0:01:46 > 0:01:49- Yeah!- Welcome to Celebrity Driving Academy on the penultimate day.

0:01:49 > 0:01:51Let's get motoring, shall we?

0:01:51 > 0:01:54Coming up on day four at Driving Academy...

0:01:54 > 0:01:59massive doughnuts as our teams' driving skills are put to the test

0:01:59 > 0:02:01in our Skid Stars challenge.

0:02:01 > 0:02:04The more controlled our teams can drive, the more points they'll get.

0:02:04 > 0:02:06But, first, our rookies need to learn how to drive

0:02:06 > 0:02:09in really hazardous conditions.

0:02:13 > 0:02:16All week, elite driving instructor, Vicky Lovell,

0:02:16 > 0:02:18has been teaching our rookies how to drive.

0:02:18 > 0:02:21Because you are accelerating, you are making it very difficult.

0:02:21 > 0:02:23With over 25 years of experience,

0:02:23 > 0:02:26she's one of the country's top tutors.

0:02:26 > 0:02:28We're well away from the public on private roads,

0:02:28 > 0:02:30and Vicky has a set of dual controls,

0:02:30 > 0:02:33so our rookies are always in safe hands.

0:02:33 > 0:02:35To help our teams win today's Superskills Challenge,

0:02:35 > 0:02:39Vicky will be teaching our learners how to drive in hazardous conditions.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42We've taught them how to how to react to hazards,

0:02:42 > 0:02:45but, what is better still is to spot them coming in the first place,

0:02:45 > 0:02:46and not be involved in them.

0:02:49 > 0:02:51Driving hazards come in all shapes and sizes,

0:02:51 > 0:02:54so, Vicky's starting our rookies off by teaching them how to cope

0:02:54 > 0:02:57when something unexpected happens.

0:02:57 > 0:02:59What we're going to talk about now is hazards.

0:02:59 > 0:03:00What do you think of as a hazard?

0:03:00 > 0:03:03A hazard is something to look out for,

0:03:03 > 0:03:05so that you don't end up in an accident.

0:03:05 > 0:03:07Yeah, good.

0:03:07 > 0:03:10Great! Teja's getting to grips with this hazard thing,

0:03:10 > 0:03:12unlike Mum who didn't cope at all well

0:03:12 > 0:03:15with an unexpected crash test dummy on day one.

0:03:15 > 0:03:17Oh, no...there's a person on there.

0:03:17 > 0:03:19Oh, no...I'm scared!

0:03:19 > 0:03:21- So, we're going to be expecting the unexpected.- OK.

0:03:21 > 0:03:25And Teja's already looking a lot calmer than her mum,

0:03:25 > 0:03:28but how will she cope with two pesky crash test dummies

0:03:28 > 0:03:30armed and ready to fire water balloons at her car?

0:03:32 > 0:03:36Calm down, Vick! The dummies are trying to put the learners off!

0:03:38 > 0:03:40Now, that is a hazard. Oh!

0:03:43 > 0:03:45Teja's coping brilliantly,

0:03:45 > 0:03:48but, wait a minute, I think she might have forgotten something...

0:03:48 > 0:03:50Ooh, the window's open!

0:03:52 > 0:03:55Ned's up next, and those dummies really are out to get him.

0:03:58 > 0:04:00NED HONKS THE HORN

0:04:00 > 0:04:04Pretty calm from Ned there, and great speed control unlike dad Rowland

0:04:04 > 0:04:08when he was distracted by something in the car earlier in the week.

0:04:10 > 0:04:11What is it, Ned?

0:04:12 > 0:04:13It's a bee.

0:04:17 > 0:04:19- It was the bee's fault! - Ha...that's your excuse!

0:04:19 > 0:04:21So, it's really important when you meet a hazard

0:04:21 > 0:04:23that you don't swerve and flinch away.

0:04:23 > 0:04:25You've got to keep control of the car,

0:04:25 > 0:04:28even if you are being bombarded by water balloons.

0:04:28 > 0:04:31Max's mum, Debra, got a taste of dummy distraction

0:04:31 > 0:04:34during her driving assessment on day one.

0:04:35 > 0:04:37How very dare you!

0:04:37 > 0:04:40But, son Max is taking it all in his stride.

0:04:40 > 0:04:41Hmm...don't care.

0:04:45 > 0:04:48I wouldn't call it scary...

0:04:48 > 0:04:51That a boy, Max. Who do those dummies think they are anyway?!

