0:25:28 > 0:25:30but they can easily lose the whole trifle here!

0:25:30 > 0:25:33OK, Tia, what's your advice here?

0:25:33 > 0:25:35All right, my advice is...we're doomed.

0:25:35 > 0:25:37- Just roll really gently.- OK.

0:25:37 > 0:25:39Smooth approach. And up.

0:25:39 > 0:25:40I'm going to faint.

0:25:49 > 0:25:52'But has she got more than 61 left? It's going to be close.'

0:25:52 > 0:25:55How many cherries do you think you've got left?

0:25:55 > 0:25:58I think I've probably got... I can see one.

0:25:58 > 0:25:59Well done, Green Team.

0:25:59 > 0:26:02What a day three here at Driving Academy.

0:26:02 > 0:26:06We've burst two tyres, broken a car and ruined several trifles.

0:26:06 > 0:26:09But who's won? Let's find out.

0:26:09 > 0:26:11So, teams, about this time of day