0:04:53 > 0:04:55So, our rookies are learning to expect the unexpected,

0:04:55 > 0:04:59but this lesson is about to be thrown into a spin by this fellow.

0:04:59 > 0:05:01Jim Hawkins is the go-to man

0:05:01 > 0:05:05when it comes to training drivers in handling lethal road conditions.

0:05:05 > 0:05:08He's trained emergency services all over the world

0:05:08 > 0:05:11using this super hi tech rig you can see attached to the car.

0:05:11 > 0:05:12How does it work Jim?

0:05:14 > 0:05:17What is does is lifts the car as you're driving it,

0:05:17 > 0:05:20so it takes grip away from the car.

0:05:20 > 0:05:22So, we can simulate them going from

0:05:22 > 0:05:24a wet road to black ice in seconds with it.

0:05:25 > 0:05:27Sounds tricky!

0:05:27 > 0:05:29Our teams will be driving this actual car later.

0:05:31 > 0:05:34Jim's going to get our rookies up to speed with skid car techniques

0:05:34 > 0:05:36with the help of expert driver, Andre.

0:05:36 > 0:05:39OK, what we're going to show you first is what happens

0:05:39 > 0:05:40if you do things wrong, OK?

0:05:40 > 0:05:42So, I'm just going to give you a couple of tips.

0:05:42 > 0:05:43What our rookies learn now is vital

0:05:43 > 0:05:46to how well they'll do in the Superskills competition later.

0:05:46 > 0:05:48So, as it goes round this circle,

0:05:48 > 0:05:52we'll just keep pressing the accelerator a little bit at a time,

0:05:52 > 0:05:55so, we'll go faster and faster, and we'll see what happens.

0:05:55 > 0:05:57Do you feel the back starting to go a little bit?

0:05:57 > 0:06:01That's simulated black ice. Nasty stuff!

0:06:01 > 0:06:05- Awesome!- So, if you go too fast that's what will happen.

0:06:05 > 0:06:07Nice gentle steering, OK?

0:06:07 > 0:06:11And not a lot of acceleration, that's the secret.

0:06:11 > 0:06:13We just got a little bit faster now.

0:06:21 > 0:06:24Feeling a bit ill's a small price to pay for all the top tips

0:06:24 > 0:06:27our rookies will now be able to share with their parents.

0:06:27 > 0:06:28What's yours, Max?

0:06:28 > 0:06:33Well, the top tip was... have very sensitive steering,

0:06:33 > 0:06:36and you need to drive very slowly.

0:06:36 > 0:06:39Great advice! Just like Ned, I'm feeling a bit dizzy,

0:06:39 > 0:06:41so I might have to go and have a little lay down.

0:06:44 > 0:06:47Ned needs to get out.

0:06:47 > 0:06:50If that wasn't enough to make your head spin, still to come...

0:06:50 > 0:06:52Mr C comes a cropper again.

0:06:52 > 0:06:54The adults are doing the Pieway Code.

0:06:54 > 0:06:58And, today's losers will be taking a spin in the Wash of Shame!

0:06:59 > 0:07:03But, before all that, it's time for our first helping of Superskills.

0:07:04 > 0:07:07This is Skid Stars... it's a game of two rounds,

0:07:07 > 0:07:10first, the teams have to steer around the games' arena,

0:07:10 > 0:07:13bursting balloons in the correct order - one to nine.

0:07:13 > 0:07:15The adults do one to five,

0:07:15 > 0:07:18then swap with the kids who do six to nine.

0:07:18 > 0:07:21It's against the clock, the slowest team from Round One

0:07:21 > 0:07:22then have to go first in Round Two.

0:07:24 > 0:07:26As ever, our chief examiner, Sandra,

0:07:26 > 0:07:29will be keeping a close eye on all the action.

0:07:29 > 0:07:33The people in that car are learning how to control the car

0:07:33 > 0:07:37on simulated conditions such as wet roads and ice.

0:07:37 > 0:07:39When you're out on the real road,

0:07:39 > 0:07:42this is a crucial part of your driving.

0:07:42 > 0:07:46And, if you get it wrong, it has tragic consequences.

0:07:46 > 0:07:48Cool, smooth cornering is vital,

0:07:48 > 0:07:52and when it's against the clock it's going to be super tricky.

0:07:52 > 0:07:55It's going to be car-nage all the way!

0:07:57 > 0:07:59They're going to take those skills with them,

0:07:59 > 0:08:03and they're going to respect driving in ice and rain forever.

0:08:05 > 0:08:07But, before our teams get cracking,

0:08:07 > 0:08:09let's have a look at the current leaderboard.

0:08:09 > 0:08:11After three days of competition,

0:08:11 > 0:08:14in joint first place with seven points apiece,

0:08:14 > 0:08:18are the Blues and the Oranges, leaving the Greens trailing on four.

0:08:18 > 0:08:20It's all still to play for!

0:08:26 > 0:08:28First up we have Rowland and Ned.

0:08:28 > 0:08:31Remember, the fastest team in Round One gains the advantage

0:08:31 > 0:08:32going into Round Two.

0:08:32 > 0:08:34Blimey!

0:08:34 > 0:08:36He's going for his first balloon!

0:08:39 > 0:08:41Balloon number one!

0:08:41 > 0:08:44He's got to be careful to keep in order, hasn't he, Joe?

0:08:44 > 0:08:46Yep, he needs to keep them in order.

0:08:46 > 0:08:49If you hit any of the balloons out of order, it's a ten second penalty.

0:08:49 > 0:08:52If you hit any of the red balloons, it's a ten second penalty.

0:08:52 > 0:08:56There's balloon number two. I can't believe this is "Reckless" Rowland!

0:08:56 > 0:08:57He's being so careful!

0:08:57 > 0:09:01Now, as you can see, the essence of this is to try not to skid.

0:09:02 > 0:09:06If you skid, and lose control, you're going to get a sensation

0:09:06 > 0:09:10of what it would be like on the real road and there, it's not funny.

0:09:10 > 0:09:12Whoa, look we're going all over the shop now.

0:09:15 > 0:09:17Yay, number four!

0:09:18 > 0:09:21He's doing a marvellous job, I've got to say.

0:09:22 > 0:09:24- The first five balloons. - That's fantastic!

0:09:24 > 0:09:27So, that's the Blue Team's first five balloons, and no penalties.

0:09:27 > 0:09:29An unusually controlled drive there from Rowland.

0:09:29 > 0:09:32As you're driving along and it starts to go that way,

0:09:32 > 0:09:35you steer to compensate, you think you're doing the right thing,

0:09:35 > 0:09:37you don't know if you are... it's trial and error.

0:09:37 > 0:09:39Next up for Team Blue, it's Ned!

0:09:39 > 0:09:43He needs to pop balloons six to nine in order as quickly as he can.

0:09:43 > 0:09:47Come on, Ned! Watch out for those reds ones.

0:09:47 > 0:09:51- Yes!- You can see how they're containing the speed.

0:09:51 > 0:09:54So far, they're treating this with real respect.

0:09:55 > 0:09:58That's number seven for cool-headed Ned.

0:09:58 > 0:10:02This a bit different from his first taste of the skid car this morning.

0:10:02 > 0:10:04He needs to stay cool and corner carefully.

0:10:05 > 0:10:07That's it, left down there sharp,

0:10:07 > 0:10:08that's it go on all the way.

0:10:10 > 0:10:12Smooth as you like! Just one to go.

0:10:12 > 0:10:17Go on, go on, go on. Yes, stop and handbrake.

0:10:17 > 0:10:19He looks like he's been doing this for years!

0:10:19 > 0:10:22And that's a respectable first round time

0:10:22 > 0:10:24of four minutes, seven seconds for Team Blue.

0:10:24 > 0:10:27I don't know if I was confident, but when I first got in,

0:10:27 > 0:10:31I was a little bit scared cos I didn't know what to expect.

0:10:31 > 0:10:33You kept away from the reds, so there's no penalties.

0:10:33 > 0:10:35Drifting towards the reds initially, very scary.

0:10:35 > 0:10:37When you're going forwards, it's great.

0:10:37 > 0:10:39When you're going sort of sideways, it's unnatural.

0:10:39 > 0:10:41How was it for you?

0:10:41 > 0:10:43It was all right.

0:10:43 > 0:10:45How did you find it going between the reds...

0:10:45 > 0:10:46did you get a bit of a slide on?

0:10:46 > 0:10:49Yeah, when I went round that one I was going a bit sideways.

0:10:49 > 0:10:52Great score...Next up we have Debra and Max, but first...

0:10:52 > 0:10:54- Have you seen Sandra?- No!

0:10:54 > 0:10:56- Have you seen Sandra?- Not for hours.

0:10:56 > 0:10:59- Has anyone seen Sandra? - Sandra?- Sandra?!

0:11:03 > 0:11:05I bet Sandra's in her office.

0:11:05 > 0:11:07Yep, there she is.

0:11:07 > 0:11:12Oh, that looks like her collection of vintage head lamps.

0:11:12 > 0:11:16The 1964 classic head lamp.

0:11:16 > 0:11:19They don't make them like you any more do they.

0:11:19 > 0:11:22I'll just get you nice and clean and tidy,

0:11:22 > 0:11:24and, then, I can pop you back in the box.

0:11:24 > 0:11:26It won't take long.

0:11:26 > 0:11:28DOORBELL RINGS

0:11:34 > 0:11:36Wait!

0:11:36 > 0:11:40Aw, it's Mr C, the Driving Academy's chief crash test dummy.

0:11:40 > 0:11:43He has accidents so you don't have to.

0:11:43 > 0:11:44PING!

0:11:44 > 0:11:46Proceed.

0:11:46 > 0:11:52Oh, in the wars again Mr C? explain yourself, dummy!

0:11:54 > 0:11:57Ah, look, there's Mr C out for a walk.

0:11:57 > 0:12:00But, does he seem a bit distracted to you?

0:12:00 > 0:12:02Oh, he's texting on his phone.

0:12:02 > 0:12:04I don't think he can see that car.

0:12:04 > 0:12:06Mr C, you better look out!

0:12:16 > 0:12:19Mr C, you are a walking disaster!

0:12:19 > 0:12:23I mean really, what would James May say?

0:12:24 > 0:12:28Tell him, James.

0:12:28 > 0:12:30- Never write text messages while you're crossing the road.- Or?

0:12:30 > 0:12:35Or indeed use any of your smartphone functions like that tweeter.

0:12:35 > 0:12:37Great advice James!

0:12:37 > 0:12:39Now, get out. Out.

0:12:58 > 0:13:00Back to our Superskills action.

0:13:00 > 0:13:04Next up, guys, we have Debra and Max.

0:13:04 > 0:13:05Good luck, guys.

0:13:05 > 0:13:08They had to take the Wash of Shame yesterday,

0:13:08 > 0:13:11so they really need to pull it out of the bag today.

0:13:11 > 0:13:13Oh, she's going quite fast.

0:13:13 > 0:13:16And Debra's off to an unusually confident start!

0:13:16 > 0:13:22- Great first balloon.- You need to keep the speed down so you don't skid.

0:13:22 > 0:13:25If you skid, you're going to lose control.

0:13:25 > 0:13:27And then where am I going? Is it there? Over there?

0:13:29 > 0:13:32Yeah, Debra. Number two normally comes after number one!

0:13:33 > 0:13:36- Great hit! - And then where are we going?

0:13:36 > 0:13:39One, two, three, Debra! Three's next!

0:13:39 > 0:13:41Oh, too much, too much, too much.

0:13:41 > 0:13:44The back end's away! Watch out for those red balloons, Debs!

0:13:45 > 0:13:48- Now where? - Really? Number four, Debs!

0:13:49 > 0:13:52Oh, I'm off, I'm off. That's all right.

0:13:57 > 0:14:01- Where?- Still lost? Unbelievable! Just follow the numbers!

0:14:01 > 0:14:02Number five's over there.

0:14:02 > 0:14:05- Thanks goodness Max knows can count to five!- Where?

0:14:05 > 0:14:07There? That's five?

0:14:07 > 0:14:09Yes...the number that comes after four!

0:14:09 > 0:14:12- Oh, oh...- Point it where you want to go.

0:14:12 > 0:14:15OK, OK. And now I can stop, yeah?

0:14:15 > 0:14:16Oh, no, it's gone.

0:14:16 > 0:14:17I'm chasing after it...

0:14:17 > 0:14:20Max got to go in the car with Jim the expert,

0:14:20 > 0:14:22so I took some advice off Max.

0:14:22 > 0:14:24Sensitive steering you said, didn't you?

0:14:24 > 0:14:26I kind of took your advice on that

0:14:26 > 0:14:27and then you just directed me after that,

0:14:27 > 0:14:30cos the weird thing is, when you're going round,

0:14:30 > 0:14:34you've got one balloon and you're thinking, "Where am I going next?"

0:14:34 > 0:14:37After watching the replay, Sandra decided it was a clean hit,

0:14:37 > 0:14:38and allowed balloon five.

0:14:38 > 0:14:40Max is up next.

0:14:40 > 0:14:41Let's hope he knows where he's going.

0:14:43 > 0:14:46He smashes balloon number six, but it hasn't burst.

0:14:46 > 0:14:49Will Sandra let it count?

0:14:49 > 0:14:50Where's number eight?

0:14:50 > 0:14:52Hold on Max, you've not got number seven yet!

0:14:56 > 0:14:59He has now! Now he's racing through it.

0:14:59 > 0:15:01This is a brilliant time.

0:15:01 > 0:15:03Watch out for that red one!

0:15:03 > 0:15:04Well done, Max.

0:15:05 > 0:15:07He's making this look easy!

0:15:07 > 0:15:09Just one to do, Max.

0:15:10 > 0:15:15Careful now. Keep it in, beautiful control. Here we go.

0:15:15 > 0:15:17He smashes it!

0:15:17 > 0:15:18The Orange Team go into the lead

0:15:18 > 0:15:22with a blistering round of three minutes, six seconds.

0:15:25 > 0:15:28We were a teensy bit worried when the balloons didn't burst.

0:15:28 > 0:15:30We thought, "Oh, I hope that still counts,"

0:15:30 > 0:15:33because we had gone into the balloons, so weren't quite sure.

0:15:33 > 0:15:38Yeah, but we weren't that alarmed we just kept going.

0:15:38 > 0:15:40You done a good job, so gives yourselves a pat on the back.

0:15:40 > 0:15:43Well done! Right, next up we have Jamelia and Teja,

0:15:43 > 0:15:44but first, we've got enough time

0:15:44 > 0:15:47for another juicy slice of Pieway Code.

0:15:53 > 0:15:57This is the Pieway Code, a quiz all about the Highway Code.

0:15:57 > 0:16:01But, get an answer wrong, and you guessed it, you get pied.

0:16:01 > 0:16:04Are you ready celebrities? And you can play at home, too.

0:16:06 > 0:16:08What does this common road marking mean?

0:16:08 > 0:16:10Here's a clue...

0:16:10 > 0:16:14It's three words and it's an instruction that must be obeyed.

0:16:14 > 0:16:16Can you fill in the blanks?

0:16:16 > 0:16:18I know this!

0:16:18 > 0:16:19OK, time's up.

0:16:21 > 0:16:23Debra's written, "I have no idea."

0:16:23 > 0:16:24Well, that's wrong!

0:16:24 > 0:16:28- Rowland's gone for... - School drop point.- Also wrong.

0:16:28 > 0:16:31And Jamelia's written "School Keep Clear"

0:16:31 > 0:16:33And she's right!

0:16:33 > 0:16:37Yes, the correct answer is "School Keep Clear."

0:16:37 > 0:16:41So, that means the dummies get a pie as well as Rowland and Debra.

0:16:45 > 0:16:47Well done, Jamelia.

0:16:47 > 0:16:51As for you Rowland and Debra, learn your Highway Code!

0:16:55 > 0:16:57Back to Superskills now...

0:16:57 > 0:17:00next up it's the Green Team, Jamelia and Teja.

0:17:02 > 0:17:07Whoa, a cheeky little doughnut from fun-loving Jamelia!

0:17:07 > 0:17:08Oh, no.

0:17:10 > 0:17:13As we've seen, she needs smooth, controlled cornering in this game.

0:17:13 > 0:17:15Oh, this is hard, isn't it?

0:17:18 > 0:17:20That's number one for the greens.

0:17:20 > 0:17:23Can she concentrate and line up for number two?

0:17:28 > 0:17:30Sorry, it really is like being on ice.

0:17:30 > 0:17:33Funny that, Jamelia. That's exactly what it's meant to feel like.

0:17:36 > 0:17:38Great smooth control there.

0:17:38 > 0:17:41She's managed to dodge those red balloons brilliantly.

0:17:42 > 0:17:45That's four. Remember, this is against the clock.

0:17:45 > 0:17:47She needs to pick up the pace a bit.

0:17:50 > 0:17:52Hee-hee, sorry!

0:17:52 > 0:17:56- Not quite that much, Jamelia! - This is so hard.

0:17:56 > 0:17:57Oh, it's wicked.

0:17:57 > 0:18:01And, so is that! Number five. Good driving.

0:18:01 > 0:18:04When I saw the other two first start off,

0:18:04 > 0:18:07it definitely looked like slow and steady won the race,

0:18:07 > 0:18:10but...I just don't know, how many times

0:18:10 > 0:18:14am I going to get the opportunity to drive in a skid car?

0:18:14 > 0:18:17So, I did go a little bit crazy.

0:18:17 > 0:18:19I had to enjoy the moment.

0:18:19 > 0:18:21So, I did a little doughnut.

0:18:21 > 0:18:22It was wicked!

0:18:24 > 0:18:25Teja's in the hot seat now.

0:18:25 > 0:18:28Let's see if she can get a clean fast round for the Greens.

0:18:30 > 0:18:34Yeah, good girl. Get it in...in the middle.

0:18:34 > 0:18:37Keep going, don't stop, don't stop, remember we're against the clock,

0:18:37 > 0:18:39Well, that's one way of staying in control!

0:18:39 > 0:18:42But, she's not going to burst many balloons, though.

0:18:42 > 0:18:43Come on, push your foot down.

0:18:44 > 0:18:46Yeah!

0:18:46 > 0:18:47Well done, Teja.

0:18:47 > 0:18:52Now, she's making absolutely certain that's she's not going to get

0:18:52 > 0:18:55into a skid, but at the moment, she's very, very slow.

0:18:55 > 0:18:57Yep, she really needs to pick up the pace here,

0:18:57 > 0:19:00or the Greens risk being last in this round.

0:19:00 > 0:19:02Go on Teja!

0:19:03 > 0:19:06Oh, oh, oh...that looks perfect!

0:19:06 > 0:19:09Excellent girl! All right, where's eight?

0:19:09 > 0:19:12Back in that corner. Right, avoid the reds.

0:19:12 > 0:19:15Great advice there from Mum. Smooth control around those penalty reds.

0:19:15 > 0:19:18Oh, you're doing excellently Teja.

0:19:18 > 0:19:20Eight is over there. That's it.

0:19:21 > 0:19:24Point where you want to go, good girl, good girl. Excellent. OK.

0:19:25 > 0:19:28Right, get your bearings.

0:19:28 > 0:19:30Oh, Teja, I'm so proud of you.

0:19:30 > 0:19:33Just one to go for the Greens. Can they beat the Blue team's

0:19:33 > 0:19:35first round time?

0:19:35 > 0:19:40Cool control from Teja, and she beats the Blues by six seconds!

0:19:40 > 0:19:43It's a total of four minutes and one second for the Greens,

0:19:43 > 0:19:45putting them in second place going into Round Two.

0:19:45 > 0:19:47Every time you turned,

0:19:47 > 0:19:52if you turned a little bit too much the car just went...whoo!

0:19:52 > 0:19:55It was a bit different to a normal car, but it was fun.

0:19:57 > 0:19:58Well done!

0:19:59 > 0:20:01Tell me about it...how was that, Teja?

0:20:01 > 0:20:04- It was a bit scary. - Was it scary?- Yeah.

0:20:04 > 0:20:06What was the difficult part about it?

0:20:06 > 0:20:08When you started swerving.

0:20:11 > 0:20:15It's so scary, it really, really is, but, it's so much fun as well.

0:20:15 > 0:20:17Well done, Green Team.

0:20:17 > 0:20:18Well, that was ice-tastic

0:20:18 > 0:20:20but I think it's time to find out what the results are.

0:20:24 > 0:20:26So, at the end of the first round of Skid Stars,

0:20:26 > 0:20:28The Oranges are in pole position

0:20:28 > 0:20:30with a time of three minutes and six seconds.

0:20:30 > 0:20:34The Greens are second with a time of four minutes and one second.

0:20:34 > 0:20:38And, the Blues are in last place on four minutes, seven seconds.

0:20:39 > 0:20:41So, the Blues will have to go first in Round Two,

0:20:41 > 0:20:43which is for our celebrities only.

0:20:43 > 0:20:45They've got just 60 seconds to burst

0:20:45 > 0:20:48as many alternate red and green balloons as possible.

0:20:49 > 0:20:52Whoever pops the most balloons wins a minute off their time,

0:20:52 > 0:20:55and the fastest time will win today's challenge.

0:20:57 > 0:20:59It's all to play for, let's go teams!

0:20:59 > 0:21:01First up, it's Rowland for the Blues.

0:21:05 > 0:21:08You've got to go from the red balloon to the green balloon,

0:21:08 > 0:21:09to red balloon to the green balloon.

0:21:13 > 0:21:1440 seconds remaining.

0:21:14 > 0:21:17- That's his first red!- My goodness! Look at your dad go!

0:21:21 > 0:21:25Oh, no! Spoke too soon, Sandra. He's stalled it!

0:21:25 > 0:21:27Aw, what!

0:21:27 > 0:21:29Oh, he's broken it.

0:21:29 > 0:21:33Come on Rowland, time's running out. and there's only one balloon burst!

0:21:38 > 0:21:40That's balloon number two.

0:21:41 > 0:21:45- And he's doughnutted it. - 20 seconds remaining.

0:21:45 > 0:21:47Oh, no, he's stalled again.

0:21:47 > 0:21:49He's wasting time by trying to rush it!

0:21:55 > 0:21:57Come on, Rowland!

0:21:58 > 0:21:595 seconds.

0:21:59 > 0:22:01Oh, he's just...

0:22:01 > 0:22:03it's not Dancing On Ice, Rowland.

0:22:03 > 0:22:05Times up.

0:22:05 > 0:22:09Cheeky...time was already up, that red one won't count!

0:22:09 > 0:22:12It's a bit like driving a car that's tired and emotional.

0:22:12 > 0:22:15It was just slipping and sliding all over the place.

0:22:15 > 0:22:16It's very disconcerting.

0:22:16 > 0:22:19You are driving along and then suddenly you think,

0:22:19 > 0:22:21"Hang on a minute, I'm not in control of this."

0:22:21 > 0:22:24Next up in Round Two is Jamelia for the Green Team.

0:22:24 > 0:22:27She needs at least two balloons or more to take the lead.

0:22:27 > 0:22:28Come on, Jamelia!

0:22:30 > 0:22:32True to form, she's off to a flying start!

0:22:35 > 0:22:37Balloon number one in less than ten seconds!

0:22:39 > 0:22:41Whoa! She's stalled it.

0:22:41 > 0:22:44And just remember, this stalling is important, Joe,

0:22:44 > 0:22:47because every adult's got to score as many balloons as possible

0:22:47 > 0:22:48in a minute.

0:22:48 > 0:22:50That's balloon number two. She's equalled the Blues.

0:22:50 > 0:22:52She's going for the next red!

0:23:00 > 0:23:02That's three she's got so far.

0:23:02 > 0:23:05She's doing really well. Oh, but she's stalled it.

0:23:07 > 0:23:0820 seconds left.

0:23:13 > 0:23:17Come on, give it some welly. There's still time for number four.

0:23:17 > 0:23:20Ten seconds.

0:23:20 > 0:23:21Ah!

0:23:22 > 0:23:23Oh, no!

0:23:27 > 0:23:28Time's up.

0:23:28 > 0:23:32Oh, no, she's out of control and she's out of time.

0:23:32 > 0:23:35That's three for the Greens. That puts them into the lead.

0:23:35 > 0:23:39It looked like someone had gone mad, she was just going round in circles.

0:23:39 > 0:23:42My aim was to burst all the balloons in a skid.

0:23:42 > 0:23:45Obviously, Rowland only popped two so I thought,

0:23:45 > 0:23:46"I've only got two to beat."

0:23:46 > 0:23:49It was wicked, I loved it, I loved it...I just has fun.

0:23:49 > 0:23:52Last to go is Debra for the Orange Team.

0:23:52 > 0:23:55They got the fastest first round time, but she'll have to equal

0:23:55 > 0:23:59or better Jamelia's three balloons to win today's challenge.

0:24:04 > 0:24:07Super smooth, controlled start from Debra.

0:24:10 > 0:24:13That's balloon number one for the Oranges.

0:24:13 > 0:24:15- Whoa!- What's she going that way for?

0:24:15 > 0:24:17She's reversing that's it.

0:24:17 > 0:24:19Oh, that's a good idea, she's reversing.

0:24:21 > 0:24:22Nope, she's missed it.

0:24:26 > 0:24:28Oh, she got it!

0:24:28 > 0:24:29Come on, Mum!

0:24:29 > 0:24:3230 seconds remaining.

0:24:32 > 0:24:35She's halfway, she just needs one more balloon to match Jamelia.

0:24:35 > 0:24:37Come on, Debra, you can get that red one!

0:24:40 > 0:24:4220 seconds remaining.

0:24:42 > 0:24:44Amazing! Can she get four?

0:24:45 > 0:24:47Come on, Mum!

0:24:49 > 0:24:51Oh, no, she lost it.

0:24:53 > 0:24:54I don't know why I did that.

0:24:56 > 0:24:58Now, that's doughnut of the day from Debra.

0:24:58 > 0:24:59She's out of time.

0:25:01 > 0:25:02Yay!

0:25:03 > 0:25:05I could do that for ages. I loved it!

0:25:05 > 0:25:08Doing the doughnuts was the best thing yet.

0:25:08 > 0:25:10It was so much fun!

0:25:10 > 0:25:12You'd think for me to be out of control,

0:25:12 > 0:25:14I'd feel really frightened and out of my comfort zone,

0:25:14 > 0:25:17but actually, I felt like a stunt driver or something.

0:25:17 > 0:25:20You don't normally get to do that often.

0:25:20 > 0:25:23No, no, you kind of hope that you wouldn't ever get

0:25:23 > 0:25:24to do that, really, on a real road.

0:25:24 > 0:25:26So, do you want to know how many balloons you burst?

0:25:26 > 0:25:28Yeah, hit me with it.

0:25:28 > 0:25:29You got three balloons in one minute,

0:25:29 > 0:25:32so, let's have a look at what that does to the scores!

0:25:32 > 0:25:35So, at the end of Round Two, Rowland managed just two,

0:25:35 > 0:25:39but Debra and Jamelia both got three, which means the Oranges

0:25:39 > 0:25:42and the Greens both get a minute knocked off their first round time.

0:25:42 > 0:25:45Let's see how that affects the podium positions!

0:25:47 > 0:25:49So, Sandra, take it away.

0:25:49 > 0:25:51OK, what a great day. How exciting.

0:25:51 > 0:25:53Well, I have the results.

0:25:53 > 0:25:57In first place with a time of...

0:25:57 > 0:26:00- Two minutes and six seconds... - Good time.

0:26:00 > 0:26:03- ..it's Debra and Max!- Oh, well done!

0:26:06 > 0:26:09Well done, Max. Get in there...well played.

0:26:09 > 0:26:11Well done, good on you.

0:26:11 > 0:26:14In second place...

0:26:14 > 0:26:15Oh, it's going to be tight.

0:26:15 > 0:26:20..with a total time of three minutes and one second...

0:26:22 > 0:26:24Teja and Jamelia!

0:26:25 > 0:26:28Yay! Well done, Teja. Well done, Jamelia.

0:26:29 > 0:26:33With regret, in third place, with a total time

0:26:33 > 0:26:36of four minutes and seven seconds...

0:26:36 > 0:26:38Oh, that's rubbish.

0:26:38 > 0:26:40- ..it's Rowland and Ned. - Yes!

0:26:40 > 0:26:42Get up there, Ned.

0:26:44 > 0:26:47I'm sorry to say your dad's not going to be able to save you.

0:26:47 > 0:26:50- Ned, Rowland...- Yeah. - It's the wash of shame.

0:26:50 > 0:26:53- I think I'm going to enjoy this. - Come on, let's go and get changed.

0:26:53 > 0:26:56Go on take the wash of shame. Go on, then.

0:26:56 > 0:27:00Debra and Max's incredible win gives them a maximum three points,

0:27:00 > 0:27:03bringing their overall Superskills tally to ten.

0:27:04 > 0:27:07The Greens get two points for second place,

0:27:07 > 0:27:09bringing their overall tally to six.

0:27:10 > 0:27:13Rowland and Ned's measly one point leaves them in second place

0:27:13 > 0:27:15with eight points overall.

0:27:17 > 0:27:21So, it's still all to play for on tomorrow's epic final day,

0:27:21 > 0:27:23when our teams will face the ultimate driving test,

0:27:23 > 0:27:26the Monster Superskills Challenge.

0:27:26 > 0:27:30There's going to be thrills, spills and a massive ten points

0:27:30 > 0:27:34up for grabs which could turn the leader board on its head.

0:27:34 > 0:27:37Also, on tomorrow's show, Mr C is up to his old tricks again!

0:27:37 > 0:27:42And one of our teams will be lifting the Celebrity Driving Academy trophy.

0:27:42 > 0:27:44Who will be champions?

0:27:44 > 0:27:46I don't know, but what I do know is, right now,

0:27:46 > 0:27:49the Blues are going to get gunged.

0:27:55 > 0:27:57Oh, lovely!

0:28:06 > 0:28:07I'm so happy!
